Beautiful. It really feels like a journey back in time. As a boy, I often went to country places with outdoor tables, entering from the little bar and crossing a wooden room with a view of the blazing oven. Spectacular. Here it happened again. The girl who took our orders was incredibly kind and friendly. My son had excellent pan pizza, and we had farinata, plain, with sausage, with onions, with gorgonzola... a real treat. It's been a while since I've had farinata this good. I had a wonderful time.

Riccardo is an institution in the community of San Cosimo di Struppa, a master of farinata with an original oven built to his specifications! In my opinion, his farinata with artichokes is the best I've ever eaten. The pizzas are also delicious. Every visit is a family celebration.
The place is unfortunately dated, but it's worth coming to enjoy the most delicious farinata. They also make excellent pan pizza. It's all family-run, and they're very attentive and friendly. It's a place of yesteryear where you can still feel the true family atmosphere. Seating is limited, so I recommend booking a week in advance.
Do you like farinata? Plain, with artichokes, with spring onions, with sausage, with stracchino, with gorgonzola... There's something for everyone, all excellent, and the pan pizzas are delicious. And the desserts are excellent. I recommend you go whenever you can, and in the summer you can eat outside in the greenery ❤️
My wife, I, and several couples of friends had dinner at this restaurant located in Cosimo di Struppe, a hilltop town in Genoa. It's a simple, spartan restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating in the summer, and we dined inside. We obviously had the classic farinata, followed by the farinata with mushrooms, then the farinata with onions, then the farinata with cheese, and finally the farinata with sausage. Everyone agreed it was the best farinata we've ever eaten in Genoa, soft, crispy, and abundant. The staff were extremely kind, welcoming, competent, and friendly, with attentive, fast service and truly good prices! We'll be back!
The place is rustic and a bit dated, but simple and down-to-earth, just the way we like it. The atmosphere is pleasantly familiar, and it's lovely to eat while admiring the fire burning in the wood-fired oven. The farinata is excellent, among the best we've had in Genoa. We're pastry chefs, so we're quite picky, but we found the dessert to be good too (we chose the homemade crème brûlée). High marks also go to the owners, for their kindness and service. An absolutely positive experience. A family atmosphere, extremely kind and attentive staff. The farinata is a sight to behold, a true delight. We also tried the pizza. It was also delicious, despite being cooked in a pan and not directly in the wood-fired oven. A place we'll definitely return to. Book in advance because the place is small and there are only a few tables.

A place that takes you back to the 70s and 80s, a typical village bar that doubles as a shop and offers something to eat. The farinata is truly excellent, and the friendliness is equally impressive; the rice cake is never finished. There's not much seating, so you have to book in advance, and it's very informal.
