Absolutely the best fast food place in town! Fast, efficient, friendly. I could go on and on. What makes this place even better is the sweet cashier who works there front counter. Her name is Misty. She should run her own Whataburger. Sweet isn't a strong enough word. She's precious! Whatever she makes per hour should be doubled immediately! She's worth every penny. I love this Whataburger!
Love this Whataburger! I love coming here because they’re so fast with my food and I only have 30 mins for lunch lol. Also love when they greet me and know me already! I’m either here to pick up most of the time or ready to order to dine in.
One of my favorite burger places, always good, always hot and always reasonable in cost. Ate here again today on my birthday, they gave me some freebies. Their new chicken sandwich with the slaw is awesome.

If you want great service and consistently tasty food then stop at the Porter,TX Whataburger. I live closer to the Kingwood location but would rather drive the extra distance to receive all of what I order with the modifications I pay for. This location tastes better to me, is super fast, and prepares my food correctly. I appreciate getting what I pay for and not having to return to get it!
Had breakfast there and the service was good. Got food fast and it was hot. Store clean and neat. I just wish they would not push a broom around my table when I am eating. Stirs up all kinds of dust.
Esteban was an absolute sweetheart-- very well done with this morning group of employees----Whataburger is always good. They messed up my (big) order one time and the manager came to window, did everything she could to fix it, gave me free pies and was so sweet the whole time
This is the best whataburger ever . From service and burgers to management everything about this whataburger I love. They always have my orders correct staff is always friendly and nice and my burger is always perfect ...every single time I come and that’s atleast 2 times a week everything is on point ...whoever owns and manages this whataburger #greatjob #bestwhataburger there is and I drive extra miles and pass other whataburgers that don’t share the same service ..!!!!
Service was excellent they had a man come back in to complain about a hamburger but he had looked in the wrong bag they was very nice to him he was so mad when he walked in . I have to say I was very impressed with the young lady she had a different color uniform no with a ball cap she was a small lady. She let him know that she would be happy to help hem and fix the other. As for or food it was excellent and the store was very clean

I had not had Whataburger since my initial visit in 2013. Most restaurants are now serving a lesser quality of food. It does not seem to be that way with Whataburger! I will definitely be visiting a Whataburger soon.
All the staff were very helpful and great service. Cassandra was very helpful and greeted my family and I at the door and took my order. The managers, Sarah and Kimberly came to our table to make sure our food was correct. The presentation and the savory of those burgers were awesome. EMILY was such an amazing server. I’ve never met her before but she really made our experience great. As a native Houstonian I always go to Whataburger when I visit home. I traveled 1300 miles, 22 hours, for this burger! It tasted great. Thanks Whataburger!

Even under the stresses of the pandemic, this location is running like a well greased machine. Very prompt service and courteous staff on board. Take out or dine out is a very rare occasion for my family, so when I do choose somewhere, I want golden service like the crisp french fries they serve. Bravo to this location for making my experience here worth the money I've spent.

I just stopped here for a sweet tea since yall know whataburger makes theirs and as always, it was amazing. There was a little line in the drive through so I went inside and there wasn't a line inside. The cashier came to me quickly and was friendly and kind and got me taken care of. They had stickers on their tea containers showing when the tea was made and when it needed to be tossed out and the counter and everything was clean! Good location!
I loved the service and the food came out very fast. They are very hard working people and they deserve there 5 Stars.
It's my go to place when I want a delicious juicy burger. The #5 is my favorite. It is wheelchair accessible, usually cold dining area, and over the top service. Is your ordering drive thru just speak a little louder because there's a car wash right next to it that makes it difficult to understand and hear.
For it to be 3am, the staff here were on point. Friendly people, and a steady turn out of cars given the time, and having to cook some items fresh (if not all). They even had malts! Great job night crew.

Stephanie at the register was so sweet and helpful. Her customer service was phenomenal. Whether you dine in or take it to go she will give great customer service. The food was fresh and delicious. Manager walking around helping customers was a great sight to see.

It's a great place to eat, I go there on Fridays twice a month and always order the #2 when I'm on lunch at work with a few buddies. We always enjoy a great burger no better place than what a burger 😋🍔
For those late night munchies this Whataburger hits THE SPOT. Yup this is one of those great Whataburger's. The workers get my orders correct. They are nice and attentive. The restaurant is clean.

I had a great experience here, everyone was helpful especially Mario (the cook) I asked if he could redo a burger without mustard and add mayo. He was fast and efficient and even apologized (which he didn't needed to but surprised me) for the previous order. And Don Ivan was courteous, friendly and funny when handing me my order. Overall 5 stars this location has a great team.
Almost every time I come to this location it’s great!!! Tip I’ll always give if your a fry connoisseur as am I, well done, no salt is key!!!! Drive thru less than 5 minutes
My husband and I always receive great service here. Our orders are always right and the restaurant inside is clean. There's plenty of parking for those that go inside the restaurant to enjoy some good fast food.

Stopped by Whataburger tonight after an event, and they absolutely delivered. The food was hot, fresh, and exactly what we needed after a long evening out. Our order was accurate, the fries were crisp, and the burgers tasted like they were made with care — not rushed. The staff deserves credit. Everyone was friendly, patient, and upbeat, even with a steady flow of customers. The dining area was clean, and service moved quickly without feeling chaotic. Whataburger has always been reliable, but tonight stood out. Great food, great service, and a consistently welcoming atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back.
I gotta say, IT'S PERFECT! I took a single bite of a cheeseburger with no pickles with a strawberry milkshake and I felt heaven, so I would recommend going here, location: Houston.

Considering my wife and I went at lunch, with 4 cars in each drive thru lane, our food came out with in minutes and was correct. We ate in the car and there was plenty of toppings on my double cheese burger that I don't recommend eating in the car. Really good tasting burger and much bigger than expected.

Whataburger is always a favorite however....at this location we waited in drive thru for approximately 5 minutes without answer . We were dragging a trailer, so we decided to go inside so the line wouldn't back up more. We went inside to see the crew was mostly young pet and alot of horseplay. We waited about 10 minutes for food and it was hot and fresh, but my Jalapeno burger had HUGE chunks of lettuce they chopped but didn't separate. Getting bites of the burger was losing everything due to 2 inch thick blocks of lettuce in my burger.
I had trouble hearing the woman at the Menu, I had to repeat myself many times as well. It seems that they were also having issues as speed was not a factor this day. For context a 10 minute wait isn't that bad but they were not busy at all making it a bit much. Redeeming quality, however...The person delivering my food was very friendly. So, there's that...lol
Although we ordered at the counter and dined in, the food wasn't hot. Our food was delivered quickly so I don't know why it wasn't hot. Three adult meals and 2 kids meals was over 50 dollars, the quality wasn't worth the price.
They just can't my order correct in the drive thru at this location, so I've had to lower my rating. This location was great a few years ago, but if I'm gonna pay 10 bucks for a chicken strip meal with cream gravy ( which i asked for 4 times) and got home with no sauce or gravy, and overcooked chicken, then it won't be at this location anymore. So frustrating! And this was after they tried to give me someone else's order first.
I'm only giving 3 stars because the customer service is not that great although the food usually comes pretty fast but at the same time my last 3 visits have gone me food that was hard or stale. All three times I ordered chicken strips. The strips on the last visit were so small

I went with a group from my church after service this evening. My food, which was a small burger was good. However my two friends ordered the kids chicken straps with fries. The chicken straps were over cooked and fries barely warm. A little history on the Porter location, on Wednesday evenings, this was a very popular location. It would be packed with church people. After the Valley Ranch location opened up, the Porter location just has not been the same. Last evening we arrived about 8:30ish and we were the only customers dining in at that time. I hope that something changes here to bring the quality back to where it was in the past. Just fyi, your workers were very friendly and helpful.
It was ok. Seems to be one of the longer wait times I've experienced at Whataburger drive through. This location doesn't have coke zero. They didn't have a certain bun for a specific sandwich, which isn't a big deal, just throw on a different bun. The fries were not great :/ They were somewhat warm but they definitely were not very fresh.
The cashier Khalaf really didn't want to be there doing her job. No greeting, no smile, nothing. And then rolled her eyes when I asked for the drinks from my online order. Food was good, restaurant clean.
I had to go up to the counter to correct 4 different mistakes with my order, the staff was nice and fixed it. The bathrooms are always locked, you have to get the code from the staff. And there is not changing table in the bathroom. I had to put paper towels down and change my baby on the bathroom floor. Ill avoid this one in the future.
Everything was good my only complaint was that the lady making the food. Had the phone to hear ear talking the whole time. I would never let my employees talk on the phone out in the open. A reflection on the management team.

The service was nice the workers were really king and helpful. But I my friend got a large fry but they didn't give it to her and they mad us pay for it still other than that the food was good.
Wow I don't know what happened to Whataburger in Porter. It was great until it got sold. Drove through the other day, their hamburger was horrible. French fries were stale and most of it didn't have salt. Drive-thru Windows act like they don't want you there and you're bothering them. It seems very unorganized on the outside as well. I'll come back in a month to see if there's a difference and I will change my review. I wouldn't go to this one I go find another one. There's one in New caney up the street less than two-and-a-half miles, north.
It was 2:15pm on a Friday (past the lunch hour) and the drive thru still took almost 20 minutes for 5 cars in the queue. Their app didn't work when attempting drive thru pickup. The burger tasted great and the service was very friendly.
Not the greatest experience here. As I walked into the store, I noticed a large patch of paint missing from the wall, with bugs crawling all over it. When I walked into the restaurant, the walkway to the cashier was super, SUPER slippery, yet no sign warning customers was put up. I stumbled a few times, but managed not to fall. When I ordered my food, the staff was very abrupt with me, and my food took 20 minutes to arrive at my table, and that was with me asking twice if my food was ready. I don't know what the cook had against me, but when I asked for no ketchup on my burger, it arrived completely drench in it. I wouldn't recommend this place.
This location has the same great Whataburger food as any other location. That being said, this location has the longest fast food wait times I've ever experienced. We have waited more than 20 minutes for our food in the drive through here before. This is why we dont frequent Whataburger. We love the food, but cant spare the wait time on most days.

I don't usually get aggravated enough to leave a review, but this time I am but I'm gonna make it quick...went through the drive thru so I didn't have to go in and low and behold they forgot my onion rings so guess what, I had to go in. Got home with my Cobb salad only to find no dressing for my salad....whoever is bagging needs to really pay attention to what is happening. I mean I don't know about anyone else, but a salad with no dressing is nothing more than a waste of money...Disappointing.
We ordered curbside and after waiting 25-30 mins had to go inside to get the order. It was ready and just sitting there. It's hard to answers the questions. Went in to order. It took 10 to get the food. We were going to eat on our way to shop. The sandwich was dripping in the sauce and mustard on the chicken finger sandwich. It's was such a mess..couldn't get it unwrapped. Took it back in and waited another 10 minutes to get a sandwich that could be eaten without wearing most of it. They can never seem to get your order out in a timely manner and there is always something not right.

Figures!!! I go through the drive thru to get a burger and they cant get it right. I knew I should if checked it before I left.. so order a sweet and spicy burger. The only thing I ask to change is add grilled jalapenos and no mustard. That's not hard to make it right, its on the receipt. Get it and go home. Start eating and dont taste onions, jalapenos, sweet and spicy. So nothing on the burger but cheese, bacon, and meet. REALLY!!! I was so hungry i just went home and ate part of it. We usually prefer this location over the new caney location but today the lady was highly rude for no reason we would not come back if she's there. We told her about a deal and she blew us off and when she had to do another order she got annoyed with us.
Let’s get right into it. Too much grease on those fries. The place is busy but why not tap that grease off those fries a lot better. By far the worst experience I’ve ever had at a Whataburger. It took me 43 minutes in the drive-through to receive my food. And of course when I received it it was at room temperature The best thing about my meal was the Dr Pepper. It was a two lane drive-through I would’ve left but I couldn’t get out… I was extremely late to work. I will never ever stop by this Whataburger ever again. I will tell all of my friends and anybody else that I can to stay away from this Whataburger
I stop here every Sunday morning and order the same exact thing. Most weeks the service is ok but never is it what I call good. Today, I ordered the meal and the guy that took my order thought I just wanted a biscuit and hashbrowns. They made my sandwich, put in the biscuit and the sack sat for 4 minutes until the lady up front realized that no one had dropped hashbrowns to fry. This took another 3 minutes. There is a lot more to it than this but the short story is that I only received 1 BEC sandwich and it was cold from having to sit and wait. I think I am done stopping here... very frustrating!
Horrible worker at counter for 2nd weekend in a row. I never say anything but line was out the door because they had one register open. You are better than that. Other workers sitting around with a large drive in and in store presence. I had an issue with hamburger last weekend and same worker asked me what you need? Very rude and I can tell this was the last place she wanted ro be at.

I don’t understand. I come inside to order HOT Fries. I asked.. please can I get hot fries. They bring me cold fries. Please I asked for hot fries. They mixed hot fries with their old fries and bring me those nasty fries. I ask them one more time.. please cook me fresh fries and don’t mix them. What is so hard about getting hot fries. There fries are nasty anyway. That’s why I stopped eating at Whataburger. Ok, I’m for sure done with Whataburger. Never going back again. It’s too painful to fight for Hot fries with my cheeseburger.
If I could leave 0 stars I would, yesterday I came because I wanted to enjoy a burger, I ordered it without mustard and without pickles and asked if I could get any mayo in it, they took my order and PUT PICKLES AND MUSTARD IN IT I repeated twice I didn’t want any pickles ,mustard in it, I told them if they could change it they said yes it took about 30-45 minutes I got mad and asked if my burger was ready only then they gave it to me if it wasn’t for me asking them I wouldn’t have gotten my burger this is the worst service I’ve gotten at a whataburger definitely will NOT BE COMING BACK!
Last time we had went, last week, we had great service. However this time not only did they possibly give our food to the other car that had been in line less than a minute and peeled out of there like they were guilty, they tried coming to us telling that they had lost our order and then accused my father of lying about a missing fry and gravy. The manager was very rude. I don't usually give bad reviews and I let it go, but not this time
Go up one exit to Valley Ranch. 20 minutes in a drive thru line after ordering 2 pancake platters and biscuits in gravy. Zero explanation when the food was finally slowly walked out to my car by some halfwit teenager and then I get home with half my order. Call back and talk to a manager who sounds 12 and get an offer to remake my biscuits and gravy if I drive 10 minutes back. Thanks guys.

You guys lost A LOT of business tonight. Had 6 cars in front of me in the drive thru. In 20 minutes, the line only moved up by on car. No less than 10 cars behind me gave up and left which finally gave me room to back out and leave. Ridiculous.
This is by far the worst Whataburger ever. They are the most incompetent people ever. How hard is it to read how I want my order. This may be the closest to me, but I refuse to go back to this one. They never seem to get it right. I stopped coming to the porter location due to this issue. I placed an order tonight by mistake at this location, I just knew it was going to be screwed up. Please do not go to this location. The one on Northpark is the best and I have never had an issue . Porter location needs more training ASAP!!
This has to be one of the worst dining experiences of my life. I ordered online to pickup through the drive-thru. I arrived at 11:55 and the line was pretty long. Usually it moves quickly, so I didn't think anything of it. What I didn't realize is that there was only one manager and one worker working. By the time I realized, it was too late. I was trapped in line for 55 minutes of hell. I spent 15 minutes at the speaker alone before they even asked me if I wanted to order. I misheard the cashier and pulled out to the second lane and waited for my order. I was then told that I had to come inside and pickup my order. So I was pretty furious. I understand that they were short handed and very busy, but it was just a ridiculous experience. I honestly feel bad for snapping at the cashier for wasting my time when I picked up my order inside. I know that it's not her fault. I just finished working an 11 hour shift and I'm exhausted, so the last thing I wanted to do was wait an hour for my food. Somehow my food was cold by the time I received it. So I'm guessing that it was made sometime while I was trapped in the drive thru line. Needless to say, I'll never be eating at this location again. The district manager needs to step things up at this location and make sure that they are fully staffed. The manager offered me a job while I was complaining about waiting so long for my food. Lol The cashier woman seriously needs a raise. No one should have to work in such a terrible situation. The poor woman is a saint for not walking out and quitting. I would highly advise any Whataburger lovers to skip this location and visit the one in Valley Ranch or on Kingwood drive instead.
This place forgot most of my wife and I's order and only provided three out of the six items we ordered. When I went in to show proof that they forgot most of our order with the receipt, I got looks as if I was lying. When we were finally provided the food that we ordered, the burger they made for my wife was cold and she had to ultimately throw it away. Will never be back as everything about this Whataburger was 1 star.
It’s 2 years now since we used this Whataburger location . The service is horrible still. We order 3 order jalapeños sliced for our meals. We got one container with 3 slices of jalapeño. The other 2 didn’t even get placed in the bag. So went back to get them to fix the issue. Then they gave us 3 whole jalapeño. Then for third time had ask for the sliced jalapeños. How hard is it to get order right. Who ever manages this location needs to find a new job. I will always. Go the valley ranch location. This location really does not care about the customers. I sure no one reads these complaints. If they did . The issues would be addressed by now.

This used to be the good whatburger. I don't know who they've hired for nightshift but I waited at the window for 15 minutes and saw my food ready but no one wanted to take my payment or give me my food. Yall suck
If I could give zero stars, I would. We went to the drive thru on a Thursday night between 6:40 and 7:10 pm. Our order was quite simple, (2) meals and an extra drink and fries. The line was slow moving, but it's usually the case during the peak of typical dinner hours, so we didn't really expect speedy or even exceptional service. #1. Burger Prepared Incorrectly: My son found one single square of lettuce in his "plain" burger. I mean, why? We ordered it plain and dry, which the sticker on his burger wrapper clearly indicated. #2. Burger Half Hazardly Prepped: My burger had huge chunks of lettuce root that weren't even fully chopped and fell out when I lifted my burger from the unfolded wrapper. I didn't even bother to chop it, so I threw the lettuce away. #3. Disgusting Fries: My daughter started to eat her fries and realized several were hard and undercooked, yet others were soggy and wilted. The same was true with my husbands fries. They looked transparent and soft with zero crispness whatsoever. #4. Horrible Customer Service: I called to talk to a manager, Leah, the manager on duty, answered. I described the food we were given and emphasized how it lacked in quality and freshness. She quickly apologized but didn't sound sincere in the slightest and said she would talk to the workers in charge of the fryer and, in record haste, bid me a good day. I paused for a moment as I was really taken back by her lack of empathy or remorse but she just sat on the line in silence, it was obvious she didn't care, so I hung up. I wasted my hard earned money on cold, crappy disgusting food and another minute and 22 seconds of my life talking to a poor excuse of a manager. This individual clearly has little to no managerial skills. No wonder the lines were out of control, people were complaining, and the double drive thru lines were so backed up.
After a long night I figured this would be an easy quick meal. Bad CS Katherine was busy writing on a coworker’s apron. The wait for our meal was about 20 minutes. We ordered a chicken strip meal and the chicken was missing. Only received the fries and toast. I called the restaurant 3x before I received an answer. Katherine answered and had a hard time giving her name. Katherine kept referring to herself as the manager. I was told to return to the store for a replacement meal and if I want a refund I need to go to the store. I’m tired and this was suppose to be an easy evening dinner. Now I’m out of money and out of a meal.
This whataburger has declined over the last visits but my last one was the worst whataburger experience ever.. gave me unacceptable, poorly mixed shake with no flavoring.. had it remade 3x then the manager tried to address the problem but was very rude about it, she laughed in my face about the whole situation. Came the next day & the day manager was okay but really didn't accommodate the situation & didn't ever apologize. Will not ever spend money at this location again. Wasted time, money and gas dealing with this whataburger.
