We've seen this place several times driving out to Marble Falls, and finally stopped in today. We were not disappointed! We ordered a pulled pork sandwich, a brisket sandwich, and a 1 meat plate (of sausage). Their meats are so juicy and tender! The sausage was amazing! We tried the coleslaw (which was also amazing) and the mac n cheese. All of it was excellent - we will definitely be back.

Agape BBQ in Liberty Hill is a Small BBQ Joint with a BIG FEEL! The staff and owner are super friendly. The BBQ was very good. We had the Brisket Moist and Lean, Pepper jack Sausage, Ribs, and Turkey. For the sides we had the Hatch Mac N Cheese, Creamy Cucumbers and Coleslaw. These were all fantastic, full of flavor. The Brisket was almost fall apart, the perfect bite of chewy and melt in your mouth texture and flavor. The Sausage was spicy and provided that nice bite. The Ribs were smoked perfectly, tender without falling off the bone. We will be back for a lazy Saturday to catch a band in the backyard. Community focused and quality driven establishment! Amazing service, BEST food in the whole state, and the seasoning was great. The meat is tender and flavorful and they have a good smoke ring on the brisket. The sausage was great too and their mac and cheese is amazing. Give this place a try and order their turkey, its great!

I was in the Austin area a couple of weeks ago and my cousin told me about this BBQ place that he actually craved. We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and had one of the best BBQ dining experiences I’ve ever had. The brisket was seriously one of the best I’ve ever had. It was melt in your mouth good. When I try a new BBQ joint I like to order the turkey because to me if they can get the turkey right, the other stuff should be good too. These guys hit the turkey out of the park. It was delicious. The staff here is pretty cool too. They found out that we’re BBQ enthusiasts and took us back to show us their pit setup. It was cool to see. Thanks guys. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town.

Wonderful unassuming BBQ place. It looks small but the backyard is big and clearly hosts live music, performances, and games. It's reasonably priced and delicious. Would recommend over any box store. Everything I had was delicious, including the sides which were potato salad and sweet green beans. To me, the brisket was the star over the ribs. I think the choice to separate meals into 1, 2, and 3 meat options is a really smart idea for accommodating different appetites; 3 meats was a large meal that would more than satisfy most. The only thing I missed was having different BBQ sauces to try. Usually a restaurant would have two or three sauces, but they only had one (unless I missed something).

Pleasantly surprised by Agape BBQ. We were in the area and decided to pop in for lunch. Liberty Hill downtown is so cool. Reminded me a bit of New Braunfels. Agape has friendly service and clean inside. They have a great backyard. We ordered meat plates and they were delicious. The moist brisket and ribs were the best! Cheaper than Austin and great quality. I mean i devoured the brisket and couldn’t stop dipping in BBQ sauce. I prefer Turkey elsewhere but it was tasty. I’m supposed to be on diet so I couldn’t do that much damage. The dessert pudding options looked good. Also I went for low cal sides. The green beans and corn tasted good. But I didn’t finish because the brisket and ribs were priority. They serve sides in containers you can take home if you don’t finish. We had a good meal.

Excellence from start to finish. Friendly and helpful staff, wonderful mouthwatering food, and a delicious sweet finish with their seasonal pumpkin spice cheesecake. What a great local gem! We highly recommend and will be back to try more options! (Side note: pork belly burnt ends are an excellent Wednesday pick! We absolutely loved it!)

Overall this place is lovely. We went around 5:00 on a Saturday evening and we were the only ones there at first. By 6, more people had joined, especially since Joel Tucker Band was playing around 6:30 (right as we were leaving). The open backyard area has ample seating, is wonderful for families + friends to hang without feeling crowded, it has a sand pit and yard-sized Jenga type blocks, there is an axe-throwing "structure" on site which is unique, a small deck where live music artists play, and the inside is a bit small but I assume that's not their main focus. I knocked off a star for service. The girl at the front taking our order, although friendly, may have been newish it seemed as she didn't know the answer to some questions, which is no big deal, but they got our order wrong in two ways- they left out the fruit snacks on the kids meal and the coleslaw on my sandwich. Again, not a huge deal, but with not a huge menu I wouldn't think 2 things would be missed. The food was delicious though, even the sides! Between our friends and us, we ordered and tried a few types of things on the menu, even the deserts, and I'd say it all tasted pretty good. I would would recommend the hatch macaroni, green beans, and any of the meats- they were all moist with great flavor. We will definitely be visiting again!

The brisket was phenomenal. The chicken was delish, but wish it was hotter (temp wise) and turkey was good too. Sides were meh to us;wish the Mac and corn casserole was creamier

Well after reading the reviews we decided to give this place a try, and it was pleasant surprise. The staff was very nice and answered all our questions. I ordered the corn bread casserole as one of my side dishes but it was finished. When we were sitting ready to eat one of the staff members came and gave me a small pice of that corn bread casserole that was left in the pan, telling me it was the last bit and even if it was not much, he thought of me,😊 and I have to say that it as very scrumptious. The meet had a good seasoning and was very tender, overall it was very good and tasty. Needless to say we will be back when it’s warmer so we can sit outside and enjoy the atmosphere.

A nice BBQ place just outside the old downtown area of Liberty Hill. I must say upfront this is a somewhat limited review, as this was our first time there. We tried several of the meats and a couple of the sides. Way more stuff on the menu. We bought pounds of brisket (mixed), both sausages, and the STL-style pork ribs. The brisket was great, totally on point! The ribs were smoked perfectly, but perhaps a bit too seasoned for our taste. We thought the sausage was just OK. For sides we tried the pinto beans and coleslaw, both were excellent! Plenty of fixings available on the side... onions, jalapeños and pickles. We tried both of the BBQ sauces, big bottle and "ketchup bottle"... both were good, we couldn't tell the difference if there was one! LOL We shared a bottle of Prosecco, which actually paired well with the BBQ! Service was good, not great. Lots of younger folks, we were obviously first-timers and we had to ask for common sense things, e.g., extra trays to use as plates, utensils, no one explained "the process", ... Good first visit, cool place, lots of outside area. We appreciated the Christian name of the place and the Bible quote above the door! We'll definitely go back to try more things on the menu and try the outside dining area!

We have been wanting to try this place since the reviews were so good, I realize we all have different taste but this was not our experience. Walked in both men don’t say anything, we said hello first to get some sort of response. They were out of chicken, we got a turkey sandwich instead. Turkey was cold, the green beans were way too sweet and just odd. Ordered a sliced brisket sandwich it was decent but the coleslaw just again had an odd taste. Got chicken nuggets and fries, just your standard nuggets but the fries were actually pretty good. The inside is fine, music is very low and we did not go look at the back yard area. They do have some beer and wine. Just FYI for ranch lovers they did not have any ranch whatsoever. I know it’s a local place and I hope they continue to do great but we will not be returning.

First time at Agape BBQ after multiple recommendations. Staff was great and the atmosphere was solid, but the pricing/value is hard to justify. We ordered the 3-meat “to share” ($25). They were out of turkey and chicken, so we were forced into brisket for two meats and hit with two $3 upcharges (total $33.56). What came out was tiny: about a quarter of a sausage link and a few very thin brisket slices (one moist, two lean). Brisket was just okay, sausage was cold, and we left hungry. When we asked about the upcharge, it was brushed off. What makes this worse is Agape’s own pricing, brisket at $36/lb and sausage at $20/lb. What we got wasn’t even close to a quarter pound of brisket, and the sausage portion was minimal. Quality/portion size just doesn’t match the price.
