Clean and comfortable room, very good buffet breakfast and daily menu and à la carte meals, good service from the waiters, we met Daniel, he is a great person and waiter who gave us advice at dinner time and the reception staff were very friendly...in short we will return when we visit the capital.
The reception, bar, restaurant and housekeeping staff were amazing: kind, generous, welcoming, friendly, professional and very efficient. The facility was spotlessly clean. The food in the restaurant was excellent as well as the water pressure. I would be hardpressed to think of any areas that need improvement. I was very happy with my stay.
A lovely hotel in a lovely town. The room was comfortable and clean, the staff were very friendly and patient with my attempts to speak Spanish. The weekend stay was very relaxing and u would certainly return. Thank you.
Stopped here as a stopover on the way down south. Its off the main route but what a gem this is! The village is beautiful, and so is the hotel. A reminder of how good hotels were before big companies started putting up hotels. The hotel was a lovely typical Spanish hotel. Staff efficient during the evening and especially in the morning at breakfast. Breakfast was a mix of fresh churros, baguettes and fresh pastries and fruit juice and fruit. We loved it here, and well worth going off the main route to find it,.....we will be back!

In my opinion too expensive for what the village offers,but overall I give 5* because nobody bothered us during our stay there.

Good place to visit.
Nice rooms, great value for money
This is a gem of a hostal. The rooms are clean, the food in the restaurant is excellent, and the staff are exceedingly helpful. I will definitely stay here again the next time I walk the Camino de Madrid.
Lovely hotel , very clean, and staff very attentive. Restaurant very good value and good menu. Lots of different outside terasses to sit in the sun !

Buffet breakfast, 24-hour reception service, we asked the employee for an extra pillow and they provided it without any problem, but we told them to turn on the air conditioning for guests and they set it to cold; when we returned we almost froze. It needs a few renovations.
It's one of those places with its own personality, welcoming and very reasonably priced. However, the rooms are very basic with somewhat outdated furniture and almost no amenities, although it's worth remembering that it's a hostel. We've been several times and the visit has always been positive. Oh, and breakfast is included in the price.

Hostal El Chiscon offers a reasonably good night sleep if you can get a reasonable rate, it’s beautiful outside and dated inside. it’s good for a good night rest after a few days on the Madrid Camino…
