Normally, I am not giving 5-stars. The place must be outstanding. Not only the service was perfect, but the food was unimaginable delicious. Every fish super fresh and melting in mouth. Crispy rice was nice and crispy, absolutely not dry. The pleasure from the food is very hard to explain. I would expect that from high-end restaurants. I am located in NYC, so the prices in this location were very reasonable for the kind of food, but underpriced if you consider the quality and service. We asked about the happy hour, turn out it is available by the bar/ lounge only. We rather to have full menu and stayed within restaurant table. To our surprise we got discount on the delicious drinks, without even asking for it - just because we didn’t got the happy hour prices (which was our decision). Overall me and my friends enjoy that place very much and definitely gonna come back whenever we are in Las Vegas.
Where to begin, KOI! Simply amazing. The service, the food, the atmosphere. It’s a toss up as to which was the best. Start with the atmosphere, it may be one of the only places in Las Vegas to have a quiet/romantic meal, even the priciest steakhouses can be as loud as the strip. The food, coming from Seattle located on puget sound we have some of the finest seafood in all of the world and a heavy influence of Japanese culture in our local cuisine. Koi hands down beats any sushi restaurants in the Seattle area. The fish was fresh, the rice was perfectly cooked. The flavors blended nicely but were all still subtly noticeable. The crab salad was real crab and not seafood salad. Last but not least was the service. I hate to say I don’t recall our servers name however I assure you the service was five stars. He and his staff made sure we felt totally taken care of. It was my girlfriends birthday dinner and sushi is her favorite. From the special champagne accommodated for us to the miniature birthday cake and the wonderful conversations with the staff you can not find better then koi! Simply put my girlfriend had the #BestBirthdayEver thank you Koi.
Amazing Vegas culinary experience! We got the Koi Night Out Menu for $129 per couple. Value was amazing considering that every dish surpassed my expectations both from taste and portions. The service was also amazing. We ordered red wine with dinner - Sebastian Cabernet Sauvignon which paired well with this meal. Definitely worth trying!
If you’re looking for a great tasting, hip and romantic sushi place in Vegas, this is the place to go. The restaurant has a club vibe, and it does turn into a club sometimes. High quality, fresh sushi and fish. I’d recommend getting anything at this restaurant, you can’t go wrong with that. If you are early to your reservation, you can just go sit at the bar, order drinks, and they have first come first serve couches where you can serve a limited amount of appetizers. They have a happy hour everyday before 7. Friendly staff and great service too.
Loves it! I had salmon and it was very good, one of the best I've ever had. My wife got sushi and she loved it. Our waiter was awesome and gave great recommendations. We will return next time we are in Vegas.
This is definitely one of my favorite Sushi spots in Vegas. Koi is located in the Planet Hollywood Hotel and Casino on the strip and is a remarkably beautiful restaurant, perfect for dates or dinner events. The service is top notch, we never had to wait for anything, as our server and his help were constantly checking on us. The manager, Miriam, was amazing, particularly with the recommendations and with making us feel welcome. It was as if we've known her forever. The food is absolutely amazing. From the crispy rice to the tuna tacos and every roll we tried, you cannot go wrong here. Even the cocktails were magnificent. My favorite, the Coconut splash, was so good I had to take a picture of the recipe so I can make them at home. The prices are typical of a sushi restaurant on the strip, but everything else is so far beyond.
Found this place by chance, cus we felt like good Japanese food and man oh man, are we soooo happy we found this place! The food is AMAZING! Everything from the presentation to the taste to the portion sizes was just PREFECT! It's quality over quantity and you can definitely taste the quality of their food! Equally as good as their food was, was the service you get here! Our server Neil was soooo friendly! She was always happy to explain the menu! Not only that, but our drinks never stood empty for any length of time, the servers were always there to fill our glasses and take our plates to help clear the table. Also... the ambience of this place is 2nd to none! We had a nice view of the Belagio water show and it just made everything prefect for our 10yr anniversary dinner! We will DEFINITELY be back again!
Sat at the bar and everything was so good and well expedited. Eddie took care of us and kept the food coming constantly! Try the rolls, the yellow tail, salmon and tuna sashimi were all excellent!
We highly recommend! We sat at the bar because the main dining room was booked to capacity. The bartender is awesomely AMAZING! We secretly think he could run the whole show by himself. The food was incredible, with fresh ground Wasabi served. From apps, main course, to desserts it was worth the experience.
Amazing food. They nailed the flavors and textures they were going for and are unique to them. Prices were reasonable for the exceptional quality of the food. Restaurant was nice and quiet, a pleasant retreat from the casinos. Wait staff was on top of it with drink refills and explaining the dishes. Will definitely visit if I ever go back to Vegas again!
The afternoon started out on a bad foot. Our usual Sushi restaurant was closed for renovation. We were at a loss for where to go. Thankfully, a gentleman nearby informed us about Koi Las Vegas. We made the treck through the heat over to Planet Hollywood and up the escalator to Koi (Next to the Chris Angel show). We took advantage of the Happy Hour menu. We enjoyed some great drinks and an order of California Roll and the Creamy Shrimp Tempura. The shrimp was probably the best shrimp I've ever tasted. And the California Roll was delishious. We will definitely be going back.
Was looking for a tasty dinner after a pool day and stopped by Planet Hollywood. I was immediately drawn to the Koi sign because I had been to a restaurant of the same name in Maui. I asked a guy at the front stand if this was the same chain and he confirmed. I knew immediately that I wanted to try this location and see if it was just as good. The guy gave me a coupon for but 1 get 1 appetizers which I thought was great customer service on his part. I went upstairs to the restaurant and sat at the bar. I found out it was happy hour so instead of using my coupon I opted for the happy hour menu and gave my coupon to some ladies sitting next to me. I ordered the dumplings and the creamy shrimp. Both were really good. As I was finishing my meal, I overheard someone asking about a patio. So I asked the bartender about it. He offered to escort me there. He took me out to a really nice balcony. It was empty but a great spot to see the strip and the sunset. I really liked this location and will be back.
The service here was AWESOME. We had a huge party and our server was fantastic and patient while we were chaotic and it made the experience great. Everyone loved their cocktails, and we ordered quite a few rolls and shared plates which everyone loved. Fan faves were the green beans, lobster tacos, salmon carpaccio, the sin city roll, and the crunchy red spider roll. And of course the crunchy rice! Would definitely return here.
Awesome sushi and super fast service. We had an incredible meal. Prices are a little high but not too bad for how good of an experience we had. Not to mention it being inside a casino. I would fully recommend this restaurant to anyone. Probably some of the best sushi I have ever had.
Really really good and high quality sushi! Quiet atmosphere. Beautifully decorated space. Our server was Journee and she was the best. She had a fun headband and was fun to talk to. Cocktails are unique. My husband had the whiskey flight which was excellent. The crème brûlée was excellent. It had chocolate in it, which was a nice twist.
Great service and decent pricing, but nothing special about the sushi. Came here for dinner and our server was awesome. She was very attentive and took care of us. Surprisingly one of the cheaper options for sushi, but it really wasn't anything out of the ordinary. Still good, but nothing special
This restaurant is so underrated. The food and service were great! Sad that the front of the restaurant doesn’t look as appealing as the back. The main dinning room is gorgeous and has a great vibe. Again food was 10/10. Delicious sushi!
Love it here! Great food and service! Happy hour is a great deal and value overall! Usually est in the main dining but the Happy hour is so cheap and offers good things. Unless you want some special dishes you can fill up at happy hour for alot less!
Last minute booking but don’t regret it at all! The sashimi was fresh and the rolls very tasty. Beautifully decorated and very friendly service. Definitely a recommend and must try!
Glad we came here. Awesome service and delicious food. Loved the atmosphere. Everything is more than reasonably priced. You will not regret it!
The nite out fixed price menu is a good variety of appetizers and rolls. Very delicious and fair price. Service is excellent.
A very nice place. We bought Groupon with tasting menu, which included miso, sushi, tempura shrimps (They were heavenly!), rolls (original, fancy, tasty). The Koi style cheesecake was a fine treat! The interior is dark but pretty. The service is very friendly, fast and caring.
This is my favorite restaurant in all of Las Vegas! All the food and sushi is amazing. I’ve tried the Tiger Prawns and all their sushi! It was to die for!! The service was top, and so are their specialty cocktails! Give this place a try!
If you go… try the crispy rice. Really that good. Everything tasted great, service was friendly and attentive. Place needs some updates. Has like an empty night club vibe. But the crispy rice….
Great food all the time. Alway amazing friendly service. Hands down, this is my favourite spot on the strop for happy hour. Exceptional deals on food and drinks. The crispy sushi and tempura shrimp top choices but they are all exceptional.
I’ll keep it short and simple: loved it. Their happy hour is a home run!! Great service, cool atmosphere. The lounge has a great vibe.
Really cool sushi spot/nightclub to go to before a show. I had the kobe beef potstickers with their mindfreak cocktail. The atmosphere was very club-like but I didn't mind. The service with superb and kind. The sake was very well-priced too! Yuzu zalmon roll was delicious!
Great sushi spot in the heart of Vegas! We did their prix fixe menu and loved every single dish. Our server was so great too!
I went for Happy Hour on 9/11 around 8PM. I wish I could remember my server's name, because she was incredibly warm, inviting, and attentive. My sushi was fresh and delicious - food came out fast! It was an all-arouns flawless guest experience. Beautiful lounge area, too. I will recommend this place to all my friends and will certainly be back. I'm so glad I tried it!
Made a reservation here on a whim and absolutely loved it. Everything we ordered was delicious, fresh and had creative flavours that all came together perfectly. Nice setting and great service. Will definitely be back - new fave restaurant in Vegas!
we are happy with all the dishes we ordered. Service is good . If u are looking for Japanese food in Vegas, definitely recommend to try this place.
Amazing experience. Tried their 3 course menu and was extremely satisfied. The staff was very friendly as well. Let the pictures do the talking.
Had a lovely solo experiment here. My server, Ocean, was pleasant, happy and very accommodating. Food was great, sake was hot, crème brûlée was delish! Love the atmosphere - all servers were attentive, my water glass was always full. The manager stopped by to ensure all was well. This was the perfect treat after a great spa day.
We had the tasting menu and it blew our mind. Everything was delicious and the flavor combinations were amazing. We will be back.
Awesome experience must ask for the real wasabi our waiter was great. All the employees from hostess to chef, food runners were amazing. Couldn't ask for a better place to dine at. Thank you for knowing what real wasabi and sake is not the fake stuff provided at most places.
Mind-blowing sushi restaurant that turns into a club after hours. Happy Hour is 5-7. Best lychee martinis in Vegas. I love sitting at the bar, Charlie & Visente are masters of mixology. Try the Sin City Roll & Kobe Pot Stickers, you won’t be disappointed.
Koi as always never disappoint. We celebrated our 27th anniversary here, and was delighted to be back for our 29th. Everything was perfect, from the hot sake 🍶 to the espresso martini - Tweety was out server and did an amazing job!
This a yes. The food AMAZING. The service OUTSTANDING. The bartender EXCEPTIONAL. I would go here over Hell's Kitchen any day.
Sorry about the pic; I started eating before remembering I was supposed to take a pic. We came here last year and absolutely fell in love; this visit was just as great. I got the ginger salmon again. It's cooked flawlessly and I love the bed of veggies that it is served on. I also got the miso soup and a green bean appetizer (I forgot what it's called), both of which about knocked my socks clean off. The restaurant is dark, but in a good, intimate way, and I liked the music (throwback 2000's to my recollection). Andy was our server and took care of us well. We ended things with the creme brûlée and not a plate was left un-cleared. It's truly the perfect dinner spot for us.
Great customer service, awesome vibe, good sushi, nice wine list, excellent experience. I was hesitant about making reservations here after reading some of the reviews but we had an excellent customer experience. We were able to make last minute reservations (2 hours before- there was a short wait when we got there for non-reservation folks but we were seated right away. They asked if we were going to the show and kept three chatty drinking ladies on schedule so we were at Britney on time. I love that you don't feel like you are at the casino when you are there - my clients really liked the atmosphere and raved about the food. Would go again.
We visited Koi for a meal before attending a show, and the experience was commendable. The service was top-notch, enhancing our dining experience. I chose the salmon, which was cooked to perfection and very flavorful. Additionally, the spicy margarita was a great choice, adding a delightful kick to the meal.
Overall, it was a good meal. We were able to try a variety of dishes. The desserts were the most notable— the cheesecake and mochi were delicious. I will say that the overall service could be improved, from a friendliness and helpfulness standpoint.
Elegant and refined sushi dining experience is the theme at Koi. It was pretty easy to get reservations on a weeknight. We started off with some sake flight and cocktails--the minderaser was excellent. We shared some apps and rolls, like the tuna tartare, lobster taco, sin city roll, hamachi roll, and geleno roll. The sin city roll was definitely our favorite.
We went to Koi on our last night in town, our server was super nice and attentive! Some of our drinks/food were taking a bit longer to come out, which was fine with us because we were talking and catching up with friends, but they made sure to make up for the delay which we appreciated! Sushi was really good so were the desserts.
So we stopped in here to have a quick drink and a snack before going to see our show the other night. We were super happy with the staff. They were very friendly and attentive. The bartenders made some good drinks and were happy to help and serve you. They had a small happy hour menu which was nice and great prices on drinks compared to other places in the strip. We had the spicy edamame which was very good. Worth checking out if you are at this hotel
A group of ten of us had the New Year's prix fixe menu to ring in 2022. The food was good, but nothing extraordinary for the price though.
This place is right above the casino. It took us a while to find it since the name is not listed in the directory (I had to call the restaurant for exact directions). Overall the food is decent. We loved miso cod, it was one of the best cods I've had it in a long time. The reason behind my rating is this is more of fusion Japanese place. Except the cod everything was okay. Crispy rice spicy tuna was not at all spicy. Cucumber cocktail was good but the other one was not good. Also, it seems as if it's fine dining place but the music was super loud and the choice of the music didn't fit with the ambience. Also it's a non-smoking place there was a lot of smoke in the air (maybe from casino). This would be one reason I'd not go back there. Other than that, place is decent.
Great experience. Big restaurant, the food is good. Not the best sushi I ate honestly but it’s ok. Chris served us and we had an amazing service! Except the service was a little bit slow but that’s not his fault. He recommended us the coconut martini and it was delicious! I loved the cheesecake also 😋
This place is a disaster when it comes to service. The waitress was MIA most of the time. It took almost 20 min to get drinks and went down hill from there. The food didnt taste bad when we finally got it. And only about 1/2 the tables were full. Would hate to see what happens when they are busy!
I was a guest at the hotel Planet Hollywood and decided to go to one of the restaurants within the hotel. I chose Koi restaurant. When I was seated nobody came and welcomed me until 12 minutes after I arrived. This was due to a Big party at the restaurant. When I was acknowledged I was immediately asked if I wanted anything to drink. I thought to myself where is the welcoming for coming to the restaurant. Hmmm.....so I gave my drink order which was hot tea. The tea came after 5 minutes of ordering. When asked for my food order I was told it would take about 10-15 minutes since the Big Party was ordering food. In all due honesty I was not fond of the food or the service.
