We got there around 2 pm it was very packed but there’s so much seating where you can wait comfortably. We only waited for 20 mins for a booth table for 4. Our waiter was great. The kitchen accidentally gave us the wrong dessert but our waiter told us to keep it for the inconvenience. He was really sweet and attentive.

I made reservations here for Christmas Eve dinner... the restaurant was decorated so festive... the service was excellent!!! We we're seated early and our waitress was AWESOME 🤩 we had the wagon wheel Sampler a family fave, the mushroom & bleu fillet, Rib eye steaks, Bleu cheese wedge salads and so much more... I would definitely come back again 🤩🎉

It had been a bit dince me and my boyfriend had been to a Black Angus but we were curious to seewhat we can get. First off Danielle was beyond a sweet heart to us and and kept my thirsty Boyfriends cups full, recommended me the Filet mignon and it was amazing! She definitely made us feel right at home after both me and the boyfriend had long days at work and just wanted a good meal. We definitely will be returning for the great service and delicious Cheesecake!

Had the food delivered. Amazing steak and lobster! I always have a gard time finding a steak with good seasoning and cooked how I like, but this nailed it. Lobster was soft and flavorful, and paired with an incredible seasoned and cooked steak, I'm thrilled and stuffed.

I just left Black Angus (09/21-7:05pm) & even though everything was as expected… Our server Damian was AMAZING. His presence was such a joy to be around, so sweet and full of life. I hope we see him more often since we’ve been coming to this locations for years & had not so great experiences multiple times but we still come back because we really like the food… Anyways, Thank you again Damian for being a great person!

Took advantage of their 2for1 deal. We had some good bbq chicken and bbq ribs that came with your choice of 2 sides, we chose the ceasar salad and mashed potatoes and it was wonderful. We washed down all that good food with a pint of cold Guinness. Good meal, and easy on the wallet.

Love Black Angus and had never been to this location; it was awesome! When I realized it was nearby, I dropped in for a glass of wine and takeout. Promptly greeted and Giovanna couldn’t have been more awesome behind the bar. Enjoyed the Sauvignon Blanc and appreciate when the takeout order is accurate despite the special requests. It was welcoming, relaxing and gosh their brown bread, loaded baked soup and chicken teriyaki option was definitely delicious once home! Their filet mignon is also outstanding. Don’t hesitate with this location.

We were seated in the bar area which I didn't care for. The booth was too tight. The service was excellent and the food was really good. My disappointment would be it didn't look like the BA of the 80's and I didn't expect it to, but it looked like a glorified Chili's. I can't call this a steak house but there was nothing wrong with it either.

Visited on a Friday night for dinner, I was expecting a long wait time, not at all ...10-15 minute wait for 2...that's pretty smooth and quick. I quickly figured out why, I entered and realized that the bar area is big and the dining area is open large and spacious with many tables and booths everywhere. The noise level during dinner was calm, nowhere near noisy. I ordered fried garlic zucchini 🥒, full rack of baby back ribs🍖, and grilled shrimp🍤 all along with steak soup🍲, fries🍟, red skinned smash potatoes🥔 and broccoli 🥦 For dessert I got the Sky High Mud Pie, a pie of ice cream along with nuts and chocolate. The fried zucchini were enjoyable, not overly fried, fresh and the dipping sauce was delicious. The baby back ribs were tender delicious and meaty...rich in flavor and fulfilling. The grilled shrimp were nicely seasoned, and flavorful along with its butter sauce. The redskin smash potatoes with butter simply delicious almost to die for. The broccoli was good but not enough of it, same with fries....limited portions. The steak soup🍲 is unpopular, but tremendously delicious and savory. The mud pie dessert was fulfilling and for ice cream lovers. Overall a good dining experience, The service was attentive, friendly and efficient.

Went here on date night with wife. It was Friday night. We walked right into a table at the bar area. Our server approached us within a reasonable amount of time. She was friendly, took our drink order. Came back with drinks and asked if we had any questions about the menu. She took our order. Bread & butter came out right away, then the appetizer, salad, and soup. Food came out after nice and hot. My wife's salmon was perfect, and so was my New York steak. Everything was great and cooked perfectly. I must say this location has really upgraded in every way in the last couple years. We loved our date night here!

I would pay to have it delivered. Giving the customer the option of having an outside delivery company like Uber or DoorDash should be something JJ's should consider as their customer base moves out of their area but still want to receive the food. It is way better than any other sandwich shop and I tell others this all the time.

I ordered online for a party and was missing two sandwiches out of fifteen. I called and talked to someone claiming to be a manager. He insisted they were made (though we didn't receive them) and would not offer a refund. I asked him his name, he refused to give it. When I mentioned calling corporate (given he was refusing to help), he replied "go ahead and call corporate." I like Jimmy John's, but honestly after this experience I think I'm done. Terrible, disrespectful service is unacceptable no matter how good the food is. EDIT: I was contacted by the store manager Joel, and the owner Jesse. Both were very apologetic and said what I experienced was not acceptable and vowed to address it. They generously offered to refund the entire order, even though I'd only asked for a refund for the sandwiches I did not receive. All in all, I'm grateful for their efforts to rectify the situation and now consider myself a satisfied customer.

I ordered this place for the first time ever.ordered a giant sandwich menu price was 15.59 they asked me if I wanted cheese and I said yes when it was rung up the total was 21.59 I asked why and Bella said it’s because of the cheese never even mentioned it before hand how unprofessional. I was order 17 and they called 18-22 before I walked up and asked where mine was. They proceed to play the blame game with each other and I mention how this was my lunch break and now I won’t have time, to this they rudely replied do you want to wait or get a refund? Jimmy John's is an odd place. It looks like an East Coast sandwich shop, with brick walls (or brick looking walls), funny signs, and a at least 1 table that had the look of using repurposed materials. My wife and I shared a #9 which was an Italian sub of some kind. It was a little smaller than I was hoping it to be, especially since right next to that group of sub choices ($8.49), was a menu for 8" subs for $5.99. I didn't see the difference. Anyway, the sub tasted really good. They prepare their sandwiches similar to Jersey Mike's (I bet they love hearing that comparison), where the meats and cheeses are fresh sliced for each sandwich. It wasn't very busy at dinner time, although I imagine that a sub shop is MUCH busier at lunch, so it didn't take long for our order. Now the reason my rating isn't at least 4 stars is more the logistics and service and the ordering process. I'm not going to expect red carpet treatment at a quick-serve sub shop, but the young woman at the register had no personality and I wasn't even sure after I swiped my card that our transaction was complete. I wasn't asked for my name or given an order number which also confused me. I wasn't sure that our sandwich was ready until I heard "Italian Night Club!!" yelled out by another worker. The only thing I asked for different than how the sandwich appears described on the menu was that the hot peppers be put on the side. They were. I was happy to see that my order was correct. So, while I wasn't blown away by my experience here, I wasn't disappointed or given reason to never return. I'll consider Jimmy John's for lunch some weekend most likely.

Place looks amazing and the food was absolutely delicious, the service however was lacking. No one was at reception for a good minute and our server was not very attentive, asked for the bill and he was chatting with customers for about 10 minutes, had to walk up to interrupt his conversation. Food is great istl id the time. Drinks are even better. Price is ok. Problem is that our if 4 visits recently, the service left me not ever wanting to return. See wed are not the problem. Lack of servers is out of control. We wait 15 minutes to get contact with server. Once drinja are ordered, another 15 to 20 to get them. Not charged. Food was zbot 25 minutes and you get the point. Will not return.

The calamari is good the sauces were great. The steak was medium well, not medium rare 🫤 To send back would have added so much time. Service was good and could have been better. Server had too many tables to juggle. When I asked someone else close by for something more to drink who were a group of 6 chatting, he said I'll find your server 🤷‍♀️ I thought they worked as a team?

☹️ Nothing to rave about ⚠️ A mediocre steakhouse in Long Beach,CA. After reading lots of reviews we decided to visit this place for dinner. Most of the staff we interacted with were friendly. The place has very large dining rooms. This place has old time vibe. Our table was not cleaned properly and the menu was kind of dirty as well. We ordered 3 stakes. But sadly our Rib eye steaks came filled with black char on outside. I could only take couple of bites. The char taste was so over whelming. My family was struggling to cut stakes. The quality of the stakes were so poor and had no flavor. I returned my steak back. The other 2 stakes were half way finished. The mashed potatoes came with the entree were cold. But what I really like about experience was the attitude and professionalism of the manager. The manager Alina ( I hope I spelled her name correctly) came by and listened to us and apologized profusely. She took care of the bill and was asking us to order something else free of charge. But we didn’t. I forgot to take pictures of the stakes.☹️😕 We made sure to tip the waitress generously. I personally won’t go back here again or recommend anyone to go here.

Takes >15 minutes to for 3 people to make 2 sandwiches when I am only customer. Its not because they are splitting a large sandwich with pickles on only one side... that is impossible. Well, at least they were all having a good time. In the past it was 2 minutes and done. They are off their peak. And i get home and they also messed up my order, no, not on top of their game.

I’ve been coming to this Black Angus location for a few years now and have always enjoyed it. I came in because I had a craving for their chocolate fudge cake, it’s always been my favorite chocolate cake for years. However I can say this was quite disappointing and my last time for the foreseeable future. The price was $13 for a cake, which was a bit high for me but in my past experience it was always a decent size. You can look at people’s past reviews and see the size. However, the cake I received this time was an absolute joke. When I saw it I was confused. I asked the nice worker if there was a mistake, but he said that’s the correct size. The service was great with friendly workers, but this was just a huge disappointment and obviously a cost cut from higher up. Talk about shrinkflation.

I visited the Lakewood Jimmy John’s and had an experience that left me thoroughly disappointed. I walked in during what appeared to be a very slow time—there was only one family dining. Despite this, no one was at the register when I approached, and I had to wait for someone to show up. Eventually, a man arrived who clearly didn’t want to be there. His demeanor was unpleasant, marked by eye-rolling and an attitude that made it obvious he was upset about something. Although I already knew what I wanted and didn’t ask many questions, I did ask him why he seemed unhappy. His response only reinforced the negative vibe, said he was "tired". Honestly, I should have walked out then and there. To top it off, the sandwich I ordered was dry, much like the employee's attitude. Jimmy John’s, this is unacceptable. The person working the front represents your brand, and this individual is not suited for such a role. First impressions matter, and this experience guarantees I won't be returning.

First I'll start by stating that I love Jimmy John's, a lot. But this location is horrible and has been since they opened. I've never had a good experience at this location. It's always something with this store, the usual failures include bread that could double as tree bark, dry cuz they forget to add mayo, or they forget to alert me when the order is ready for pickup. Then owner started charging $4 for a two block delivery. Really? I really wish Google would let me upload the video I took of me scraping the hard bread with a guitar pick and having to press it through the crust, it was like a eating a sandwich made with kettle chips instead of bread. I only use them for FREE sandwiches that I've earned at other locations. While usually it is hard to complain about a free sandwich, this Jimmy John's begs to be critiqued.

My first time trying Jimmy John's. Went into the Lakewood location. There was a manager named Denise yelling at 2 employees that were just trying to learn. She seemed very hostile and irritated. Made me feel very uncomfortable. We'll not be going back.

I came and ordered a #12 Which is turkey avocado tomato there is no fish on the sandwich however this sandwich tasted like fish so bad it was unbearable to eat I called and they said that everything is made fresh however they have no reason that could be given to me on why my sandwich which is turkey taste like fish!!! Avoid this Lakewood CA location at all costs I just hope I don’t get sick! Not to mention I ordered the sandwich without mayo and it came with mayo!

I have been a loyal customer for years, but the recent price increases are unacceptable. Please reconsider and lower your prices to maintain your customer base and loyalty.

Worst experience ever. What happened to Black Angus? We waited 2 hours for our food and it came out cold. The mash potatoes were rock hard. They served raw hambugers to our children. I can go on. Terrible!

Well let's start with the seating asked to sit in a booth in the bar area which they had plenty of seating , was told it would be a longer wait. Was sat in dining area instead. Since I chose not to wait. After being seated our server Toni was very friendly. Once we figured out what to order he went and put it in. We'll I just say this he came out with a tray drinks and beverages and started to serve a table behind first. When we were there before them. Entire time I noticed some of the servers or other staff members coming out laughing or with smirks on their faces. Not too unusual but some being that the energy felt weird. Because it would only be displayed when they were entering the work area, and not with customers. So when the food came out again the table behind was served again first. 🤔 It appeared to me we order the same but my dish was different. Price rib broccoli andgrain rice pilaf only my meat was huge and cut ✂️ feom the butt/end of the roast. Imagine tow huge pcs of me dry, slightly rare/ very pink and lots of fat. Not too many very tough to eat. Immediately when my server walked pass he should have noticed and taken away, but they had someone else bring out iur food.But when came out from the back, I had to stop him and explain I asked for medium rare. He Immediately took it away and brought out the manager. She had a new plate in hand with correct order request. I will say this bathroom paper towels greeting you at the dorr and attaching when you leave, toilets the pipes rusted and mildew, no toilet paper which is horrible. For what I paid will continue to go to Outback, Steve's, Flemings, or Eddie V's. Since the Torrance location is no longer open. I would rather drive somewhere else than to appearance that again . Especially, for what I spent! Consistency is key, which I was not offered by the chef at all with that poor cut of Prime. Shame
