Surprisingly great BBQ for a decent price. I purchased the two-meat plate (sausage and brisket) and I felt like the food was very good. I enjoyed the spicy BBQ sauce. My fiancé got a baked potato, and she wished the pulled pork could’ve been warmer so that’s the biggest thing bringing the quality down. Sides are great too - I recommend the Mac and Cheese or the fries.

It was meh… I wasn’t really impressed. The portion size was not worth what I paid. But the brisket was tender. Probably my first and last trip.

I asked for pickles and onions. I didn't get pickles and onions. Way to go, no name employee. You've got a real winner their Dickey's barbecue pit.

Had a blowout one afternoon and decided to stop and grab lunch @Dickey's here. First, the restaurant was CLEAN! That made me comfortable enough to continue with ordering. I ordered a barbecue sandwich and it just was not good and it was $20! I'm good on this place. 😔

Eaten here a few times over the years, and its usually pretty good for 'fast food bbq'. Tonight was terrible. Service was good, but 1/2 of my 3 meat plate i shared with my daughter was inedible. The chicken was like sawing through wood, the pulled pork was a glob of grease which left a large pool of grease in my to-go box, and the brisket was part meat part shoe leather. The roll was a small brick instead of its usual fluffiness as well. For 20 bucks out the door with a drink, it's extremely disappointing that i couldnt even eat half my meal because the food was such poor wuality this time. At least the 2 guys serving were cool.

Worst bbq IN TEXAS AND ANYWHERE IN THE USA !!!* This is based off food. Food alone. I’m not sure if I can add videos but if I can you’ll understand if I can’t then I’ll try to get descriptive as much as I can along with photos but photos do not show what I see and taste and smell. Firstly I ordered the two meats meal, turkey and pork ribs with an extra rib, they were out of salad some how so I got Mac and potatoes casserole. Casserole was not a potato casserole at all it was mashed potatoes. Mac n cheese was okay but both cold and it wasn’t my delivery driver he picked up food and immediately come to me in 8 min. The turkey tasted like ham and canned ham , like the kid laughable with turkey tasted exactly like that! Awful and cold, the ribs had zeroooooo sauce and were over cooked hard and cold as well. The bread was great. Then I got my wife the brisket , the brisket was exactly like my pork ribs , cold , really over cooked, and tastless and hard on the end and some parts really hard! Then I ordered a pecan pie it was good but clearly boxed cold pie, the okra was cold and tasted old everything tasted old and cold and when I say the ribs were smaller than my fingers and EVERYTHING EVEN THE PIE WAS NOT a normal slice of pie it was so small it fit my hand with lots of room and it was 5$ and change that’s terrible ! Also ordered onions and never got any . Everything was portioned for a 3 year old not an adult worst bbq in Texas and anywhere iv ever had. Just moved down here really wanted some good bbq ordered and was so disappointed im appalled they actually send this out to be served. PAID OVER 50$

I don’t leave negative reviews, but I don’t want you to waste your time. $24 for a two meat this is what I got. 3oz sides, meat warmed in the microwave. Only thing that might have been fresh was the okra. Didn’t even try the food.

Ordered a 2 meat plate of brisket, a beef rib, an extra order of burnt ends, fried okra, fries and texas toast. The brisket was bland, the beef rib was hard as a crouton and dry, the burnt ends didnt have any sauce or seasoning and the plate was 2/3 fat. The okra was bland, and the texas toast was barely toasted. Overall its the biggest disgrace to texas bbq.

The only reason I'm eating this is because I paid for it. It's definitely not worth the $19 I paid though. No toast, minimal flavor. I don't come to Dickeys to get 5 star BBQ, but damn... This is trash. And why did I get a ciabatta roll? And why did they ask me to write a review before I was even done ordering (in order to get a free drink, so they say)? Probably because they know what's going on

I DO NOT Recommend the 22510 Hwy 59 Porter location. To preface, Noone was even at the counter when I walked up to place my order? I had to walk next door to get someone there to notify the Dickey’s people they had a customer. When the Dickey’s young man finally arrived at the counter he was rude, abrupt and not very helpful. I ordered the 2-meat plate at $15.50 with 2 sides and a roll. I was Extremely disappointed when I received 2scrawny ribs with very little beef (mostly ALL bone!) and they were not very good at all. The sausage was good there just wasn’t enough of it for $15.50. I expect to pay a little more for BBQ, I understand enough about the market to know I’m going to inevitably pay more for BBQ when I dine out. But I also Expect MORE when I order BBQ in Texas. Very disappointing experience here I won’t be back

We went last week because we had a coupon for 'Buy A 3 Meat Plate & 2 Big Yellow Cup Drinks & Get A 3 Meat Plate Free'. We were VERY DISAPPOINTED to say the least. It was $27.07. I ordered sliced & chopped brisket & burnt ends with green beans & mac & cheese. My husband ordered sliced & chopped brisket & kielbasa sausage with BBQ beans & okra. Well, he actually had to have the spicy sausage because they were out of the regular. I apparently got the last of the mac & cheese bcuz the next person was told they were out. They were also out of most other sides as they were baking them. They were also out of all the sauces except spicy. Their 'dinner roll' is a mini ciabata bread (tiny). They don't have drinks there, you have to go to the store that's connected; & they were out of all diet sodas. As far as the serving size, 3oz of each meat, not very much. You get 4oz of meat if you get a sandwich. My burnt ends were all meat & no fat or marbled meat. All of the brisket was extremely dry. I love brisket & this was not good brisket. Very disappointed in the food we paid for. Have to say we won't be back with/without a coupon. We'll make the drive to Pappas in Humble next time. Here's pics of what we received. You decide for yourself if it's worth it.
