LT Hot Pot

I have had LT Hot Pot three times now. I just finished my leftovers and had to rave how good my meal was Friday and now on Sunday my leftovers are just as good, if not better. Everyone I have been there with loved it too. All produce and proteins are fresh, even the fish. I have only had the Coconut broth, yummy!!! One of my friends had a different broth and she loved it too.

You pick whatever you like and they cook them in your choice of soup. I had sukiyaki soup and my friend had creamy coconut. My soup was very tasty. Next time I will try the creamy coconut because my friend couldn't stop raving how good that was. Another must go place in Livermore.

This place is SO GOOD! Love the classic bone broth (spicy, of course!) and the meat and veggie options, which are always super fresh. Wish I had photos to post but I always devour the entire bowl before remembering to take them lol 😂

Build your own hot pot spot! Great ingredients and choice of vegetables, noodles, and proteins. It is pay by the pound with a minimum of one pound. Service was fast. They just opened a few weeks ago. Next to Lana Thai (LT), hence LT Hot Pot.

Give two stars: one star for the clean and cozy dining area; one star for the organized and decent table setting. We ordered ‘build your own hot pot with classic bone broth and dry mix’. The classic bone soup is a bit salty with much MSG in flavor. The dry mix is way too salty as if a whole bottle of sauce was put in. In addition, the selection of food is small if you compare with other restaurants offering Malatang. To name a few, Zhang Liang, Tang Bar. Although taste varies by person; I hope the chef/owner could try it by her/himself before launching. Considering the price is $15.99 per pound, I genuinely think more research and testing is needed.
