First time trying this Vietnamese restaurant and it was great! I had the beef rib pho for dine in and a crispy pork belly sandwich to go. The pho broth was super flavorful. The sandwich bread was nice and crispy, and the pork belly was really juicy. Definitely coming back!
This place was delicious! Yesterday was my first time ever trying Bun Bo Hue. I was nervous and didn’t know what to expect, I didn’t want to spend my money on a dish and I ended up hating it. Nevertheless, I took a chance after reading multiple reviews and I’m so excited I did! The person who spoke with me over the phone was very nice and helpful considering I wanted to change a few things. I asked for pho noodles (vermicelli) and substituted more beef than the traditional bun Bo hue which includes pork. I purchased it To-go and the packaging was so cute. I took it with me to work and didn’t need to get a separate bowl to put everything in. I would recommend going here.
Great Pho, a standout spot in Raleigh, NC, delivers a brisk, satisfying bowl with notable brisket pho. The broth strikes a balanced profile warm and savory with a gentle depth that doesn’t overwhelm the palate. Brisket slices are tender and well-marbled, contributing rich flavor without being greasy. The noodles are al dente, and the accompanying garnishes herbs, bean sprouts, lime, and chili enhance the dish without overpowering the broth. Service is friendly and efficient, and the restaurant maintains a clean, approachable atmosphere suitable for a quick lunch or a casual dine-in experience. Overall, Some Great Pho.
Really good and authentic Vietnamese food. Their Bun Bo Hue and Beef Rib Pho is so good. Definitely will come back again!
I had a great experience at Nami Asian Noodle Bar. The pho was absolutely delicious the broth was rich, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The noodles were cooked just right, and the ingredients were fresh and well-balanced. You can really tell everything is made with care. What truly stood out was the excellent customer service. The young lady who took my order was outstanding. She took her time with me and carefully explained the ingredients in the pho, which I really appreciated. She was patient, knowledgeable, and made sure I felt comfortable with my choice. That level of attention and care made the experience even better. Great food and exceptional service I will definitely be back!
I come here often, and everything is consistently really good. The bún bò Huế is pretty traditional based on what I’ve heard, and I’ve even talked to Mandy (who works there) about it—she agrees. She was great and super helpful. The vermicelli special was also delicious. I’ve had the BBQ pork sandwich and the beef rib pho, and both were amazing. The boba is good, the limeades are refreshing, and honestly, this place just does not disappoint. I genuinely love it here. You’ve got a returning customer forever.
Hands down the best bún bò Huế in town! I love all the food here, but I’ve especially been on the hunt for a good bún bò Huế spot since it’s my all-time favorite and this place nailed it. The broth is rich, flavorful, and just hits right every time. Also obsessed with their fresh coconut 🥥 and bánh cam too. so fresh, so good!!! Everything tastes authentic and made with care. If you’re craving real Vietnamese flavors, this spot is a must. I’ll definitely be back again and again 😋🔥
10 out of 10 I was just passing through and stopped here for lunch and they exceeded my expectations I got the watermelon refresher, which was absolutely delicious. I got the beef fried rice and it was flavorful, hot might be the best fried rice I’ve had in North Carolina Highly recommend you visit this place you won’t be disappointed Bring cash to tip too !!!
Be sure to check out Nami Asian Noodle Bar. We ordered the BBQ Pork Fresh Rolls for an appetizer. Then for main courses, Build Your Own Pho and the Fried Chicken Ramen. The food is delicious! While you wait, you can even play a few of the table games they have, like the ring toss game.
It was absolutely amazing. I loved the dumpling pho and the bbq pork roll. My nana got the egg rolls and said they were really good. Everything was fresh and you could definitely taste it. I didn’t expect a taste of ginger in the pork rolls and was pleasantly surprised. The pho was really good and perfectly cooked, I like my bean sprouts, a little less crunchy, but that is a personal preference. Other than that, it was really good and I definitely will be going back. The staff were super sweet and brought the food to the table which I didn’t expect.
Incredible!! Pho broth is flavorful. You don’t get a plateful of veggies; they put the beansprouts in instead of the side. See the pho pic. You get a side of lime and jalapeños, which is all I ever use on my plate anyway. But if you are someone who wants the whole plate of veggies, you’ll be let down. I didn’t feel shorted on meat. Also the pho dac biet is truly a mix of all the beef cuts unlike some places that only have steak, brisket, and meatball. Banh xeo not only huge but flavor is there and crispy without the extra doughy and sogginess that usually happens. Pork belly special was delicious. We asked for rice instead since my LO prefers it. Super kind staff who gifted us dumplings for my birthday and gave me well wishes 🥹 I’ve watched places come and go in this location; I really hope Nami is here to stay!
"I & my husband recently dined at Nami Asian Noodles and was thoroughly impressed. The food ( Bun Bo Hue ) was not only delicious so Yummy but also served incredibly fast. The flavors were spot on, and the service was efficient, making it a great place for a quick and satisfying meal. Highly recommend!" Can’t wait to try Banhmi on my next meal .
Pho Oxtail was a great experience: finished a bowl of noodles while the broth was still hot. The restaurant is newly renovated, bright atmosphere, very clean, neat, and cozy ambience. It’s neat as you can draw on the chalk board with chalk board markers. We made our own art on the board. •The noodle bowls were quite good; good ratio of meat and noodles •The service quality exceeds what I expected •Prices are very reasonable •They also played music videos while I was there if they are not busy •Friendly owners and staff We tried the following: Mì Quảng - noodle dish from central Vietnam with less broth (the broth was flavorful I had to request extra broth), yellow egg noodles, fresh veggies (including lettuce, fresh bean sprouts) and herbs, shrimp, pork, chicken, roasted peanuts, fried shallots, a rice cracker, and quail egg. The pork and chicken were juicy and tender. The broth was tangy with a bit of sweetness. Bún bò Huế- Spicy beef soup with thick round rice noodles, pork knuckle, sliced beef. It came with a garnish side of huge mound of fresh bean sprouts, mint, lettuce, herbs, 2 wedges of lemon, and jalapeño peppers to mix into the noodle bowl. Bún bò Huế noodle bowl was so good in the savory beef broth with a hint of sweetness and spices. Phở - the traditional Vietnamese noodle bowl. The broth was light, clear, and infused with flavor. It was served with bean sprouts, jalapenos, basil, and lime on the side. The size was generous with ample noodles, tender meat and lots of fresh sprouts and basil. I added a squeeze of fresh lime, hoisin and Sriracha sauces. Cơm Sườn (Pork Chop and Rice topped with sunny side egg) - These Vietnamese pork chops have a perfect balance of sweet and savory. The grilled pork chop is marinated with lemongrass. When you’re done with the meal, go to the cash register to pay. Be sure to try their fresh fruit smoothies! I will come back and try their pho oxtail soon. What’s is so spectacular about Pho Oxtail that I have frequently dined in 3 times already is that the restaurant contributes 10% of their profit towards Vietnam for school education. That warms my heart like their cà phê đá (Vietnamese Coffee).
Good Vietnamese food. We've had the oxtail pho before but for the value stick with rare beef pho. Also ate the BBQ Bahn mi, bread is so soft, make sure to eat it right after it's served and you won't regret it. Vietnamese iced milk coffee is really good too and a nice way to finish off your meal. And if you want some bubble tea there is a shop a few storefronts over.
Cute space, they seem a bit understaffed though as they kept on forgetting my water. Still, they did make my mango smoothie and all the other food I ordered came out hot, fast and delicious. There's no Sriracha on the table so just ask if you need it for the pho. A decent bowl of pho in a cute environment. I think it's a good place.
I stopped by for lunch at Nami today, forgetting that my other fave restaurant was now gone. I ordered a #47 (the combination noodle bowl with shrimp and pork) to go from the keypad, as there was no one at the counter. The portions were great for the $17 price, however, the dish was pretty uneventful. The shrimp had no flavor at all, the pork was dry, and the peanuts that were sprinkled on top were burned. It wasn't an enjoyable lunch, but I received my order quickly and the staff was nice. I'll give them another chance. If my opinion changes, I'll update my rating.
The broth of Pho is better than some other Vietnamese restaurants nearby. The rice is good. Vietnamese coffee is also strong and good. So far, this place has the real taste of Vietnamese food same as in Vietnam [Update Sep. 2020] They changed the cook recently and updated menu, taste even better. Best Spicy beef noodle (Bún bò Huế) and pork chop rice platter in town. Haven't tried the others yet cause the Bún bò Huế and pork chop rice are so addictive! [Update Oct. 2023] Come back after a long long while, I think they changed the owner/cook ... again and this time I'm kinda dissapointed. Same menu but taste not as good as before. Size was upgraded and so was the price. The most important thing is the taste isn't upgraded (added a new pic of Bún Bò Huế & spring rolls). The sauce for spring rolls is just NOT right. The broth of Phở is just sad.
They are not sanitary at all!!! Went on 10/27 around 1:30pm. When I arrived all of the tables were full. A table opened up and the lady that runs the register took the plates but never wiped the table down. We just sat on the side of the table that hadn’t been ate on and I let it slide because they were busy. Well after we got our food I observed how after every single patron left, the lady NEVER wiped any of the tables down to disinfect. There no longer were any customers, the place was empty and the rush had ended. There was no excuse to see her take plates from 6 tables and not once wipe them down. Oh but she sure took the time to wash her hands after grabbing dirty plates, but I guess screw everyone else right? Dirty, dirty!! I ended up with food poisoning that evening and I bet it’s their unsanitary practices. Broth for pho was the only thing that was decent and their fried wings. I guess they don’t care if you catch someone’s flu/cold/covid etc. just gross!
Overall Rating: 2.4/10 This place felt like a low-quality fast-food Chinese spot, with disappointing food quality. The cleanliness and half-hearted service model added to the poor experience. Service: 3.3 Entering the restaurant was confusing with no one to greet customers. A staff member was seen sitting and using her phone, ignoring new arrivals. Orders had to be placed at the front, where the cups for water appeared old and used, and the water provided was lukewarm with ineffective ice. The staff didn’t offer refills, and paying was another task done at the counter, adding to the inconvenience. There were only 2 workers and the place seemed dead, to the now obvious reasons. Navigating to the restroom was complicated, leading through a messy and dirty back area, which was off-putting. Food: Fresh Rolls: 2.1 These were disappointing, containing what seemed like cheap deli meat, both unappealing in appearance and taste. The peanut sauce was overly spiced with chili, detracting from the enjoyment. Banh Mi Sandwich: 3.2 The sandwich's bun was acceptable, but the filling, supposed to be 'grilled BBQ pork,' tasted more like standard Chinese sausage, missing the mark for a proper banh mi.
