A sweetly decorated tea room on the main drag in la mesa. Went for a friend's birthday. Many delicious flavors of tea served in beautiful tea cups and tea pots. The savory's and pastries were delightful and beautifully displayed. The staff was helpful and kind. We quite enjoyed ourselves.

An absolutely adorable spot. I loved this experience so much. The teas are varied and understandably delicious, and each item on the snack tray was made with obvious care and high quality ingredients and it filled me up for the most part. The pumpkin scone with the butter was insanely good. This place does require reservations, so it is perfect for something like a birthday lunch date.

Have been here a couple times before and was impressed yet again. Very organized and cute setting. The food was so yummy! Portion size always appears small but you feel so full after! Their house tea is one of my favorites. I want to try going more often to try the different seasonal items.

This is a beautiful place to have a tea time. The entire place is decorated to fit a tea time and even the staff wear appropriate attire for the occasion. For this occasion, it was my girlfriend's birthday and the table had a special note for the special occasion which was a nice touch. Everything on the table was beautifully placed and looked very nice. There are different options available when booking your tea time and reservations are highly recommended here because it does fill up quickly. Our plan came with a soup and a multi-tier tray of food. It was a mixture of sandwiches, fruit, and sweets. All of the food was great especially the soup and the little beget that comes with it. The soup was a creamy leek soup. Extremely delicious. A huge selection of different teas are available to choose from and we had the house blend which I would highly recommend it. It was fabulous.

This place is fantastic! this is my 2nd visit first time with my sister this time with both of my sisters A lovely way to spend a day. The Savories delicious ,sweet sweets and the Teas fab u lous! The creamy Asparagus Soup is to die for keep in mind it is what's in season..Back again this time a Birthday for a friend again AMAZINGLY WONDERFUL Day Everyone is so friendly and the service is great and this time the Carrot Thyme soup was the Star!

We held our wedding reception at AubreyRose Tea Room, and it was absolutely perfect in every way. When I first started wedding planning, I had no idea they could do wedding receptions — and I’m so glad I reached out to ask, because it turned out to be the best decision. From the very first conversation, the owners (Missy and Heather) were incredible to work with. Their communication throughout the entire planning process was thoughtful, responsive, and reassuring. They welcomed us in to visit the space, patiently answered all of our questions, and walked us through layout options, menu accommodations, floral arrangements, music, and the overall flow. At every step, we felt heard and supported in what we wanted for our reception. One of the biggest surprises (and reliefs) was how reasonably priced AubreyRose was compared to other venues and vendors we considered. So much was already included — tables, chairs, décor, place settings, staff, music, florals, and day-of tea and food service — which meant we didn’t have to coordinate or pay for a long list of outside vendors. Aside from a few signs, a card basket, and favors, everything else we needed was provided, and it made planning feel calm and easy instead of overwhelming. On the day of the reception, everything ran seamlessly. The service was attentive and warm, the food was delicious, and the space was set up beautifully — intimate, elegant, and full of charm. Our guests absolutely loved the experience, especially the tea service. Many had never been to a tea room before and were delighted by how unique and special it felt, and we received so many compliments on both the service and the overall atmosphere. As the newlyweds, we so appreciated feeling like we could actually relax and enjoy our celebration with our family and friends. AubreyRose Tea Room is truly a hidden gem for couples looking for a unique, welcoming, and thoughtfully run wedding reception venue. If you’re hoping for a beautiful, stress-free experience with incredible value and heart behind it, I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Scheduled an afternoon tea to celebrate my best friends birthday. We were a little frazzled because we didn’t know La mesa changed the parking lot to paid parking and we didn’t bring coins so we had to find street parking. If you know a tea lover i highly recommend having them come here for afternoon tea! The place was decorated brightly and they offer different hats if you’d like to wear them during tea time. Plenty of cute tea cups and all items needed for tea time for purchase. Our waitress was great, highly knowledgeable in the tea opens and great with suggestions. She stayed on top of keeping our teapots filled and moving us through the courses. I will definitely be back to try more teas and for the delicious accompaniments with the tea. I highly recommend the almond tea and loved all of the savory options.

ArbouryRose is a really cool spot if you’re into a classic tea experience. The place has an old-school, vintage vibe with fancy china and a cozy setup that makes it feel pretty unique. Good finger sandwiches, tasty scones, and some nice pastries to go along with a big selection of teas. It’s a nice place to relax, especially if you’re looking for something different from the usual coffee shop or bar scene. Definitely worth checking out if you’re into tea or just want a laid-back spot to hang out.

It’s so difficult to describe how amazing this experience was. The food and desserts were so delicious. Please give the eggplant and red pepper soup a try, you won’t regret it. The tea selection was so good that I bought some to take home. I recommend Strawberry Fields and Paris, they’re definitely a must try. The tea room also has hats prepared for you to try on to enhance your experience. Overall, I can’t wait to come back again. This would be a really great gift to someone who enjoys drinking tea and feeling like a princess/queen.

This place exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere, decorations, dishes were beautiful. The tea was some of the best tea I have ever tasted. Aubrey Rose and Peaches and Cream were to die for. The tower of goodies were all delicious as well. The service was 10/10!! It was worth the price. Thank you for an amazing experience I will be back :)

We took my daughter to the AubreyRose Tea Room last weekend. She had always wanted to go to "fancy English tea" and the entire experience was amazing. There was potato leek soup, a variety of savory and sweet small bites, and unlimited tea pots. They even have fancy hats you can wear. Everyone was very nice and not snooty at all. We will definitely be back.

Went for my best friend's birthday. Wonderful atmosphere. Our server was also very attentive even with how busy they were as this place is open limited days so they are bustling; especially with parties. The servers also don't use pens and pads or anything past their own memory so hats off to them. I could never. We started off with tea, the house blend. Very nice but then I moved to their peaches and cream blend and I swear if you like the quaker oats peaches and cream oatmeal packets you will LOVE this tea. Especially when you add cream and sugar to it. I also had a tea that tasted exactly like an Almond Joy... and it was pleasant. I actually hate coconut as a flavor, but it wasn't overpowering. It was chocolaty and tropical and very nice. I also had an earl grey that I cannot recall I think it had "blue" in the name it was also wonderful. Our starter was a cantaloupe soup that was cold and so so nice. I hate cantaloupe but it was perfect especially since the day was warm. It also came with a tea sandwich that was delicious too. Our tea tower had savory sandwiches on the bottom, scones, curd and cream in the middle and petite desserts on top. My favorites were the cucumber sandwich and the crusty bread with green beans and cheese on it. The scone was very flavorful and they have a wonderful lemon curd! Very bright and tart. Lastly I did enjoy the shortbread cookie with the peanut butter frosting on it. I will say since it was a tea, it's all small portions so if you have a Big appetite you will be hungry very soon after, but if you fill up on the unlimited tea you'll be alright. :) Will visit here again!

Love love LOVE this beautiful tea room. The tea selection is absolutely amazing. Start off with their signature Aubrey Rose blend; delightfully refreshing and fruity💚. Their food is WONDERFUL and unlimited tea selection for the high tea options. It's a great place to celebrate something special, even if it's just celebrating a beautiful San Diego day.

Celebrated our daughters 5th birthday here, and to add-it was our first ever experience to have some afternoon tea together with our invited guests. I must say it was the most pleasant experience I have had from beginning till the end! Tea was delicious as well as the course that were served, staffs were very helpful, hands on, very polite, sweet, and just AMAZING! Renda, who is our server was BEYOND AMAZING! Our guest was so pleased with the place, staff, and the ambience. After my daughters par-tea I was able to have a little more time to drink some tea, relax, and just enjoy some unwinding; LOVED IT! I just can’t say much more pleasing review about our experience, but rather I HIGHLY suggest the AUBREY ROSE TEA ROOM! I, together with my kids and maybe with my fellow friends and family will definitely be returning! Thank you for the best experience!

My mom and I had the best time having tea at the AubreyRose Tea Room! The ambiance is very classy and is well decorated! It is exactly what you’d want for a tea experience. The food was delicious and the tea was yummy too! There were plenty of options- and we had fun trying all different kinds! I often gravitate towards black teas and we Ioved the Paris tea and the AubreyRose tea. This is the perfect location for kids and adults, and for all different occasions. I would highly recommend! And I plan to go back and continue to share this experience with others!

Small location, very proper on high tea. Street parking with meters or a free municipal parking lot at 3rd off lemon ave. Different tea flavors, sandwiches, light fate, savory and sweet 😋 snacks. Soup was cream of broccoli, very tasty.
