Bravo Italian Kitchen - Lansing

It's a nice place but we were looking for something more authentic. This is a restaurant in a mall. I'm 2nd generation Italian and this was more like American Italian. No offense but not close to genuine Italian. Nick, our server, was super wonderful.

The server Jimmy was great. He had an excellent recommendation for appetizers. The champagne was good and the Margarita was good. The veal parmesan was extremely dry and the breading was separated from the meat. The tiramisu on the other hand was good. The espresso was excellent. Jimmy did a great job and was attentive.

Nice Restaurant, good food with welcoming staff. We were a party of seven plus 2 babies. One of our party had a birthday coming up so they were nice by bringing a cake, and we ordered even more desserts, total of 4. Pizza was nice Italian style, just the way I like it. Pasta as well.

We got takeout from here. The food was pretty good though the presentation was lacking. Also the food was fairly expensive for what we got. My wife and I agreed that the atmosphere in the restaurant may make up for this but as a carry out option it just didn’t feel worth it.

My husband and I went to bravo today for our anniversary and the food was mediocre for the price. Our server wasn't very people-oriented. I feel that if he is behind the bar he shouldn't be waiting tables because it takes away from the service he could be providing for his customers. I sat with my water glass empty for quite some time before he asked if I needed anything. I just feel that the entire visit could have been a little better.

We went on a weeknight at 7:30 and there were plenty of open tables. Initially, we were seated near the door and it was quite cold outside, so they happily accommodated us moving a bit further away from the door. Our server was excellent. The prices have definitely gone up for everything although the calamari still is excellent and worth it. The venue is dated and old and the carpet looks like it’s the original from when they opened 20 -25 years ago. We’ve eaten here several times over the decades and it’s just disappointing that the venue is not being kept up and the carpet isn’t even being regularly cleaned so it makes you wonder about the kitchen area. We will come back. It’s just sad that it’s lost some of its former glory.

We were seated right away (2 people), the host asked if we wanted a booth or table to which we chose a booth. Service wasn't great. We waited atleast 15 minutes for our waters we ordered to arrive. Maybe they were waiting on clean glasses 💁🏻‍♀️, idk. We thought we were forgotten about. Not a single staff member noticed that we had been sitting for quite some time and we didn't even have a drink at our table. We ordered our meals when she dropped off our waters. I wanted a side salad, but they were out of salads (it happens I get it, but still comedic) The food was yummy. I had chicken caprese and my date had the chicken scallopine. Our server did not seem to want to be there.

We got there and it was dead my waiter was preoccupied with a couple. I saw our food the service window for a few minutes before the hostess served it to us.For being upscale this was a Wendy's like experience not the good kind. The food was okay flavors were good. Honestly feel that the value was not there tonight. 7/21/25 Thanks for the GARBAGE Ai response. I'd rather go hungry then come back.

I visited your Lansing, Michigan location on Tuesday, July 8, 2025. I was served a salad with brown lettuce and it was visibly expired lettuce. I asked for the manager, at approximately 7:20 PM. The manager, Chef Jon, told our server that he was too busy to come out, but that he will be over shortly. By 8:11 PM I had asked the server three times to contact the manager as well as the main hostess and he refused to come out from the back of the restaurant area. I informed our server that we would wait for our bill until he came over to the table. She informed him of this, and he told her to tell us the bill was on him and he refused yet again to come out to talk with me at the table regarding the visibly expired lettuce, as I was hoping to share quality control concerns from the kitchen. The entire staff was aware and we even asked other employees to ask the manager to step out and speak with us, but yet he was not willing to come out and speak with me and my party. I have never received such poor service from any restaurant experience, especially when it comes to leadership. I am very disappointed with this experience as we are in town visiting for work, and this was supposed to be our celebratory dinner for the hard work we've done. I would like a regional manager to contact me. We had to contact another restaurant in the chain to get contact information due to the lack of communication at the Lansing location. I have also contacted the Better Business Bureau about my experience this evening.

Food was subpar, salty and definitely not worth the cost of $135 for 3 people. While the server was incredibly nice, she was very slow and rarely checked on us, so I never had the chance to give feedback on how salty and cold my dish was. The restaurant wasn’t even full. Decor is dated. I had to switch out my chair 3 times to find one that wasn’t broken. For sure will not be coming back.
