11/20 - lunch is great. I recommend flour tortillas with carnitas. 11/18- Wow. Amazing breakfast tacos. Eggs were fresh, flour tortillas were grilled to perfection. Had the steak and egg taco, and a bacon and egg taco. So delicious. There different salsas were great. Many different choices for different flavors. Staff is super friendly, place is very nice and clean.

The service was great, wait staff was friendly and they're always cleaning something when I come in which is always nice. Felt the food lacked salt which I get why they under salt for those who don't like a lot. The price I pay for the food I just expect a bit more. Haven't tried their breakfast tacos. Will go again.

The food wasn't bad but it also felt slightly off and not an authentic street Taco as the tortillas seemed from a bag and it took away from the experience. Overall it was fine tho.

I got the Grande burrito, the street tacos, and the chips & queso. The burrito was fantastic, hence the 3-star review. The tacos were ok but they didn't include the onions and cilantro that we ordered. The chips, though, were literally the worst chips I've ever eaten. I just threw most of the bag away. The taste of burnt oil was overpowering, and the tiny portion of queso wasn't enough to counter it. I swished around a mouthful of red bull just to get rid of the taste in my mouth. That'll be the last time I order from this place.

If I were just rating the food this review would be a solid 5 the food is delicious. However the customer service at this particular location is terrible. We used to stop here at least once a week. Last month it took them over 30 minutes to get us our order. This was partially because their credit card machine was down. When we finally got home we were missing part of our order. After some back and forth they finally agreed to give me make it right next time I stopped by. We made the mistake of going back.....it was 5 of us it took about 15 minutes and we received one order another 5 minutes finally received another order....some orders were all mixed up and one order after 30minutes never arrived. After all that we had to wait an additional 6 minutes after we were done eating because the credit card machine was being repaired since we arrived...and they were still working on it. We finally paid the two girls at the register never even said, thank you, sorry for the inconvenience and never even looked up at us except to hand is the receipt and ask for a signature. I frequent other locations and I love the food and 5 star customer service. I would have given this location a 1 since they are extremely rude but the food is just great.

The food is fine, assuming everything goes right with your order the first time. The problem comes if you need the staff here to do more than the bare minimum. They’re lazy, rude, and spend more effort on their excuses not to help you than they spend actually working. If you eat here, cross your fingers that there are no issues with your order.

Our experience eating here was not pleasant. There were five of us eating. The first plate came out quickly and the other four plates came out almost 20 minutes later. Another couple came in while the four of us were waiting for our food and they got their food served first. The shell for the taco salad was over cooked and greasy and the tortilla strips for the chicken salad were stale. The music was turned up so loud, we had a hard time carrying on a conversation. For the amount of food we received, it was a little overpriced. My husband did enjoy his fish tacos which is why l will give two stars. We were so excited to try this place but will not be back.

I love ordering from this place via Doordarsh or Uber eats. Recently I noticed that they cut off half the menu including vegetarian options and the kids menu. This is half of my order, so now I can no longer order from there. I will happy change my review once they fix the menu, so I can actually order what I want.

Brisket taco felt like I was chewing on an eraser. The birria tacos tasted just okay, you could make something equally good if not better at home.

It was okay. Tacos didn't come with cilantro and onion, which we asked for. Had to go back up to the counter twice to ask for cilantro and onions and the La Brava salsa(which didn't seem to be as hot as I was expecting it to be). The pastor was decent enough. Chips and salsa were not very good, the chips were stale and the salsa just wasn't flavorful. I had the torta cubana which wasn't very impressive, the milanesa was tough and literally came off the entire torta with the first bite. There are much better options in the area that are better priced or about the same in pricing. I will definitely not be coming back when I can have a much better food experience at the handful of other taquerias in Lewisville/Highland Village.

Ordered through Uber eats for lunch. I ordered sour cream and it didn't come. I ordered 3 street tacos (2 steak 1 chicken) and rice and beans. The meat on my tacos was flavorless and dry I couldn't even eat them.

I usually have a great experience at this place but my last visit was far from good. Let me start by saying DO NOT GO RIGHT BEFORE CLOSING TIME!!! I have been craving some birria tacos for a while and have had some really good ones here...but...ever since they changed the birria taco platter it has gone down bad. Before you could get 3 birria tacos with consome, cilantro and onions for about $12. Now the platter comes with 2 tacos, consome, rice and beans. Personally I don't really care for the rice and beans so the first version of this was great!! Also before the individual taco was $2...now its damn near $4 for 1 taco!! So after craving for a while I went to the Lewisville location last Thursday night about 10 minutes before they closed. I was so happy that I made it!! I ordered the birria platter with an extra taco because 2 is just not enough. I get that they were closing and probably trying to wrap things up but I was SUPER disappointed when I got home and opened my box...the tacos were NOT grilled (they usually are) they barely had any cheese which was half melted, barely any meat in them and the consome was CLEAR!! CLEAR!!! I've never had clear consome from them!!! It was gross!! I was sooooo mad I paid over $20 for this garbage!! It was too late to take it back or I would have. To make things worse I WAS STARVING!!! I specifically waited until the end of the day to eat because I wanted birria tacos so bad!!! Have been going to Tacos Y Mas in Lewisville for several months now & it has typically been really good/great. Went there this morning to get some breakfast tacos for my wife. She always gets Chirizo, Potato, Egg & Cheese tacos and like I said, typically have been great. When I brought them home to my wife & she started eating, she noticed something was not right with the taste. She looked at the taco & it did NOT look like chirizo, was not even the typical red color nor did it have any spice flavor. She showed me & had me taste the meat and I agreed that it was not chirizo. I took a picture of the 2nd taco...there is no trace of the red chirizo color & the meat you can see does not look like chirizo. I called Tacos Y Mas & told them but all they wanted to tell me was Yes, it was chirizo. I explained that it was not red (like it usually is) and did not have any spice flavor. She still said it was chirizo and nothing she would do about it. This has definitely changed my opinion of Tacos Y Mas or at least this location & we will probably find another local taco restaurant.

Have been going to Tacos Y Mas in Lewisville for several months now & it has typically been really good/great. Went there this morning to get some breakfast tacos for my wife. I ordered 4 presidente tacos..2 hard shell 2 soft..1 had a little cheese and meat and others had nothing but meat. 25 minute wait..not busy. $17.20....very disappointed after such great reviews from friends.

All I gotta say, is the girls mopping, picking up trash, using rags to clean tables then went straight to grab my food, Wiping her hands on her pants grabbing multiple things while flipping the tortillas. Asked for grilled onions but they deep fried them; nasty!! Not real tacos. All I have to say is disgusting with the way they handle food there. I couldn’t take it so I asked for my refund and did not get refunded. I recommend a real taco spot, not this place at all!!!! GROSS!!!!

Taco meat was dry like it had been sitting out. Got home and the rice and beans that was included in the platter wasn't there. The tres Leche I ordered wasn't even tres leche was not moist how its supposed to be. Won't be coming back to this location. Also the roaches on the wall I saw right next to my booth as I was throwing away my trash. Wonder how many more they have in the kitchen 🤢

The horchata is $4.99 for a large cup of nothing but pre mixed powder and sugar too damn sweet and watery. $14.99 for the quesabirria plate comes with 2 tacos rice and beans trash! Ladies are rude and do not know how to treat a paying customer this place in Lewisville deserves less than a star.

The asada was super dry and reminded me of the shredded beef jerky in a can we used to buy as kids thinking it was real chew. The meat was so salty and dry. The tortillas were barely warm. The rice had been sitting in the pan for a while as we had a few clumps stuck together where it was dried out. The salsa was really good. Overall for $30 for 2 taco platters (3 tacos w/rice & beans each) we won't be back nor do we recommend it.

I used to love this location. I dont usually leave reviews, but this needs to be called out. It's really gone downhill the past 2 years. The food is okay. But the employees are consistently rude. I don't speak Spanish. I'm very white. Several employees find it funny to make you repeat "birria" multiple times before they will correct you. The facial expressions made during these interactions describe "disgusted" well. I do apologize for not saying it right, and I've ignored this situation. Excusing the company for hiring younger kids. But, I cannot ignore what has happened the past two times I've tried to order from the Lewisville location. I always greet the employees with a smile and patiently wait. But, I've now stood at that counter on two different occasions. Only to be ignored for several minutes. At that point I just smile and leave. I've never done anything to deserve this disrespect. And to those who will try and justify this treatment. Neither occasion were they busy, and there were multiple employees on shift. Their children were restocking the soda cooler. Tonight, the taller lady even tried to get the shorter lady to take my order. The shorter lady said something that made the taller lady laugh. Then neither would make eye contact. I stood there 5 minutes before I concluded, I just am not welcome in this location.

Got the pastor tacos and chips and queso and it wasn’t that great at all. The meat was very oily and dry with no flavor. The limes that were given were so dry, no juice came out. The queso had barely any flavor and was just not good. Very disappointed.

Kept trying to order 2 Merinaro tacos. She just kept looking at me like she didn't understand and just put down 2 fajita tacos. Finally I just thought whatever. Then another person comes over and says "4 tacos?" As she is showing me the ticket that says 2 tacos. I don't think anyone here speaks english. What is worse is the meat was dry.

Walked in and she was sitting in main dining area eating her personal food which is Np. But she proceeded to cook my food using her hands touching all without washing her hands. She was on her phone etc. germs galore. I will not return. They were friendly which is a good.
