We love Double Dave’s in Liberty Hill! Their pizza is always hot, fresh, and delicious. Every time we pick up, the service is quick and friendly. Jesse, the manager, is absolutely amazing. Super helpful and always on top of things. It’s clear he cares about quality and making sure customers have a great experience, even with takeout. Highly recommend!

Double Dave’s is a great locally owned Austin original. I especially like the honey wheat crust, and they never skimp on the toppings. Yes, it costs a little more than Dominoes or Pizza Hut, but the quality of their ingredients is worth it. Staff and management are friendly and efficient. Highly recommend!

The pizza is good but delivery is always over an hour. Also, the last 2 times we ordered the Margherita pizza they forgot the basil so it's just tomato pizza. Super annoying twice in a row.

Pizza was all right, but very salty. I ordered and paid for a Caesar salad with chicken and when we opened the order, there was no chicken so I paid the extra two dollars for nothing.

Placed a future order at 330pm to be delivered at 5pm. Plenty of time to prep it and ensure it's delivered on time. It's late. Called the store to check and the lady tells me she was the only one in the store and things are behind. Very unsafe to leave an employee by herself in the store. From looking at earlier reviews, this is a common occurrence.

The quality and service continue to decline at this location. I would prefer to order from Double Dave’s, but I have been disappointed about our last 4 orders, ( we order every 4-8 weeks). They continually seem to be unable to follow my delivery orders and the un-uniformed manner in which the pizza is sliced is frustrating. I always request Parmesan, but rarely receive it and delivery drivers never carry it.

After nearly 10 minutes of waiting it had not returned, so I asked them to remake it. Shortly after a very tired man arrived with my order to exchange it with his. While there was an apology, this was clearly pretty far out of the way for him (Richard was his name but his wife ordered). As for me, ended up getting the order pretty close to the original pick up time, but stood waiting in the store for over 30 minutes. I don’t know what “making it right” is, but left frustrated for me and the other man involved. The manager quietly disclosed that he had a bunch of new people, which I get… but am discouraged from coming back based on my 2 recent experiences.

Just ordered a dozen pepperoni rolls and a thin crust specialty pizza and spent $60 with the delivery fees. The rolls are always great. But the pizza was probably one of the worst I’ve had in years. I requested an extra crispy crust as from experience DD doesn’t cook the pizza well enough. Well this pizza was again doughy and not crispy on bottom. Why have “special cooking instructions” on your website if the comments are not followed. Very disappointing!

Last two times we've ordered pizza from Liberty Hill (03/18 and 03/21 between 5pm and 6 pm) and the recipe has changed dramatically. No sauce is included and very very little cheese -- you could see pizza crust without cheese or toppings exposed on top. What happened? We may try one last time and hopefully you go back to previous recipe. Well, we tried the third and last time today 04/04/2025 and again it was a fail. I explained the previous two bad experiences and guy on phone said they were having problems with new hires but said he would personally make sure order was done right. Got pizzas home and they did add more cheese this time but still no sauce at all. And we ordered liter of regular pepsi and got diet pepsi instead (in a plastic bag that I failed to check, oh well) -- poured it all down the drain. Three strikes now and we won't make this mistake again. So sad as it used to be the best pizza within 10 miles for over two years -- not anymore.

After contacting Josh, per the response, still ZERO response!!!!!!!!!!! If I could give less than one star for each I would! I received an “out for delivery” email at 5:43, than another one at 6:08. I called and spoke with 2 different employees that had no clue when I could expect my order, but blamed the drivers and said it was just remade and sent out….10 minutes AFTER the 2nd delivery notice. When I asked to speak with a manager, there wasn’t one?!? Seriously WORST customer service ever!

He drives a black 05-09 mustang and had his double Dave’s topper on his car. Just want to make y’all aware cause if it was a kid or I didn’t have a helmet it would have been way different outcome EDIT it’s now been a couple months later and Double Daves still hasn’t reached out to me or even acknowledged my review. That tells you they don’t care about customers to even hear out what happened. Class action lawsuit coming up.

Man I am sad to be writing this again but it AGAIN took over an hour to deliver food not five minutes away. The only reason I don’t do pickup is bc I have a baby and can’t leave him sleeping alone in my house, so I rely on delivery. It’s super frustrating when you only have so long to yourself while a baby is asleep to eat and not even get the food before he wakes up again. Do better guys. This shouldn’t be so hard, and it didn’t used to be this way.

Was going to order a order of several pizzas as I receive the coupon through the mail to large pizzas one topping for $2.99 with an expiration date of 12:3124 I will upload the picture when I called the code did not work then I was told by the manager it was only for super bowl and nowhere on the flyer does it say that. Whenever do business with this pizza place. Good manager would have honored even if it was a mistake. Here's a customer you can add for live will never go there again. Please train your managers how to do customer service.
