We stopped at La Cantina de San Angel in the Mexico Pavilion for a quick lunch while at Epcot. The location is fantastic, with outdoor seating right on the water, offering a beautiful view of the World Showcase Lagoon. It's the perfect spot to take a break and enjoy the scenery. My son had the kids' tacos, which came with chicken and a side of corn chips and nacho cheese. It was a good portion for him and a nice, kid-friendly option. I ordered the Arroz Bowl with Marinated Grilled Chicken, which was topped with flavorful pickled onions and served over a generous bed of Mexican rice. It was a satisfying meal, and I especially enjoyed the tangy pop of the pickled onions. Overall, the food was good not the most amazing meal l've ever had at Disney, but it hit the spot for a quick-service lunch. The real star here is the atmosphere. If you're looking for a casual, fast meal with one of the best views in Epcot, La Cantina de San Angel is a great choice.
La Cantina de San Angel at EPCOT is a great spot to grab a meal while enjoying one of the best views in the park. The nachos were absolutely delicious, well-prepared, and served in a generous portion that’s perfect for sharing. The location by the water makes it even more special, especially in the evening, since you can sit and relax while waiting for the fireworks show. Watching the nighttime spectacular from here with good food in hand is a fantastic experience. It’s casual, tasty, and the view alone makes it worth a stop.
I got the taco trio based on the cashier’s recommendation and it was fantastic. The food was fresh and flavorful. It seemed like they had an efficient process to get the line moving quicker, which I always appreciate. All the Cast members were friendly and welcoming. Indoor seating stops around 2 pm, but if there’s a table near the water you’ll have a great view of the World Showcase.
Great seats and view of the water. Nachos were good, but wouldn't recommend the fried shrimp tacos aa they were super dried out. Good beer and atmosphere! Reasonable pricing.
Needed a quick stop for food, and while it wasn’t as quick as other quick service restaurants, the 5-10 minute wait and cost was entirely worth it. Amazing food. Loved the Tacos con Pollo.
I always have a great experience here. The Mexicans who work here are always really cool and kind. It's super fun to get a cultural experience right here in EPCOT! The food is good, nothing AMAZING, but I like the bowls, the guacamole is great and the plantains are good too. Plantains aren't crispy, but they are sweet and delicious. They have a few salsas that are good and your traditional/American sauces as well. The seating is a highlight for a few reasons- outside looks out over the water, they have seating/tables designed for wheelchair access, and if you go before the restaurant next door opens you can sit inside the restaurant in the ac and there's usually plenty of seating. Great experience!
This place was INCREDIBLE. Sun setting, sitting over the lake with a frozen margarita and beautiful views. Vibes were perfect. Staff were lovely and polite on the tills too. Really good value with the quick service dining plan too. Don’t miss out on this one! We went to the Mexican restaurant inside the ride building on our previous trip and it was rubbish compared to this one!
Wonderful, relaxing finish to a long day walking Epcot. Several menu dishes do not show online — examples the Ahi Tuna Tostada and beef fajitas. Everything was very, very good including the drinks. Our waiter was attentive, polite and helpful. Later they dimmed the lights and piped in the music so everyone could enjoy the end-of-day fireworks.
One of our favorite quick service restaurants at Epcot. Food is great for the price and the margaritas are delicious. The atmosphere is very nice being under the pavilion and enjoying tacos at the same time. Lines can be pretty busy during lunch time. Best to come before or after the lunch rush.
Had a great time. Chicken Tacos and Kids meals were great. The hostess was gracious to give us a sample of churros on the house. They were also delicious. The setting is casual but beautiful, especially on the patio next to the water.
Every time I come to Epcot, I stop here for lunch! Love the nachos and trio tacos. You have to wait a little while, but it goes fast! Also, if you are lucky enough to get a table, you eat along the water. So nice!

Best place for lunch at Epcot - suggest the frozen margaritas and chicken tacos.

So delicious! Only problem is line is very long during daytime - go in the evening so u have less of a wait
Food was good and found a nice spot by the water. Empanadas and churros were good and was told the tacos were too. Got there early. Glad we did as it got quite crowded.
The food was good for theme park food (I had the fish tacos and they were over cooked, my husbands fish of the day dish was incredible- so I was jealous), the margarita and mocktail were amazing and the atmosphere and our server Alexander were exceptional. It’s in Epcot so the atmosphere is an easy one. But Alexander was very attentive and went out of his way to make our lunch date enjoyable.
Everything at Disneyland lacks 'spectacular" for food. Under that this was a good meal for the situation.
A good place for a meal in EPCOT. La Cantina de San Angel is a great quick-service restaurant in EPCOT’s Mexico Pavilion, right on the edge of the World Showcase Lagoon. While EPCOT opened back in 1982, La Cantina opened it’s doors in 2010, giving guests a more relaxed, outdoor dining option with some seriously great views. The seating by the water is a real highlight—perfect for taking a break or people-watching. We decided to try them out on our recent visit to the park. I am glad that we did. The food was solid across the board, with tasty tacos, loaded nachos, and churros that hit the spot every time. I had the tacos and a jarrito. You order in front of the counter and pick up your food at the counter when it’s ready. We took advantage of the waterside pavilion and tables and sat right along the water. It was pleasant under the shade along the water. There is NO inside seating, it is all outside. The food was ready quickly and it was very good, The staff was pleasant and the area was clean. The prices were reasonable for being in the park. OVerall, it was casual, convenient, and one of the better places in the park to sit back with good food and enjoy the atmosphere without needing a reservation.
Did I eat a margarita sundae for breakfast? Yes Should you also eat a frozen margarita for breakfast? Also yes. It was a delicious lime ice cream with some Tajín around the rim and also a straw with Mexican candy (chili powder). My family also got some nachos, tacos, etc. but the star of the show was totally the frozen margarita. The service time was a little slow; we ordered within 1-2 minutes but had to wait almost 10 minutes for our food. It’s a little surprising because Mexican food is usually quick.
Nice seating area by the water. The food didn’t have a lot of flavor to it. Kids chicken tacos just had chicken on them. The salsa was pretty good.

La Catina de San Angel is a quick service restaurant located in Mexico on Epcot’s World showcase. The menu offers tacos, empanadas, nachos, rice bowls and more. You can also get margaritas and churros. On this trip we tried the nachos and empanadas. Both had very good portion sizes, but the nachos were larger. The empanadas were filled with white cheese and were slightly soggy instead of crispy, but overall for quick service meals, both were pretty good. The empanadas also came with a side of black beans and rice. The nachos came with cheese, seasoned ground beef, pickled jalapeños, sour cream and tomatoes. As a bonus, the seating area has a great view of world showcase lagoon. This is a great option for a quick bite if you are roaming around the world showcase.
Ordered the 3 taco combo-chicken, pork and shrimp-comes with rice and black beans. Tacos were really good-shrimp was unexpected and was my favorite. Don’t forget to get condiments from one of the stands along with utensils! Seating outside was packed so we went inside which was clean and quiet. For a quick and easy lunch, this was perfect.
This a decent place to eat some mexican food in Disney world. It had a short wait to get the food. Menu is small but decent. Hardest part is to get a seat and a table. Even after you get a space there are people just waiting for you to finish and take your spot. They were nice enough to give some extra water and ice when requested.

The rice was really bad. They used triple the needed condiments / spices so it taste like the end of a bag of chips. Would not recommend. If they had used the right amounts, it could have been very good. It has all the right ingedients
The staff here is beyond rude. One employee tells you to get in a certain line and another yells at you for being in the wrong line. Then, after you order, make sure you get your receipt. They will try to tell you you didn’t order something unless you have proof. I got half my order and asked for the other item only to be told I was wrong and never ordered it. Good thing I had my receipt. They threw it at me and gave me more attitude. Also, I was given a Coke 3/4 of the way full with NO ice! When I asked for the ice, they almost didn’t give that to me. Don’t waste your time or money here. It isn’t worth it.
