A wonderful ice cream store located in East Northport. When ordering from the take out window, it's hard to understand what the person on the other side of the microphone is saying. Reminds me of the old NYC subway systems. But they serve great blizzards so there is not too much to complain about.

This is the only Dairy Queen I've been to and the food always tastes great. The burgers kind of remind me of Burger King but more customizable, especially from the mobile app. Nice place to get a blizzard ice cream during the summer or ice cold shake. Be aware though as the line goes out the parking lot during the warm months, so be prepared to wait!

Stopped for a blizzard! First time at this store. There were about 7 cars online at the drive through when I pulled up! The line went fast and I was on my way In a few minutes! Ps it was yummy!

The food was great!! I recommend the Frosted Animal Cookie Blizzard! The service was also great! We ordered our food, And it was served within 5 minutes. There was outdoor seating, so we were able to enjoy the nice weather and eat our food.

Grab several cakes here throughout the year and they always have plenty of different styles available and decorated for many different occasions. You never have to call ahead or place an order (unless you want a personalized decoration) there's plenty in stock anytime you stop by. If it's lunch time I usually grab some chicken strips which are real chicken tenders and pretty good. I'm simple, I like the chocolate milkshakes, and they do a nice job mixing them so they're a little thicker than other places and you can scoop some up with your spoon if you like! Nice staff, very friendly!

Food is as wonderful as I remember when you had to travel upstate for a DQ. Service here is quick and courteous. Atmosphere is friendly. Kids love it. Blizzards are a must during the summer heat. Just hits the spot after a burger... food coma. ;)

Is the grilled cheese still available. Sometimes I'm told yes and sometimes I'm told, no?

Love Dairy Queen! This is a clean, well managed and maintained location. Big fan of the meal deals for my family. My kids (me too), love your Blizzards.

Glad they opened here near us. DQ has some interesting stuff. We like the malts and the Orange Julius is good to. Maybe even better in the hot summer weather. Burgers are good. We will return.

We have always had great customer service here. Ordering on the App has made it much easier, especially right now. I'm actually impressed with whatever system they have in place. The long drive up lines move pretty quick & curbside pick up has been easy too.

The food is good. Typical for fast food, a LITTLE pricey, but it's worth it for the Blizzards. I usually get the grilled chicken. So far, always cooked well and the bun is tasty, too. The only complaint I've found is, when I go through drive-thru, serving speed is fine, but inside I've always had to wait a while to get my food, even though there was hardly anyone inside. The worst part about waiting for food inside is, they IMMEDIATELY make the ice cream . . . Then I've had to wait so long for the food the ice cream is melted. Sure, I can eat first then get back on line to order ice cream, but who wants to wait on line twice? TLDR: Opposite of most places, drive-thru = good experience, dining in = fair.

Blizzard night for the boys. Unfortunately, indoor dinning was closed and drive thru line was long. Moved fairly quickly. Kids were happy with dessert. All good. We like this location.

This store served fresh and hot food. The onion rings seemed to come right out of the fryer. The burger was hot and cheese melted (not like they just added a slice afterwards). We had to wait after going through drive thru, but I would rather that than undercooked or stale food. They did mess up one of the chicken finger orders, but at keast they tasted good.

Pretty decent fast food and ice cream. The workers are friendly and accommodating but on some occasions they "forget to turn something on" like a topping and it's not available. There seems to be a lot of turn over of staff. I wonder if management is responsible for this.....

The food is much better than McDonalds or Burger King. The thick shakes are wonderful and made with real ice cream. Service is very polite and they will bring your food to your table. This was a nice change up from the regular fast food places. Not to mention, a great place for an ice cream cone.

Have visited several times. The workers are so nice but clearly overworked and overwhelmed. Customers end up waiting longer for their orders and management/workers have to throw out Blizzards and ice creams because they were left too long on the counter. Check your order before you leave because I have walked out with missing items. This isn’t the fault of the workers though because they are trying to do multiple things at once as they are understaffed and are always so nice despite the chaos.

My kids enjoy getting blizzards from DQ after we go to Chili's down the road. They taste great, just menu items are expensive for the amount you get. We went through the drive through which is a huge plus in my book.

Got there after 10pm at which point they only took orders via the drive thru. Besides that, ice cream sundae and blizzards we purchased were fine. Easy place to get to since it's right on Jericho Turnpike. Plenty of seating outside. A little bit of wait at the drive thru...but only because many others were also wanting something cool for dessert for the hot night.

This is a pretty clean restaurant with plenty of seating inside and out. It has the typical burger, fires and chicken options as you can see from their menu. There is also a nice sitting area by a fireplace and it was very clean. There is also a frazer area for their cakes illustrated in one of the pictures. Ample parking with a nice covered outdoor sitting area with tables.

Stopped in for a late lunch (2:00pm) - there were maybe 2 or 3 other customers in the building, no one on line, and I was left waiting at the counter so long that I almost walked out. The clerk was very friendly and very apologetic but honestly whatever he was doing with the fireplace should have ranked less priority than a (hungry) paying customer….or perhaps one of the people in the back just staring at me should have taken my order, and this would’ve been a perfect review. The food came out super-fast and my burger was freshly made and delicious. No complaints whatsoever with that. The clerk even walked around asking everyone if their meals were good - thumbs up for the great customer service. I definitely recommend this DQ

Ok this is a nice Dairy Queen a little East of the one in Huntington on Jericho Turnpike servicing Northport and Dix Hills and the adjoining areas of Suffolk County. Drive thru makes ordering easier. Seating outside. Clean facilities with a wheelchair accessible entrance. Plenty of parking. Public Restrooms. Nice Staff. Same menu as all others. We will definitely be going back.

Food is delicious ice cream is amazing, but drive thru staff seemed disinterested in customer service and seemed more like a hangout of staff than a workplace at the window.

It can get expensive if your not ordering the right mealz. All of the hamburgers we got were on the cool side because of all the cold ketchup and cold mustard on them. The blizzards are really good.

Used the drive thru to order blizzards. They were super soft, definitely would not pass the upside down test.

Ordered 2 - 2 piece chicken strips and a pretzel stick and received 1 - 2 piece chicken strip and pretzel. Receipt is correct. Is it that difficult to get a small order correct? Have to get all the way home and then find out. Unreal.

Portions for onion rings and fries are really small. Got a large shake. Seemed more like a medium. Nothing special about the icecream. Don't think I will be visiting anytime soon.

We got blizzards. The ice cream was okay, but at the bottom it's not well mixed. More importantly, the drive thru was super slow, even tho there were two cars.

No in restaurant seating. We ate in the car. Drive-thru got the order wrong. Way too much ketchup and mustard. A single bite and condiments everywhere. Fries could use another minute in the fryer. First visit, should we return order will be very specific. We would have brought it back but the drive-thru line was 8 cars long. Employees were super nice.

First I’ll say the ice cream is really good, top tier 👏 the reason I gave this 3 stars. DQ is one of my go to ice cream spots. But, I have to complain about one thing that’s been constant. MY ONLY complaint with DQ is that y’all can never put enough candy throughout my blizzard 😭 I can’t be the only one with this issue. I’ve been to this location many times and gave you guys the benefit of the doubt….okay maybe next time they’ll put extra….okay okay maybe next next time they’ll put extra….but you guys never do 😭 and I ask for it to be throughly mixed with extra candy & I pay for extra…..but the candy sits at the top 🥴🥴 I asked for a SMALLL Cookie Dough & Oreo Blizzard with extra candy but only had a good 3-4 bites with candy then the rest was vanilla ice cream. Hopefully it gets better man.

Food is as expected, variety in menu was better than some other fast food places, and the kids love the blizzards so that’s all positive. The reason for the 3 stars is as follows, if you can’t get a customers order right they are eventually going to give up on you. I’ve taken my kids here at least a half dozen times since it opened and every visit there has been items either missing or prepared in a way other than requested (for example, ask for a plain burger with cheese, nothing else on it for the kids, and get a burger with no cheese and ketchup). The blizzards are always right, have the kid making the blizzards check the orders, lol. Give them a try though, I’m sure they will work out their kinks, eventually.

This is the better of the fast food choices. But all fast food has taken a turn for the worse. What got the 3 stars are the impeccable service. The employees are really compassionate and speedy.

Had their ice cream, it’s was as cold as they said it would be. It’s really good I will definitely be back here cause their favors are awesome. You also get to add sweets in your ice cream so if you have a sweet tooth this is the places for you. But I don’t know about their food honestly, didn’t try it.

It's a hot 90° out here and summer wouldn't be complete without a hot dog. We visited Dairy Queen today to get a hot dog and onion rings. Two hot dogs plus onion rings were about $12.50. Sauerkraut was not available, but packaged relish was. The relish was terrible. Hot dog with mustard was good. Onion rings were hot and crunchy. This Dairy Queen seems to do a lot of business indoors. Very large parking lot, but surprisingly no trash receptacles! Invisible trash containers seem to be missing everywhere!

Recently I visited this restaurant and ordered their mushroom Swiss burger. Boy was I disappointed. The cheese wasn't melted, the burger was on the cool side and the excessive sauce was overly salty. I've had this burger in the past and it was delicious. The place can be kept a little cleaner and sometimes the wait is just too long. The restaurant has the potential to be so much better.

DONT RECOMEND THIS LOCATION! The employees were just a bunch of kids messing around and messing with each other. I asked for an ice cream and they completely forgot my order, then they made it with sprinkles. Then they threw it away and made the right one. Then they were too busy fooling around to hand me the cone so I had to walk up to the window and pick it up, don't recommend this location do to incompetent teenage staff who fool around in the kitchen.

Weird pricing. I wanted two mini Blizzards and one 1/4-lb Flame Thrower burger with no bacon. They rang it as a combo, meaning that I was given fries I didn't want, saying it was actually cheaper that way. The total, before tax, was $12.88. I was stunned that one burger and two tiny shakes would be so much. And in fact, it was actually 40 cents MORE as the combo (although I guess I got more food). But crazy that one burger and two itty bitty shakes would cost so much. I would have expected it to be more like 8 bucks for something like that. And then they gave me the burger with bacon anyway. The big issue is that such a small shake shouldn't be costing $3.19 each.

We went in for Free Cone Day; it seems sad that we seemed we were far more prepared for it than the restaurant was. They had run out of napkins, dip for the ice cream cones and tops for the cups. However, the food was still tasty, quick and reasonably priced. The poor reputation probably kept the crowds away, so there was a free table for my kids who didn't seem to mind.

Went at 10:20PM on Saturday. Only drive-thru was open. The line went fro Jericho Tpke all the way to the pick up window. Probably the longest wait I have ever experienced. There must be a better way! To the food....5 Blizzards and fries. Blizzards were Fantastic as usual and the fries were hot, crispy and seasoned. The staff was friendly and accommodating and they were quite apologetic for the wait. Really like having this place here but if they can't get this drive-thru thing figured out, I will be forced to explore other options.

I understand that Blizzards with whipped cream may not be flipped, but the one without whipped cream also wasn’t flipped. When I mentioned it, I was told it had been, though it hadn’t. We went to the drive thru. The person taking our order was not friendly and seemed annoyed. We had to pull up and wait for them to bring the order out to us and that person also seemed annoyed. Maybe it was the same person. No smile and no response when we said thank you (very much). The food is not good. The burger patty was frozen and tasted freezer burned. Like the oven baked burgers I used to get in the high school cafeteria. Fries were soggy and unsalted. Blizzard was really good though.

I came here to get the Girl Scout cookie blizzard and even though it was on the menu you don’t have the product any longer. Also the outdoor patio area is absolutely filthy. Looks like it’s been a long while since the tables have been wiped off all the concrete scrub. Bird droppings all over including the tops of the trash containers. Very unsanitary

Its was my first time visiting Dairy Queen. I am sorry to say was not happy. I ordered a burger meal with cheese. I recieved double burger on soggy bun mush together with dried cheese in between two dry patties. Also ordered bbq chicken stripes only wanted chix not meal made ot clear got chicken stripes look like it was someone's old meal with 1/2 ff missing. Was very disappointed.

I was just at Dairy Queen and me my two cousins and my two siblings ordered 4 Oreo blizzards and one chocolate ice cream, the woman came out with 3 Oreo blizzards and one chocolate Oreo blizzard. Like 🤔 any way we told them and it took like 20 minuets to come out with ice cream and it wasn’t even chocolate ice cream... it was a chocolate Oreo blizzard 😂 Well anyway there McFlurries were good 😂👍👌

Their menu changes all the time. I looked on the menu on the website, and when I went to order the reply was always "we no longer serve that" or "we're out of that". Their pretzels and blizzards are great and the only reason I ever even want to go there.

I’m not a fan of the burgers, too much bread in my opinion. I rather get Burger King, but the ice cream is great!! Drive through was super slow as well and my burger was not warm.

Sign on door says lobby open until 10 pm but they lock the doors by 8:30. Just watched an entire little league team and their parents leave cause the doors were locked and drive thru 15 cars deep

I used to visit location about 2 times a month but the past year I have stayed away as the Blizzard is watery like liquid. Gave them another shot this week same issue. A watery liquid Blizzard. Also the woman at the drive thru was unfriendly as she didn't want to scan my phone for the rewards. Bad experience.

i wasnt going to leave a review but like??? first my boyfriends food was slapped into the basket. we ordered the tossed bbq chicken strips and only half his chicken had sauce on it, the rest was slopped onto the box on the right where the chicken was. then they gave him like a small quantity of fries with the dipping sauce on top. like why would someone want that touching their food.. our fries were cold, then on top they gave a frozen fry and whatever that burnt unidentifiable object is. the teens in there gotta do better, this a business

Edit: so I called the location and Jessica the manager hung up on me again. When I called corporate, Nicole and Crystal both hung up on me. The second I mentioned that I was there for my special needs child I was yelled at and got hung up on. I sent in multiple complaints about this location and specificly the manager that has an issue with special needs kids since she still laughed at me. They closed early last night and refused to serve me and the 4 cars behind me. Today the indoor dining was closed. When I called to find out why the manager yelled at me and then laughed at me when I told her I was upset about the service 2 days in a row when I was just trying to get my autistic son ice cream. She also complained to me that she works 13 hours and that I just need to deal with it. Terrible manager I would be embarrassed to have her on my staff.

First time in years I visited a dairy queen. What a disappointment. We were the only ones ordering. The young man at the counter was not welcoming and seemed disinterested. We put in our order with him, but he did not understand the order or know about what they sold. We ordered a medium cones, chocolate and vanilla twist, dipped in chocolate and a strawberry cone. He came back minutes later and told us they don't sell strawberry. Changed to another twist. Our order came out and neither was a twist and mine did not have the chocolate. It took 4 tries to get out cones. If the guy taking an order was new, he shouldn't have worked alone. If he wasn't new, he shouldn't work there at all

While I love the brownie blizzard, if I pay for extra brownie pieces I want to see extra brownie pieces. every time I order extra and pay the upcharge it seems like nothing extra. Sometimes it is almost like there is less than normal in the blizzard. To the staff, if the client is paying for extra whatever please give the customer what they want and expect. It's disappointing and expensive,

They need to either hire more staff, or something. The lobby was packed with people waiting for orders. The employee was clearly flustered organizing the orders and relaying them to the kitchen. Every two seconds he kept saying "bruh" and "I don't know what to do next." At least several people complained about missing items or long waits. Love DQ but this location needs to get it together.

I ordered the Honey BBQ chicken basket. The chicken tasted like generic grocery store chicken tenders, and the sauce was terrible. The "Texas Toast" was quite literally just toast, without any of the garlic or seasonings that make it Texas Toast. The fries were okay, but not crispy at all.

Came in at 9pm to get a sundae with some friends. I ordered before the friends. Didn't notice the other customers were waiting 10+ minutes for orders until it was too late. There was an ice cream that sat on one of their windows for 5+ minutes, that eventually got noticed after everyone else got their ice cream. By the time it reached my hands, it was already soupy and disheveled. Please give another set of hands to the team so this doesn't happen again.

Drive thru is thee slowest ever. Every time. I've done it four times and there won't be a fifth! The quickest we have managed to get through the drive through with only 5 other cars mind you was 20 minutes plus.

This place ruined my opinion on buying fast food. I ordered a double burger with swiss combo by the drive thru on my way to work. The fries were undercooked and hard My burger looked more of a meal you heat up in the microwave. The patties were not made well and tasted stale. Im surprised I didnt vomit pduring work cause I felt nauseous for half the night.

Poorly managed, understaffed poorly trained employees the restaurant has no tables that are clean the floor was dirty sticky. There was toilet tissue outside the bathrooms. When we got our food the fries were cold and the hamburgers were cold. Music was very loud. Dairy Queen management should come and take a look at this restaurant before it closes

This place is horrendous. Not to mention the Blizzards are never properly mixed nor do they ever have enough toppings in them. These items are not cheap and shouldn’t be made so poorly.

We got food from drive through, but the person was giving drinks, got our money with gloves then with the same glove touched our drinks caps and food and spoons, instead of changing gloves or they should have somebody just taking care of money, so we wanted to eat outside we drove home and used our home supplies and even drinks and stayed home. It was my son’s birthday, I got so disappointed.

Gave me a hard time over an app coupon. Treated me like I was doing something wrong. I just used the McDonalds app no hassle, thanks for reminding me.

I love Dairy Queen but this is now the second time that I’ve gotten all the way home and realized they forgot to put my hamburger into the bag. That was supposed to be my dinner. Looks like I’m only having French fries for dinner again :(

Me and my friends arrived at at dairly queen at 10:59 pulled in the drive through and was stopped by a worker saying they couldn’t serve us bc it was 11 even thought when we pulled on the premises it was still open and I feel cheated out of a nice refreshing blizzard.

This is the only location where the blizzards only have candy mixed into the very top of the ice cream. Very disappointing- had to throw away almost a whole cup of vanilla on several occasions.

Such a terrible experience. We placed an order for a walk-in pick up. When we got there, we discovered that the dining room is closed and we couldn't walk in to pick up the order. Not only that but the drive through line is backed up all the way on Jericho. To top it all off, there is no way to cancel the order and it is already paid for so we have no choice but to wait. We've been waiting on this line for 45 minutes now and I just pray that at least the food is fresh. I understand that they may be short staffed but they need to keep the dining room open for those who placed an online order, have an option to cancel an order, or at least have people pay when it is picked up so that we have the option of waiting on this ridiculous line.

This is a nice looking and inviting looking restaurant. Unfortunately, looks are deceiving. It is always understaffed and filthy. The inside, if they have staff to open the doors, is gross. They have those fancy Coke machines with the touchscreens. They are so dirty that pressing on them feels like reading braille. There are marks and dents in the walls. Why?! Yet, it has an inviting sitting area. The stores designer has more vision than the owner and/or manager. Sit outside, and the trash cans are bursting at the seams. They are also sticky and dirty. Today's drive-thru order? Among other things, we requested a chocolate Blizzard and got peanut butter; asked for an orange pop, and got Sprite, requested ranch sauce, and got none. I don't know why my wife comes here.

Went on 11/27 3pm and only 1 car ahead of me at the drive thru. I thought the car in front of me was placing a large order because it was taking a long time. When it was my turn the person taking the order told me to hold. Five minutes later she was ready only to find out they were out of burger patties. Instead of saying that they were out of burger patties in the very beginning ended up wasting my time. Ended up going to the Saint James location where they were friendly, took my order right away and had burger patties!

I come here every Friday night around 9:30 in the drive thru and it’s always a 30 min wait for some ice cream. Sometimes I even have to wait 10 min just at the speaker to order with only one car at the window in front of me.

Took 15 minutes to get my burger. Messed up my wife's order 3 times and then she was sick for 3 days. Coincidence?? 😠

I will never go here again. Got rushed to order to only have to wait on the drive through line for 10 minutes for my ice cream. I get my ice cream and it’s melted. The flip test wasn’t preformed due to the ice cream being melted. Very annoyed and very rude staff. Don’t go here. Better off going to baskin robins or friendlys.

Food is so-so but the biggest problem is the drive thru. On busy days you can be looking at up to 5-8mins per car on days such as Friday. So if you are using the mobile app to order and pick up the order it is recommended to pickup inside or curbside pickup. Else you can be practically camping on the drive thru line to pick up your order.

The blizzard was really melted and extremely unlike usual Dairy Queen. Ordered the strawberry cheesecake LARGE and there were about 3 pieces of cheese cake right at the top. The bottom was pure ice cream and it was melting. When I showed the employee, he was really rude about it and said that this is how they do it. Unfortunate - really was one of my favourite ice cream shops.

Ordered hot dog fries and drink for delivery and shake. Hot dog was so hard, I guess from microwaving it. Could hardly bite into it. Fries were similar. This is not the first time I had to throw away my food from there. I took a pic of dog if you need to see it. Also it had cheese and mustard on it. It was barely there. The order cost me $24 with delivery fees. Bad business.

I was here over 2 weeks ago to take my son for some ice cream before he left me for 2 weeks. On what was supposed to be an enjoyable evening turned into just the most stressful time. My cup bottom broke and the entire Blizzard fell in between my console. To make matters worse, literally just got my car cleaned 2 hrs earlier. I contacted the store and the next day I am assuming the manager, Jessica contacted me. I told her I would be more comfortable contacting my dealership due to the fact my car is a lease and going on their recommendation of reimbursement of the earlier wash (which doesn't get the milk product out of the carpet and all the hard to reach areas and track). She said that was fine and to let her know. My dealer took some time getting back and I even turned down the full detail at a cost of $425 and told them it was just the driver side seat. So when they came back at a fraction of the cost I sent it over to Jessica. Mind you I have not heard from her since the day she called and I sent the photos as per her request. I have called, they don't answer when I call but when I block my number someone answers and when I ask for Jessica I get a please hold and then someone comes back and says she isn't here. I am extremely disappointed in DQ's response in this matter. I have been in contact with them but they refuse to contact me back.

Absolute worst experience! Not only waited 20m for a simple two orders of ice cream, at least 10 customers ordered in store n walked out before us. We ask the service girl who seen us waiting n waiting yet looked at us dumbfounded. The manager forget it, had nothing to say. No apologies n no reason as to why we hadn’t received our order. And forget about the amount of cars that went through the drive through. We asked for a refund and they obliged!

I came in with two friends. As we walked in, the cashier was giving someone (the only other customer in the place) their food. As soon as the transaction was completed, he disappeared. Nobody came back to the counter for about 10 minutes. The cashier seemed to have trouble understanding what we were trying to order. There were no lids or straws for the cups, and the soda machine squirted all over my friend when he tried to get a drink. When the food came out, the cashier was totally confused - he kept trying to give us items that none of us ordered. Never again.

At around 215pm I walked in to a virtually EMPTY restaurant. One customer in the front. I hear employees milling about. Saw one guy by the blizzard machine. Not a single employee came to the register. Or made it known that they were aware I was standing there waiting 5 full minutes. FIVE MINUTES. Without any recognition or service. So I left. We got the limited edition brownie batter - idk if they messed up or we just got 4 chunks of brownies and that’s how it’s supposed to be. Was expecting more than 4 chunks of brownies so we kept eating until we reached halfway and realized that we’re just having Vanilla ice cream! Rather just buy the vanilla ice cream than this!

Was pouring rain!!! Went threw the drive-in ordered a Reese's Pieces sundae and to snickerdoodles!!! And end up with 2 pumpkin cookie dough blizzard instead!!! Don't understand!?! And we live far from there!!!
