You gotta check this place out! The food (bagel sandwich) and iced black tea I had were delicious! The owner and his wife were very welcoming and answered all my questions. The atmosphere was crisp and clean and the interior was well laid out. I will be back for sure!

Service was great and everyone was willing to provide information on different drinks. I ordered the Protein Velvet Ice. The small had 20 grams of protein and 190 calories. The drink was smooth and flavorful. If you don’t like protein, you might not like this drink. My son had a cold brew with cold foam, it was good too.

PJ's Coffee on Hero Way consistently delivers an exceptional coffee experience. The friendly and attentive staff, particularly Victoria, always go above and beyond to ensure a delightful visit. Their speed of service is remarkable, making it a perfect spot for a quick caffeine fix or a leisurely coffee break. The quality of their beverages is top-notch. I highly recommend trying their delectable Beignets and the rich, creamy Caramel Coffee. PJ's Coffee is a true gem in Leander, offering both a welcoming atmosphere and a truly satisfying coffee experience.

The owners of the Leander location are fabulous! They stay well informed on their products, keep the location clean, and are always friendly, professional, and helpful. I'd visit more frequently if I didn't live 45 minutes away! I've been a loyal PJ's customer since 1996 in New Orleans and usually have my bagged coffee shipped directly. Whenever I'm close to Leander, I make it a point to stop by in person.

My sisters and I decided to get coffee here so we could sit and talk. I like coffee but I'm hesitant about drinking it because some places will cause me to have acid reflux (highly uncommon for me) or really bad indigestion. The barista..very nice man. I'm big on customer service and he fits the bill. He knew his stuff and let us know the process that went into making our drinks. I got the Pralines and Cream coffee in a small only because I wasn't sure if I was going to like it. That was a mistake. It was so good! It had a nice, smooth, warm cuddle-up-on-the-couch-with-your-favorite- blanket type vibe. It wasn't overly sweet or syrupy. My sister ordered us some beignets. They were light and fluffy. There was a lot of powdered sugar in the bottom of the bag so they probably could have cut back a little bit on that. I ended up not having any acid reflux or indigestion from the coffee so that definitely boosts my interest. Next time I visit I will definitely come back.

if you haven't been there in a bit, go back, they have added lots of goodies to the menu and they are all great. The staff is super friendly. And my dog loves the pup cups and the staff. The inside is warm and inviting. Clean and furniture that is clean and able to wipe down, place smells great. Always bright and wifi is good, could hang out here on your laptop or visit with friends for hours.

The owners are incredibly sweet and genuinely welcoming — they always greet us with a smile, and it truly feels like they’re happy to see us every time we come in. What I love most is how accommodating they are. If you take a moment to chat with them and let them know what kind of coffee you like, they'll make something perfect just for you. Their coffee is consistently great, and their kindness makes every visit feel special. It’s rare to find a place with both amazing drinks and such heartfelt service. Highly recommend!

Best coffee in the greater Austin area. Cold brews were amazing, breakfast sandwiches were fantastic, and the beignets make me miss NOLA badly! Don’t ever leave Leander!

All the drinks and food here is top notch and always tasty!! Thank you for the amazing service! I like the energy drinks taste good without the added chemicals of energy drinks from redbull and the prices are just as fair!! 100/10!

I always come thru drive thru because I just rolled out of bed but service is fairly quick and love the coffee from here. I’ve had beignets from here and croissants are also very good. Still need to try the rest of the menu. Aside from the good pastry items the staff here is always so nice and friendly. I have never had a bad experience here.

10/4/25 Update: Was told there's a new policy to charge $1.50 to reduce ice and adjust a tiny bit more liquid. This is a cheap method of screwing the customer. Not to mention my drink today tasted burnt, kind of like starbucks. Original review: We were getting food next door and decided to stop in for a coffee. The gentleman behind the counter was super nice and helpful and we all ended up getting drinks that we liked. Will definitely be returning.

BEWARE!! This morning was a little concerning. I ordered a medium coffee in the drive thru. The lady placed the paying device out the windows and I scanned my card to pay. As always, the device gives options for me to tip in several different amounts. I scanned my card and waited for just a second to either tip or not. However, the lady this time quickly took away the device and place it on the cou ter with the tip screen still open. Had I drove off, this lady could have tipped herself any amount. I asked her to give me the device back so I could close it out. She acted like, OH, here ya go. No. This was intentional amd deliberate. Beware folks, close out your pay device or they will rob you blind. I must be honest here. There's hardly anyone here every time I visit. No cars lined up in the drive thru. No crowds of people. No lines inside. Options are very little. How does a business like this stay open with little income stream? Hmmm

Cons - This place is insanely overpriced, no drink is worth the money they are asking for and the quality is franchise-corporate quality. The customer service is hit or miss depending upon what time of day you go in and I think the staff could be more helpful and inviting. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend them. Check out Mojo, Summer Moon, Matinee, or even Scooters coffee for a much better experience at more affordable price points with higher quality products. The staff has consistently been fantastic at these other establishments and they genuinely appreciate your business!

coffee is fine, food is okay. however, i’ve been here two separate occasions to try and get some work done and both times the wifi crashed out on me. i don’t recommend coming here if you’re trying to get work done. planned to be here a couple of hours and had to leave.

Ordered a 16oz hot latte with an added expresso shot and I get a cup not even full it’s half way filled ? I don’t know what kind of service this is but I will not be coming back here. Not worth it.
