I love having breakfast here and Coffee is always fresh. Pancakes with the blueberry syrup is my favorite combination!!

Always enjoy breakfast menu at any time of the day. The only reason I don't rate service with 5 stars is because sometimes serving takes a bit long... although I realize the reason is that the place is packed.

I enjoyed my breakfast meal on my downtime here in Laredo Tx. The food was good, friendly customer service, especially Martha( very sweet and cordial), clean setting, and very peaceful environment. I'll definitely be returning when I'm in the area again.

My son very much enjoyed the seasonal pancakes and hot cocoa, they were delicious. I was able to enjoy a great burger. With hot coffee. But Kirk our server, was truly great. I saw as he not only tended to our needs but was on top of the needs of at least 3other tables. Great guy , thanks Kirk.

I had an amazing experience thanks to our waitress, Yohana (if not mistaken)! She provided exceptional customer service, always checking in at the right times. Her energy really added to the whole dining experience. Definitely made our meal memorable, and I’ll be asking for her the next time I come back!

Our waitress Ashley was the best!!! Super friendly, great attitude!! The food was amazing! Compliments to the chef, Pearl. It had been a while since we visited this location but today’s experience and food was absolutely phenomenal!!! It’s definitely time to become regulars again. We came at 4pm on a Saturday and it was perfect, not too many people.

Is pretty much like always. First time stop at Laredo. Service was great we had a new waitress but she was really into the service. She had a backup lady teaching her and we were very satisfied 👍👍

Nice place to eat. Just expect more time to be attended on Sundays mornings because is super full. The pancakes are delicious and the shakes are well made. Just pay attention on the cleaning of the bathroom. Sometimes is kind of messy.

We had a basic breakfast. The food was good but when did a basic breakfast with coffee become $12 ?

Excellent service. The cooks shorted us a few items 4 straps of bacon etc. But our server fixed it quickly. There was no one to check out with so the lady answering the phone grabbed my server who once again gave Excellent service.

Every time we go here we get seated quickly, the food comes out in a reasonable amount of time, and the waitress we have is very friendly. It’s not exactly the cleanest but the service is good and the food is tasty.

Greeted promptly and cheerfully upon entering the restaurant. My waitress took a drink order right off of the bat. When she returned with my coffee and water I gave her my order. So far, very good! My over medium eggs were over easy with the yolk actually cool to the touch. I could deal with it and ate as is because I was very hungry. Halfway through I went for my pancakes and noticed the butter on top had not melted one bit. I spread it out on all three and it did not melt in any of them. Waitress just happened by and I told her about it. She took them back and returned with a fresh stack that I could see the steam rising off. I thanked her and spread the butter which had slid off the stack and realized there was only enough to grease the top cake. I used extra syrup to avoid the dryness of the pancake but it wasn't as good if I had had more butter. Waitress was friendly throughout but I noticed her staring at my uneaten pancakes yet didn't ask if there was a problem. Very clean restaurant and friendly staff. Finer points of cooking and meal presentation need work. I drive over the road for a living. Nearly every meal I eat is prepared in a restaurant. These types of occurrences happen on a near daily basis and are minor compared to some of the things I experience.

Had to see others being served first before us and we were waiting quiete a bit. Pancakes aren't that fluffy like mentioned like if they were on the stove longer than usual.

Because of their short on staff, we didn't get the full service they're known for. Overall, good. One particular staff member, who was obviously not part of the wait staff, but did go out of her way to help and make up for the bad service I got, made several trips to the back to get us syrups, napkins, etc. For THAT, I give 4 stars and not 3 or less. Thank you, ma'am! I wish I had her name. She deserved to be recognized

I have to say there has definitely been improvement in the staff & management team. Our waitress was very friendly. the only downside was that my drink refill "coffee" took so long. I was eating pancakes and well I had to drown my pancakes in syrup because they were so dry and well didn't have anything to drink. Other than that, overall service wasn't as bad ...

The waiters are so attentive and amazing. In all honesty, I like going near midnight on a week day. Its a little busy but its a good mix between busy and chill where the food constantly has to be cooked. During the morning, its very busy and it takes a little longer to get your food. However, the food is still good. Pancakes are bomb.

First time ordering online (website) and first time buying food from IHOP. Online ordering was fast and easy. The website was super easy to navigate. I asked for curbside pickup. They didn’t take long to bring out my order but they did forget the Oreo milkshake. The waiter was very friendly, apologized about the missing milkshake and quickly went back inside to make the milkshake. The food was pretty good and I was happy with my order. The outside of the resturant looks very clean and they have plenty of parking space.

Food could be better but it is enough because my daughter really loves pancakes. The servive however is by far the slowest I've exprienced in any restaurant I've been in here in Laredo. It is, of course understandable, given that only one server was present, but it has been that way for the last year or so. I hope this changes. I am willing to edit my review once this changes, of course.

Maybe it's not so fair that I gave it 3 out of 5 but my experience was not great. I have eaten here before but this time it was just bad service and bad food. The server sat us down as a party but it was very rare she came back to check up on us. She sat at the computer a majority of the time. Coffee was only refilled once,the food took 30 minutes maybe more,the food was just barely warm,the bacon undercooked pale and greasy pancakes were served last for the 1/3 of our party even as attention was called to our waitress she did not try to improve service on her end just ignored us as this was the best she could do. As said before. This is not the first time here at this location,never complained about IHOP before but this is the first.

They are not open 24/7. At least one night a week they shut down for cleaning. ALSO, at night you will not get all your change back when paying your bill. They will keep all the coins and will not tell you in advance or explain this theft unless you demand an explanation. I have called corporate office numerous times but this still happens every time. Sorry, it may be less than a dollar, but it's still theft.

In my experience, service is bad. The seating hosts always have bad attitude. Maybe there are too many tables to attend for one waiter. Manager(s) need to figure out how they can serve customers with a little more attention. If you are drinking coffee for sure you are gonna need a second cup. Well it takes forver to get a second serving. We got two sauce packets. I asked for more and only got one. 😂 We were a table of four. Very stingy with the sugars and sauce packets.

Pancakes are good but customer service is not. Limited seats available in the evenings, you have to sit just on one crowded side. They clean close to you while you're eating and throw everything around.

I love IHOP, but I think maybe I was too excited for what other items they can offer me. We went in at around 12 and the food took around 45 to an hour. Today was less packed then on days where there is more people and the time then was less than 20 minutes. The server was kind but the problem was her attentiveness to us, I took too long for a beverage refill. My family and friends food (being breakfast items) was looking as they usually do. But I had ordered a burger and I guess that's when IHOP stops being a quality restaurant. The meat was dry and crumbling on my plate, the tomatoes was the only and parts with parts of the stem still in place, worst about this was that I asked for no tomatoes, the tomatoes had been sitting there for a bit because when I did take them off they were mushy goo and was almost plastered to the meat. The lettuce was not crisp and in fact a soggy sad mess. I unfortunately would not recommend lunch and only would go for breakfast. I can only shudder in imagination what dinner concepts are like.

Never again. Took over an hour to get our food. Crepes were cold and soggy and flavorless. The steak looked grey, it was so overcooked. Bacon was burned and soggy at the same time. Didn't have any fountain drinks available. Floors were super sticky and bathrooms were filthy. Only good thing was our waitress who was nice. Regret going and spending $40 on horrible food.

Sorry for this, but this was not IHop service and definitely not a I Hop food. This Laredo, TX I Hop, did not have waffles in the menu, which is not acceptable. I'm a travel agent and use I Hop a lot in the United States. And they didn't even have several food me and my family asked for. The food received was not, definitely not for I Hop. Management team, please do something about it.

went late night due to som pancake cravings, got sat next to a family with unattended kids screaming and flinging their toy cars to our table. asked to move to another section and we were told it was closed, another server offered us a quieter section. took a while to bring the drinks and when we said we were ready to order server said she had to take another table beucase they were first. they hadnt even had their drinks yet and we were already ready. we asked for the tab and only asked to charge the 1 drink we drank but still charged the 2. its a shame becuase the food was good ihop was going pancakes right but we wont be going back after that experience.

Our experience today here was not good. We were seated right in front of the kitchen door where the as you can see the kitchen manager is painting the air vents right next to where the “clean” silverware is. We would get whiffs of paint every time an employee would go in and out. Didn’t even bother to stop even they saw we noticed.

Steak was cold and sweet, could hardly finish it; Did not remove the mushrooms like I asked. Did not make the substitution for the ham on our second dish. Waitress only came over twice after the food was delivered

Our server asked us one time if we're good or needed anything. The rest of the time we had to flag her down and ask for a refill, toast, more coffee, check. IHOPs are typically pretty decent food & friendly. The omelets were dry. I asked for extra fruit & whipped cream & she said it was inside the pancake. Utterly ridiculous. If I am ever back in the area, I will not be coming back here. Other IHOPs yes, this one, never.

I'm sorry, but I'll be speaking for some. This is not towards the servers,but the attentively to the customer from the time the order is placed to the time it's on the table. They're taking entirely way too long. We waited at least a good full hour from.sitting down, not waiting to be seated. That is unacceptable in a restaurant busniess. Either the cooks need to be re-trained or the managers need that! How it's a 4.3 rating right now is a surprised. Also, since when does a restaurant want to charge you for food you never received? That's their policy. "Once it's placed, you can't cancel it"

Awful service! My boyfriend and I went to Ihop last night and it was really bad customer service, we waited to be seated for like 10 minutes and the waitress would just pass by us and not even tell us what was going on or anything. I finally asked about if there was a waiting list or something and she was extremely rude, we just left after that. Never going back again, don't waste your time in going, go to Denny's instead, better customer service there.

Do not use this location for to go orders!!!! They failed to include silverware-syrup for the pancakes- the ketchup I called and requested. The driver should not be responsible for tampering with the food. All items should be located in the bag with the food!!!! I also got turkey bacon instead of regular bacon. Service is not very good. For a party of one it took for me to be seated 30 minutes when the hostess said 15. Then a waitress didn't take my order till another 12 minutes. The place is not crowded. There is enough staff. Waiting on my order. See how long that takes.

Very disappointed with this place. They wanted to seat us right next to the bathroom. I told them I didn't want near the rr. And the one in charge came with an attitude and said the back area wad close. I had to call general manager and gave them permission to seat us over the back area. And what do we see? Customers eating there already 🤦🏻‍♀️. Oh but it was close oh wow. And to top it off they took forever to give us our food! More than an hour when it wasn't that full..very disappointed 😔

Like 99% of costumer service businesses in Laredo, they cater to visiting Mexican citizens. Overall lack of the English language, horrible service ( Waited 1 hour for 2 pancakes and then they managed to mess up the order). I had to get with the manager to fix this and waited another 30 minutes for the food, which arrived half cold. If you like lines for seating and are handicapped no one will assist you or move aside. Best thing is to order online to avoid all the people and stress. (Be prepared that your order will be messed up).

11/18/24 dined in earlier Tonight and was not satisfied! I was coming In with family expecting to get the Nashville chicken with waffles and turns out not only did they take that off the menu but many other things were discontinued! Server was very distracted gossiping and seemed to be bothered for even making a request. They literally had no buffalo sauce! They took Forget to take my order even when I was literally the only Table there! I’m spending my hard earned money somewhere else from now on.

First of all we ordered 2 biscuits, and when the order came out they gave us one English muffin and one biscuits, we asked the waiter why the “biscuits” looked different and she said they are both made as english muffins it was just that one was sitting out for longer… like what? 🤣also the managers looked mad the entire time, and kept getting after their employees. It was a busy Saturday afternoon, and these managers didn’t seem willing to help their employees out. They were so rude to them even with the way they talk to them…now I see why they’re under staffed!! Literally the only person that was making the experience better was the guy picking up the dishes, he was so sweet and wanted to make everyone feel welcomed.

I went with my family this last Saturday and it was the Worst experience with the food not even close to how they make them seem the pancakes are suppose to look I ordered the New York cheesecake pancakes and did not get anything close to it …the “cheesecake” part didn’t even taste like that it tasted burnt and it was suppose to have strawberries but they barely even wanted to put any there wasn’t even enough to eat for the other pancake so I had to eat them all dry and let me say it was not cheap

We tried getting her attention multiple times!!! She was walking back and forth when customers next to us were asking for her too ! We ended up having to call another server for the check and a box to go, just because she never bothered to come.

Our waiter Brandon was very rude to us. I told him I wanted two bisquets with egg for my order, and he came back with a loaf of bread instead. With a good tone of voice and respect I explained to him that my order was a bisquette with egg, but instead of fixing my order nicely, he spoke louder telling us it was our fault for not being specific when we actually said with egg from the beginning. He paid no attention to our order and blamed us for his mistake. The food is great, but with waiters like him it's awkward to go again with the family.

The hostess was the worst I've ever dealt with. She grabbed the menu and began walking without saying a word then drops it on the table and walks off without saying anything to me. The wait staff was standing around talking where they pick up food from the kitchen for several minutes while I and others were waiting for service. I ended up walking out. Yall seem to forget (or most likely don't care) that bad customer service hurts business which then costs jobs...yours. I went to another restaurant down the road and received excellent service.

Tremendously Dissatisfied!! My wife ordered a coffee and got expired creamers. They served her regular milk because they didn't have new creamers. Then, she asked for tabasco, cholula, or pico de gallo, but they gave her a salsa pace instead. Finally, as we were going out the restaurant, my kids pointed out a cockroach on the floor. Bad experience with the IHOP restaurants and on father's day! We only went because my dad asked for IHOP. Will NOT recommend IHOP at all!!

I tried using a discount card I purchased from Nixon High School from Powerhouse Fundraising that has a 20% discount for this location and was told by the manager that they no longer accept it. They should have honored the remainder of the contract (3 months) and not have gone into business with them if they didn't want to anymore. I only went to this restaurant because of the discount, but I won't be going back.

The food was not as good as it used to be. I ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs. Oh My God!, the eggs were over cooked from what I had ordered. In addition, I request the gravy on the side and not on top of the steak. Oh no, they put the gravy all over the chicken fried steak. Food had not taste at all. Was missing seasoning. What a disappointment!

Food for thought presentation smell and that it taste good is everything to me I used to love coming here especially for pancakes but lately I find myself paying for more and leaving food behind because food isn't cooked properly and this isn't first time. There is a lot of people working servers and cooks I think for them taking over 30 minutes to bring our food cause it was cold when it got to us except pancakes which was brought 10 mins later. They need to manage time better as soon as good comes out take it to table and make sure food is cooked properly.Might want to have some one check AC cause its really stuffy.And one more thing pancakes always taste good when they just come out.
