OMG! Drive to Leander for best pizza and atmosphere !!!! The pizza is DEVINE, and laid back relaxing atmosphere ! The owner came up and talked to us, super sweet- and offered examples of other family favorites! Heard so many good things shoot the dry rub wings, and other good items / speciality food!! Including smoked brisket - it runs out! Worth the drive !!! My hubby asked for bartender to be stocked in shiner! They ran out ! lol 😆. Free pass but let’s stay stocked ! lol 😆
Like mangia pizza but with better dough. Wings were the perfect amount of crispy so they didn’t turn into chicken jerky but also were not soggy. The pizza itself is awesome as I love a good Chicago style pizza. Cooked all the way through and had the perfect amount of everything. Bar has an awesome selection and it’s dope to see a bar with a ton of wine wines. Their happy hour looked pretty decent as well. Staff were friendly but seemed like they were over the day but it was a Sunday football day and we came in after the cowboys game so I imagine they may have been slammed. We did a smaller Chicago style pizza with pepperoni and sausage, the large order of wings, a white claw, east cider and two vodka sodas. Was $72 but left with half a pizza and half a dozen decent sized wings. Overall, this place is awesome and worth checking out.
I first had doubts about this place but we walked in ordered it's not only a pizzaria it's a pub as well. Very nice atmosphere the service is on point and has the a crispy crunchy pizza crust along with great toppings I had a half ham pineapple and the other half Italian sausage with pepperoni I have to it was delicious. I recommend this place for good pizza.
My husband and I visited Sabinos Pizza Pub for the first time, and we were so impressed from the moment we walked in. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and had a fun neighborhood vibe that made us feel right at home. The food was absolutely delicious. The pizza was packed with flavor, perfectly baked, and you could really taste the freshness in every bite. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into the quality of their ingredients. The service was equally impressive. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, attentive, and genuinely made sure we had a great dining experience. It added such a personal touch to our visit. Overall, our first visit to Sabinos Pizza Pub was a wonderful experience. Great food, great people, and a great atmosphere—we couldn’t have asked for more. We’ll definitely be coming back again!
Sabino's Pizza Pub has become our family's go-to spot for the perfect pizza night experience. Their honey chicken wings are a must-try appetizer - perfectly crispy, glazed with sweet honey that perfectly balances the savory seasoning. The Margherita Pizza on thin crust is simply outstanding, with fresh basil, vibrant tomato sauce, and perfectly melted mozzarella creating that authentic Italian taste we crave. Their pepperoni pizza deserves special mention - the crust has just the right amount of char, and they don't skimp on the pepperoni, which crisps up beautifully at the edges. The warm, welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff make every visit feel like you're part of the Sabino's family, whether you're dining in or picking up takeout for a cozy night at home.
Had an excellent post-movie early Black Friday dinner here today and it was outstanding! Shared a caprice appetizer, habenero wings and a pizza. Wings were very flavorful and crispy. Pizza was very cheesy with crispy crust. Service was super-quick and food was hot. Delicious food made the afternoon perfect!
We were staying at the local KOA and needed something to eat. Found this on google maps of places close by. We were not disappointed. We can’t seem to get good pizza in our own city and we decided to splurge at this place. Bbq pizza. This was pretty good. Better than your typical bbq pizza at other restaurants. We took off jalapeños and added black olives instead. Meatball sub. It’s simple. Meat. Sauce and cheese. It was soooo good. My favorite dish by far. The meatballs had great flavor and the cheese was good too. I’d recommend it. We also got the gyro roll. I’m not a fan of lamb meat. This is the regular gyro meat that has a mixture of beef and something else. Was happy it wasn’t straight lamb. It was very good. My husbands favorite. Cheesy breadsticks are like a small pizza with just cheese and garlic butter. Exactly how I used to make them at my restaurant years ago. Tasted great. We travel quite a bit and run into some real stinkers for restaurants but we were so happy to find Sabino’s. The food was very good. Fresh. And made for pick up within the quoted timeframe. We are glad we now have a restaurant we can rely on when we come through this way again. Thanks!!
Lots of kids, but it's pizza, so just know it's a thing. Full bar, small but perfect for the size. Food is hot and prepared well! Once we found out how carb loaded the cauliflower crust is, we decided it won't be a place we go to again. Not their fault, it was all great!
Nice to have a new pizza place up in our area. The flavor overall is good and I can't wait to try the Chicago style. they do put a lot of meticulous detail and prep of the pizza and watching them package them up. The crust is nice and crispy with the exact amount of chewiness needed. The sauce is a little bit bland and could stand some work but that's the weak spot of their Pizza. Plenty of toppings as well as a lot of cheese cooked well. Overall a great atmosphere a good pizza will be back again.
Can only comment on a meatball sandwich delivered via Uber. For the THIRD TIME (no more, 3 strike rule), the sandwich arrived too dry and although I ordered the extra red sauce, which I paid a ridiculous fee of $1.25 for, it was missing. So a very dry sandwich. Uber said 1.25 would be credited but I don't see it.
Once I entered to pick up there was an employee in the that yelled a loud curse word from the kitchen and then an employee said remember this a family establishment! Partainihg to the food, I called because the wings tasted like they were were fried in day old oil and the lady that answered continued to tell me that I had ordered them too long ago and it was waiting under a heat lamp. Funny did she know that I showed up early for my order and was waiting at the desk for it!
Deep dish or regular pizza. The people are very nice. They have a bar. One glass of red wine was 9.50. The deep dish Chicago pizza was 40.00 with 2 drinks and a salad. The pizza was major cheese overload I would have liked more of the hamburger pepperoni and mushrooms I ordered. The hamburger was sprinkled very lightly on top like it was forgotten. The sauce was sweet which I don't care for. They do have sandwiches and salads as well.
TLDR: an Italian styled pub, with a pretty average execution. Came in for dinner on a weeknight, relatively early. I wanted to get the Chick Parm sandwich, but unfortunately they were out, so I settled on the Italian beef. Service was polite and relatively quick, but nothing really remarkable. Food came out in about 10-15 minutes. The sandwich itself was pretty average. The bun (roll?) it was served on was a bit chewy and soggy. The meat was a bit overcooked and was a bit dry. The dipping sauce was a real letdown, and added nothing flavor wise, and really only helped the dry meat. I can see myself coming back here, especially with friends for a game (as they do have several TVs), but would stay clear of the Italian beef. 3/5.
First time eating here. Went in and ordered to go. We had the cheese bread and a large pan pizza. (Chicken, bacon, and onion.) Had a little of an extra topping, black olives, my husband doesn't like black olives.😬 He picked them off. We both liked the thinner crust on the cheese bread. The cheese bread is super yummy!! The pan pizza wasn't bad, it just wasn't that good, either. We will go back, we'll just get the thin crust.
Pizza is overpriced for the mediocre taste; was very disappointed as I’ve been wanting to try this place for a few months now…. I think it’s the sauce that’s just so heavy with little herb taste. I can see it being an enjoyable environment with a crowd / large group and some good games on but the TVs aren’t in a great position and the ones that are (right in front of benches so a straight look) are really small and across from the windows so there’s a major glare during the day. Dined in about 2:15-3pm 2/28/26. All young staff, curly haired cook was smoking vape in the hallway and bartender was clipping her nails behind the bar. 🤢🤮 Definitely will never return even if invited.
Ordered Teriyaki wings and small Chicago dish style pizza with pepperoni, green peppers and onions. I should know better to check the order before leaving but I didn’t. Once I got back to work my car smelled terrible couldn’t figure out what it was till I opened the wings and they were burned and smelled awful. Attempted to take a bit and immediately spit it out and threw them away..next the pizza was uncut, had to tear at it to eat and ruined the consistency of a deep dish pizza…hardly any of the over priced toppings were present either. Not sure how people leave good review about the food here.
We've been here before and the pizza was fine- not great -but ok. We started with bread bites which were good. This time we ordered the thicker pan crust in the small size... Huge mistake...both pies were the worst I've ever been served anywhere. Lead sinker dough...Raw and cold in the center. Not cooked properly. Showed a server- they attempted to reheat it. When they returned with the first doughy pie...and the second pie we ordered both were burnt top and bottom. Still very heavy doughy uncooked centers. Waited over an hour for the pies. They weren't even very busy. Everyone had one or two bites...then left. No one wanted to eat that pizza
We ordered pizza and what kind of a pizza joint wouldn’t even cut it before packing ? Didn’t taste good either. Too much sauce, too much cheese. Just a waste of our money!
Super sketchy!! Better check your receipt. Prices posted are not what their (point of sale) system charges. I ordered the peperoni rolls that was posted for 11.95 on both screen monitor and hard menu. The total came way off when asking they said it was "tax". Good thing I checked the receipt. Who knows what other items are off by a dollar or more! The owner states no price changes over a year which means past year customers have been getting ripped off a dollar on items. Those hidden $1 add up over the year on each customer ordered. Legally they are suppose to charge whats posted. Do not come here very sketchy, always check your receipt here
