Not too happy I had $5 points to redeem and the picture I see and had two cups of Margarita and six tacos right above wher it says redeem your points so in my head I'm thinking it's for anything when I get up to the cashier and it says it only took off $3.00. she said alcohol was excluded from the points which on their page it says nothing about alcohol being excluded you can redeem your points for anything you want. Well it doesn't look like it but I'm not too happy with the false advertisement. Taco Cabana you need to get it together and either advertise right or put it in small prints or take off the two pictures of the margaritas so people don't get any false id eas and believing that they can order whatever they want with their own points.

The pretty lady at the desk on Sunday night was very nice and helpful. The young men in black where also super. They all had great energy. Thankyall.

It was me and my boyfriend’s first time ever eating at a taco cabana and it 10000% won’t be the last. The food was absolutely amazing and the service was great too. I was somewhat shocked to see how clean and beautiful the entire place was. At one point my boyfriend was almost in tears because the food reminded him so much of his mothers cooking.

Enjoyed their new Queso Blanco dip. Very yum. This was a good location.

I just want to say that I had a misunderstanding with an order I had ordered online and I called at the store and the manager help me out right away I had my food ready for me right when I got there the food is great the atmosphere was great the people were great and I really appreciate everything they did I give them five stars

Really good food as always! Sadly, their staffing has taken a huge hit and they are working a skeleton crew of one or two employees. Menu has been cut back drastically and the beef fajitas fall just a bit short as they are no longer true fajitas. Bean and cheese tacos are still awesome and beat everyone else hands down. Stop by and give them a try, would definitely recommend them for lunch or breakfast!

Stopped by the drive-thru and got a Chicken Quesadilla and Chicken Tinga Torpedo. Service was quick and food was very tasty. The "torpedo" was a little spicy but it was still good. I like that the quesadilla came with guacamole and sour cream. I like that they sometimes have limited-time only items and I like to try those.

I usually plan ahead and order Taco Cabana online, but this time I was not prepared at all and placed my order only about an hour and a half before I needed it. Thankfully, the online ordering process was super easy to navigate, and pickup was smooth and stress-free. When I arrived at the store, the team member who helped me was genuinely kind and even assisted me to the door, which I really appreciated. The food was hot, ready on time, and perfect for a meeting, and it honestly started my morning off on a great note. I ordered a box of mixed breakfast tacos to go. They were very good and delicious!!! They actually had lots of egg inside too. They had them ready and all packed up by the time I arrived to pick them up. The only thing I would complain about is that the Pico De Gallo is NOT hot at all. It has lots of tomato and the jalapeños are not hot, I was disappointed in that. The girl at the drive through window was very nice and pleasant, with a smile! I highly recommend these!!!

7/2024 Update: since I originally posted this review, I have to say they have improved and maintained that improvement. So not sure if new management or training staff but it has all been good. Old Review 2022 Never again! I did not write reviews when they continuously get my order wrong but today topped the cake. My husband ordered 2 crispy shredded chicken tacos and checked to ensure they were the crispy shells. Usually they get the order wrong and put flour soft shells. He opened to check to ensure the shells were crispy corn but didn’t realize he needed to check to ensure they put chicken in them. At a hefty price of $2.59 per taco for shell, about a spoon of chicken and some lettuce and tomato - we won’t be back. The taco on the bottom photo is mainly lettuce. Not even a spoon of chicken so couldn’t even spread it out. Stay clear of this location!!!

So this was my first time trying Taco Cabana. The food was ok, but the atmosphere there was so depressing. All of the employees seemed miserable and didn't act like they wanted to be there. I know people have bad days, but this wasn't just one employee, it was all of the ones i interacted with. I'll probably try it again, just not this location. :(

I feel like the prices are too high for the food that they serve. I ordered their new appetizer platter that is $10 and my poppers didn't even have anything on the inside. My soda was pure carbonation. Everytime I come through the drive thru they take forever and then take forever again correcting their mistakes. Used to love coming here, but now I rarely do.

I’m giving an overall rating of 3 because of my latest experience. I placed my order through the mobile app and was advised of approximate time my order would be ready. Upon arriving to pick up my order, I was told that my order could not be filled due to the local not having any eggs. I had ordered the Cabana Box of breakfast tacos. Well, after being told that, you would think that the manager would make an attempt to satisfy a repeat customer, but no, that did not happen. I was also told that no one there could provide me with a refund either. Basically I was told, “Sorry sir. Have a nice day”. I did eventually get a call from someone, I’m assuming from local corps field office and received an apology for what had happened and was promised a refund.

Usually the drive through is having issues and customers orders are easily fumbled. But as of late there have been many improvements. Had a special request for my pregnant wife, a completely disassembled nachos - they nailed it, no problem, AND with the quickness. Keep up the good work.

I went in and stood there for several minutes while the lady stared at the screen, not looking up until finally a coworker came behind her after her shoulder and looked at me. Food was delicious, but don't order online for curbside pickup. It took them over 30 minutes from get our order ready. This is the second time that it happened. If I have to go wait that long for fast food, I'd rather just stay home and cook.

Pretty disappointing. Food had little flavor, and seemed like poor quality. Would have been better of microwaving some canned refried beans and nacho cheese, since that was obviously most of what made up the meal. Service was fine, but understaffed and overwhelmed (though only a handful of customers were there). Two of three orders came out wrong. It's not a taste of Mexico, it's a taste of cheap Texas. Not worth a visit in any respect.

Weird experience today. EVERYBODY had order #4! The employees apparently didn't even notice they kept coming out and calling "order #4" for EVERY order! Needless to say, quite confusing and aggravating for patrons. When we FINALLY got our order (#4 btw), one item wasn't ready, so they provided complimentary nachos while we continued waiting. Started eating 3 steak burritos we ordered, NONE of them had any MEAT! Seriously?! Eventually they got our order made correctly and we enjoyed it... Ugh!

I am so over trying to give this location a shot. No matter what, they can never get the orders right. The employees, managers included, could care less how you feel about the money you are spending or the quality of the food they’re serving. Due to time constraints for us this weekend, we ordered yesterday and today and both times the food was wrong or missing something. I’m not sure what is hard about checking tickets to ensure food is made correctly, and double checking tickets to ensure ALL purchased food items are in the bags but apparently it’s REALLY hard. And don’t bother trying to call because you just continuously reach a voicemail and no one calls back. Won’t be spending another dime here.

Workers standing around talking to each other and don’t acknowledge you at the counter. The salsa bar was empty and mislabeled. There was a man stranded in the men’s stall because there wasn’t any toilet paper. Another man had to get someone to service the bathroom. We love this chain but won’t be coming back to this location.

So do not pull forward at drive thru. After 10 minutes of waiting walked in to find them scurrying when I asked about food. They gave it to someone else! It took another 10 minutes no apologies nothing. 😑. On the upside the tortillas were fresh and food was good. Next time definitely not pulling forward for them.

What has happened to this place?! Taco Cabana used to have great food! After my experience today…I just don’t think they can blame COVID for going so far downhill. Everything I ordered this morning was completely cold, everything…aside from that, it tasted so bland I couldn’t eat any of it anyways… the beans, tortillas, eggs, all cold like they had been cooked over an hour ago and were sitting under a heat lamp…and my fajita taco had a whopping two slices of steak (which is all I was able to eat, two small slices of cold meat)…all of which I paid over $10.00 for?! The first person to come to the register couldn't figure out how to take our order, and got another employee... and they couldn't take the order right either... (menu item 3 enchilada plate... guy rang up 3 separate plates) we walked out.

I’m done here. I go at an off time for a simple order. 3 chicken flautas. I’m the only car in the drive thru so kinda strange I get asked to pull around to the front and they’d bring my food out. 12 minutes later they make good on their promise. I don’t recommend ordering curbside. I placed my order online and showed up at the time it said my food would be ready. I park in the designated area and called the number on the sign. The girl who answered told me she would be right out with my order. 14 minutes later, still no food. I’ll add that no one was in the drive thru so I doubt they were too busy. So I drive in the drive thru and tell them I am there for my curbside order and that I’ve been waiting for 14 mins. They gave me my now cold food. I briefly scanned my food to make sure everything was there but I didn’t discover until I got home that they did not include the 3 flour tortillas that I paid extra for.

This is the most disorganized store i ever seen. I was there for a pickup order and I had to wait over an hour to get it. In the meantime I saw people entering the store and just leave cause nobody was coming to get the order 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️. The employees working at 2:00 on 4/4/25 need to learn their jobs. I had waited 15 min for them to bring my meal to my vehicle after going through drive through and when I went inside no one was at the counter I had to walk in the back to get the attention of an employee so they could hand me my food that has been done for 10 minutes. Horrible service and will never go to another taco cabana.

Came through there to get food this morning and the two black girls working acted like they hated their job! She couldn’t even repeat the correct order back over 6 times. I ask her to repeat it back and she cuts off the mic at the drive through. Finally I pull up to the window and she ask me again what I would like to order then tells me they don’t offer that menu item anymore?!?! Waste of time with this place. Do your self a favor and train your staff better on customer service and menu items. Will not be back anytime soon and I’m sharing this review. Kingwood deserves a better restaurant with better quality than this.

Terrible experience. Ordered food. Never arrived. Came to store, no store manager onsite. Everyone knows how to charge but not how to refund when food is not delivered. First time in over a year that I've been here. Used to get the flautas, but the quality went down. Hasn't improved since. Got the carne asada tacos for the wife and enchiladas for me. Wife couldn't eat the tacos, said there wasn't any flavor. The guacamole sides were more of a teaspoon smeared on lettuce. I also paid $2.16 for 21 pieces of broken potatoes they wanted to call fries. Spend your money somewhere else.

If I could give this a score of -5 stars, I would! This place is one of the worst fast food restaurants I have ever dealt with in my 47 years of life! So, last night was my last straw and felt this desperately needs to be said. I ordered a taco salad last night. My fiancé came home with it and I opened it up and it looked like this! There was maybe six square chunks of lettuce barely any of the other ingredients and a bowl of soupy beans. Was not even edible. This location NEVER gets orders right!!! I don't know why anyone bothers to come and place the order for what they want. Because most likely they're going to give you what they want to give you. They should name the place "The Taco Shell Game". If you don't know what "The She'll Game" is, look it up. I am genius!! Ha!! 🤣😂🤣😂 No seriously though, management needs to clean house on the employees here and just get people who actually can do their job right!! It's not just last night, this is a couple days a week for us personally and then my son and his wife have had the exact same problems. They won't even go there anymore and honestly if things don't change, as much as I love when they do actually get the order correct every now and again we won't continue coming either! I spoke to a very nice person on the phone who was very polite and offered to remake it this evening for me. So for that thank you!!! However I have seen the movies about what people do to your food when you complain. So I'll pass on that offer. I truly hope someone is paying attention to these reviews. I would like to see improvements so we can come get what we do like without having to go through the bag before we leave every single time. Not real easy when you're dealing with Mexican food.

The photos on their website are very misleading! The actual size is more then half less of what the photo shows. The guacamole was turning gray and the Pico was a joke! I could have gotten better quality of food for my money from a taco stand then I did from this Taco Cabana.... 👎👎👎👎👎

Came here the other night and they couldn't take our order because they were running some program on their registers. Came in today through the drive thru, had to wait over 10 minutes for our grilled onions....which were warm but still hard (see below). Why did that take 10 minites?! Then I had to go inside anyways because they didn't bother giving us a spoon or fork for the burrito bowl. Wont be back to this location.
