My Cajun family, I'm telling you... This Place Right here is 🔥🔥. I met the owner some years back and she is from New Orleans! The food is delicious, the Cajun smells are amazing! The staff is magnificent, Lorena helped us with the menu and was super friendly! She had the GSU/Southern game playing when we walked in. I'm #GramFam 4 lyfe, so I was super excited to see that....even tho we didn't win this year...still to enjoy the game at a place that feels like home was priceless! It's one of those mom and pop type restaurants. I suggest you guys come check it out! This spot is #DJApproved #GramFamApproved #CajunApproved

I always buy my live crawfish from Bayou Market. My recent order had some of the largest crawfish I've ever had. Considering that I grew up in south Louisiana, that is saying something. I highly recommend this business.

Picked up 10 Lbs of live crawfish on Thursday, April 4th and they were so good. I want to thank you all for making it so easy as I like to boil them myself. I really appreciate your business. I will definitely be coming back in the weeks to come. Update April 27th Picked up about 15 lbs as I had my daughter over and picking up Saturday morning was once again simple and quick. If you like boiling your own crawfish then this is definitely the place to get them.

Great tasting New Orleans flavor! 11/11/2023 - NEW REVIEW! I really like going to this place. It has a huge New Orleans vibe. It reminds me of my favorite spot at home. So when I need good fried oysters this is my go to place. It's a typical neighborhood place, nothing fancy, but it feels homey and welcoming. As always, the oysters were fried to perfection, the french bread was right and I got it dressed! ⚜️😁 I forgot to take a picture, next time! They also sell Louisiana products. A few of my favorites are Patton hot sausage, my New Orleans peeps know what that means. 👍🏽 Louisiana peeps, if you want authentic dirty rice mix, Savioe's, this is the place to go. True Cajun flavor, it reminds me of my grandmother's dirty rice. Shout out to St. Martinville, LA, cheŕ. I will absolutely be back.

Best local crawfish in Lewisville. Call ahead . PO Boys , shrimp and all others dishes good too! Cocktail sauce , must buy a jar and take home.

Been living in Lewisville for about a year and have tried a couple different seafood places when I'm missing home back in Louisiana. This was the first place I found that makes poboys like back home. Flakey/crusty bread, lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, mayo. That's all that's needed. I'm not saying other places aren't good but it's just too fancy for me with all the extras flavors they add. As you can see, they do not skimp on the shrimp. Catfish platter came with 2 big thick pieces of fish. Mostly fish and not all batter like some places. All in all, spent 10-11 dollars on each which is average. Will try other things!

Best shrimp po’boy I’ve had in Texas!!! Just like back home!! And the hush puppies...wow! Everything is awesome. Stop by and enjoy some real, New Orleans food!! The staff make you feel like family! We are regulars there now and will be as long as those doors are open!! Fantastic place for delicious food and wonderful service!! 10 stars if I could!!

Bayou Market has a convenient setup and a laid-back feel. The food was okay nothing bad, just didn’t stand out and service was average during my visit. Atmosphere is calm and functional, more grab-and-go than a full dining experience. Decent spot if you’re nearby, but there’s room to elevate across the board.

Has the Louisiana Cajun atmosphere. Friendly staff, and the reasonable prices. Born & raised in Louisiana the crawfish here definitely makes you feel at home. Personally think a few of their recipes have been altered over the years but it still gives the Louisiana taste you desire

I went in and ordered 2.5lb of crawfish, now the flavor the crawfish had was pretty good. they were big and full of meat. I just couldn’t enjoy them how I’d please because of how dirty they were. In the future I hope you guys take time and make sure all crawfish of free of dirt and debris before just throwing them into the boiling pot.

Review for Bayou Market (Visited Thursday nov 6) I’ve been coming to Bayou Market for a few years and usually enjoy their food, but my visit this past Thursday was really disappointing. I ordered a full-size po’boy, and while waiting, I could see straight into the kitchen from my seat by the door. Before the cook started on my order, she was digging in her nose and wiped her hand on her hip. She didn’t wash her hands and went right back to preparing food. A moment later, she noticed me watching her, turned her back to me, and started digging in her nose again. Then she put on one glove, touched her nose once more, and continued handling the food without ever washing her hands. after seeing all that, I lost my appetite. I’d recommend paying attention to the kitchen if you decide to eat here. As of now, I don’t think I’ll be returning.

Great place to eat but I hate a thief. Went in for two entrees, and two added sides. Got home and realized one of the sides wasn’t there. We called. The lady at the front says she, “never charged for this (blatantly lying)”. I’ve been coming here for years and this makes me never want to go back. Quit stealing from people.

"I appreciate the friendly and attentive service, which deserves five stars. However, I found the seafood dish to be very disappointing. The taste and texture were quite off, and I couldn't finish it after a few bites. Unfortunately, I ended up discarding it without requesting a refund."

The meat patty was under cooked. The blackened cat fish were small and not fresh. Dirty rice and red beans and rice were just ok. If you are looking for good Louisiana food skip this place. The best thing was the diet Coke.
