We went to the restaurant on a whim after the street festival in Livermore. I'm always a little cautious when I go to an Indian restaurant as Im an Indian and struggle with the flavors. This place was definitely authentic. The food was really delicious and the spice was perfect. The staff were very friendly. Overall it was a great experience. We highly recommend it to everyone. We will definitely go again. The naan was lovely and fluffy - perfect Somasa chat was delicious. Mixed grill had so much flavor to it with great variety. Saag paneer and saag Tikka masala did not disappoint. Definitely try it. Thank you

My wife organized a surprise birthday party at this restaurant, and it was truly unforgettable. The ambiance was perfect for a celebration, making it one of the best venues for parties. The staff were incredibly supportive and attentive, ensuring everything went smoothly. We sampled a wide range of dishes from the menu, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian, and each item was delicious. My family and friends were raving about the food throughout the evening. It’s clear that this place offers some of the best Indian cuisine in town. Hats off to the owners for maintaining such high standards. We're already planning to host more parties here in the future!

Food and service were both excellent. I had the chicken tikka kebab, which tasted really good. Service was phenomenal as well, the waiter was polite and I got my food very quick. Would recommend to anyone wanting to eat Indian food.

I have gotten takeout here a couple of times and I came here last month for my birthday. Service was excellent by Arsh. He kept checking in and insisted on getting us all cake before we left. Best drinks and Indian food in Livermore. Coming here you will not be disappointed from the service to the quality of the food. Personally recommend the fish and malai soya chomp. Also they give a whole new flavor profile to vegetarian food.

If you like indian food, you'll like this place. It's my favorite indian food in livermore. They have mild, medium, and hot, you can choose the heat level you like. I like spicy food, so i get hot everytime. It was my second time eating here today. I'm looking forward to keep coming back.

Food was best . We had ordered garlic naan, spicy malai kofta and butter roti. everything was mind blowing. Koftas were large , full of veggies, cashews. Gravy was made without any food color.

I could have ordered more rice but I was so full from the tasty food on my plate. Now as you can see, I am not very familar with India food, but I know I will go back and try other dishes as well! Very good food! I just had to tell the Chef that I really enjoyed the food. plus I also was able to get them to let me take a photo! Good place for a hearty meal!

I'm so glad they're open late. The place is beautiful. Our server was super attentive. And the food was some of the best Indian we've had in a while! We sampled several dishes and loved everything. The food was amazingly well balanced in flavor and spice. My mom and I had a veg Thali and combo Thali. The meat was tender and the vegetables were the perfect texture. Restaurant has all large windows facing First Street & the Patio is on First Street for outdoor dining experience. Great music and sound from the Bar side of the restaurant & large Television for watching sports from inside or outside through picture window. Fyi: Dogs are allowed on the patio. Open Late till 11p.

We were here for a late lunch on a Sunday afternoon seating outdoors. The vibe was lively as 2025 Livermore Downtown Street Fest was on. We ordered Tandoori Roti, Garlic Naan, Paneer Makhani & Veg Korma. It's easy to tell a wheat Tandoori roti & Paneer Makhani tasted good as well. Veg Korma had over-powering (and some after-taste as well) turmeric smell & taste. Wouldn't mind another visit when I'm nearby.

Veg Korma had over-powering (and some after-taste as well) turmeric smell & taste. Wouldn't mind another visit when I'm nearby.

The chicken makhani was delicious, but our recent experience there on a quiet night had slow service, the food was more Americanized than expected, and it ended up being much more expensive than we anticipated, especially the $6 per bowl for rice when there was a sign in the door saying rice came with every order. I don’t plan to return.

They blast music at the bar next door to the point where you can barely have a conversation, the lights are flickering, just a sensory overload. The service is okay, not awful but not great. Terrible experience. Did not have what I ordered so substituted something I didn’t want. Then forgot to give us rice! How do you forget rice at an Indian restaurant?

Food is very average taste and quantity was also less given the price. I am not sure how this place got a 4.7 rating. Anyway, I ordered chicken Kadai and paneer and both were very average. I asked for crispy butter Naan, only 2 pieces were crispy rest were mushy. I am dissatisfied with the taste of the food. The appetizer was good.

Worst food. Panneer tikka grill is like eating rubber. Ghobi manchurian is horrible.

I don't typically post reviews of restaurants, but I had such a disappointing experience at Little India Restaurant over Christmas that I couldn't help but share my thoughts. I was initially impressed by the restaurant's high ratings on Google Maps, which is why we decided to visit. Unfortunately, the service was slow and inefficient, and it took us nearly half an hour simply for the appetizers to arrive. When our kabobs were finally served, they were unpalatably dry and unlike the juicy, succulent kabobs we have come to expect from most Indian restaurants. Even though we had higher hopes for the goat curry, the dish largely consisted of bone-in fragments. Moreover, the naan and roti were unaccountably small in size and nearly burned to a crisp. Finally, the restrooms were in disrepair, and even the child had to make their way through the bar, simply in order to access a functioning bathroom. Overall, we were all disappointed and do not plan to dine here again.
