Every time we come to the West Coast, stopping at In-N-Out Burger is a must for my husband—he can’t resist their iconic Double-Double! There’s something about the freshness of the ingredients, the perfectly grilled patties, and that deliciously melty cheese that keeps us coming back. The secret sauce adds the perfect touch, and their hand-cut fries are always a treat. Whether it’s the classic menu or their not-so-secret “secret menu,” there’s something for everyone. It’s the quintessential West Coast burger experience, and we always leave satisfied. Highly recommend!

This location can get wayyyy over-crowded, but they do a decent job of keeping up with the flow of traffic. Although, I will say that waiting for an hour and 10 minutes for a Dbl Dbl + fries light well seems slightly excessive... Thankfully, my meal was delicious as ever! 😋

As an out of towner I love in n out. As expected the drive through line was around the corner, the inside packed. It's a little overwhelming but I'm impressed with the staff who are reasonably tempered for having such a constant influx of people and orders. Our order was particularly annoying because we had people on the phone telling us what we wanted and the cashier was super patient and friendly. This is the only fast food line I gave good things to say about

Well, y’all know about this infamous and the longest line of drive-thru burger place nation wide😉 Just to point out that this location has a super friendly security who greets and opens the door for you, instead of scolding like you normally see in other stores. Kudos to the management. 👏👏👏

It's In N' Out playa!! If you don't like their burgers, you are a vegetarian or super picky eater because they will literally make your burger however you want it. My pick? Double double with grilled onions, chopped yellow peppers, extra pickles and triple tomatoes.

They’re pretty quick at this location I recommend asking for fresh french fries sometimes they are hot sometimes they are not. Yeah you have to enter from Massachusetts if you go in through the shopping center you can go around back in and out out to Massachusetts and back in.

Don't let the long line fool or deter you. Lemon Grove In n Out's employees are so kind and extra efficient. They have at least one person continuously wiping down contact surfaces at any given time. First visited the place and ordered a normal burger, the line inside the store wasn’t understandable (place isn’t around the east coast) so as a traveler I figured I see what the buzz is about. Second visit here, and for sure now it’s all about the secret menu options! Did animal style with peppers for the 4x4 burger; perfect flavor and price matches. Got fries (also “animal style” ) as a shared item. Easier to eat in an open box. Tight parking lot for drive thru; made some phone calls and waited out. Hooked!

If you're going to eat fast food once in a while, this is the place to do it! Great burgers! They taste like they just came off the grill (which they probably have). The lettuce, tomatoes, and other toppings are always fresh. Ask for the fries to be well-done. Otherwise, the fries tend to be soft. I like mine crispy. The loaded fries are the best-- loaded with lots of bacon, and a special sauce. I find them addictive. The other fast food chains can't compare with In-N-Out Burger, they're not in the same class. In-N-Out Burger is a cut above.

They are following the state and local mandated guidelines for Covid-19 by not allowing dinning on the premises and all employees wearing masks. The go the extra precautionary step and bag your condiments separately. They are staying true to the way they have always conducted business; fast, fresh and friendly. In N Out is always delicious, however the Lemon Grove location had a poor drive thru infrastructure which creates terrible traffic. I ordered a shake & only animal fries, I received my order 25 minutes later & that was after I had to go ask about it. They did refill my shake though which I liked.

Food is usually great, but I'd avoid going in on Sundays. For whatever reason, the after church shift is kind of bad at car line management, gets the order wrong on the pad (you ask for like 2 combos and they'll add a 3rd drink for some reason), which then confuses the cashier who you have to retell it to. Maybe its a training day or a new tech thing that happening, but overall better service if you order at the counter.

It's always ridiculously busy, the line is always out to the street and there all sorts of car accidents. The food is always very good and hot. Staff is generally friendly and on top of things (it's understandable when they are not because of how crazy busy they always are). It's In-N-Out, the burgers, fries and shakes are always great! Everyone gets that every one of these restaurants are very popular and can get a bit crowded, cars and people. But this restaurant in Lemon Grove is RIDICULOUS TRAFFIC PACKED, BUMPER TO BUMPER! It's going to be a long minute before you are In- - N- - Out! And that's the only reason I'm not giving it a 5 star!

How inefficient can a restaurant be? You order your food thirty minutes before you get to the window and when you get to the window, your food still isn't ready. Always a huge line to get in, which would lead me to believe the food is worth the wait. Sadly, I didn't care for it as much as I used to. I remember it being much better years ago. Food was surprisingly good, even for In-n-Out. Slight problem with the drive through made the experience very negative. After waiting my turn to get in line a maybe police office, but looked more like private security, said I could not turn left, I needed to leave, and he would prevent them from taking my order. There was no such sign, and he watched me wait my turn for 3 minutes before saying anything. Also, while speaking, a really long line of cars turned in at the light, making getting out of line and back in a crazy wait. Clearly in-n-out had not such policy as the fake cop had to walk over and tell the guy taking orders not to take mine. I don’t blame the young man who just wanted to take orders, but he told me he could not take my order after the security guy walked over. He also refused to call the manager, but said I could talk to him at the window. Manager was much nicer. Very friendly and took my order at the window. It slowed the whole process down though. I know in-n-out has crazy lines and thus needs special traffic management. I always comply with the signs. If left turns were not allowed, fine. Put up a sign. There was already a sign right where it should be saying to u-turn to exit the drive through… which nobody seemed to follow. Alternative, if a sign is too much trouble, and if this was your employee, have them wave people away before they do the thing you don’t want instead of waiting until it causes bigger problems. Overall, the food was exceptional, but the experience was awful.

In-N-Out – It’s... Fine Tried In-N-Out recently and honestly, it was just okay. The burger was decent—not amazing, not terrible. Fries were pretty plain and didn’t really stand out. Service was quick but nothing memorable, and the place was clean but kind of bland. It’s the kind of spot you go to if it’s nearby and you’re hungry, but I wouldn’t go out of my way for it. Some people love it, but for me, it was just a very average fast food experience.

Overall good, burgers were nice for a fast food restaurant. Fries weren’t good, cold and soggy. Some other locations are better.

Worst In-N-Out experience of my life. The drive up line is skewed so unless you come from one particular direction, it's hard to line up, and the cue for drive thru quickly dumps out onto the street making it hard to cue up. So my husband found a parking spot and said "Go inside, it will be faster." NOPE! 45 minutes for a double double, no onion, no tomato, fried well done and a strawberry shake. My number was #74. They were calling order number 94 before mine even was called. And I had to remind the staff I had a strawberry shake too, as they tried handing me my food with no shake. By the time I got in the car (less than two minutes after I was given my food), the fries were room temperature and the lettuce on the burger was wilted, having sat and cooked from the heat of the meat, which was tepid by the time I ate it. I have been eating In-N-Out since the 70's as a child. This was by far the only time I have ever had a bad experience at In-N-Out. Given how there was close to twenty people behind the counter, someone needs to come in and whip this store into shape. I've seen the older ones with only outdoor walk-up windows that only fit four people in a tiny box operate much faster and more efficiently than this place.

BEWARE! if you see the drive thru line close to the freeway bridge just go somewhere else. It took me almost an hour before getting my food. This place is extremely slow keeping in mind it’s only 1 lane. Also people will continuously cut the line from the back exit which is very frustrating. In & out should at least place a sign of no drive thru entry there.

Do not wait in the line outside… inside service is much faster. Burgers come with grilled onions. It seems clean. The burgers meat are charred a bit and have a strong onion pepper flavor…the buns are mushy and don’t hold the burger insides well. The location is not in a good spot due to where the line is created. They back up traffic in the area. There is only one line and they will reroute you to the back of the line. The burgers at this location come out extra soggy and wet, so within 15 minutes your burger falls out the bag like in the picture attached.

I used to love In N Out. The last few times My food was cold. Fries fresh out the bag- cold. Their food is good when its hot. Seems like changes caused a decline in their food. We apparently entered the drive-thru incorrectly, although there was absolutely no signage or ground markings. We waited in line for 10 minutes before someone approached us and told us we had to exit the line and go back to the end. Absolutely insulting!

I really love in-n-out, but this in-n-out disappointed me. I went in the drive through and I ask for 2 combos. Once I got to the window, I waited a couple minutes until someone appeared. I asked for ketchup and 5 spreads. I got spread and chilies, but no ketchup. My whole grill was raw and my fries were not light how I asked. They also forgot my straws. I wish my experience would’ve been better.
