Very nice lunch experience. Relaxing attractive environment. Friendly staff, great service. Had the most delicious Chicken Caesar Salad ever, fabulously seasoned. My husband had a philly steak sandwich, which he said was very good as well.
5 stars for everything except pricing. Everything I've tried as been fantastic but you're lucky to get out of there for less than $25-30 a person.
They've recently remodeled here, and it is beautiful.Nice warm colors and lots of windows to let in light. The menu is very large with plenty of variety. Can be a bit on the pricey end, but everything I have tried has been well executed, and the portions are huge, (just look at the size of thier cobb salad) so options for sharing or taking food home for later. However, there are other options in the area with better price points and similar quality. There is enough parking most times I've been. The lot is fairly easy to get in and out of. The staff has normally been efficient, and service is usually quick. If anybody else serves a popeye burger, LMK That's good stuff.
Hill Street has been on my radar to try out for a while now and was finally able to try it out. The restaurant has a modern look but a classic feel. There was plenty of seating for large or small groups of people. Full bar, desserts, and a huge selection of food. There was plenty of parking available as well which is a plus. I ordered the veggie burger, which was plenty of food. The prices are a little on the higher side, but was well worth it. I will definitely be visiting again.
This place is very upscale. The price range may surprise you (high) but the food is commensurately amazing. I ordered California Omlette, and I think it had at least 1 whole avocado in it!! Very big serving with plentiful ingredients. Easy parking.
We stopped by because we're in the area. Very good food. I had a buffalo chicken sandwich, which came with fries (very good) and a side salad. Added a cup (more like a bowl) of soup and really enjoyed it. Wife had soup and salad and was very happy.
Great service and wonderful value for the food. I was not so happy with tiny frozen or dried blueberries in the pancakes. They came with gorgeous fresh blueberries on top...but the taste and texture on the inside was a STRIKE OUT for me. My wife's breakfast was just right so 50% of the breakfast worked out well.
Great upscale diner with friendly staff and delicious food. The bacon avocado Burger gets prepared nicely, cooked the way I prefer and the carne asada nachos are tasty! A little on the pricey side, but worth a go.
Wonderful place for a family night out or even on a date. The service was great, full of happy people. The food was a little pricey but for me, it's good for once per month, that's because I can't afford it. Lol
Hill Street Cafe is an excellent restaurant. The menu has so many food options that it would be impossible not to find exactly what you are craving. The best reduced cost of senior selections too. Extensive wine list. Great wait staff. Not inexpensive but very good 👍 Highly recommend!
I needed to have a father-son experience and this fit the bill. We both had steak and dessert and I didn't expect to be as expensive as it was but it was still worth it. If you're in a really tight budget I would probably choose something else however, if you was really good steak and you don't mind paying close to 80 bucks for two people. It's money well-spent. It was clean people are nice and the steak was yummy.
I have been coming here since I was a little girl and it had been awhile since I'd been back. It's been newly remodeled and it looks beautiful. The staff is very friendly and the owner is nice too. The restaurant is clean and spacious. The patio is a nice space and I like how they have it covered so it's not too hot. The veggie omelette is delicious as well are their chai lattes and regular coffee. Big portions, family friendly. Highly recommend.
First time here and it didn't disappoint. Came for breakfast and it was great. The options were plentiful and the servings were generous. Our waiter was super cool as my wife's order was mixed up in the process and he made the changes without questions. Definitely worth coming back again and again.
This quaint cafe has a wonderful atmosphere, although dining was limited to the outdoor patio. The staff was very friendly and the food was excellent, albeit just a little more expensive than one might think. The chilaquiles breakfast was my choice, and it was excellent! Crispy tortilla pieces, spiced just right, with perfectly made chorizo and eggs and some incredible salsa.
La Canada and Angel Crest Hwy are a jewel.and this is where you eat. Fi e dining experience for a great price. Wonderful place my Grandma Carmena frequents. She.lives in Tujunga
Amazing owner and staff. So much warmth and love here
It was our first time at this cafe. The food was really good, portions pretty big. The broccoli cheese soup was amazing. The menu has special part designated for seniors which is very thoughtful, my Mom loved her meal. The service was a little slow but that is understandable if the food is freshly made and not warmed up.
Loved this place- food was very good and lots of choices, service was quick and professional. On a Sunday at 11 am- 15 minute wait- success!
On the pricey side for breakfast but great staff and clean
Once a tiny corner cafe 25 years ago, seating maybe 20 people if that. HSC has grown to be a large local town favorite for food, atmosphere and service. All menu items from Breakfast to Dinner are consistently as fresh and of the highest quality as they were 25 years ago.
We stopped after going to the Descanso Gardens and came away impressed and satisfied. The service was exceptional as was the turkey burger and sweet potatoe fries. I wish we had one in San Diego.
Great place to hangout after a drive at Angeles Crest Highway. It serves burgers, pastas, and other types of foods. The diner is clean and the staff is kind. The portions are large and the quality is great. The prices are a bit on the high side for a diner. I ordered a Cheeseburger meal and it costs around $12, excluding tip and taxes.
An American style cafe with ample portions and fresh ingredients. Full bar and sports monitors that are not intrusive. Great service with polite servers and just the right amount of attention. Comfortable booths and tables and the best part, not too noisy! You can have a conversation. Highly recommend for lunch.
Orange salad with grilled chicken. Busy place with parking in back. Sat at the bar to avoid the wait, service was great and food came out surprisingly quick considering they were packed. Salad was $20 but very large and packed full of chicken, oranges, candied nuts (pecans maybe?), thinly sliced red onions and the special dressing was the perfect combination, not very sweet but not sour/tart like a vinaigrette.
Great elevated diner menu with good portion size and fresh ingredients for the price. Plenty of choices for picky eaters but get there early (10am) to find parking in the lot or a table for a large party. I've never made a reservation so I don't know if you can. The wait isn't usually terribly long otherwise.
David our waiter was excellent!!!! Great atmosphere! Nice bar! Mom and I had a great dinner. They have a huge menu with so many choices. And a senior menu and lots of sides to choose from. I got the carne asada dinner and mom got the senior sesame chicken meal with veggies and fruit. All fresh food. My plate was so full of meat and several layers of tortillas that I had enough leftovers for maybe two more meals 😅! Love the bumpin' music and the many large-screen TVs everywhere showing the Dodger Game live. Loved this place!
My wife and I really enjoyed our first visit. The environment is very clean and upscale, the service was great, and the food was very good. When I said “upscale”, I felt like steak and eggs and was thinking it might be $22-28, but it was $36. Expensive, but good. My wife had something off the Senior menu at a more reasonable $17.95. We’ll be coming back here again soon.
Well let's start with the service. Super service , quick , friendly and ready to help. If you like coffee , stop by and enjoy their coffee it's very good. As for the food , top shelf . My wife had a BLT with avocado mmmmm . While I had the Ham and cheese on sourdough melt . Oh and a cup of their Homemade Chicken Soup . Really good, not salty at all.
We stopped by in the evening for dessert and coffee. The place was calm, not too noisy, and nobody was rushing us to leave. We shared a warm slice of pie that really hit the spot with the coffee. Right before we dug in, a photographer came over and asked if we wanted a quick photo. He later brought back a printed picture that looks really natural and, honestly, better than most of our phone photos from restaurants.
We were in La Canada to visit Twigs N Things and decided to walk around and get something to eat. There is plenty of parking in the back. We got there about an hour before they stopped serving breakfast and ordered hash browns, bacon and eggs with sourdough toast, eggs and sausage with wheat toast , a side of bacon and French toast. When the food came out one of the servers said “now that’s how you order breakfast!” Hubby had a chocolate shake and I had a pot of earl grey with heavy cream. The food was great. They use individual size packets of Mrs Butterworth that were warm! We devoured the French toast! The sausages were slightly spicy. We took home some bacon, sausage, hash browns and toast. We will be back. The fish and chips we saw at another table looked fantastic.
What is there not to like about this place! Wine/Beer options were great. Very nice looking bar btw. Food was fresh, small salad was huge. Burger was super fresh and the seasoned fries were excellent. Can’t wait to come back and try the breakfast. Decor is very modern and clean. Prices were unexpectedly great.

I wanted something different today for breakfast. I found it here. \n\nA nice change of pace at Hill Street cafe.....try the Huevos Rancheros!!!
Seriously, there are nice places, small places, quiet places, but this place is always open, always good, has everything from low cal and low fat options, chinese options, breakfast, salads, pastas…
Wonderful fresh fish dishes with good side options. The service is always friendly and accurate. Pleasant atmosphere.

Just because they added a bar that never has any customers isn't a valid reason to raise prices 50%. Prices are absolutely ridiculous. Last visit never got my garlic toast, the time before that they forgot the soup. Oops. Sorry. But never did get what I paid for.
It's a nice space, very large so you probably won't have to worry about getting a table even if you bring a large party (we had 5). There are a lot of options on the menu, though the appetizers skew towards bar food. We got the Caribbean salmon, which had an okay salad, okay grilled vegetables, a great mango salsa, and really great garlic mashed potatoes; the fish itself was a little dry. I think it's fair to say that this place makes good upscale bar- and diner-style food.
I was here a year ago. The breakfast was amazing. The layout is kind of fun you take a walk up a ramp to get to the table. They had a lot of hot sauce variations. I had an omelet with hash browns. I recall fresh orange juice Service was excellent.
It's tuesday, so it must be cream of mushroom soup. The cream of mushroom soup is excellent, extremely tasty and well done. The service was very good, fast, efficient, friendly and professional. The Ambiance overall is very good it is a little bit loud but the excellent food and service more than make up for that. This is a wonderful restaurant at the end of Angela's Crest Highway in La Canada, it's a quick on and off the freeway so please take time to stop by and enjoy the wonderful time you'll have and the great food.
Would have given 5 stars had the service staff been more responsive. We waited almost 10 minutes before a server came to our table. After we got our food the server came by once in passing asking how our food was. Nowadays people want a 20% tip. Well I am old school and if you expect a 20% tip you need to work for it.
First time back since the major remodeling. Wow, so different now, really updated and classic. Appreciate there are glass barriers between booths. There's a nice cocktail and wine list, looking forward to coming back to try. As I remember, cocktails were $14. The menu has a good variety of sandwiches and main entrées. Will come back again.
Our meal here was good, our server was good but busy and we waited a little long for our food but could see why. My bbq chicken salad was really big and really good. The place was slow, and we really thought with the food and atmosphere, the place should have been much busier.
The cafe is a typical diner with American breakfast foods and Mexican breakfast options. It was good, nothing spectacular. I got the chilequiles - a little dry, needed more flavor. I ordered a side of sauce and 2 eggs to put on top to "fix" it. Prices were fine, considering the location. The parking lot was huge, but we did not find parking. We had to use another lot next door. No wait when we arrived, 10:30am on a Saturday, but, it was a full house.
The food was great and the waitress was very kind. Unfortunately the espresso machine wasn't working so my mother got Lemonade instead. The menu has a variety of things and gave a lot of options. Overall good experience besides the slight hiccup of the coffee machine.
Sunday morning- Basic style breakfast + Mexican American style breakfast. Overall not bad for a family gathering. Don’t expect excellent coffee, but there’s excellent service. Dinner experience. I ordered the French toast combo. It was great and a crunch to it. Not sure what type of eggs they made me but I didn’t eat them because I wasn’t sure what they put, was it vinegar? The menu offered variety of style breakfast. It gets busy so get ready to wait.
Food and service are very good. The restaurant is huge. Prices are reasonable. The restrooms urgently need to be upgraded. For its size, I don't know how the city allowed a man's toilet with only one urinal and only one stall....also very dirty and dimly lit. That said, if you have physical disabilities... Good luck if/when you need to use the restrooms.
This is a really nice place. Clean and well cared for. The server was nice and took good care of us. The fish and chips were very good, and the mashed potatoes were above average. The pork chops were okay. With the onions, they were great, but on their own, they were a bit dry. Overall, it was a good experience at a new venue.
Hill Street Cafe in La Canada is a family owned business that offers family friendly services. I had their California omelette with potatoes brian and rye toast. Portion is large enough for two. Plenty of goodies incorporated into the omelette and bell peppers and onions with the potatoes. Considering it was a busy Sunday morning, I was seated promptly. And, service was fast and Johnny on the spot with quick delivery. There is plenty of on-site parking with street parking close by. The restaurant was remodeled several years ago and still looks great. Plenty of large TV’s to watch various sports games. And they have a bar area to provide your dose of favorite mind mellowing drinks. There is a smaller patio area along the front of the building along busy/noisy foothill Boulevard. Speaking of noisy, when the place is fairly packed, it does get noisy on the inside as well. The glass partitions help to divide the booths while allowing light to come through throughout the eating areas.
The place is clean and has an updated look and feel to it. I had the clam chowder. It was good/okay. I give it a 3 starts because I’ve had other amazing chowders and because prices are a bit high throughout the menu. The menu is very large which sometimes means that not all the food is top Nudge but I only tried one dish. There’s plenty of parking in the back. They play sport games on the tv’s. I think the prices are quite high for the type of cafe that it is. They have an outdoor patio. Staff is friendly.

We have been going to Hill Street for 25 years and have generally enjoyed the food, service and improved ambiance. But lately the prices have skyrocketed while the quality has generally dropped. $22.50 for an average at best club sandwich is crazy! We're not going back.
Breakfast food here seems average at best. We ordered the huevos rancheros and a Belgian waffle combo. Huevos rancheros had decent flavor but nothing special. Belgian waffle appeared to be your standard mix in a waffle maker and came with little syrup packets instead of having better syrup in a bottle. Fries were good.
My pork chop could have been used as for shoe leather.
Prices are little extreme for the price point of the food they serve. However, was fairly decent. 1-10, a 7. Have been visiting this restaurant even since it was originally down the block. When they remodeled this one, they forgot to improve and expand the restrooms. Management needs to work on, to complement the rest of the ambiance. Would recommend this restaurant to others.
The restaurant smelled of some cleaning chemical.3 stars because the waiter who did not allow his ego…to just apologize when I told him I scooped out a fruit fly off my plate. Can’t believe I didn’t return it…on top of that I tipped him. I called a manager the next day and although he was not the manager from the nite before, n he too had a problem apologizing. Seriously? I would have let this go if they learned how to say sorry, maybe they will now. After this posting, Hopefully.
Nice atmosphere but the food and service were subpar. I ordered a steak and eggs burrito, and it was the most bland, tasteless thing I could've gotten. No seasoning, texture was very off. Might try again but first impressions weren't favorable.
There is nothing wrong with this place. It is meant for senior citizens and does well for them. I gave them 2 stars as they do not seem to own any seasonings including salt and pepper.
Moderately to expensive priced Cafe. Would have preferred more spacing between tables during Covid. Cleaning on Menus needs to be better. *There was a hair in my Menu, notibly not my own as I have short curly blonde, while this was a long straight brunette hair. Service was good. I recommend doing the Soup, Salad and Half Sandwich for Lunch. $15.95 Beer of Draft was excellent especially for a Hot 90° weathered day. $$-$$$ One person Meal with Beer was about $30ish Tip your servers. Also Front Entrance is under construction, with no signage stating how to get into restaurant if coming Street side. It was very unprofessional to have customers hop over bolder to enter. As well as have customers standing so close to others while they were eating. This restaurant needs to do better in Health and Safety guidelines.
I wanted to like this place more, but so far the food was underwhelming. I'd ordered French Toast and it was just really bland and dry. To top it off, instead of a bottle or container of warm maple syrup to pour from, they give customers little packets of syrup... Packets. The customer service, however, was really great and servers and staff were very friendly and welcoming.
Not alot of flavor. Very nice place but dishes are kind of bland.
This is an American diner style place with traditional American food. I ordered three items from the menu: chicken fajitas, the Popeye burger, and fish and chips. The fajitas were decent but nothing exceptional and with the price tag it's quite expensive ($17). The burger was good, huge 1/2 lb, and filled with mushrooms. It also wasn't an exceptional meal, but good and somewhat pricey ($16). The fish and chips were thinly sliced and heavily breaded, it's not my preference but it too was just average in quality, and expensive ($17). Overall each meal individually came with plenty of food to fill anyone up. It's just your simple plain American food, don't expect anything amazing or out of this world tasty. Stop by for a casual breakfast or dinner.
Breakfast with a good vibe. Not anything stands out, pretty average dishes, but service is good, which is rare these days. French toast Syrup comes pre packaged like a dipping sauce. Seemed very fast food type. Ordered a Mexican omelette. They put salsa inside with what seemed a 1/2 cup of water. My omelette was in a puddle. Flavor was good
It's different from what it was not so long ago. The service leaves something to be desired: I had to get up to ask for the menu because no one stopped to serve me, and again I had to go to the receptionist to ask someone to take my order. The sampler appetizer arrived overcooked. Very disappointed with the food. I was waiting for a friend, and no one knew the address or wanted to look it up while she waited on the phone. The only + is the atmosphere which is still pleasant and elegant, although a bit dated.
The food is very mid. We chose this place based on the pictures and I was safely disappointed. The chorizo breakfast burrito was bland. Salt and pepper helped. The French toast was dry and served with syrup packets. The latte was good! But that was about it. Great service, even though it was an incredibly busy morning...but overpriced. We paid about $70+ for two entrees, a half order of French toast and a latte. I'd pass on this one. Sorry!
How’s the food?- It’s good, just a little inconsistent or bland sometimes. How much does it cost?- It’s a bit pricey. For a four person family, it’s most likely it’s gonna cost just shy or a little over $100. How’s the service?- When you go to eat there, waiters are friendly and you get your food decently fast. Overall rating: 6.5/10(Its a great place to go with your friends/family. It has a warm atmosphere and the staff is great.)

It's dinner food. Huge menu with a lot of items that's all from smart and final frozen section. They have so many items that they don't do anything well. It's a beautiful place, but I can't eat atmosphere. It's incredibly over priced. Seems like the food should be somewhere else in the Midwest. I spent 105$ for 3 people to eat breakfast. It wasn't worth it. Like at all.
I always try to support my local diners but this place has consistently been horrible with its breakfast service. First, very expensive with what you get (chain diner quality food), always cold hot food(is the actual breakfast made to order or do they have a buffet style in the kitchen and grab then the already made eggs, French toast, bacon then serve it? Why is the hot food always room temperature? The staff is usually good but this place has gone down in years. Too bad because not many diner style places in the area. Hey Hill Street! Read your reviews!
Service was great. When we arrived during lunch time, patio was wide open. We sat in the patio due to our 2 dogs. My food was horrible though. BBQ chicken sandwich was really bad. The chicken was bland and not tasty at all. I ended up only eating the salad and onion rings that came with it. I don't plan on going back. And I don't recommend any dish that has chicken in it at this restaurant. Even my sister ordered the chicken salad and said that her chicken was bland too.
Hill St Cafe La Canada- Dishonest and Rude. Went to Hill Street Cafe in La Canada for takeout dinner. Ordered from a takeout menu I took from the restaurant last time I was there. When I arrived to pick up the food, the total came out to around $10 more than I expected for 2 orders, based on the prices in the menu. I asked to take a look at the menu to see the prices. She handed me a take-out menu from the stand next to her. They were the same prices that I expected to see. I asked why the total is so much? And she looked at the receipt and told me, “these are the new prices.” and showed me that the menu for the sit-down customers inside the restaurant had updated the prices. I pointed out that since I had not seen the menu for the sit-down customers, I should only be charged the prices in the menu that they provided me. I asked to speak to the manager and told him the problem. He shrugged dismissively and said “Sorry. Can’t help you. These are our prices now.” I said “But you are sending your patrons home with THESE takeout menus and they have THESE prices in them. So these are the prices you should be charging.“ He said “There is a disclaimer in the takeout menu that says prices may vary.” I looked and showed him that there is no such disclaimer. (So he lied to my face) Then he said, “I will have them update the takeout menus.” I asked “Are you going to refund the extra money I was charged?” He refused, “Sorry. No. We don’t do that.”. I told him “That’s very dishonest. You are advertising one price for takeout customers and then charging more when they get here to pay.” He again gave me an unsympathetic shrug and said “Sorry you feel that way.” My better judgment told me to hand him back the food and demand a full refund and never go back in that restaurant again. But my wife was hungry and waiting for dinner, so I let it be. (BTW, the food was very good. That’s the only reason I’m giving 2 stars instead of 1. No complaints about the quality of the meal, just the dishonest pricing, the garbage customer service and the dismissive, condescending and arrogant attitude of the manager.) I went back into that restaurant a couple of weeks later, and, to no surprise whatsoever, the takeout menus have not been changed. So they are still dishonestly advertising lower prices for takeout, and then charging their customers more when they come in to pay. Just putting this out there so y’all know Hill St. Cafe in La Canada are dishonest people.
Had the clam chowder, not much flavor. Didn't find one clam.
Great service. Ordered a burger. The burger was served open (fancy style?). But the thing is that it was the most plane and lack luster burger I've ever had. Seriously... And it probably wasn't even the chefs fault. The meat was just blah. It's probably a good breakfast spot but guys my feelings are hurt. Pretty restaurant. But that's about it. And it's so expensive that I probably won't give it a second chance. What do I know I'm just a dog anyway.
My first time here, go somewhere else. Place is empty and I have an idea of why. The staff makes it seem like you're bothering them when you order. Food was ok, but I won't be back unfortunately. This place should be way more populated but it's a ghost town. Large servings though. I really don't care to give bad feedback. I almost walked out before my drink came but stayed.
I have had wonderful past experiences at Hill Street; always loved the eggs Benedict. But today, it was mediocre at best; the eggs florentine had minimal hollandaise. My plate appeared to have been sitting under a warmer, which made it thick. The sauce had no flavor. When ready to pay our bill, the waiter was no where to be found; finally asked the hostess for the bill.
My first visit to Hill Street Cafe was underwhelming. Flavorless food prepared without personality or care and way overpriced. I ordered a BLT sandwich and it had no flavor, in fact it tasted like preservative. I couldn't tell if it was the bacon or the bread that was leaving a bad aftertaste so I opened up the sandwich to taste the bacon by itself and it was tough and looked like cardboard and did not taste like bacon. I was actually concerned about ingesting it. The bread was also oddly lacking in flavor, which is weird for butter-grilled sourdough. Maybe it wasn't butter? For the first time in my 63-year life, I told the waitress I did not care for the sandwich. Without argument she took it away and brought back the menu. I ordered the Chinese Chicken Salad, and it too lacked flavor. It was clearly pre-shredded lettuce, canned chicken, a few sliced almonds and literally only 3 wedges of mandarin orange. Far from being worth $21.
Normally the food is good but today’s meal was mediocre at best. It was as if they had used leftovers from the day before. The beef, onions and peppers in my philly cheese steak were greasy and way overcooked. The bread was hard and bacon cold in my mom’s BLT. When I called later to speak the manager I was put on hold for a long time and then someone hung up on me. No call back. Time to try some other restaurants.

The food here is astronomically priced for what you get. I had the senior special turkey dinner … the food had the taste and consistency of baby food. The size of the portion of turkey was minuscule. The veritables were undercooked. This was my first and last visit to this restaurant.
I used to come here a lot and enjoyed it as a local. Moved back to the area and loved the renovation. But, they don't take kindly to transgender people and will violate the food. It's been bugging me to write this, and I had to. It's just not okay to treat people like this.
Some of the least flavorful food I’ve had. Very disappointed after reading the reviews. I got the Chicken Caesar Wrap and Seasoned Fries. Couldn’t taste even a trace of Caesar or Parmesan in the wrap even though both were definitely visible. On top of that, they did an awful job “wrapping” it, so when I picked up the second half of it, everything fell out. I had to add salt to the “seasoned” fries because all I could taste was potato. Also ordered a Draft Guinness, but was served a bottle. Wasn’t expecting anything crazy, but for some very basic dishes, it was very disappointing especially considering the higher than average price tag ($20 for a caesar wrap)
Pasta was drenched in excessive amount of pasta sauce, resulting in the pasta being overly saturated and soggy. Chef and owner of the restaurant should really change their way of cooking. Paid $25 for that pasta! :(
Chinese chicken salad had few chicken chunks and few oranges. Paying $25 for that salad was very upsetting. Owner and chef should reevaluate their ingredients
I come to this restaurant often, over time the service has increasingly gotten worse and worse. Every time I stop by is fairly early in the morning so it’s never really busy, today I came in and it looked pretty empty; I waited 15 minutes for someone to ask if I wanted something to drink. After 5 more minutes the host who sat me asked if anyone came to take my order and I said no. It’s gotten to the point that I do not even tip anymore, not too sure if I’m going to continue to stop here before work; the service is surely lacking.
Man…. The chilaquiles sucked. If you’re going to serve a dish make sure you use the proper ingredients. Chilaquiles contain a tomato sauce. They just fried tortilla and threw feta and RAW purple onions..💀 the onions are atleast sweated….def needed salt... It looked like someone chewed tortillas and threw it on my plate. This item shouldn’t be on the menu.
greed at how bizarre that is. Who would want to eat an omelette like that with warm smashed avocado all over it? We asked them to remove the item and the OWNER, not the manager but the actual owner decided it's better to haggle on what percentage we should get because I ate some of it. 30% LOL...Obviously when you bring something out people generally will try to eat it, we are not trying to get a free omelette. He was also giving me looks from a far it seemed. What a HORRIBLE owner and establishment to do this over a damn omelette. Hey owner, you should be ashamed of yourself, clearly you have zero idea on customer service and you have some kind of ego. Just imagine how embarrassing it is for an owner to haggle with a customer over an omelette that looks like throw up. I didn't even argue it, I just asked the server and she seemed embarrassed that owner is like this, and it didn't look like it was the first time either. How about asking us how you can make it right? Did you bother trying that Mr ego maniac owner??? Your just relaying messages for your staff you deal with vs coming to the table.
