For a neighborhood beverage spot, it's a place to hangout with friends or mingle with others, just relax and have a good time.

Great bar, doesn't pretend to turn into a dance club at night.

If I go out, I like to go here. The bartenders here know how to treat a guest, unlike most of the other bars in Walnut Creek.

Super casual bar with large selections of liquor and decent selection of beer. Gets very crowded on Friday and Saturday nights though it's a good place to catch up with friends over some loud music. Bring back the Guinness on tap!

Mr. Lucky's serves food? I never knew that. It was the hangout for restaurant crews to go after dinner shifts when I waitressed in the 80's/early 90's. Spent many a late night there, usually until the 2 a.m. last call. It was our Cheers. Glad to see Mr. Lucky's is still in business - so much in Walnut Creek has changed!

In general I'll be avoiding the area but if I ever find myself there again I'll definitely go in for a drink and to get a brake from the depressing retail area outside.

Bartender was accommodating and friendly. Dark inside. A little hard to find after 10pm. Open after 10 pm. A real hole in the wall. Locals.

Nice vibes, cool that they have a dance floor so you can let loose and enjoy yourself. Would be nice if they had a pool table but drinks are reasonably priced. People here are friendly and easy to talk to. Would recommend going here on a weekend out

The food is above average quality but nothing to write home about generally. There is very quaint outdoor seating. Mr. Lucky's is a very nice place to go for large groups but if its a weekend you should make a reservation.

Place stunk very bad. Im talking about the aroma, horrible. Was a sausage festival too. 60 guys and 6 girls. Never had to stand in line to spit game before.

I stumbled upon this place as I walked the downtown streets in search of a cold beer and some food. I walked in and did get ID as I normally do however this lady had to do a double take *whatever* So I ordered my food and took it back to my place of work I took out the middle pieces of bread from my turkey club - and there it was a HAIR IN MY FOOD!!! Should have known!! I saw the Mexican cook WITHOUT A HAIRNET!! So against HEALTH CODE! Go for the beer and skip the food here

Welp the drinks were good and the bartender was cool but god forbid you accidentally touch and cause one of their decorations to sway a little bit. Some random chick will come up to you and threaten to slap you if you “slap” a snowflake. I think we know who the real snowflake is haha. It was my first time there and thanks to whoever this random person was it was my last. I simply put on my jacket in a tight space and glanced a snowflake but got yelled at for it. Glad you have your priorities straight

Not sure what happened here today. I have been coming to this bar regularly for about a year and usually walk over. Today it was 39 degrees, so I took an Uber. I got in without issue, found an open spot at the bar, and stood there for maybe two minutes. I had not ordered a drink yet or interacted with anyone other than saying hello to the bouncer and the person next to me. Then a different bouncer came up and told me I had to leave, claiming the bartender asked for it. When I asked if there was a misunderstanding or if something specific had happened, I was not given an explanation and was just told I had to go. I asked the door staff if they could help clarify what was going on so I could understand, and they told me to come back tomorrow. The bar was not full, and there was no negative interaction that I am aware of. If it were a capacity issue, I would completely understand. I have been turned away for that before and it made sense. This situation just felt awkward and confusing and left me with a bad impression. Unfortunately, after this experience, I will not be coming back.
