De los mejores guanchinches de Tenerife. El personal es muy amable, las vistas son preciosas y la comedia está buenísima. Tiene aparcamiento, pero se llena mucho así que recomendable ir temprano.

Excelente sitio para comer comida autentica. El bichillo a la brasa espectacular. Las croquetas muy ricas y la ropa vieja muy recomendable. La camarera hizo mejor la experiencia. Muy buen calidad-precio Volveremos seguro.

Really great food and really cheap as well. Although for a tourist the experience might not be as embracing and whole as it could be for a Spanish speaking, we managed to have a great time and I really recommend this place! The restaurant at the end of the village is where you can see some chickens walking around between the tables. The food was delicious but the portion was huuuuuuuuge, we could eat one bistec for two people. You can eat some sin gluten dishes. White wine is the best wine we have ever drunk, sauce mojo verde was delicious but unfortunately, you can only buy wine to take away. The sauce is freshly made without conservatives so it should be consumed within 1-2 days of making it. The price for 1/2 l of wine is 3€ and for 1 litre 6€ (for takeaway). Highly recommend it.

Delicious local food at a good price. Friendly service and a view of the entire Orotava valley. Only getting there is quite difficult, because at the end there is a narrow road. It's also a nice idea for a trip on electric bikes from Puerto de la Cruz.

Location is rustic and hard to find without a local alerting you to this hidden gem. The food selection is small but absolutely delicious! Try the chorizo and eggs with potatoes, or the enormous grilled chop. The wine is either red or white and is made by the owners. Try it with a bit of SevenUp, and it'll taste very much like a sangria. There's a pan seared fresh cheese, cut into bite size pieces and topped with half red mojo and the other half is green. Too good to miss.

Excellent restaurant ! The quality of meat and the cooking are exceptional ! I am surprised by the bad impressions of other users . This is true that the restaurant is busy but it is normal that good place should be busy. That is why servers do not have much time for you. But this does not worsen your experience. Great restaurant, great food, great servers working very hard . We stayed an extra day in the region just to come back there again .

Auténtico guachinche en el que sirven una breve carta con comida canaria y vino local. No sirven cerveza. El bichillo delicioso!! 🍖Llegar no es cómodo y aparcar aún menos. Aunque tiene parking suele estar lleno por lo que conviene ir temprano. Aceptan pago con tarjeta.

Fui dos veces al guachinche cubano. Ambas veces me encontré con que tenían disponible solo la mitad de la carta, lo cual puede frustrar un poco si vas con algo puntual en mente. Más allá de eso, el lugar tiene una vista espectacular y se siente como una experiencia auténtica de la cultura viva de Canarias. La relación calidad-precio está muy bien, ideal para ir sin tantas pretensiones y dejarse llevar por lo que haya disponible en el día.

Muy buen guachinche, relación calidad-precio era genial, unos 13€ por persona y la comida buenísima. Lo único que siento que esta un poco masificado… Había demasiada gente, pero los camareros muy atentos y todo muy bien. Lo mejor fue la carne de bichillo, el arroz congrí y de postre el quesito. Lo recomiendo.

Un lugar un poco escondido al que se accede por una carretera estrecha pero con unas vistas excepcionales mientras comes. La comida muy buena, pidas lo que pidas está bueno. Es una pena que el servicio no esté a la altura, especialmente cuando se llena y se nota que falta personal para servir rápido.

We came here for lunch after a wine tasting nearby. We got there just before lunch so we didn't have to wait. We were served bread immediately as we sat and given the menus. The atmosphere here is brilliant, cosy and very wholesome. Everything was made fresh and tasted delicious. Only critique would be that there weren't many vegetarian options however this wasn't a major issue as we still had delicious options to choose from. Would definitely recommend for anyone who wants home-cooked vibes and to support a small business!

El servicio debería explicar las cantidades aproximadas de las raciones media y entera. Se supone que se puede reservar…pero no responden. Mejorable. Comida aceptable y buen precio. Vistas únicas. Parking amplio al final de un camino estrecho

Tras ver otras reseñas que no hablaban muy bien del sitio, decidimos ir. Lo que pedimos para comer, nos gustó. Nos pareció un poco caro. Nos atendió un camarero que solo lo vimos cuando nos tomó nota y nos trajo los platos...luego en búsqueda y captura...teníamos pensado pedir postre, pero era un milagro dar con el. Mi pareja aprovecho que estaba tomando la comanda en otra mesa, para decirle si nos traía carta de postres...paso olímpicamente de ella. Así que nos levantamos, pagamos y nos fuimos. Mucha gente hizo lo mismo. No repetiré.

Visitamos hoy el guachinche el cubano, al llegar pintaba bien, un gran aparcamiento, el chico que asaba la carne mientras esperamos nos invitó a probar y la verdad un buen detalle que agradecimos. Esperamos un poco y nos pasaron a una mesa, nos sorprendió que limpiaban las mesas cuando se sentaban los nuevos comensales, el 90% de las mesas estaban sucias, y los animales que por allí rondaban como palomas o gallinas aprovechaban la ocasión para comer de los platos tirando platos, cubiertos y mucha comida al suelo, cuando llegamos todas las mesas de nuestro alrededor estaban sucias y tras 2 horas que duró nuestra comida nos hemos ido y seguían sucias… la comida bastante buena y en especial la ropa vieja y la carne, aunque esperamos como 35 minutos de plato a plato, por último, la actitud de los camareros deja mucho que desear, pasaban intentando no mirar para el desorden de su alrededor y a ver si lo recogía el siguiente, nos dio la sensación…

Llamé por la mañana para reservar mesa para dos y me dijeron que no hacia falta reservar que habia mesa, cuando llegamos nos hicieron esperar por la mesa, aunque no mucho rato. Nos trajeron el pan y la bebida, al rato nos cogieron la comanda y ya tardaron como 20 minutos o mas en traernos el queso asado, despues otros 20 minutos mas para 4 croquetas (ambos estaban super grasientos). En traernos los platos principales (pollo a la brasa y entrecot con papas arrugadas y fritas) tardaron literalmente una hora. Cuando por fin llegó la comida, el pollo estaba quemado, y el entrecot no se podía ni masticar de lo duro que estaba, parecía que me estaba comiendo una chola, horrible. Habia visto en redes sociales que el sitio era bueno, pero nada que ver, no repetiré.

This guachinche has been the worst experience in Tenerife! The road to get is impossible, definitely doesn’t worth it to go there. We have spent 15 minutes waiting to get a sit, but after that, one hour for someone to come and take the command! And because we went to ask two times. People who entered before us already had their diches, others with us, waiting for an hour with unhappy faces. After one hour, they come just to tell you that they don’t have anymore most of the dishes (in our case only 1 out of 4 dishes was available). So you ask for what they have. It takes another half of hour to bring you the food, which is not very well prepared and cold. Moreover, the price is crazily high for what they serve and how they serve and you have to pay for the bread! Horrible… not recommended at all! The city is full of other great guachinches.

Initially, we waited for our table for over half an hour, despite several unoccupied tables being available, albeit with dirty dishes. After finally being seated, we endured another 30-minute wait to place our order, followed by an additional 20-minute wait for our food. The experience didn't improve as the meal arrived: dirty plates, forgotten utensils, stale and rock-hard bread, chewy steak, and tasteless, slightly undercooked chicken. The only saving grace were the croquettes. Furthermore, the absence of a menu made it impossible to verify prices, and our suspicion was heightened when the bill, handwritten, seemed to exceed expectations. Never again.
