Had a quick lunch here after flying in from Toronto and it’s really good. The empanadas were all very flavourful and delicious, with what tastes like an Italian twist (in the chimichurri sauce). I got their chicken pot pie, chicken and mushroom, and beef and potato flavours. All great. The pastry dough was perfect too. I just came back from Italy so I had to try their gelato too out of curiosity. I sampled the Italian classics (tiramisu, Stracciatella, and mango sorbet). I have to say the tiramisu tasted a bit artificially flavoured which was disappointing, and the straccciatella lacked flavour. I don’t blame the owner though, Italian quality chocolate chips, flavourings, and cream are hard to come by in North America. However, the mango sorbet was very delicious and flavourful, I could taste fresh mangoes. The other flavour I picked was the hazelnut crunch, and it was also surprisingly delicious. The hazelnuts were fresh, and tasted great. Would go back!

Delicious!! Beef empanada combo with Greek salad 🥗 is a must!! Empanadas are baked and you can taste the freshness and quality of the products. Come here often, it never disappoints!! 🙌

Whenever we're in Laguna Beach, we make it a point to stop by at Sergio's for their delish Empanadas and Chimichurri! The Empanadas are prepared Argentinian style with a variety of meat and veggie fillings. Slightly on the pricier side, probably due to the prime location, but the portion sizes are huge. You can even purchase frozen Empanadas to bake at home.

It's a nice little spot. The crust on the empanadas are amazing & with so much filling! I recommend the mushroom and chicken! Don't forget to buy a jar of their chimichurri to go!

I'm not an empanada expert but this was a fantastic spot to stop for a snack. Besides empanadas, you can get Vietnamese coffee and alfajores. They also sell their house chimichurri, which made a fun gift for friends back on the east coast

Love this place and I appreciate the sign out front! It definitely caught our attention. Empanadas are under $5 and they had vegetarian options, which made me happy. Sergio was really cool to us and made my day. Highly recommend this place based on the food and how hospitable the owner is.

Beef empanadas is amazing! Follow by banana empanadas and finish with fresh coconut juice! Love everything! Highly recommended!

So delicious! The empanadas were just what we needed after a long day at the beach, the bread on the outside was perfect and the whole thing together made for a cozy, homey, meal.

So happy we stopped here!! My husband and I love empanadas after traveling to Argentina and these were just as good as the ones we had there. We tried two of the meat ones and a sweet potato. All were delicious and stuffed full! Great portion and value. We also had the Quinoa salad which was just as tasty!! Filled us up for $20 🤩😋 Also the staff were super nice 👍

Just had my first sweet empanada with banana and dulce de leche. Not bad, but maybe too sweet on its own. Ate it with vanilla ice cream and it was good.

Empanadas are okay if you don’t like a lot of seasoning. Staff was unfriendly towards my Hispanic family members. (When a Caucasian member of the family asked for the closest bathroom, the staff provided a door code to use their bathroom despite having posted signs stating they had no bathroom for the public. When a Hispanic member of the family asked the same question the staff simply told them, “We don’t have a bathroom.”) Very disrespectful and disappointing to see a restaurant using culture that the staff does not respect or value.
