Submarina California Subs

I love their sandwiches here and their soup. Yummy!! My favorite sandwich is the turkey and avacodo on squaw roll. The place smells so good when you go in and the staff is awesome. I love that they give you a cookie or an Andis mint. There is never a long wait even when they are crowded. But I never feel rushed either Try their tomato bisque soup. It is so good!

Love the wide variety of breads and fresh ingredients. They offer a large selection of sizes and the sandwiches don't taste like just another chain meal. I love the roast beef with smoked cheddar on squaw bread with sprouts. Seriously delicious!

I've only been here once so I don't really feel comfortable leaving a review yet. But staff was friendly and the food seems to be better with a bit more options than Subway and the like. I like their squaw bread. Review should probably really be a 4.5.

Outstanding! I’ve lived in Lancaster for over four years and I’m surprised at myself that I’ve never been there until today. VASTLY superior to Subway and other alternatives.

This place has good sandwiches, and fresh ingredients. The staff is helpful and friendly. The line wasn't to long and we got our food rather quickly. We both enjoyed it and I would definitely go back to eat there. Thank you Submarina and your to friendly staff also for the good experience.

As always, the service was outstanding. I phoned in the order and the very nice young lady, (name?? She told me and I forgot. Most unusual for me. ) was closing up the bags when I arrived. Submarina should give seminars to Subway. Not really I guess as its not even close. Particularly in respect to the service. Submarina will see me soon, Subway...not so much.

They have one the best club sandwiches in town . The bread is fresh . The meats are full of flavor. The staff is on point . I called ahead for the hours and even the person who answered the phone was very polite . We will definitely be back.

The sandwiches made here, in my opinion at least, rival subway and jersey mike's. The staff are professional and friendly, the food is spot on, with just the perfect amount of selections for sandwich toppings without leaving you overwhelmed. Amazing place to stop by, highly recommend

I was disappointed the last two times before this trip with Submarina. The first time they were sold out of the Au Jus for the french dip, then their toaster was broken and they couldn't make hot sandwiches. But since I love heir food I decided to give them one more shot and they were the Submarina of old.

Better than Subway. I tried this place not knowing what to expect.... I was really impressed. Their subs are crunchy, tasty, and full of meat. No doubt I'll tell all my friends about this hidden gem.

I've eaten the left-over halves from my co-workers for a while until I finally went there myself to spend money - that should tell you plenty. It's always good. Their French roll is really good for a sub place, and they slice the meat on the premises, which is faux-deli style. Their direct competitor is NOT Subway, it's Jersey Mike's. If you eat at Subway, you're doing it wrong. If you want a better sandwich, you'll have to go to an actual deli like Brooklyn Deli (Lancaster, CA) or Best of Europe (Quartz Hill, CA).

I drive from the East side just to get food here, not only because it's amazing, but the two ladies working today are always super helpful and diligent when it comes to customers...nothing better than great customer service with great food!!!

Submarina sandwiches are amazing!!!! The best I’ve ever had!!!! The white sub bread is always soft and moist and delicious 🤤 also the meats and toppings are so fresh and delicious 😋!!! Please support this place. Wish I got the 3 ladies name that were working today but I did not. Amazing service. Great sandwich. Beautifully made. Great attitudes from all working. Felt very homey. Like maybe my mom was behind the counter asking me what I wanted on my sandwich. I ordered the Santa Fe and also got some bread to take home. So cool they do that! 4 huge loaves for $5. Can’t beat that God bless those ladies ❤️

My SC family and I were visiting friends in Lancaster, CA and discovered Submarina California Subs. Don't let the strip mall location fool you. The staff were so friendly helping us figure out what sub suited us best. Being gluten free, I always hope my sandwich won't taste like cardboard. Submarina's GF sandwich hit the ball out of the park and my husband and son loved their subs as well. 5 out of 5 stars! Absolutely delicious! All I can say is, "How about a SOUTH CAROLINA SUBMARINA franchise??

I love having my sandwich made here because they take the art of creating subs very serious. You will not be disappointed at all. The ladies here are wonderful! They keep everyone smiling and laughing even after their sandwiches are made. They engaged with my son more than a few times and made him feel comfortable enough to want to keep talking. I noticed that the ladies were like that with everyone who came in. I hope they continue to be that welcoming. My daughter ended up leaving her purse but didn’t really have anything stating how to get it back to her if lost and one of the ladies ended up calling AAA and having AAA get ahold of us so that my daughter was able to get her purse back. They were on it, I mean I walked in my door 5 minutes before and already had a phone call stating that the ladies would keep it there until we got back. I just want to say thank you and keep being amazing! <3

I was looking for another sandwich shop. Navigated to this one, by accident. I’m so glad I did! This is my new fave sandwich shop. The sandwiches are so good! The veggies are fresh, the place is clean. The ladies there are so nice.

This place is great. The ladies exceptional Customer Service started from the phone call and carried all the way through checkout. Remember to tip to show appreciation. ( older couple ) And I waited 20 minutes to order my sandwich Definitely need to speed it up. So others don’t just walk out and eat somewhere else

Love the sandwiches. Don’t like the service. Wayyyy too slow, no personality, not polite. Went there for a tuna sandwich 2 weeks ago and was told I’d have to wait 20 minutes so they could make the tuna. This next time they had 2 new employees that acted as if they were being forced to work there. After paying, the one young lady slid my sandwich across the counter and walked away. No thank you, nothing. And no tiny cookies like they used to give out with every sandwich. Customer service needs a lot of help.

First time customer. Not acknowledged. I ordered a Santa Fe. I asked if the chicken was shredded. The girl responded Yes. It was not. Sandwiches were thrown together. The girl making the sandwiches was not friendly. She looked very unhappy. The meat Slicer looked like it had not been cleaned. Sandwiches were not set on paper, they were slid across counter. Too much $$ spent at Submarina. I will not be back.

I have been a long time customer several years and last three times I came here the same server tall male prepared my sandwich but service has been short flavor and content last time I ordered half sandwich he put 2 slices total of each meat on my Italian sandwich and loaded with lettuce tomato and onions and very dry. Tonight I ordered foot long same situation 4 slices of each meat and dry no flavor as many times before . I was very disappointed I drove clear across town because the sandwiches here were best in area but I’m sorry three times us too much I hope things change in the near future because you can pay way less over town and get a better sandwich.

Submarina used to be one of the premier sandwich shops in the Antelope Valley and I would've rated them five stars all day long; however, after they reopened due to the forced closures, I noticed that the bread was sometimes old and the quantity of meat and condiments had been drastically reduced to an almost undetectable amount. I'm completely sympathetic that through no fault of these large and small businesses that they've each suffered greatly to keep the lights on during these difficult and crazy times. My only suggestion would be to offer the customer the ability to size up to what your original established sandwiches were and charge more to help cover expenses. Best of luck during these challenging times.

Today I called to place an order for pick up. I was placed on hold but the employee didn’t realize I wasn’t on hold. As I was waiting to place my order she proceeds to mock my conversation that I am having with my son and says, “ I am tired of dealing with these customers, and proceeds to make fun of my conversation that I had with my son about my anxiety. She placed me on hold and I was waiting for her to take my order. She finally picked the phone up. I spoke with manager and requested owner to reach out to me but she declined to give me even a first name so I can call in when he/she is available. This was absolutely unacceptable. I don’t want anyone fired or anything but definitely brought to their attention. I didn’t order after all. So disappointed. You just don’t behave that way. Let someone else work that will appreciate customers and their job.

Decent sandwiches but not worth the incompetence. Ordered, they had run out of tuna and werent motivated enough to make more until I came in and ordred a tuna sandwich. 15 mins later and counting, starving, still waiting for them to make the tuna for my order.
