Small restaurant located in regent's plaza serving up delicious Greek food. I got the gyro plate and the meat was well cooked, rice was well seasoned, and the pita and hummus was great as well. The fries were surprisingly delicious and really well prepared. The falafel combo was also a great way to try a bunch of small dishes and completely vegetarian.
A little pricier than Cava and other spots, but the pita is so so good. It is fresh and fluffy and the perfect textures to go with my plate. The gyro meat is yummy as well as their chicken options
Wow! This place is awesome. I'm only in town for a conference and found this place walking distance from my hotel, so glad I did. I love good Mediterranean food and this place is phenomenal. It's not fancy, which is just fine with me. I chose the build your own bowl and challenged the server to make it for me like he would make it for himself. I told him I like spicy and savory and he did the rest. It's out of this world good. I'll definitely eat here again before I head home! Sorry for no picture, I was too busy enjoying my food.
Visited the restaurant and was absolutely delighted! The food is incredibly delicious, prepared quickly, and the prices are fantastic—great value for money. The place is spotlessly clean, the atmosphere is cozy, and the staff is polite. Everything was perfect, will definitely come back again!
It's small inside so a our group of 4 worked out best on the weekend. The food is worth it
I ordered food online, the hummus plate with falafel, with all the fixings and it was amazing. Plenty of food to feed two adults. And the online order experience was great. We ordered it and the app said it would be twenty minutes until the food was ready, but we were able to get there in ten and the food was already ready for pickup. Admittedly it was a quiet night, as it was raining out, but I was really impressed with their speed. And the food itself was delicious. The hummus was super creamy, the falafel were crispy and flavorful, and the addition of pickled red cabbage and dill pickle was amazingly good with the fresh veg toppings. A vegetarian meal that was super filling and savory.
I come here at least once a week… and have been coming for the last 5 years. As someone who grew up in the Middle East- I love this place so much - the food is great, the service is very fast, the food is always fresh, and it’s always really good no matter what you order. I always go for the rice bowl, salads, pita wrap, hummus bowl or fries bowl. You really can’t go wrong with any combo you order! Highly recommend trying everything on the menu, you won’t regret it!
Delicious Mediterranean food 😋😋😋 lots of options to choose from. Fries with beef and chicken shawarma were amazing. Meet was well seasoned, juicy and tender. Gyro plate was outstanding as well, especially with tzaziki and green goddess sauces. Definitely recommend!!
Did a takeout dinner for four and it was terrific. Large selection of middle Eastern salads, bowls, gyros and sandwiches, etc. Ingredients all really fresh and ability to customize your bowl. Hummus and all else delicious!
Came here for lunch. Super tasty and fresh Mediterranean food. The workers were super helpful and answered all my questions. Edid & Doga were so nice with great customer service. Recommend coming here for a quick a tasty bite.
The line moves super quick, so there's no time to hesitate. I'd definitely recommend looking at the menu before going in. The food was amazing. The pita sandwich with Chipotle hummus was so good. Fully loaded with all the veggies and gyro meat, it's a bit difficult to handle and messy but tastes fantastic. If you're looking for something a little easier to eat, and to use a few less napkins, the wraps are just as awesome. Don't forget the Greek fries. We've tried the at every Mediterranean place we try and they're the best here for sure. A side of the garlic aoli makes it a 12/10 Weve been back and will keep coming back.
As a vegetarian, the presentation of all the fresh food was my #1 sign - this was going to be good, I hoped. Then the friendly people working was another. So yes, my ancient grain salad was full of flavor, great variety & textures. It's my jam 100%. My husband enjoyed the beef w hummus & rice. Both dishes were fantastic! Highly recommended...AZ?! Healthy options are always welcome!
I liked this place. It’s casual eatery with some indoor and outdoor tables. The food is delicious. Rich flavors. Wide variety of healthy toppings. Pickles are my favorite yummy. I like the falafel. It’s fresh and well cooked. The bread is fresh made in the restaurant. They have wide variety of hummus. Also many sides options like grapes leaves, babaghanoush, grilled veggies. Overall I like it and I will be back.
Good food, good service, what more could you ask for? The chicken kabob was flavorful and they were very generous with the toppings. Paid about $15 for the pita wrap and it was huge, I couldn't finish it all but sure wanted to.
I've been meaning to leave this place a good review ever since my first meal, but I've been back several times over the past year and they seriously never disappoint. The salads may seem over priced at around $12 or so, but they PACK IT ON and absolutely make it worth every penny. The photo I included here is the Greek salad I got today with chicken shawarma on top and this will serve as two meals for me. The other plates for lunch are also killer, their food is high quality and service is amazing. I've also noticed the staff is very nice to customers as well as each other, something that's important to me - don't like supporting places that seem to have a toxic work environment. They're quick, efficient, and very friendly people. Overall 5/5 stars and will keep on coming back routinely for my lunches! Love this place!
Clean, popular pita shop with really tender and flavorful chicken kabobs. The ingredients are fresh and we especially like their garlic aioli sauce. The online order interface is easy to use and shows you all the possible choices.
I went in with curiosity and I left obsessed. Came here and created a bowl and it was absolutely delicious. The staff was kind, hardworking and helpful. Food was 10/10. Definitely coming back and bringing friends!
LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING!! This is by far my favorite place to get a salad in San Diego. I'm specifically talking about their Greek salad, but there's a catch. Ask for the Greek salad with no pita chips and add chicken shawarma. It's life changing. I'd eat it everyday if you let me. If you don't like it, I have failed you.
Love ordering delivery from Micheline’s Pita House! The Pita Sandwiches and Rice Bowls are delicious, some of the best Mediterranean in the area! The chicken and steak Schwarma are really great. Highly recommend ordering from them or visiting in person!

Such a fantastic meal I am so surprised we are just discovering it now. Delicious gyro meal 😋😋

This place is so GREAT. Yes, there’s a great burger and pizza place a door to the right and left but in-comparison, the freshness, wholesomeness, and cultural authenticity of the food served here stands above the rest ~ IMHO. My recommendation is the Hummus bowl with falafel (no meat, but their chicken is good too), tzatziki sauce and only the classic hummus (no other hummuses) and be sure to ask for some pepperoncini peppers on top (it’s served with some pita bread slices). It’s divine.
The food is so sooo good I’ve been eating it for a week in row!! I’d eat here everyday if I could, definitely one of my favorite spots to eat. 🤤

An authentic Mediterranean cafe close by UCSD that serves warm, fresh pita bread and house-made hummus. Really hit the spot after a long day of work. Easy ordering, but there's lots to choose from: chicken Schwarma, beef kabob, beef gyro, steak schwarma, or falafel that you can put in a pitch sandwich, wrap, rice bowl, fry bowl, or salad. Options available for the vegan and vegetarians! I got the steak schwarma in a rice bowl, and they assemble it "your way" down a counter of toppings. Efficient deli-express like service. The food was delicious, flavorful and i scarfed down the hummus and pita lol. Would recommend as a place to eat after work or school. The price point is going to be around $16 but one bowl fed me and my boyfriend. The parking lot is also paid, but they validate for an hour free.
7/2/25 Get in line to the left back of the store, order what you want, what protein, veggies, sauces, then bring it to the register to the right. Make sure to ask to validate your parking with the machine next to the register. The bathroom is nextdoor down a long hallway. There was seating inside and outside. Casual joint with fresh ingredients. A little hard to hear. What would work better is if at check out they would offer parking validation. I've been there before and no one has asked me.
Let's just get right down to why people go here. People go here you eat. The food was nicely prepared. I was impressed by the portion sizes and the quality of the food (5).I recommend getting the plate with the 3 staff members knew the menu and combos to make your taste buds go wow. The chipotle aioli is over the top, I asked for seconds. The food ingredients were fresh! The customers streamed the establishment like a new Netflix show.
The food was good! I liked their Falafel on Pita bread! The bread was good and their vegetables were fresh. I liked their sauces and the price was reasonable. The menu may be a little confusing but you can figure it out if you ask them to explain. The fries was OK, but not as good! A good Middle Eastern fast food!

What happened to their hummus bowl? Don't call me this a hummus bowl lol their portion dropped dramatically and now they just fill with some rices and beans. Truly disappointed.
The combo plate I got with the chicken kabob was weirdly cold and the Fries seemed to have been half fried, just seems that they can be inconsistent with how their food is prepared as it usually is delicious
The rice and chicken schwarma were cold and very bland. Adding sauce didn’t really help add to it at all. Very disappointing got a $20 plate of food.
This place really went downhill sometime in the last few months. The portions got way smaller, especially the hummus bowl, which is like 40% smaller. The babaganoush has a weird, gross consistency now. Won't be ordering anymore.
The Food was amazing, but subpar service. I was trying to figure out what sauces were Dairy Free, but the person working there was being rude about it and not offering clear responses. If someone comes in with an allergy, there should be clear expectations to respect the customer.
The salads, sauces, babaganush were sour, like really sour. Giving 3 stars for falafel, freshly baked pita bread and chicken. This review is coming from two really hungry people( me and my husband), lol, when you are hungry it is a saying everything tastes good, but here it was sour. Haha. Still if you don't find a place to eat after 2 pm you can grab a quick bite here.

Bad 1st time experience, rude service. We ordered 3 entrees online 9am for pickup at 11. Got there at 11:01 standing at Pickup sign, no one asked why I was there. After a few minutes, I had to tell them I have pickup order at 11am. The girl gave me an attitude saying I need to wait, they're preparing it. Seriously? 4 people who did walk-in got their food and left already, then they started putting my order in the to-go boxes. Finally got my food at 11:11am. This is not an issue with the workers in their kitchen, it's a management/receptionist issue. Too bad food was good but not coming back though.
Tasteless-low quality-overpriced food! Literally no flavor whatsoever!!! Plus they messed up my order, but at least their service is friendly. Not worth it though!
Barely serviceable meal and really rude service. Ordered the gyro pita. Pita bread was cold, stale and hard. Barely any gyro meat and not at all what a gyro (lamb, beef) pita usually tastes like. But worst of all was the service with the guy making the food - rude and attitude from the beginning like he’s doing you a favor and condescending when I couldn’t figure out their highly convoluted menu - will not return.

Used to be my go to, five stars then. But they switched to STORE BOUGHT PITA. Dense, dead, flavorless store bought pita. Just look at how pathetic this picture looks. They just heat it in the same oven to fool people. I've been eating here for 3, 4 years so I know for a fact that these are no longer the fluffy, chewy, freshly baked things I loved. Just look at my picture, now look at the old pictures uploaded by the restaurant +2 years ago. The difference is night and day. Serious decline in quality.
It's important to note that the individuals preparing the food did not turn on the machine to wrap the steak. Instead, they cut the beef from the roller and dropped it onto the grill. Additionally, they used oil from the fryer rather than fresh oil. Based on these observations, I strongly advise against eating at this establishment for the sake of your health. Furthermore, I have attached a picture which clearly depicts these issues.
The beef kebab was frozen. I watched them get it out of the freezer and reheat it on the grill. The hummus was bad. The pita is store bought. They spent 20 minutes reheating a frozen piece of meat on the grill. This place used to be good, but the new owners are cheap and serve bad food. They assume that customers are stupid enough to ignore it.
One of the most authentic middle eastern food spots in SD , I'm Israeli I would know.. came back they where so stingy with the toppings ! harged me extra for a little extra hummus didnt even give me a whole side ! im really dissapointed it was a 5 star for me before this experience
