Carve - Cannery Casino & Hotel

We are locals that live close to the Cannery so we never stayed there but we go a few times a month. We do miss the buffet, live music on the weekends and the Italian restaurant but sadly, things changed over the years. We love the people that work there. People like Joh, Greg, and the entire service staff that not only take the time to say hello each time we are there but remember what we drink and look out for us. This is what a local casino should be like. Thank you and keep it going.

Everything is state of the art that you use. Staff is highly professional and kind. Plenty of good attitudes and fun. Personnel is very helpful and fri.

Went to the movie theater, not the casino/hotel. The theater is amazing. Comfy seats good sound.

Just stopped for breakfast with a friend. The victory cafe staff was great!! We were 1/2 hour early and they had no problem seating us and bringing coffee after coffee!! Then when our friends came we had breakfast then sat for probably an hour afterwards visiting and they just kept serving drinks and never pressured us to finish. Cafe and casino were super clean and shiney This place doesn't give you that run down old vibe like a lot of other casinos do. My only complaint was the cigarette smoke smell but I know I'm in Vegas and it's normal there.

Went to movies, nice reclining chairs wasn't packed huge container of popcorn not much wildlife, go early for best experience

The cannary us a great casino and hotel that has been around awhile. Getting to it is a little rough off the main roads but the staff is always friendly and the bingo is great.

A ton of free parking. One of VEGAS' perks. Now we gotta lobby casinos everywhere in town to STOP charging Locals got parking

Truck parking on site and also on the back side of the building. Wide open during the week. Good luck to you on weekends!

The cannery is clean and the staff is nice. The coffee area near the check in was my favorite. The slots took my money but my mom got it back for me.

Only reason I didn't give the rooms in your reviews because I didn't actually stay there I stopped there to gamble for a little bit when I was driving. The service and the actual casino is impeccable though everybody's super friendly everybody's very helpful but the location gets kind of a three star cuz it's a long way out I guess depending on which side of town you live on. Definitely worth the visit though

Great job to the housekeepers that made the rooms super duper clean! The bathrooms were phenominal with minimal staining or streaks keep up those washers and give them a raise!

I didn't stay here, I just dropped off a friend. But had to stop in to use the restroom for my little one. The hotel is absolutely beautiful on the casino floor. Restroom was very clean. But there was one thing that really caught my eye. It's a non-smoking casino.. That's the only thing that would prevent me from booking a room for myself. Other than that it's super nice inside and plenty of parking which I loved.

I always like this hotel. It has an old school vibe without being overly flashy. They have beds and a nice bathroom. Is it fancy? Nope, but it gets the job done. I always feel safe because it is attached to the casino and I know security is always around if I need them. Also, tasty restaurants in the casino so you don't need to go far. We also enjoyed the swimming pool.

Great staff . Check in desk is right by the front entrance , you don't have to walk across the casino to check in. Small and intimate if you prefer the non Las Vegas strip experience.

Fairly nice hotel in close proximity to Nellis AFB. My room was clean and well maintained. I had an issue with my AC that was fixed less than an hour after reporting it. Lots of parking and in close proximity to restaurants. Nothing fancy, just a nice place to stay.

Pool is not heated 😂 but the hot tub was warm. Lots of places to eat near fhe hotel too!

I went there for the first time with my daughter, and my dog tank. He's a timber wolf and husky. And if my dog is allowed to come in well that's a good organization in my eyes. Cuz I don't go where he can go except for you know restaurants of course. Speaking of restaurants they have great food there I've been to the restaurants there. I play the slot machines and I want some money there I wasn't broke when I left. Staff is very friendly and in fact they even have a promotional promotional thing going on right now. If you join the rewards club you get all kinds of perks. I'm talking 30% off the restaurant food. Also you get a lot of points, and free play for the casino. Spell shape the first time sign ups. I highly recommended, see you there

A bit dated, but the bed is new and comfortable. No coffee in the rooms but there is a place for hotel guests to get it right by check in. Quiet room. Plenty of parking. Enjoyed our stay.

Definitely a get away from your normal las Vegas attractions. I like the fact that it's in Vegas but in a class of its own. Would definitely recommend coming here to play

I went during the week and it wasn’t crowded. 3/2 blackjack and the staff was friendly. There’s truck parking and offer 10% discount in their restaurant. I felt safe walking around the property as security is around patrolling.

This hotel was suggested to us after another hotel we tried to go into was booked full so we came here. It wasn't great but it wasn't bad either I got some decent sleep so I can't complain. The associates were nice and the breakfast there was coffee, cereal, muffins, and yogurt, juice, and water, in the fridge.

Please be aware that this is not a full casino/hotel review! This is specifically pertaining to the bingo hall, food court and the cafe. The 3 stars are for bingo. The hall itself is standard… neither outstanding nor poor. The atmosphere was cool, a little too loud in my section. The bartender Sheree was great! Would’ve rated them higher but the bingo caller was moving way too fast! As for the food court, if we can called it that with only 2 selections and one of them was closed…it was not worth any stars. The cafe was crowded with no leadership to situate who needed to be sat, or who wanted to order to go… just a cluster you-know-what with 1 employee. Not good Cannery. Will only return to watch movies at the Galaxy Theater.

My biggest concern was that it was way too smoky in the casino, lobby, check-in desk, and restaurants. Thankfully I was not on the first floor! The smoke from the casino rolled down the hall of the first floor where a few of my friends rooms were located. The food and the staff in the Victory restaurant were all terrific. We all had one meal (was supposed to be a “Luau” Hawaiian style. But the food was so bland and everything was over cooked. You would think the vegetables would be over cooked too! But they were very tuff and the only thing on my plate that was eatable was the white rice (the soy sauce helped)!!!

They're closing east side Cannery and it was SO much better than this 1. Better rooms better FOOD only thing better here is it was an amazing Theater. The location is terrible especially for us players from Boulder city and Henderson!!

The food and drinks in the sports bar are good. Nothing special. The machines are tight. Not one of our group won anything. The staff was super friendly and courteous.

Someone told the security they didn't like my outfit. Dont be madd at me bc u can't wear it. The security told me I had to leave and I used to go gamble in here all the time. Dont go as much anymore. Its hard to get a drink, u can spend hundreds of dollars and still wont see a waitress to get a drink. Its happened to me plenty of times.

Rooms are nice. Staff is nice but the cinema hit my card twice for the same amount a week after we had checked out

Pretty wack tbh. Machines are tight!!! Nedd to loosen up a bit,just keeping it real..this last time was the 4th time i went and most likely my last.

Machines are SUPER TIGHT!! only thing good about this place is the Cafe, wouldn't recommend coming here

Be ready to stay dirty during your stay...... because you will not get clean in your room.... you would be better off to get cleaned up at a gas station then you would in your room...... there is absolutely NO water pressure in the shower head... I mean it's not just low water pressure .. I have short hair and was not able to get the shampoo rinsed out... NO water pressure it just trickles out... not to mention all the extra fees and money you pay on top of the posted room rate... this place just plain sucks, the rooms are dirty and old... do yourself a favor and find a better Hotel.

Rooms dark. Not many lights. No fans in bathrooms to remove steam after showers. Everything on counters wet from steam. Heat lights in bathroom replaced with regular bulbs. No coffee makers in rooms. And this was supposedly a deluxe room???

Unfortunately I'm being generous. Every single time I've stayed here in the past 2 years there's been at least 1 significant issue, if not multiple significant issues. The entire tub didn't drain in one room and when trying to figure out why something fell off of the actual shower, a piece of hardware if that's the right word. Another time we're given the run around by multiple employees about how to go about using a washer & dryer (that they advertise use of and have signs up for only to then be told they're "only for the military." Last issue was minor but it was July 2025, 114 outside and the room was sweltering upon walking in. So gross and unwelcoming. The room "cooled" to a tolerable temp eventually but it's safe to say something was drastically wrong with the air flow. Called the gift shop a few times, never once did someone answer, just rings forever without bouncing you back to the front desk at the very least. The signs telling you where the pool is/how to get to the pool? I'm not sure what to say about that. I almost don't believe myself so just take a look yourself because they have me doubting my own eyeballs & brain. Went back to the room, called front desk, spoke to a very friendly kid who knew absolutely nothing about the place he worked. He was quite helpful in terms of sharing what he "thinks", "maybe has seen", or was "told by someone." Quite friendly though. If I can find the couple photos I know I have I'll update and show. In conclusion, they could do so much better. They should be doing so much better.

I was trying to enjoy my daughter’s 21st birthday, and we were having a good time until the waitress asked for her ID. After already checking it, she then went to get a security guard to verify the ID again. When I asked why my daughter was being carded a second time—as if the waitress couldn’t read—the security guard became hostile. This was supposed to be a special and happy moment, but instead it turned uncomfortable and disappointing. This is not a friendly place, and I would not return here. Very disappointed with the way we were treated.

Don't waste your time if your doing karaoke the guy has his pets that he picks and you will never get to sing, if they replace the karaoke guy it would be OK, so 1 stars for me and that's being nice. I was contacted by cannery, but we wont be returning to the cannery casino when I spoke up to waitress and gentlemen doing karaoke they were rude so my guest and I left and went home we didn't finish our meal and were not happy, were over it now, but it was our experience so might be a great place. We order one of our favorite meals ashame we didn't get to eat it because my guest was so upset.

I had gotten bitten twice on my derriere!! And I didn't sleep in their beds. An elder was sleeping in the bed and she was bitten 3x!! They are beyond. Expensive and it's not worth it!. Thankfully the location is great and there's plenty of other places to eat near by and there's also a Dotty's across the street so you can drink and gamble with the locals and not pay 20.00 for a pack of cigarettes !. I've never seen or heard anyone actually winning anything worth talking about. However it's the biting for me!!

I would recommend avoiding this place. Pretty gross. We’d driven past the Cannery many times when coming into Vegas to shop, but never been in. We were in town shopping in the area and it was getting late, so we decided to stay the night. There was a special on rooms, so we decided “why not” and thought we’d stay and see a movie. The good - the movie was great! Normal run of the mill movie theater. We had dinner at the steakhouse and the pasta was good. All of the staff we met or interacted with were great - very friendly and helpful. The bad: First was the $40ish resort fee that wasn’t mentioned until check in. Not a huge deal, but sort of annoying, especially since all of the amenities were closed by the time we checked in anyway. Then $100 incidental, which is more than most Hiltons. Suddenly the $78 room special came to about $233 by the time all was said and done. The casino is *extremely* smoky. Just walking through to the steakhouse house and waiting at the check in counter and all of our clothes and luggage now smell like an ashtray. Most of the folks hanging out in the casino are pretty sketchy. Folks strung out or looking like they’re about to fall asleep drunk…one guy seemed to be drinking abandoned drinks… We definitely thought this was going to be a little bit nicer place, it seems to be in a decent retail area of town (maybe we’re mistaken?) and the outside looks newer. Nope. Definitely pretty trashy. Reminded me of some of the old Reno and Vegas casinos that have closed in recent years. Again…regretting the $233, we could have just gone to double tree or something. The hotel hallways smell absolutely terrible. It smells exactly like an assisted living facility. Urine, feces, air freshener trying to cover it up…it’s real bad. Exactly that nursing home smell. And very strong. It was pretty hard to stomach walking from the elevator to the room each time. The room smelled smoky and they had used really really really strong air freshener to try and cover it. The air freshener was almost overpowering and smelled like urinal cakes. The room was sort of clean(?), but rundown. There’s only so much you can do when it gets like that. The towels and linens were over used - they had that musty smell to them and the scratchy kind of “bleached too many times” quality. Chips around the doors, edges of the laminate furniture and the mirror. Gross vents covered in dust and smoke residue. Sticky/grimy remote control, alarm clock and light switches. The pillows were definitely overused and needed to be replaced - they smelled bad, like thrift shop. The little brown blanket under the duvet was also in really bad shape. Drink rings on the nightstand. The bottom of the tub was black/gray with stains - I wore my sandals in the shower because it looked so dirty. The hallways and the room grossed me out. We almost left and got another room, but it was late after the movie and we already smelled like smoke from walking through the casino, so we decided to just bite the bullet and stay. But it was not comfortable being that grossed out. We pulled the duvet up over the pillows and just slept on top of it. Despite checkout being at 11am, housekeeping knocked on the door and then tried to enter the room at exactly 8:11 in the morning. We said we were sleeping but they apparently didn’t hear and came in anyway, then apologized and left. I just don’t understand - if you want housekeeping to come in at 8, make checkout at 8, not 11. Or at least wait until the guest has checked out before you send them in early. I had hoped to sleep in a bit before a long drive, but this woke us up and we weren’t going to get back to sleep. We ended up checking out by 9, which was probably for the best. Our luggage and clothes smell absolutely terrible after staying here. Like smoke and thrift shop and urinal cakes. The long drive today isn’t going to be great. Overall a pretty gross experience. We will definitely not be back. I will say that the staff all seem really nice and helpful, but the place is gross.

Horrible service. Sports bar didn't have a food server and bartender said if ypu want something you can come up to the bar and order your drinks and food. Very rude.

Can't say much about the place itself but stayed at a hotel down the road and tried to drink and gamble a little and the bartender actively avoided me, wanted to pay more attention to the TV then a guest, Asian heritage. Ended up leaving and spending no money

Service was good. Food wasn't. Chicken and fries could have been cooked a little longer. Coffee was good but wasn't hot😑
