Party of 3 ~ Wow! we were so impressed with our lunch order. Martha greeted us with a big smile. Pinakbet 5/5 : right amount of saltiness from the shrimp paste and sweetness of the squash. it's literally like my mom's pinakbet. Vegetables are not overcooked. Ampalaya 5/5: Cooke with egg and meat, very delicious. Right amount of salt and umami. Sinigang na Pampano 5/5 : lots of veggies. The soup base was perfection. Crispy Pata 4/5 : A little burnt outside to our liking but still moist inside. Halo Halo 4/5: very refreshing not too sweet. Bilo-Bilo 4/5: Good taste but too sweet for our taste. We truly enjoyed our lunch. According to Martha, they have karaoke 🎤 on weekends. They are busy at night. Try this place you will not be disappointed. I'm sure we will be back soon.
We've been to this Filipino Restaurant several times. As with most Filipino Restaurants, they're very accommodating and very friendly. This is their new location which is in the same strip mall but in a much larger place. The interior decor is nice. We ordered Sisig, Tokwa't baboy and garlic rice. All three were great tasting. I'm not Filipino but the majority of the food I cook is Filipino so I know my Filipino food. Check their website as they do have Karaoke and comedy shows. Well worth the visit.
Came here around 5pm on a Friday night to have family dinner with my mama. We loved the ambiance and the kind service. The lumpia is amazing that I even put in a lumpia catering order in for my birthday! Definitely going to be a frequent patron of this establishment! Update: February 11, 2023 It's Superbowl Sunday and my family decided to order from Cavitena for lunch over Postmates. We were missing 2 entrees out of the 4 we ordered. My mom told me to call them because it must be a mistake and also because we're filipino. Cavitena apologized and offered to deliver the 2 missing dishes. It was an honest miscommunication that they cleared up. I really appreciate a small business making things right, especially in this economy of inflation. I know the titos and the titas are upset with how much good filipino food cost now. It's to a point where if I do spend money on eating out, I'd spend money on good mom and pop shops. Also, if you're looking for good quality filipino food that's not fatty, it's Cavitena.
Great Filipino food and a fun atmosphere with karaoke. Love the variety of dishes and casual friendly atmosphere ❤️
I’m biased as I love Filipino food. You can’t go wrong with it. Service is great and ambience is amazing. We went there for the birthday concert of Imogen.
This place is really nice and comfy to eat in, not unlike in other Filipino Resto, and food are SUPERB. Heads Up to Bellay, she is really nice and very friendly always smiling a must keep staff of this place! Highly Recommended!
Really nice local place for Filipino food. Plenty of variety on the menu, and everything looked good.

Caviten̈a Bistro hit the spot... The pork adobo was on point. I love their lumpia shanghai here. If you have room for dessert, don't forget to order their Halo Halo. What makes this place special is not the food, but the personable experience. It's family owned and had a great conversation with Butz. This place is happening during evenings with music and dance.
We are visiting from TX and had to eat some filipino food since there's not so many locations where we live and my hubby is filipino. The food came out fast and the service was great. We had the lunch special. They give you a pretty big portion. The chicken adobo and garlic fried rice was super good. They fried the pompano perfectly. The skin was crispy and the meat soft. We will definitely come again on our next vacation.
This was my first time trying Philipino food, and this is a great place for first timers. The service was exceedingly kind and nice and explained the dishes we were interested in. Great portions. Definitely recommend the bulalo and bangus fish. I will be coming back.

Very authentic flavor, been here a few times and the food here is delicious. Certain foods dishes may take a little longer than others like their Pancit however worth the wait. Check out their Lumpia and banana egg rolls. Small establishment, so limited on their seating availability. Service is great and friendly.
Good food and wonderful service. They serve Filipino breakfast food! There's karaoke every Friday evening and a live band on Saturday evenings.
Customer service is on point. Food is very authentic. They have chicken and pork adobo, menudo, pinakbet, pancit bihon, beef steak, lumpia, and turon. Beef is well marinated but kind of tough. Please turn down the heater inside the restaurant. Feels quite warm inside.
Service is very slow, I did not like my tocinolog. Halo- halo is okay. I don't know why the banana is so hard to chew. For the price, not worthed.

Not sure if the young boys who serve here are brand new but they have no clue of much info on the menu.. and they aren’t really on top of it- at all. No checking to see how’s everything .. just kinda like the youth of today and just looking a bit lost. We had stacks of plates on our table the servers didn’t even come clear before serving dessert or just to clear it up a bit. The food however is good. Cook did a good job with the flavors and authenticity of the dishes we ordered. Maybe next time. Restaurant only had one other table btw so it explains the lower star rating on service and overall.
The lady who served us here was SUPER helpful and very friendly. She took the time to explain what each dish was and how it was prepared. So if I was rating this placed based on the service....it would be 5 stars hands down. But ultimately, you're going here to eat the food and it was just "okay". Their signature beef was kind of tough and the chicken dish was more fat and bone than meat. However.....the lumpia is really good! Probably worth another try....but this outing was just "okay".

Disappointed. Ordered on Uber Eats. Pork Dinuguan is so-so. Tasted old and bitter. Corned beef plate has no flavor. And the Paksiw Na Pata barely had meat and not a lot per order. Won’t be ordering again or trying it out in person. I had Filipino dishes in the Bay Area.

We were there for dinner for the first time since we saw reviews were good … we were disappointed since we ordered pork sinigang but they served beef and we ask if it’s pork the server said it’s pork … oookkkkeyy !!! The meat was so tough I told my friend it’s not pork it’s beef … the rice was so saggy so much soaked with water … the chopsey we ordered didn’t taste good we hardly ate it and refused to bring it home .

Service- was very slow. The servers are somewhat lost. We are a party of 4 but they served us water for 2. Seated right away but no one has attended to us until I went to the other server. NO utensils nor plates. We were served 2 glasses of water, I requested multiple times... after 30 mins I had to approached two servers just to have water served. Food- 2 menues out of five that we ordered was served after 15 minutes but again no plates, utensils. So the food was cold and oily already the time we were able to eat. The rest took almost 30 minutes. Lost the appetite and enthusiasm considering it's our first time. The food was not as bad somewhat tasty but the system just drag down any positive feedback on this establishment. Our server was apologetic and pleasant but I can't help myself not to get frustrated due to poor service and follow-up. It felt like it's a self-serve restaurant. Utensils, plates, water are very BASIC things but it was overlooked big time.
Ordered food through Uber eats as I’m not feeling well and wanted to have some soup — pork sinigang. Half of the pork meat is fat, half of the soup is oil. I told myself to give it a try and just set aside the pork fat. After setting aside the fat there’s only 2 meat left with meat and the rest are pork fat. The soup is so salty and oily I feel like I’m having a heart attack after 2 bites. I ended up throwing it away Hoping I’d feel better after having soup but yet I felt worst after ingesting super salty and oily sinigang
