Restaurante Samael

I am so glad we came here. It is a pretty restaurant with lots of seating. It has a covered patio to wait for an available table. Great waiters. They have a large number of selections and their food is delicious. Their prices are very good. We highly recommend this place.

The breakfast here is great. I have been here many times and the food, service and friendly staff are consistently excellent.

Only reason I didn't give five stars is Samael is a little out of the way. I came accross it by accident. Had lunch a nice clubhouse sandwich and a cup of coffee. Both coffee and sandwich were really good. Very good service. Only 150 peso for the clubhouse and 55 peso for coffee including refill. Very nice indoor and outdoor spaces. Good for gatherings of six or more people as well.

Samael's offers tasty mexican food at average prices. I often have the tortilla soup which was $70 pesos for a large bowl and delicious. Other dishes like enchiladas suizas are around $120 pesos for a plate of four. Portions are generous! Seating is wide open with no booths or separations between tables. Chairs aren't the most comfortable but the furniture is clean and in good repair. I have only been there for lunch when it wasn't too busy. Service is prompt and friendly. Not sure if many staff speak English.

This place sucked.. food way over rated. We took a long, expensive taxi ride to get there and we were really disappointed. The waiters were nice though.

I ate here and the food was not to my liking. I ordered and ham omelette enchiladas and chilaquiles and pancakes and chilaquiles with red sauce. The chilaquiles where not to my liking the tortilla was soggy and the sauce had no interesting flavor. The enchiladas where so so why i aske for chiken enchiadas ...it had chiken but not how they should e prepared anywho service was amso a problem and well i would not recomend or ever go back.
