Opinions de Lottie's Creamery Concord
This is the best ice cream spot in downtown Walnut Creek hands down. It's handmade with good ingredients and it definitely shows in the taste. I've never been disappointed with anything I've gotten there but my favorites are the macaron ice cream sandwich and the vanilla honey toffee almond ice cream. Plus they have the best sprinkles
super delicious ice cream! big servings. margarit was a really big help deciding our flavors!
This is hands-down the best ice cream shop in Walnut Creek. The ice cream is home-made and the flavors sometimes change with the season. There are also Vegan options like sorbet. I tend to venture into new flavors and I have not had a bad experience. The only one is different is chocolate mint, but that is only because you can taste that they used real mint, not just the flavoring. So it might taste different than what we are used normally used to but other than that, I have had a great experience every time. Highly recommend! The line is sometimes long but it moves fast, it is so worth the wait.
Delicious ice cream! I love how they have the 2 flavor mini scoop option. I got the vanilla bean toffee and the honey lavender they were both so delicious. They don't use all the food colorings either. The ice cream is perfectly sweet, but not overly sweet. Awesome young people working the front with great customer service.
Cute little ice cream place that makes homemade ice cream. I ordered the dark chocolate, which was excellent! The staff was also very friendly and quick in their work. Edit: I've tried soo many of their flavors and I haven't tried one that I haven't liked! Ethiopian coffee and salted almond toffee have been two of my favorites, followed by Thai iced tea and their fresh mint chocolate chip.
I was walking after eating at Broderick Roadhouse and wanted dessert. I saw a line for this place and asked the friend It was with if it was good. He said yes so we got in line. They have like 10 flavors that can change and be seasonal, I got the Vanilla Salted Almond Toffee. It was so good. My friend got the Earl Grey. He enjoyed it. You can get it in a cup, on a cone or waffle cone, as a sundae or as a milkshake. They have cookie sandwiches too but they are premade and the flavors are different. Can't wait to go again.
Very clean and fair prices for fair servings. A smaller selection of flavors than a more normal-sized parlor, but the flavors they stock are well chosen and don't stray too far from the tried-and-true. The service was fast, and tap-to-pay was emphasized as preferred, which is nice. They also had a very nice storefront, and it's placed very well in the outer third of the Walnut Creek shopping district. The sidewalk was nice and shady, but they didn't have much space for any outdoor seating.
Visited this shop on a whim, so I didn’t expect much.. but it ended up being one of the best ice creams Ive had in my life. They have a variety of interesting flavors, and I decided to try the ginger green tea toffee. Each of the flavors came through strong - especially the ginger - and there were bits of actual ginger and toffee mixed in. I’ll definitely be back if I’m in the area to satisfy a sweet tooth!
The best ice cream I have ever tasted, super fresh, all natural ingredients
Good flavors for sure! Ice cream is quite creamy. Good late night spot for jumping up your sugar levels! 😜
Loved their brownie sandwich with Earl Grey ice cream, and my friend enjoyed the lavender lemonade sorbet waffle cone. The brownie sandwich is such a great idea! Brownie was rich and dark chocolatey and not too sweet paired well with the ice cream. Would love to try other flavors. Wish that they would add some more non-dairy flavors!
I know this might be a hot take but I think that Lotties is the best ice cream in the Bay Area. I feel very lucky to have it in my backyard. I've been here a hundred times and have never been disappointed. The salted almond toffee is to die for. This is probably my favorite place in Walnut Creek
Best ice cream in the bay area hands down!! They always have mew seasonal flavors and they are all to die for. I don’t understand how can an ice cream place nail down every flavor every single time!
I tried 3 different flavors and a couple samples.total of 5 different flavors and they were all good good good .they make I cream sandwiches as well and cakes.nice staff (Saturday around 11:30am) and had no issues asking questions definitely give it a try you won’t regret it.
Very friendly staff, honeycomb and matcha were amazing! great flavor and creamy goodness
My number one choice when it comes to ice cream because of their fresh ingredients and flavors. And I love all their flavors here, from plain vanilla, dark chocolate, to something fruity. Also try their brownies and waffle cone when you get ice cream. The line can get very long in the summer but it moves very quickly.
Really interesting flavors and amazing icecream. It just tastes rich and different. Love it. I would agree the serving size seems small by American standards but as much as I love their icecream I think a single scoop feels just right. Sorry this is the only picture I could take as I couldn’t wait to finish it 😂 Personal fav was the Vanilla Salted almond toffee. Recommendation for another flavor: Vanilla Salted Almond. The toffee makes it way too sweet,
Love their flavor selection. This caramel pumpkin pie was really good🥰
While I was in Walnut Creek, I found a great little ice cream shop called Lottie's. I was surprised to find that they handcraft Artisan ice cream on the other side of their backwall of their storefront. I also found that their building was the original Post Office for Walnut Creek. I had a delicious Hot Fudge Sundae made with a large scoop chocolate ice cream, and one of Vanilla Salted Almond Toffee. It was topped with hot fudge sauce, praline peanuts, and whipped cream that they whip there. It tasted so much better than the factory made ice cream found in markets. I noticed how the ice cream was stretchy while I was spooning out of my bowl. I throughly enjoyed every bite!!! They also make ice cream cakes, ice cream sandwiches, and ice cream floats. Lottie's ice cream is really fresh--seeing how it is made in the back room. I saw them working through the back window, and took a picture. Tip: there is no place to eat ice cream in their shop, however, there are several benches across the street--that is where I ate mine.
Store front is adorable. Pretty good date spot. Ice cream is really tasty. I got vanilla and vanilla almond toffee. It had a slightly chewy texture almost like gelato. Probably the best ice cream I've had in awhile. Also get the handmade waffle cone. It's very buttery delicious.
I love this place. My partner and I love to scout for local icecream places whenever we are visiting a place, and we did the same in Walnut Creek, and Lottie’s didn’t disappoint us. It’s a local handcrafted artisan icecream shop in the heart of Walnut Creek. We got the single scoop hot fudge sundae(Vanilla Salted Almond Toffee icecream), Ginger Pear Sorbet, and the Kumquat flavoured icecream, and all of them hit the spot. They’ve an assortment of different toppings ranging from almonds to sprinkles that you can add to your icecream. The place got really busy by the time we were done, that shows how popular(and good) this place is. There isn’t much space inside to sit and eat, but there are benches across the street where you can eat. On a cold day, it might be a good idea to do take out and eat it in your car or home. The staff is polite and helpful, and we chatted with them for a bit. Overall an awesome local icecream shop in Walnut Creek that I’d love to visit again. Thank you!
What a delightful little ice cream shop. Lottie's Creamery serves rich and creamy ice cream in both unique flavors and class favorites. When my kid and I stopped by, the line was pretty long, but it moved fast. if you get a scoop, the ice cream is doled out to order, but if you get an ice cream sandwich, they are premade and pulled out from the freezer in the back. We enjoyed how the ice cream was smooth, natural tasting, and not cloyingly sweet. Overall, it's a nice ice cream shop that I will likely stop by again whenever I'm in the area.
Lottie's is the REAL DEAL! Great quality, creamy and delicious ice cream. The woman working on a Saturday midday was friendly, attentive and had a really nice smile. Ordered a brownie sundae with whiskey almond ice cream, hot fudge, whipped cream, candied nuts. Each spoonful was pure bliss. I highly recommend this business.
Way to go with the selection of the distinct and traditional flavors, cone options and toppings. This place makes their ice cream daily and sure does have the taste. Too bad that the rose flavor sold only in pints. From now on, one way or the other this will be our family go-to ice cream shop.
The caramel pumpkin pie flavor is TO DIE FOR. Just get it. There are humongous pieces of graham cracker crust in there and the pumpkin flavor is unreal.
The ice cream tastes very unique and has a various of flavors. It’s chewy and not too sweet, and it’s delicious. We chose Earl Gray, Ethiopian Coffee and Vanilla Bean flavors.
The brownie ice cream sandwich was fire 🔥 staff very friendly!

Small nice place with super delicious ice cream. If you are in Walnut Creek area, it’s a must try place.
Some of the best ice cream I have ever had. They make all the parts of the ice cream in house. So all the toffee made in house. They give you samples so you can try everything and they are super nice to boot.
It's ice cream that's creamy so what's not to like. I liked the fact they have both mini double and double so if you don't have a big appetite you can order mini double for two flavors. I enjoyed every flavor I had there especially the dark chocolate which is very rich and flavorful. The place is cozy and old school and although it only has a bench for eating indoors it's good enough. Service is good enough for ice cream parlor and decor is very old fashioned which fits the theme. It's on the main street so perfect for a quick stroll after dinner here.
This is my favorite ice cream in the Bay Area, some of my favorite ice cream ever. The flavors are varied and interesting without being too weird or experimental. The ingredients are so natural and fresh you can taste the difference. I especially recommend the mint ice cream cake!

Great ice cream but slightly overpriced. Especially for the amount that you get. $7 is fine for a scoop of great ice cream if you get a solid amount. The employees are super inconsistent with the scoop size. Sometimes you get what you pay for and sometimes you get a small scoop.
Omg.. whiskey coffee icecream...do I ND to say more??? It was really good. This place isn't too big of a place, but it is very cute and filled with a lot of goodies. U can get icecream, floats, cakes, brownies, tshirts, housemate candies and treats. I would definitely come back again for the whiskey coffee ice cream again..:)

Disappointing experience. The ice cream lacked flavor and the texture was off. To make it worse, the prices are way too high for what you’re getting. Definitely not worth it. Extremely disappointed with the service. An employee rudely asked an Asian customer to leave for talking too loud, while three white men nearby were speaking louder. The clear double standard and unfair treatment were upsetting. This place needs to address their biases and train their staff better.
Overpriced ice cream. The taste was good, but 15.00 for a tiny scoop of ice cream, small brownie and the tiniest squirt of chocolate is ludicrous. I could share with 3 people at Fenton for that amount money. The picture is not doing it justice. Appears bigger than it seems.

We love the ice cream. So delicious and home-made. But every time we’ve come here (5th time this month) they are minimally staffed (1 or 2 people in the entire store) resulting in very long lines and wait. On a warm Friday night, they only have one person who’s scooping and serving as the cashier. The owner needs to hire more people. Expect a wait of 30 to 40 minutes! Ice cream is delicious, but it’s trying our patience. We’ll tip the poor server well, but I’m sure he’s not happy either.
I got the Vanilla Salted Almond Toffee and Honeycomb. Great flavors and textures that I've experienced, but their customer service is just deplorable. The younger guy of the two working there (other was probably the owner) serving me wasn't friendly at all. He seemed like he didn't want me to be there. Not only do you need to work on your attitude, but also your prices, too. Don't rely on your high-quality ice cream for customers to keep coming in. It will not make up for your dour attitude that was permeating the store's atmosphere and also given to me. At my visit to Zebra right before coming to Lottie's, every employee had a bright and welcoming demeanor to them. It would have been nice if that bright and welcoming demeanor was also reflected at Lottie's...
I drove all the way to Walnut Creek just to try Lottie’s much-talked-about Rose Cardamom Pistachio ice cream. Unfortunately, they didn’t have it.or many other flavors either. No banana, no plain pistachio honestly, the selection was extremely limited. I came ready to splurge and stock up if I liked the flavors, but I left disappointed. For a place with such hype, they really missed the mark today
The blonde girl with the acrylic nails and glasses who was working the night of May 28 2022, @10:25Pm needs to be retrained on customer service, she was beyond rude with no class or a dash of kindness. If you have a attitude like that you should not be behind a counter servicing customers. Aside from that the ice cream is always good, would be better if the whole experience was satisfactory.
