Delicious food, great people, great atmosphere. We got inlay tea leaf salad, moh hin ga, and sour leaf w. Prawn, and Burmese tea. First time trying Burmese, and thoroughly impressed! The tea leaf salad is something like a mix of tabbouleh and green papaya salad, with a nice fresh almost grassy taste from the tea leaves, great refreshing appetizer. Moh hin ga was a delicious hearty noodle soup, definitely great for a sick day, and even though it’s a fish chowder, don’t think it’s going to be fishy. If you can handle habanero or peri-peri level spice, the chili paste on the table is for you! The sour leaf w prawn was completely unique! I wouldn’t call it sour, it’s a tang, like vinegar, kind of like collard greens but with less bitter. Even though it’s marked spicy, it’s really not! I liked it with a bit of the salt and chili flakes. And the Burmese tea was like a kind of chai tea, great as a sweet palate cleanser. We’re from out of town, and definitely will be making this a regular spot to visit when we’re in town!

Great little place in Lewisville. The service was super friendly and the atmosphere was nice and relaxed. The food was amazing. I’ve only ever had Kauswe before, so it was great to try new to me dishes. Everything was well prepared and delicious. We can’t wait to come back and try other dishes.

I loved this place! I’ve been here twice with my boyfriend and we’re always impressed. The flavors, the mix of aromas and spices are just perfect. The Coconut Chicken Noodle Soup was my first choice, and I finally found a place where the curry is truly delicious. Gracias! 😊

The tea leaf salad really stands out. The rest of the food is very good, but this dish was the star, bursting with so many layers of flavor and texture. Bright, bold, crunchy, and completely addictive. The Burmese curry and the Oh Noh Kauswe are hearty and comforting, perfect if you want something rich and satisfying. The paratha is also buttery and flaky. Service is also great. Would definitely recommend!

Showed they were open on Google, but when I arrived, they were closed! I decided to go back—and I’m so glad I did. This is a family-owned restaurant, and you feel like part of the family as soon as you walk in. The young man, Doi, at the front is very polite and approachable. This was my first time eating Burmese food, and he did a great job explaining the menu. I ordered the Burmese samosas and quickly realized this was just the start of a very flavorful experience. The samosas have a potato filling, and with every bite, you get a new taste of authentic Burmese flavor. They’re handmade and absolutely delicious. I then ordered the Basil and Eggplant dish, made with basil, eggplant, tofu, peppers, and onions stir-fried and coated in a thick sauce. This dish was absolutely delicious, and if I had to give any notes, I’d say just a touch more spice and a pinch more salt. However, I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. I’m looking forward to becoming a regular at this restaurant and working my way through the menu. This truly is a hidden gem.

I've been eating here for years and come to be familiar with the family running the restaurant. Very nice, attentive and hard workers. Places like this are declining so it's nice to see them still in business. Food is high quality and you can tell the mother has put a lot of thought and love into creating these dishes. I'm glad the ramen shop next door was booked, otherwise I wouldn't have come across inlay Burmese kitchen. Please visit them and give their food a try!

Came here for lunch with family. Very attentive service, cozy space, many choices, fast service, delicious food. I like burmese curry with lamb, inlay tea leaf salad and shan noodles. First time here and want to come back.

I'm so glad I came! • the atmosphere was clean and peaceful • our server was such a sweetie, very attentive, and helped us with any questions • we got the burmese samosas and they were FRESH out of the fryer. They weren't spicy at all and were spiced beautifully. The dipping sauce with the scallions was a very nice addition. • the mango chicken was SOOO GOOD. I'm literally salivating thinking about it. First off, it's colorful and visually inviting. The sauce is sweet and savory and the crunch from the carrots is nice and the burst of fresh mango was phenomenal. I really enjoyed this dish. • I also ordered the N1. Nan Gyi Thoke and not gonna lie, I didn't love it. The noodles were thick like udon and the sauce was just alright. It wasn't bad by any means, just not my jam. BUT! It's apparently a very popular dish so take what I say with a grain of salt 🤷‍♀️ Overall, I loved this experience! I'm glad this restaurant was my first experience with Burmese food. I can't wait to come back whenever I'm in town. Thank you for such a cool and delicious meal!

Amazing! I’ve had the tea leaf salads, lots of the vegetable dishes, sour leaf with prawn, samosas, and several other dishes. All have been phenomenal! Beautiful presentation/atmosphere, and fantastic service!

This was our first experience with Burmese food and it was wonderful. The staff was friendly and helpful. We ordered chicken biryani and chicken kebat. Both dishes were so flavorful! The palatha bread was so soft and a perfect complement. If you like Indian and Thai food then Inlay Burmese Kitchen is a must try.

First time eating Burmese food and it was a great experience. They have a pretty vast menu with lots of things that sound good but we ended up ordering the Inlay tea leaf salad, Burmese curry with lamb, and Oh No Kauswe (coconut chicken noodle soup). The tea leaf salad was very flavorful and had great textures with the cabbage, nuts, and split peas. It was a great palate cleanser with some of the more flavorful dishes like the curry which was delicious. The lamb was very tender and curry was loaded with flavor. The coconut noodle soup was also very heartwarming and creamy. Though first eating Burmese food, there were a lot of familiar flavors from Indian, Chinese, and Southeast Asian cuisine while still being unique. Can't wait to try more of the menu.

This was my first time reading Burmese food, and I'm delighted to say I'll be visiting there again! Their curry dishes are incredible, and the jalapeños they used in the chicken kabat were wonderfully spicy :) The atmosphere is cool, and as my partner said, kind of like the Burmese placed you'll find in Boston.

Wow, great find! First time in and everything was fresh and delicious! I ordered the vegetarian coconut curry and hubs had the pork pumpkin stew. Both had great flavor and spices (not hot). This is real deal Burmese food. Don’t miss this one. And, they do carry out and delivery.

Absolutely loved this restaurant! The atmosphere was inviting, and the service was exceptional! It was the first time we tried Burmese food, so we had questions, and they were so patient and took time to answer and helped us select excellent choices. I got the chicken and mint as my main, and we got the split pea tofu as an appetizer. My husband got the pork belly and mustard greens. Everything was delicious and seasoned and yummy!! Can't wait to come back for another date night. It's an amazing find!

How amazing and a Hidden treasure! Great spice, flavor, and variety. Everything we ordered was delicious and filling but light at the same time. 100/10 would recommend. We over ordered because it was our first time and it was totally worth it. Support local! The owner and server were both so sweet and helpful in explaining the menu Will be back again each month

This place was an amazing find and I’m glad that I did. Never had Burmese food and I am happy we chose this place. The servers here were really helpful as we ordered the entire menu almost and they guided us through it. The food is similar to Indian food in terms of flavor but has a very different approach. Would recommend the chicken palata and dip appetizer 10/10.

My wife and myself visited this restaurant in Lewisville for lunch a week ago. We were looking to try something new in the community, so this place came out to be the perfect place to try out. First of all, the food was excellent. We tried quite a few dishes including lamb Biriani, pineapple shrimp and a whole fish wrapped in banana dish whose name I can’t remember. We also had an appetizer of bread and dip that our 18-month old also loved. These tasted excellent and we will definitely go back to try other stuff. The full menu is very rich and varied so, a few trips here should stay interesting. The server was also very nice. She’s actually the daughter of the owner so it made us feel good that this place was family owned and operated. Her mom actually cooks the dishes although we didn’t get a chance to see her. So customer service was excellent. I would definitely encourage anyone looking for something new, ethnic and different to try this place out. Bon Appétit!

The food was so good! We had the tea leaf salad, which was wonderful, it had really good texture. Then we had the chili lamb and the coconut chicken soup. The lamb was just the right amount of heat and not too lamb-y and the soup was so good. And we split a Burmese tea after. We’d never had Burmese food and it was such a treat. The workers had a lot of family members and they were all very nice. It’s not very close to us but worth the drive.

Ordered an appetizer and 2 dishes with one of our teenage daughters, on a weekend night. 1. Food - Samosa was crispy with a tasty dipping sauce. Lamb curry was very tender, the curry/ sauce was ok. Noodle dish was good. 2. Location is a small strip mall / open style interior. 3. Service was courteous / professional. If returning, I would consider the coconut curry / lamb. The lamb we tried was tasty/tender.

9/10 highly recommend the tea leaf salad and the curry but I'm sure everything on the menu is outstanding. The staff is always very friendly and able to provide menu insights if needed. Absolutely reccomend, especially for those who have never tried Burmese food!

First time here at Inlay and also my first time eating Burmese food. I did some research beforehand and found out that their curry has good reviews. So I ordered the lamb curry. The curry was different than Thai or Indian curry. Its taste was unique and delicious. The lamb was soft and flavorful. Though it could have a been a little softer. The rice that came with the dish was light and tasted lovely with the curry sauce. Service is good but I had to ask for a refill of water and rice instead of the waiter noticing. Extra rice is $1.50. Overall my experience was good and I look forward to my next visit to Inlay.

The food was pretty good - I had never had Burmese food before. However, for our party of 6 people, the food was brought out to us in a staggered manner over about 20 minutes. My food was brought out last so I was just sitting there with no food for a long time while the others at my table got their food, but even so, there was a lot of time between when each person got their food. Out of courtesy, we were all going to wait until everyone got their food, but the food would have been cold by the time we were all served so we agreed that those that got their food earlier should go ahead and eat. I don't think I've ever been to a restaurant that staggered the orders so much. I will probably not go back for that reason alone. (The server was really nice and apologized to me because mine was so late, no complaints with the server. It was just weird that the food was so staggered.)

I use to love this place. However, my recent visit tonight has left me utterly disappointed and unsatisfied. I typically order the Burmese curry with beef and the salt and pepper calamari. I don’t know if they were just having a bad day in the kitchen or the quality has gone down that bad. The curry was oily and flavorless not to mention the portion size was mediocre and definitely not worth the amount of money being spent. The calamari left me absolutely baffled the breading was almost “doughy” and not crispy on the outside like calamari should be…the sauce was even different. I am so disappointed with Inlay because the food use to be amazing making you want to come back everyday just to have another bite now it’s gone downhill.
