I ordered the party tray and had a hiccup with the actual order when I opened it at home, when I called to see if this could be fixed I thought they would be dismissive but honestly they were so nice, the girl at the front was very sweet and understanding and they didn’t give me any problem at all. That was really really great customer service. Thank you! The food was great!

I loved the food, I don't eat rice since I am diabetic, so she gave me extra veggies. I was able to say I don't want the zucchini and got the vegetables I wanted. There were a lot of people eating there, so that tells you it's popular, you should try it. I got the dinner which came with a salad, my friends got the lunch which came with a drink, since I got a combo it was 15.25 non lunch meal. The lunch is ten dollars and the dinner with only one meat, most were 10.99

I've been coming here for about 5 years now and I'm just making this review as I was just able to bring my friend here and she has many food allergies (gluten, dairy, seafood) and they were able to cater to her fantastically and that just really made my day as not many restaurants are willing to do this. Of course the food was wonderful as always I got the steak and they were a little skimpy on the meat but most places are so I'm not complaining especially as I got plenty of veggies and rice. I will continue to be a regular consumer of this place as they really make you feel at home. 💜

The lunch specials here are excellent. I had the 2 sushi roll combo with spicy tuna and tempura shrimp. My mom had the hibachi chicken. Both meals were great. Each special was $7.75. The only reason I'm not giving this place a 5/5 is cleanliness. Several of the booths still had food on the benches. The soy sauce at the table had a hair on it. The bathroom floor was a little dirty. With a little work, this place could be wonderful. I'll definitely go back.

I really went back and forth between 3-4 stars. The food was good not great. The prices are ok. The rice and steak & veggies were the best part. The sushi was better than supermarket but not even close to Tomo. But it is cheaper. The eat in experience is low and whether you plan to dine in or carryout... Order online or you will be waiting for a bit. All that being said... it is good food, you can take home!

First timer I tried the shrimp and chicken with fried rice and mixed vegetables.The shrimp was mushy the chicken was good rice ok the veggies was steamed good and the crab Rangoon were ok..OVERALL I’ll rated them a 6/10

Edit. Prices have gone up and service has gone down, very long wait times now. I'll probably still come here occasionally, but not regularly anymore. And for some reason they have sweet tea on tap and sweet tea brewed. The only diet I don't drink is Diet Coke and they ran out of coke zero, leaving me with a drink i really can't use. They really didn't seem to care. *********************************************** I really didn't expect much coming here, figured it would be another taste the same Chinese clone that you find all over everywhere. I was wrong, so wrong... I ordered chicken with fried rice, came with some yum yum sauce and a 20oz drink for $6.95 (lunch) *they actually have Coke Zero!* It was one of the best Asian meals I've ever had. It was fantastic in taste and freshness. Included an assortment of veggies as well: carrots, broccoli, zucchini and possibly more. The portions are average, enough to fill up most people, I was happy.

*1/5 stars - Disappointing Experience at Hibachi Japanese Express* I recently visited Hibachi Japanese Express with my wife, and the experience was a disaster. We placed our orders separately, with mine being non-spicy and his being spicy. When I pointed out the mistake, she argued that I hadn't specified it was for two people, despite my wife place order first and then me placing mine after hers. To fix the issue, they took my food and supposedly remade it. However, it appeared that they simply cleaned the same sushi and put it on a separate plate. I noticed orange sauce spots everywhere, which was concerning. My wife has multiple food allergies, this lack of attention to detail is alarming and could have led to a serious reaction. The service was also poor, with the register lady being argumentative rather than apologetic. Overall, I would not recommend Hibachi Japanese Express due to their carelessness with food preparation and handling.
