Great addition to Lafayette. The beer is good, the beertenders are friendly. The best part is probably the venue though. It has seating inside for about 15 or so, but there are also 2 outdoor spaces. A covered patio in the front and then another grasslike section in the back with plenty of seating. They even have an ordering window for the outdoor seating in the back. It's a well designed place imo.

Solid beers and good food. Their WC IPAs are tasty. The pretzel and black bean burger with bacon were delicious too. Also, I know what you’re thinking… black bean burger ADD bacon?! Adding pork to a veggie burger…. Who would do such a thing? Me. I did. It was delicious. I’d do it again. You should too.

Really great brewery, with some tasty beers and really tasty food too! I had the Lafayette lager, the five year anniversary cider, the Diablo (all beef hotdog), and the all beef Chicago dog. The beers were great and the all beef hotdogs were delicious! The service at this brewery was phenomenal too, despite it being busy they managed to get drinks and food to the patrons in a quick and timely manner. As far as the ambiance, the interior was clean and comfortable, and the exterior was a turf lawn with wooden benches and chairs circling the area. It also rained when we went and they had umbrellas setup outside which was very much appreciated! Will definitely be back!

Headlands is a great brewery, the beer and food are good, and the atmosphere and location are great. I enjoy coming here at least once a week for a beer and relaxing outside. They offer all their beers in various sizes: 13oz, 16oz, 20oz (20oz seems like a rare find these days in California!). Known for their awesome smash burger, I highly recommend it for the smash burger connoisseur out there.

I have to write this review to personally thank Jason, the absolute GOAT. Everyone in our group unanimously agreed he gave the best customer service we’ve received anywhere. This man is an angel on earth and blesses anyone in his path. Beer was incredible, we each got something different and not a single one wasn’t delicious. The pretzel with cheese was insane. No words. Just get it, you won’t have regrets. Can’t recommend coming here enough. Kudos all around. Thank you again Jason, you’re the best!

So happy we went to the soft opening today. It was crowded, but workers quickly put out more chairs and were circling around to make sure everyone was happy. They allow kids and dogs (yay!!!) and have food to order to help soak up the yummy drinks!

Really like this place. Love that they continuously change their beer offerings (including other breweries). Staff is friendly & very attentive - they’re genuinely interested in making sure people are enjoying themselves. I’m a bit biased towards hazy IPAs, & theres are consistently very, very good. Of course they offer plenty of other ‘varieties.’ If you’re anywhere close, I highly recommend checking it out.

Awesome drinks. Awesome staff. Sometimes the customers take a while to order, so I hear other customers mumbling about the wait in the line, but I say who cares. You're at a brewery.. why are you in a rush? Relax and talk to someone next to you ya know? All the beer they make is easy to drink and tastes good, they have guest breweries on tap, wine and cider as well, and snacks and small bites. It's a small local microbrewery so I feel like they are doing the best they can with what they offer... pretty much anything to make anyone happy that comes to a place like that. I totally dig it.

Great place!! Great atmosphere! And GREAT service. Everyone was super sweet and you could tell they loved their jobs which is so nice to see and experience! Special shot out to the bat tender, Will and the chef, Jose! Perfect drink and the smash burger was fabulous!!! 👏🏽

Love the ability to get different size beers or a full pitcher if you're sharing. Fantastic ambiance. We are before we went here and wishes we hadn't because the food smelled so good.

Really like the vibe of the place and the spot in town with some older style buildings rather than so many other modern and stake places. Burger and sausage plate were very good, and didn't take too long even on a crowded holiday.

Very interesting place with the cute outside seating to oversee uptown main strip on the rainy night with a great beer selection and very knowledgeable staff offering what your heard desires. Hawk Hill Hefeweizen ($8.50) was a bit plain and got compensated with flavorful pilsner. Smash Burger ($9.50) as good as it can be, can be substituted with bbq meats and delicious sauce from next door. Atmosphere and vibe are amazing with comfy and heated outdoor seating and very cool view. Enjoyed and will be back for more.

A wonderful and casual place to hang out with family, friends, kids and dogs on a leash in the backyard patio with firepits, big TV's to watch the games and to enjoy their tap beers, tasty hot dogs, nachos, tacos, pretzels or whatever they have cookin' on the grill. It's a great neighborhood spot!

A wonderful and casual place to hang out with family, friends, kids and dogs on a leash in the backyard patio with firepits, big TV's to watch the games and to enjoy their tap beers, tasty hot dogs, nachos, tacos, pretzels or whatever they have cookin' on the grill. It's a great neighborhood spot!

The place has a great environment with lots of space to hang out with friends and kids. The smash burger is fantastic just as the beer selection. The main reason I’m not giving 4-5 stars is due to the staff (busboys) they were rude to us and our kids. One of the kids was playing with a pretty beat down picnic-chair and instead of approaching and asking us to politely to stop, he just grabbed the chair from the kid (2 year old) aggressively and told us that it could break. We are extremely conscious about our kids breaking other people’s property and we would’ve been very understanding if he would’ve approached differently. Finally, another waitress rudely told us to move the picnic table away from the path, which again it is fair and understandable, we were just not happy with they ways and aggressive tone. It is a shame that a great experience gets ruined by lack of customer service. The bar tenders were fantastic, knowledgeable and friendly!

If you are white and rich, this place is great to stop by. Otherwise even if you ask for a spoon, you get weird looks. Also most of them don’t know how to pour a beer without forming foam on top. Canyon Club Brewery in Moraga is more welcoming irrespective of who you are.
