Outdoor seating by the water. An excellent place to watch the sunset. There's a playground for the kids.
Great Food & Fun, Just Be Ready for a Wait! We had a good time at Cocos el Terraplen! The food was delicious, and the kids absolutely loved the playground, which kept them entertained. The only downside was the service, which took quite a while. We understood it was busy, but it did feel slower than necessary. However, the staff was very friendly and apologetic about the wait, which we appreciated. Overall, despite the slower service, we had a good time and enjoyed our visit. It's a great spot for families, especially with the playground!
The location is right off the Malecon. Has plenty of outdoor seating with a great view of the ocean. Most items are fruit based and/or drinks. Can be easily prepared vegan if requested. Flavors are fresh and exciting. Definitely a must visit for tourists.
Such a great place to get some fresh chopped fruit and mariscos right off the ocean with a big playground for the kid to run off some energy at. Watch the sunset with a coconut in your hand or grab a fruit cocktail to wind down the evening

We drove by this place several times while on vacation and the parking lot was always very busy! We finally decided to stop and I’m so glad that we did! The employees were so friendly and welcoming, helping us to make our drink selections. We ordered a horchata and a limonada con frutas - both were incredible, but the horchata was one of the best drinks I’ve ever tasted (highly recommend trying it out if you enjoy coconut)! To top it off, the restaurant has one of the best sunset views around! Make the stop and check them out!

Nice services and delicious well made food. Where more locals hang out instead of the touristy central of the melacon and pricy. Right next to the water. Many people stop by to get togo food or smoothie 😋 definitely will be back
The beach= fresh coconuts This is a traditional place in La Paz where you can sit and enjoy the sunset while drinking and eating a coconut, but for those who have different cravings they serve mangos, watermelon and jicama. Fruit is really fresh, nice place to spend the afternoon.
Had a great pina at terraplen. Not sure if it’s one restaurant or two. Lots of pigeons around and they are “friendly”.
We went here for an early afternoon snack. I got the simple mango and the tosti pineapple. The latter was a little weird but I enjoyed it anyway. It's right by the water so it was very pleasant.
Wasn't sure what to expect, but we were pleasantly surprised. At 9 am, this place was empty, but I bet it gets much busier in the afternoon and evening. Fresh and unusual fruit dishes were delicious and large enough to share. We ordered one plate per person and it was way too much. Service was lacking but not a distraction from the overall experience. Can't beat the location. Definitely worth a try if you're in the neighborhood.

Great cocos and friendly service. Outhouse restrooms were very dirty. Parking was full so a wait for a spot in the lot was required.
This is definitely a local place. The coconut that was shocked for us had many pieces of the shell. The coconut and it's water tasted a bit old. The service was average. The gentleman cutting and opening the coconuts seemed upset. There is plenty free parking. Nice views. It's a very chill place to be at. They sell many snack dishes with pineapple and coconut, some even include seafood. Beer is also available for the adults.
Nice little restaurant on the water. I had what they call a crazy pineapple which was half a pineapple filled with all kinds of fruits and nuts. They offered many different fruit dish options and it was pretty cool. I’ve never been to a place like this. It was very good. I also had a breakfast which in my opinion wasn’t to my liking.
No venden alcohol! Bring your own alcohol , they dont sell any there I was so dissappointed..
We order and as we are waiting we see this guy finish his cigarette break and go straight into prepping the coconuts 😩 didn’t wash his hands. Obviously made me alert, the girl with the lighter orange hair rubs her nose a few times wipes her mouth and grabs my coconut to bring to the table. Then the girl with the burgundy hair bites her nails as she attends the table next to us. We decided to head out, as my husband pays with a $500 we get change for $400!? Like what? Then she acted like she didn’t notice and gives us back the extra $100 in change. Bummer we really wanted to try it.
My experience was not good. I heard all the great praises about this place to get a fresh cold coconut cut and where you can drink it from a straw. They brought a very old coconut it was really nasty tasting, the meat inside was hard as a rock. Really shouldn't have been served. The water tasted like old flavor. Chairs VERY uncomfortable. Just not a good experience.
