My brother and I hear went for lunch before we went to the observatory down the street to see a show. We had a Reuben sandwich with pastrami and potato salad. The sandwich we got was from one and it said the both of us the potato salad was a pound. And we had two drinks. The staff was very friendly the food was excellent. I highly recommend checking these sandwich shop out.
Few years back.. we have been here. And the taste is still the same Yummy Savory food 😀 Ive been tasting open face brisket beef in california (North to central to south) ... And if you are like me --- who looks for tasteful & Savory food. Then this is for you.. This is the BEST of california. So everytime we are in the area (even driving 4 hours) -- we stop by here. My mother in law, husband and I - love the open face brisket. My father in law - loves the pastrami.. 😀 All good food
First time here! Came in this afternoon around 11:30am. No wait. Fast service! I was checking out the menu and was greeted promptly. I didn't get the cashiers name, but she was very friendly, kind and informative. I was torn between the brisket and pastrami. I chose the half pastrami on a French roll with melted swiss cheese. The sandwich was well priced for the amount of food I received. I ordered the half, but it for sure looked like a full. So maybe the full is even larger? Overall great sandwich! I'll definitely be back! I left wanting more! Very tasteful and savory!
Best New York Cornbeef and pastrami in the area. Pilled high on rye. Delicious 😋
Took a chance and didn't regret it. Ordered a half meatball sub and It was like Tommy's Nona was in the back making gravy all day waiting for me. Loved the bread too. A little Taste of the East Coast Italian food I had growing up.
Love this place!! I always get a pastrami sandwich, I love the mustard and i like to stack at high. My wife gets the cheesesteak sandwich every time we come, this place is great. In Southern California in my opinion there are a handful of delis that do a really good pastrami sandwich in this place is in the top five for me. The owner is a super cool guy, his ex-wife is super nice and the rest of the staff that’s been there a long time is very friendly. I wish they had a better selection of chips, I like to eat potato chips with my sandwich and they offer these really nasty potato chips, sometimes I’ll bring me a bag of Doritos or even some Sour cream and onion. Bottom line this place is great if you’ve never been here I highly recommend you give it a try.
I’ve been on a New York in OC journey the past few weeks. You can’t crave NY and not have Pastrami. It’s not Katz Deli where you can stroll in after a night of bar hopping and devour a whole sandwich on your own, but it’s a pretty darn good sandwich for lunch on a beautiful sunny day in SoCal. Really unassuming location. Quiet with lots of parking. Lots of seating indoors and outdoors. Service was great. And the food was delicious. We got the Hot Pastrami, Matzoball in soup broth, knish, and a black and white cookie. The pastrami sandwich hit the spot. Even the rye bread alone was tasty. The knish was flavorful. The matzo ball needed a touch more flavor but it was still good because it felt like a warm hug.
Wow.. My Philly steak sandwich was so delicious 😋.. and the pickle is nice and crunchy..they have varieties of items to choose from.. will be back for another..
Whenever I'm in the Costa Mesa area, I make sure to visit this little gem of a New York Deli experience in California! The Pizza Pastrami is my FAVORITE. True authentic NY tasting food. UPDATE! As usual, I visited Tommy's today.. bought a couple FULL Philly Steak sandwiches and performed my $1/$2 trick to the man himself (Tommy). I had to update my review with the placard history and inspiration behind this well run franchise! Enjoy!
Tommy Pastrami is one of our favorite delis. The quality of the crisp rye bread and the perfectly smoked pastrami and corn beef is delicious. My husband is from Chicago and I’m from Pennsylvania and we both have our deli tastes and Tommy Pastrami new your style matches both of our tastes. The chicken soup and matzoh ball is delicious. The staff is create with friendly, fast service. We have it delivered to our home and it’s fast service and packaged well. I’d add more pictures but we ate too fast 😍

Excellent food and customer service. Remember to sign up for rewards program to get free NY sandwich. I have had the hot pastrami, the "Sloppy T" with pastrami and corned beef (its a tasty mix of meat. Cole slaw and mustard), and the cold turkey sandwich. Lots of tasty meat in them all. I have also had the lunch specials, both the dual Sabbrett hot dogs and the Angus cheeseburger...awesome deal includes drink.
Got matzo ball soups to go. They were excellent! The service was very good too! Highly recommend Tommy Pastrami.
This is the best pastrami around! Tommy works there every day, he's friendly, funny and always happy to tell his story. Ingredients that need to come from New York, come from New York! Tommy is animate about that and even though it costs more, that doesn't seem to pass down to the consumer. I make excuses to drive anywhere near the place so I can justify dropping in! STRONGLY recommend doesn't begin to scratch the surface!
Excellent Full Philly Cheesesteak with no Mushrooms and no Onions add Extra Cheese. Great Greek Salad. Excellent New York Cheesecake. Best meal I've had here yet. Will be back.
Always delicious! This place has bottles of deli mustard on every table for you to add to taste. Their chili is phenomenal; it is a meal in it self. Typical meal for me is: roast beef halfer on wry-bread + dill pickle + side of chili or soup + drink. It puts you out about $12, but it is well worth it.
Always a hit. Food is Phenomenal every time. Our fav is the Pastrami and the Matzoball soup. Dont forget a slice of cheesecake made by the owners and the BEST potatoe salad in OCT. These folks are kind of in a hard place to get too, but make the trip or take it home. Either way, go TODAY. A real touch of New York in every visit!
Their italian cold cuts sandwich is delicious!
First time visit. Definitely NY style deli sandwich. Delicious rye bread, large dill pickle, mustard, and tender, lean, pastrami 8 ounces piled high. My husband and I shared it. Will return in the future for sure.
I feel like I have never had real tomato soup before. I was just grabbing a quick bite today and didn't expect much. I was blown away by the friendly and fast service. The food was stellar.
I ordered a lunch combo containing 2 sliders, a cup of chicken soup, and a drink. The sliders were so tasty and did not soak the buns. The brisket slider came with the best tasting au jus ever. The pastrami was just as perfect. Even the buns we're exceptional. And now for the soup. The flavor was the absolute best. I never have tasted homemade soup like this in the OC or the valley. Family owned who take pride in their business. Will definitely be returning.
So help me God and so long as I live in OC, I'll never go anywhere else for a Philly Cheesesteak ever again. They pretty much changed my life after today. Thanks guys. 🙏🏽
If you love a sandwich that you eat there and your leftovers are more than what you ate there your going to love this place, the authentic flavor of their meats are to die for. Hopefully at your visit the owner is there he makes you feel like you're at home. Nice guy.
Sandwich was divine. They have the best rye bread in the OC. The inside of the restaurant can use some love. Walking in to find most of the chairs already put up on tables when they don't close for an hour felt unwelcoming. I thought it was a one time thing but went back a different day and found the same thing. But the food is excellent and the staff was welcoming so ignore any chairs on tables.
Soup delivery: I was running late for work and Chicken Soup for delivery. It came with homemade fresh bread and I'm so delighted. It's never a bad meal here. It's never even mediocre. The food is amazing.
Delicious comforting matzo ball soup. Very friendly and efficient service. Will return
I drove by this place and seen the sign New York style pastrami being from NY had turn around and go back, Not disappointed at all yes the pastrami sandwich down to the rye bread and pickles tasted like back home, Oh yes they serve Knishes and they also are awesome. I recommend this place if you're a pastrami and Knish lover. Service was awesome also
It's a little specialty deli, no fluff just great food!
Food was great, friendly staff and quick service. Had a half sandwich hot pastrami on rye with swiss. Nothing fancy, generous on the pastrami and good quality. Was satisfied and would absolutely come back for another. No photo cause the sandwich didn't last long enough for one.
Best place to get a pastrami sandwich Update November 2024: They're still going strong. Pastrami on rye is still top shelf. I haven't seen the owner my last couple of visits but the staff does a great job of providing great food and friendly service.
I drove right past this place and decided to turn around and grab a sandwich. Of course, I got the pastrami on rye. It was giant and delicious. I figured I'd have a few bites and save the rest for later, but it was so yummy, I just kept eating it.
Chelsea helped us, her recommendation was the skyscraper with pastrami brisket and provolone. Absolutely delicious!!!!! She so sweet. Their mustard is very tasty and I don't like mustard usually only with my corn dogs. But their mustard is very good!!! We ate outside while oldie music played. Absolutely love it. Can't wait to come back and try a different dish. Yummm. Absolute wonderful customer service with a smile. Amazing. Thank you Chelsea!!
A little pricey but also so good so I guess it's worth it! Their ketchup is great as well. I felt like I was back in NY eating a juicy and delicious burger. I'm not sure if the guy who helped us was the owner or just a worker but he had an accent and recommend our meals. Very good. Check this place out!
Had a great experience at tommy pastrami. Got the skyscraper and chili cheese fries to share with my fiancée and still had left overs to bring home. We sat outside once we got our food Adrian came out and asked if we needed anything he was very friendly and professional. He is the reason we will go back to this location. Overall had a great experience with everyone there.
When to go to the counter look to the right off the main menu. They have a gravy drenched white bread beef brisket with real mashed potatoes hot beef plate. I must say I loved the pastrami until I tried this. This is the true heart attack meal you've been looking for. So amazing I know it will be hard to walk from the pastrami but take my word for it... Can be had with gravy covered fries also, but the mash was FN amazing...I can't wait to go back
Tucked away in a Buisness center, don’t let it fool you. Solid place for a sandwich.
Tomato Soup with a grilled cheese sandwich meal tastes so good! It's very yummy! It has Spinach, tomatoes and it's very thick. Two sizes of soup! I got the large and portion size was just great! Also liked the fact the the owner Tommy himself was there. He and his employees are very nice and efficient!
Always great pastrami. Deli mustard & Dill Pickles are perfect. The people at the counter are friendly and helpful. The place was pretty busy during lunch but the order was ready in 5 min. Tommy wiped down my table himself and later thanked me for eating there. He was making sure everyone was happy. I'm not from New York, but I want to try the black and white cookie next time. My Aunt is from there and tells me how good they are.
Well I moved to LA and then to Orange County September of 1982 from Pennsylvania and since then till now I haven't had New York Deli and Pastrami so authentic I was back in New York I swear don't be thrown off by prices cut all prices in half because you are getting twice as much as the best lunch meat around with all the trimming all I can add is .... I'll be back!
Not since Katz Deli in Manhattan have I tried a Pastrami sandwich this good! The beef is super flavorful and juicy. Get it with the pickle on the side! The owner was also very friendly and cool to talk to. My only regret is I only got the half sandwich and not the full sandwich. Must try!
Haven't been in a while but their pastrami sandwiches are delicious. I'll get the largest size. Years ago I was in a contest where we had to eat a 4lb. sandwich. Besides the sandwiches I love the pickles. Everyone is nice here. The dining room and restroom is clean. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Tommy the owner is also cool.
Delicious Pastrami Sandwich and Ruben, just like back home in NY, whomever says any different is full of it! Also, people who complain about prices don't understand how much real deli meat costs and forget this place puts damn near a pound of meat in these sandwiches. Black and whites from NY, Knish from NY, Sabrett Hot Dogs. The place is a gem! Fuhgeddaboudit! I'll be back for sure!
Omg!! Best pastrami sandwich hands down!! The sandwich on rye bread is packed with meat and the meat is lean. Not full of fat and is cut perfectly so it doesn't fall out of the bread when eating it. It's a bit expensive but completely worth it because each sandwich contains like 5 pounds of meat. Best of all, The owner and staff make you feel like your at an old town delicatessen. You feel like family there.
I was looking to try a new pastrami place and this was it! The food was so delicious they make a lot of everything there. Definitely coming back the staff was so nice and welcoming. I felt a little uncomfortable eatting it really has nothing to do with the restaurant but there was a homeless man that sat a table next to me and stared at me while I was trying to eat. I offered him food and kept say he didn't want it and asked if I had an extra room for him. Just threw me off a bit. But other than that the food was sooo goood!
Great rye bread, top quality pastrami, service was great, Ivan was really hepfull, whenever I can’t go to Langer’s , that’s my new spot!!
This is a great place to eat with a huge menu of delicious items 😋 the staff is friendly and courteous the service is quick. The food is absolutely delicious 😋 I tried the pastrami sandwich on a French roll with an order of steak fries, the pastrami was stacked high and the roll was so fresh and soft, I'm going back tomorrow Friday cuz they serve New England style clam chowder for the soup of the day. Gunna do a half sandwich and a Bowl of there clam chowder I can't wait 😋 Great food good portions & food value😋 Smokey Fred says you gotta try this place Tell them Smokey Fred sent you 😉 Follow me on Instagram at SmokeyFredsays
Who doesn't liked a good pastrami on rye with pickles on the side. Also, the potato salad is yummy
Just as a deli should be. Food is solid, people are great. Brisket sandwich is my fav. Love the pastrami
I love this place. Not only do they have amazing pastrami sandwiches that are better than even Katz's Deli in NY, but they also sell Sabrett's by the pound! The real original Sabretts with the natural casings that snap when you bite into them. So good. You cant even find these in NY anymore. I buy them by the pound and take them back to Reno with me.
I have come here for over a year, and the employees have always been wonderful. Adrian (? I think that’s his name) has always been so nice. He has memorized what I order all the time. It’s quite impressive. They have the best chili I’ve tasted in years. I will soon try more things soon, but everybody else says the food is top-notch and reasonably priced.
I have eaten here many times over the last 10 years and this place is excellent and has maintained this standard consistently. Tommy, the original dude who started this deli, has retired. The "new" owners are not new; they have worked for the company for years! You could spend 18 bucks on some chicken strips from Canes these days or you could head over to Tommy's and get your money's worth!!! Quality is excellent, quantity is huge as in you're probably taking half your food home to enjoy later and the service is fantastic! I have tried the majority of the menu and I have never been disappointed!
The place to go if you are hungry portions are large prices are reasonable and service is great very friendly people and you can tell they love their job. They are full service checking on the clients making sure you are enjoying your time at the deli.
I don't even know where to begin.... I've gone here numerous times and have never had a bad experience. The pastrami is AMAZING! Normally I don't like chili fries (because most places can't make good chili...) but I recommend the chili fries to anyone and everyone I tell about this place. They are fantastic. Had my in-laws go here for a meal and they were going to split a sandwich and fries, they asked them for a plate so they can split it and the people working did it for them, split the sandwich and wrapped them both individually... talk about customer service!
The pastrami Tommy Special was tender and tasty. The brisket sandwich with au jus was absolutely delicious. The matzo ball chicken soup was out of this world. The chicken was tender and flavorful. I will definitely be going back!
Great food at great price. They make sure to tell you about other delicious options. Be sure to ask for the "Radio announcer" when your order is ready!
I’ve never been to a NY deli so don’t think it has the same vib (sunny Cali in a strip mall), but MY GAWD is the food fantastic! Ordered the Turkey club with mayo and mustard and Chili. Sandwich was great and their deli mustard is NY deli worthy! Chili was a very good variant without cumin but still lots of flavor and texture. Highly recommend and worth the short walk from office! Service was very friendly and place is clean and busy.
This is a true deli, sandwiches stacked high with meat, no frills, just good meat. The workers there announced the numbers like they were announcing wrestlers for the next royal rumble. It was an enjoyable experience.
I from New York City, so I had to try this place that was claiming to have food made from home. It didn't have pushy crowds of people or no train station in the area, but the vibe was all good. I had the big 3/4 pastrami sandwich. Taste was great. I will definitely be returning!!!

Pastrami was hard and overcooked. Not very much meat on the sandwich. Potato Kanishes was ok. $30 for one meal and I was not impressed. It was good but not great enough for me to pay that much to go back.

Great choices of deli sandwiches and the usual sides. Ample portions. Friendly staff.
First time here, and they didn't fail to disappoint. I think I made a slight mistake in ordering their 1/2 burger special with pastrami on top. The burger was delicious and a little on the pricey side. Next time I would just order one of their standard pastrami sandwiches. Their sodas are also pretty expensive at nearly $3.00 ... so watch out for that
Saw this place on social media. Was around the area and decided to try it. The pastrami is good without much of the pastrami taste. Is decent, but not the greatest.
Great sandwiches, 10 times better than the hat
Excellent sandwich. The only issue I have with this place is the price. It’s difficult for me to justify spending $15-20 on lunch- a sandwich, chips & drink. Granted, this is a high quality sandwich. You won’t find too much nearby with this great of taste. Togo’s and Subway is in an entirely different class. Can’t compare. Also, great pickles! I will be back- just not too often due to the expensive price.
Food was good. Would have liked more meat on the pastrami, coleslaw was good. Service was great.
Orders came to us fairly fast and the matza ball chicken soup was nice and hot. I got the half sandwich pastrami on rye and the kosher pickles were not very crunchy. The fries that came with my nephew's Reuben were hot and crispy and seasoned just right. We came for lunch on a Saturday and the place was pretty full of patrons.
Tommy was there to greet me. He's very friendly and welcoming. The prices are a bit expensive for me as i have bought pastrami meals for a few dollars less bit, the quality was not as good. The pastrami in New York vs CA is different. The pastrami I've experienced is juicy, thick cut, with lots of fat. It's somewhat hard to chew whereas Tommy's pastrami was cut thin and just about melted in your mouth. The spices were well balanced. There was plenty of meat with great portion. As for the fries, excellent! They're flavorful steak cut fries from fresh potatoes unlike the small cut fries from In-n-out. You do get to add your own condiments as they are on the side as to not make the sandwich soggy. The pickles were nice, fat, fresh, and crisp. Sorry, I just don't care for In-n-out. Tommy Pastrami was a great experience and I'd go back to splurge on a great meal. There are also deals you can get so don't worry about spending all your money. This location may be hard to find. It's located on Sunflower and Harbor in Costa Mesa in the little shopping center on the dorned. Thanks for reading.
The Super Mario Bros. guy (he's short, a little heavy set, has a mustache, and wears a hat) is nice, but he needs to keep his gayness in the closet. I have nothing against the LGBTQ+ community, but I don't need restaurant workers hitting on my when all I just want is lunch. Otherwise, the food is really good.
Stumbled upon this place after eating nearby. Having just moved from NY I was missing some pastrami, so was super interested. In the end, it was a worthwhile experience.m but don’t need to go back. Got the pastrami sandwich. This was really not that special, but the meat was great. It came with essentially nothing except for bread and a pickle, which I was bummed by. Mustard was served on the side which I wouldn’t have expected in NY. Sure, there’s a half pound of meat. But you’re paying an exorbitant price for it. A “large” (which is a very normal size sandwich) and a fountain drink cost $25. It was ready almost immediately which probably speaks to the lack of other ingredients. Service was friendly enough, I didn’t realize it was a chain which took away a little bit. Pretty crowded but plenty of parking and seating (including outdoors).

I ordered a pastrami on rye, grilled. With good pastrami, I expect it to be flavorful, a lityle fatty and when grilled with cheese, a little greasy. This sandwich was none of those. It was probably the most healthy pastrami with cheese on rye, grilled you could find. However, that's not what I craved. The meat, although very tender had absolutely no flavor at all. My bread was only slightly grilled on one side and the other side was just butter, which was tepid in temperature. Sadly disappointed there. However, their cheesecake wasn't half bad and the salad I purchased was enormous. That was excellent. It fed me four times over a week and never lost its crispness, coloring or flavor. Don't know how they did it but kudos for the salad.
I would normally give this place 5 stars as we've been multiple times because it's the matzo ball soup I've found in Central OC...BUT the last time I got it, 12/4/23, I ended up with food poisoning for 2 days and fiancé shared the broth said it tasted vinegary and he got sick but a lot milder symptoms. Going to take a serious jonesing for soup b4 I try that. On a side note, my fiancé had the cheeseburger, which was great. UPDATE: In response to the owners' comment...I eat OMAD and I was perfectly fine until about 5 hrs after I ate (see timing for food poisoning). Keep in mind I did say I've had it many times b4, but this happened on this occasion. Am I telling ppl not to go? No. But I am saying it happened and just be careful and possibly smell it b4 you eat it.
Only so so. Had a half authentic pastrami. Meat was really kind of tasteless, rye was great, friendly counter lady.
I went for the Pastrami sandwich. It was delicious with plenty of meat and the bread was spot-on. It was a bit dry though with an insufficient amount of spicy brown mustard on the bread The only draw back about this place are the high prices. I would definitely go back if the prices were a little better.
Very good pastrami sandwich I would have given a five-star but the meat content compared to Benji's is half for the same price and no fries. Both place a long drive for me however Benji is my place now
(This is for Adrian: after the Yelp comment I had to post here too. ) I ordered the skyscraper with cheese. Cashier asked if I wanted provolone or swiss, I said provolone. No cheese showed up, but manager Adrian's remorseless yelp comment did.

Shared a tiny pastrami sandwich with my husband. We ordered a pastrami sandwich (one to share), a small side of potato salad (to share) and two fountain drinks... the bill came to $24!!! 😯 For what?? Grossly overcharged for what you get. And the pastrami was dry and is much better at The Hat. You can't charge THAT much for food NOT that good! The next time I want pastrami, it won't be the horrible value you get from Tommy Pastrami; I'll just go to The Hat.
Today was my first experience heating here at Tommy pastrami. I was a little shocked on how expensive the sandwich was. All I ordered was a sandwich and drink 18.20 😳.. no sides or anything just the sandwich...don't get me wrong the pastrami sandwich was good but I have had just as good at varsity Burger in Anaheim for half the price and I have to say the pastrami at varsity Burger is probably a little better tasting 🤷♂️. For being my first experience and probably my last I rate it 2 out of 5 on the fact that the pastrami did not stand out as I wish it did for $18. if the pastrami would have stood out because of its unique flavor then maybe it would be worth the price and the trip to a Tommy Pastrami
I ordered rye, beef brisket, sauerkraut. Paid, left $4 cash tip in their carafe. She said it comes with pickles and au jus. They packaged the food as rye with brisket, then sauerkraut separate, two pickle halves, no au jus. If you want brown mustard, they won’t provide it unless you explicitly request it. Be prepared to hear her tell you “Tommy’s gravy is better than any woman’s gravy.” The rye bread was good. Dry sandwich. Good bread.
called in an order on a Saturday and was told it would be ready in 15 minutes arrived in 20 minutes and told the Cashier i had a call in order i paid for the order and he gave me a reciept and said my order was # 27 i thought that was strange so i looked to a side table and noticed 2 bags of food originally i thought the food sitting there was for doordash or something so i went and sat down and waited 15 to 20 minutes and then th cashier came over and looked my reciept and said my order was ready and handed me the same 2 bags that were sitting there when a arrived i questioned the other cashier that was there and he lied to me and said that was a different order bottom line is the food might have been good it it was fresh but did not taste very good after sitting fo 20 minutes also the chili cheese fries wer overcooked maybe it is because it was a saturday might try again to see if it was just a Staffing issue

Decided to go to this place on Sat.Jan. 8 as our first experience was great food and service. Today there were different people working. While we were deciding on what to get, my husband noticed the cook with the hat on came out of the bathroom wearing gloves. When we ordered, we asked the cashier to tell him to change his gloves and told him what happened. After taking our order and the next persons order, he did tell the guy in Spanish to change his gloves. The guy did not know why he was being told that, and the cashier guy turned and pointed at us saying we saw him do that. As we waited for our food, my husband was feeling more upset and we lost our appetite. I went up and asked to cancel our order and get a refund. The cashier said he did tell him to change his gloves and I said I know, but my husband is very upset and didn't want to eat here now. The cashier did void our order in the credit card system and we paid for the bottle of water and bottle of Coke that we had already opened. We were extremely disappointed, as my husband was looking forward to eating here and this experience has now ruined it. My hope is that the restaurant takes food safety more seriously. Also, as a side note, not one employee was wearing a face mask and I know face masks are supposed to be worn inside buildings at this time. We will not be returning here as we don't want to risk getting sick from someone using the restroom and not changing their gloves. Saving my $44 and health and going elsewhere. For the owner, I do have a photo of the gentleman I'm speaking about, if you want to contact me privately.
The food was outrageously expensive, $40 for two bland sandwiches and two extremely small portioned and under cooked fries. Safe to say we will never go there again.
First time eating at Tommy's Pastrami and was very very disappointed. Price of sandwiches very high $13.95 nothing comes with the sandwich and still $13.95. Really I have tasted better pastrami from Dougles Burger in Long beach and it is only $7.50 and comes with F.F. Not worth the $40.95 I paid for two sandwiches and cup of soup.
New York hot dawgs The worst is hot dog I ever ate. Taste like rubber! the hotdog bread falling apart. I will never eat there again.8/11/2023 Costa Mesa, location on Harbor Boulevard
Long time customer, just ordered on Uber Eats, requested side of mustard and sauerkraut, got neither, no napkins or utensils either for my potato salad. Sitting here angry that meal is not what i expected! Lost a good customer over nickle and diming me!!!! I probabaly spend close to $800 annually here to!
I’m the idiot for coming to a pastrami spot and getting a Philly cheese steak but I was craving it and so I ordered it. Honestly it is one of the worst sandwiches, not just Philly steaks, that I have ever had. And I am not one to leave 1 star reviews…but after paying $19 for a full Philly steak and getting this over-cheesed, unseasoned meat, and semi soggy bread sandwich, it was a must for me to leave this review. TAKE IT OFF THE MENU.
They charge $3.50 just for a can of soda. The Knish was so salty. Why it does not need salt. $5.75 just for 1. Should be $3.50 each. The Italian Meatball Sub a 1/2 is enough for 2. The Veggie sub was Very Watery did they wash the lettuce n for get to dry it. Pat the lettuce dry. There was No oil n Vinegar on it No Italian dressing. Very plain n blain. They give u Mustard n mayonnaise packets. What it's American No its a New York Deli that's Italian. Piezan. Someone needs a trip back east to NY for a lesson. Very pricey. $12.95 1/2 meatball n $11.95 1/2 Veggie. Subway Next time for a Footlong.
The Philly Cheese Steak I ordered on November 3 of 2018 around 2:00 was poorly prepared. My bread was visibly burnt and the contents of the sandwich dry and I could not see any cheese or peppers in my sandwich, this was not their best sandwich. I would think they will have to review their preparation procedures for that menu option. The guy who took the order should check the orders as they come out and make sure that the food is prepared correctly. This restaurant was recommended by the people I was with that afternoon they have a hot Dog and sliders not too difficult to prepare, and they had no issues they discussed at the table. I would say the attitude of the employees could have been better. The visuals in the restaurant such as menu’s and advertising material appeared cluttered and hard to read. Trim out the visuals in the store.
