A great donut is hard to find. Eureka!! Found this gem and will be an “every Sunday morning” customer! The donuts were fresh and warm. Very good!

Fresh. Good. Crispy donuts. Excellent pigs in a blanket. Apple fritter delicious too. A little on small side. But probably for the best on health front. And crispy too!!

This is the best place for coffee donuts and more croissants you name it. Don't support chain stores like Starbucks no support the mom and pop shops.

Very good. We got tgere just before they closed, so the choices were down, but we were still able to get our breakfast. Very nice employees too.

The kindness of the owner was amazing we drove up threw the drive threw on a Friday morning they where very busy and my son wanted a pink sprinkle donut and he was sad they were out he made him a fresh two for him and gave him them for free! Made my sons day!

A few days after Christmas, I was driving back to Austin and really needed a cup of coffee to get me through the last leg of the drive. I pulled into the parking lot of Donut Palace and saw that they had been closed for 30 mins. I drove around the drive-thru to get back on the main road when a man throwing out the trash stopped me. He asked me what I needed. I told him I wanted a cup of coffee but I would find another place since they were already closed. He said, “no no, pull around the front and I’ll bring you a cup.” I parked in front and he came back out with a cup of coffee and a bag of donuts. I tried to give him a tip and he refused it. He told me that he hoped I had a great holiday and a happy New Year. Such a sweet man! Proof that good kind people are still out there. If you are passing through Lampasas, be sure to stop at Donut Palace. 💜

Best donuts in the world! They melt in your mouth! The pigs are great as well. Very fairly priced and both the owner and staff are always incredibly sweet and happy to serve. The only thing I don’t like is every time I happen to crave donuts it’s Monday which is when they are closed, but it’s normal for a small business to have 1 day a week off of course. I would be truly heartbroken if Lampasas ever lost this place

Every time I go there it is always so good! There employees are so sweet and they always crack jokes it’s so funny. There wait always differs but it’s mainly 10 mins if there is a line of people

Best donuts and kolaches on 281 between San Antone and Kansas. Always fresh out of the oven.... Coffee is always fresh and good. Looking for that sugar and caffeine rush to get you another 250 miles....The Donut Palace in Lampasas can take care of any itch you need scratched.

Staff always nice, fresh donuts coming out out the oven all of the time, always yummy, smiles from staff. Consistant with the flavors and textured of the donuts.

Pretty fast service.and nice selection. The morning i was there, they had three people working behind the counter to keep service moving. They kept the fresh donuts coming out as well.

Awesome apple fritters. Staff so helpful. More of a drive thru place but there are a few tables plus a space that would work for a meeting room.

we've really like the donuts but we've only been there twice and the first time the coffee was super week and this time the coffee was super strong may be old But the donuts are worth it

The only reason I gave this place such a high rating is because they're donuts are objectively that good and the owner is very nice, but if it weren't for that I would have given them fewer stars just because of the employees.

It was just ok. The sausage colache is not a sausage its a hot dog. Miss leading. Donuts not too bad. 2 1/2 star.

I’m guessing that instead of giving me my 61 cent back she thinks it’s going to be a tip. At least ask if I wanna leave one don’t make me ask for my change... then when I do give me more change then what I’m supposed to get. Seems like that girl knows what she was doing 🤦‍♂️

Service was not great , girl at the counter seemed annoyed. Missed half of my order. This place is lucky they are only ones pulling up on Google for donuts in Lampasas. On the other hand, with this place as competition,I bet someone could make a lot of money if they opened up a good donut store in town. Giving two stars because I would feel bad for only giving a one star.

If you sell out of some thing first thing in the morning, don’t you think you should make more knowing that there’s a large percentage of people that would rather have a plain doughnut with no frosting or glaze. If they had competition in town, I would go to them but unfortunately I am stuck with this place or I don’t eat donuts at all and save myself from getting fat.

My husband brought me a couple of donuts from here, the Cinnamon twist was very good with a lot of Cinnamon flavor. The Bavarian cream was horrible. It was glazed instead of powdered which made it overly sweet. Not very enjoyable

Always loved this place. What has happened to the customer service here. Waited in drive thru for 20 minutes while one employee waits on counter customers and other employee stands outside smoking, looking at me waiting in the drive thru line.

They never have glazed donuts anymore. We now have to drive to Burnet for our donuts.

Horrible!! Stale croissants, pigs in a blanket were so stale we couldn't eat them.The apple strudel tasted old as well. If you want decent pastries, skip this place and find somewhere else.
