Great service big donuts I loved the old fashion style bakery the donuts are made fresh and hot you will not be disappointed 5 stars mary and her staff are very helpful and friendly. My first time and i loved it. Price is good for the value.

The BEST crumb donuts. Went in today at noon and both cases were fully stocked! Great donuts and deli sandwiches. Nice, shady outside patio. No restrooms though - that's tough if you have little ones.

Wow! If you're looking for a donut fix, this is the spot! Plus they make huge, fresh, super tasty sandwiches just how you want it (toasted, bread type, cheeses, etc.), they also have pre-made grab & go sandwiches, salads, wraps, and more if you're in a hurry. Staff are very friendly, helpful, and quick! Honestly can't wait to pop in again with the hubby! SO many amazing donut choices!!!

If you have a sweet tooth and want some AMAZING donuts in the east county, Mary's is the spot. I had the raspberry filled donut. My friend had the vanilla cream filled donut. They both had great flavor and were big too. The inside of the shop was clean and organized. They are so many options to choose from. If you wan something smaller, they have donut holes as well. The ladies that work there are friendly and helpful. It's everything you could ask for in a donut shop. The donuts will put a smile on your face. I can't wait to come back and east some more. Eat up!!!

Cute coffee and donut shop! I was pleasantly surprised to see that they serve lunch items, too. But I came for the yummy donuts. So many choices, but I always get a blueberry old-fashioned, and my husband always gets an apple fritter. Friendly and happy staff members, too.

I love a good pumpkin anything and Mary's Donuts has the niche in making a very good pumpkin muffin. The muffin was very flavorful and soft and moist. It was a little gummy towards the center, as if it needed a little more time in the oven, but it was still great. The lady at the counter was nice enough. She was a little rushed because of the line, so I got that. I did not see any inside or outside seating at this location as the one in Santee offers.

We went in for a quick pickup of a dozen donut for an early meeting. There wasn't anyone in line on a Sunday morning. Everyone liked the fresh and tasty donuts. Friendly service too!

The 8-SECOND RIDE WRAP was fantastic. I had it on a Wheat Tortilla. Roast Beef, Spicy Bacon, Onion, Sprouts, Garlic Aioli and White Cheddar. Yum. It was delicious and really huge, enough for most people to share. Or I love that you can order a Half sandwich. I did not know what I was missing! Everything I tried was wonderful. That's rare. The Red Velvet Donut, Cherry Donuts, Blueberry Muffin and filled donut with raspberry filling were favorites but everything was worth going back for. There are no public bathrooms or indoor seating, good to know! There is a lot behind the bakery if the street parking is full. And there is a nice rustic outdoor patio. There were a lot of sandwiches that sounded delicious and tons of baked goods I can't wait to try. The Rodeo Purse Sandwich is next on my list. It is similar to the 8 Second Ride but has turkey and Squaw Bread.

I just got out of the hospital , and was craving a berry fritter. I had been disappointed the last 4 times I had ordered this fritter, as it had came in the bag burned. And this time was ni different m what was once my favorite treat has been charged to crisp. Not edible. This time was the same way. Too hard d to eat , and chard to a crispy piece of coal. Blackened. The donuts my son bought were good . Mine was not edible. Hope this gets remedied , r please just take it off the menu.

Came in earlier tonight and the donuts were reallyyyy dry. Like, I understand being open 24hrs but the Santee one is never like this. Also, the employees just awkwardly stared at us when we came in. No greeting, no what can I get for you. Kind of rude and just acted like we were annoying them by coming in. Really expensive for just meh donuts too

love marys donuts and I usually get their maple bacon. Was craving an apple fritter and decided to have my boyfriend pick one up today after work, unfortunately it was burnt and couldn’t be enjoyed. Not sure if I’d get another one of these or try out another location but I’ll give them another chance

Drove all the way out from South San Diego and surprised my uncle with these things he's been talking about for - a while. After the 40+ minute driving and then being back home, we cracked open the bags - for the most part, the cruller and the old fashioned were good. But when it came to the Raspberry Filled, the dough was raw toqards the center. At first, I though, oh did I get like a "cream cheese" and Raspberry filled ? And it became more and more apparent it was just raw dough. I was told "Marys" has been an institution for decades, but maybe Lakeside is all about eating raw and uncooked pastry. My uncle's sentiment, as a self-proclaimed "apple fritter connoisseur" was not blown away from the fritter I got him. But at least that was cooked through.

I couldn't have been more disappointed in the birthday donut I purchased. I had tried one a few days before at a celebration and it was DELICIOUS! I guess I should have asked which Mary's they purchased it from. Obviously not the Lakeside location. The one I had tried had the inside of the donut completely filled with Bavarian Cream. At least a third of the donut was filling. I don't think they used enough filling in the one I purchased to fill a regular size Chocolate Bavarian Cream donut let alone the "Birthday Donut"! It was one of the driest donuts I've ever had from Mary's. I will definitely order from the Santee location next time. SMH in disappointment.
