Excellent food. Very authentic spices. Many time spicy means more chillies, but this was different. Highly recommended. We tried the Chilli Momos (veg), Chole Bhature and chilli paneer. Edited about couple of years after my first post, food is as good as before and the flavor continues to enamor my family!! Here is my second edit, continues to be great. If you are going here, you are going for the spice. If you are going for the spice, better upgrade all the way to the "Lali Special Spice", costs a $ or so more, but worth every penny. They have moved to a food truck park from the gas station. The park itself is less than impressive, I really hope they find more success here. Disclaimer is that all food that I have had from here is vegetarian.

I wasn’t expecting too much coming from a takeout in a gas station. But it was surprisingly good. We had 4 different dishes and all were delicious. I ordered through their website for pickup and it was done on time.

Pleasantly surprised by the wonderful food we ordered via Uber eats from here! We were craving Nepalese momos and we usually order from another place . But wanted to try this new restaurant for a change . We ordered the vegetarian chili momos (medium spicy), chicken biryani (medium spicy) and rasamalai. Everything tasted great! The spice level was so apt for us and we usually do not prefer biryani that is heavy on the masala and this one was just right with the correct amount of spices for us and really tasted good . Rasamalai was soft and well made . Chili momos were the highlight and were really good ! Will definitely order again from here or go in person to check out the ambiance and service .

We moved to Leander a few months ago and a family member raved about Lali Son. I couldn’t fathom something so amazing being housed in a gas station but boyyy did I quickly learn how wrong my initial assumption was! The food is fantastic- we ordered online & it was ready hot, fresh and on time. We ordered the crispy wings spicy and the spice level was perfect- polished it off so quickly that there was no chance of getting a pic. I could literally eat the Chicken 65 Biryani every day, it’s that good! Can’t wait to try their curry dishes and will probably get the Family Combo next time so that there’s a slight chance of leftovers :) Highly recommend Lali Son!!!!

I stumbled across this place while I was looking for a closer Indian restaurant online and decided to try it since the reviews were so good even though it’s inside a gas station. I ordered the chicken tikka roll medium spicy, veggie samosa and the buttered naan bread. The employees were very helpful, I had asked about the size of the roll to make sure it’s not the size of an egg roll and it’s the size of a regular wrap thank goodness! It was so good, fresh veggies good seasoning, it did come with a green sauce and a red. I have no idea what the sauces are but the green kinda tasted minty maybe and the red is a sweeter one (my husband ate all of the red sauce.) The veggie Samosa was medium spicy, plenty for us, they were good too. The naan bread was buttery as I ordered but are just a little thinner than I like. They weren’t fluffy like I’ve had at other places, it was more like a homemade tortilla. We will definitely be back I can’t wait to try the buttered chicken! Online ordering was super easy. I didn’t see any table and chairs inside but they did have a couple outside.

Home sick and craving some comfort food and I decided to finally give Lali Son a try… and I am SO HAPPY I DID!!! The service was fast, a great price, and the food is just wonderful 😍 I got the butter chicken and it was cooked to perfection! The chicken is tender and juicy, and the sauce is so warm and comforting! I could not have asked for a better lunch! Please try Lali Son ASAP…don’t wait and miss out like I did!

Me and my family love this place! whether we pick up, or deliver, the food is always hot, delicious and made timely! My favorite menu items are the garlic naan, spicy chicken tikka masala, and the samosas! so good everytime! lots of flavor, and so many items to choose from! staff is very sweet, i love ordering for my family and having a feast. Check this place out, it’s a real hidden gem, the pricing is also great too.

Naan bread (buttered) -> 5/5 Overall 5/5, I would recommend the food. Don't let the gas station exterior persuade you to not enter. This place offered the best of small business customer service with the efficiency of a corporation. I enjoy seeing small businesses like this one.

This is not the chicken schezwan noodles what they gave in their photos. No taste and only taste is full of black pepper and too too much soya sauce. The smell is ridiculous. I think the cooked chicken mixed here. Sorry to say, the chicken lolipop taste is not good, too much salt.

This was my second time ordering Lalison and extra Lalison fried rice. The first time was great, but yesterday was a complete disaster. The fried rice had no flavor and tasted like plain rice with some unpleasant spice. I couldn’t even finish two spoons. I waited a long time late at night for this order, which made it even worse. Never ordering from here again.

I ordered Lalison and extra spicy Lalison fried rice. Previously, the food was amazing, but this time it was the worst fried rice I’ve ever had. There was absolutely no taste, and it felt like I was just eating rice with some weird spicy powder. It wasn’t even chili powder. I couldn’t eat more than a few bites. On top of that, I waited an hour late at night. Extremely disappointed and won’t be ordering again.

I recently tried this food truck, and unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. The bread was half-cooked and doughy, making it really unappetizing. The chicken curry was extremely watery and lacked any real flavor. To top it off, the momos had terrible stuffing, which was far from tasty. Additionally, the wait time was excessively long, adding to the overall frustration. Overall, a very underwhelming experience that I wouldn't recommend to anyone.
