Fitz's Brasserie

Wow! A very cool designed cocktail bar! Everything from the atmosphere to the cocktails is classically designed! We arrived three people at a quarter to 11 at night and even though we didn't reserve a place they found us a table (reservation is recommended) we had a great time! Although the menu is designed in a cool and unique way. We trusted our waitress, Regina, who re-scored each round to our taste and made the experience 5/5 for us! Great service, great quality, highly recommended!!! (We will definitely return.)

The food and service is amazing. Definitely the best restaurant around and perfect for when you’re staying at the hotel. The staff will make you feel super special and the menu is fantastic. I would recommend the prawns and steak and the shepherds pie is a must try!

We had an amazing time at the Fitz with my fellow compatriot ladies. Some ladies had a set menus with mushroom soup 🥣 and stake 🥩 they really liked it. I had an Aperol 🍸 Mocktail as a drink and wild mushroom 🍄‍🟫 risotto with truffles. Really liked it and come back to try something else. Friend stayed at this hotel. We came here for a night cap. The bar is nice and quiet. The decor is very classy. There are some innovative cocktails. The menu is very thoughtful, it contains the alcohol strangeness for each drink. Each table comes with some complimentary snacks, like rice crackers and bread sticks. It’s a great place near Russell Square for a chat! Cocktails are around £15-18 each.

Fitz’s brasserie, adjacent to Fitz’s bar. Amazing Sunday roast, beef and pork were perfectly cooked and extensive wine list to pair with. Service was professional and quick, but not rushed. Wonderful bright and airy environment.

We had a delightful Sunday roast here, made even better by the thoughtful menu options. Diners can choose from a selection of meats or fish, all served with classic accompaniments—perfectly cooked greens, rich gravy, crisp yet fluffy potatoes, and a truly outstanding Yorkshire pudding. The sticky toffee pudding was well-balanced, but the highlight of our experience was the warm and attentive service from Sabina and Melissa, who made us feel truly welcome. A fantastic afternoon—thank you!

We loved our time at Fitz's. Drinks from the colour menu are inventive, while an expansive range of expertly-mixed options is available on the full menu. Service is exceptional, though understandably drops a touch below that when the bar is at full capacity. Bar food options are flavoursome and left us excited to return to the restaurant for dinner.

Had a friend's birthday party here and it was superb! The service really was tremendous! The waiters all had an incredible knowledge of the menu, including all the cocktails and most impressively (to me anyway) the whiskey. A huge selection of drinks, and a very cool trick with the menu and the lights...but I'll let you figure that out for yourself :)

Elegant and stylish cocktail bar in an amazing looking hotel. The service was attentive and friendly with a plentiful wine and cocktail menu - I won’t spoil the surprise but you’ll love the cocktail menu experience 😬 Price-wise, it’s not too bad, a mark above other cocktail bars but well worth the price. We were there for the live band and it was fantastic. Great night

This is a great restaurant. Staying at Kimpton make it easier to have quality food especially after a long day of work. It’s specially good on Wednesday because of steak day. Excellent piece of meat cook to perfection. Job well done!

Amber was so warm and lovely - made the whole experience so fabulous and walked us through the Spectrum menu beautifully. The vibe of the bar is so dark and moody- the cocktails were FABULOUS! Loved the King of Persia and Taboo cocktails!

Excellent! That is all I can say. Went for a birthday and was impressed. The drinks, service, atmosphere were all top quality. Will return!

It started up not well because I called that day if I can walk in for an afternoon tea. They said it’s okay and I don’t need a reservation. When we arrived, the employee told us you have to book a day before and the lady on the phone didn’t gave us good information. We were waiting in the lobby and then the friendly employee found us and gave us good news that there’s a cancelation, so we can have the afternoon tea. They served us very politely and friendly, explained a lot about tea, sandwiches, cakes and scones. We ordered the one without bubbles and we enjoyed it very well. I would recommend this for the first time experience. The restaurant/bar was very classic prom feeling. Also a great spot for posting and posing for Instagram.

Great experience! From the food to the service and the drinks! I tried my first ever orange wine and it was so unique and smooth! They have two types of orange wines. The colors and tastes are all really special. It’s rare to find these wines offered at restaurants. The atmosphere and interior design of this place is stunning. My friend and I shared a main and they were kind enough to serve the main in separate plates. When we saw the portion we thought we accidentally ordered two plates! Great portion! And the service was so great!

Cozy atmosphere, lovely music. I came here by myself ,however, I fell in love with the cocktail, I ordered 2. I did have a wonderfull evening time here.

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff and great cocktails. The prices are obvious at the high end, but the experience is worth it. I would suggest having a small live jazz band, it would really add to the ambiance.

We had an unforgettable time here recently celebrating an 18th birthday. The bar is beautiful and ambience intimate and sophisticated alongside great cocktails. A huge thanks to the management and staff, in particular to Antonio, for helping make this such a special evening!

I wasn't convinced of the strange colour wheel menu for cocktails and found it a bit of a faff but I can now admit I was wrong because Fitz's served one of the nicest cocktails I've ever had and now I'll definitely be trying to recreate the Caduceus. The decor is beautiful we had such a nice evening on our visit. Plus it stays open late so we were able to get post theatre cocktails after our tube journey. I was at Kimpton for four days and regret I didn't visit the bar more often.

Had a wonderful experience at Fitz’s Russell Square! The food was absolutely delicious — beautifully presented and full of flavour. Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared and high quality Antonio.

What a pleasant surprise Fitz’s is… not really our stomping ground located in Russel Square, we thought we give it a try. It was a wonderful evening and we were being looked after by Adam who went out of his way to make the evening memorable. Very personal and attentive service. We will definitely be back. Thank you.

I had a very great time with Tim at the bar, he was very professional, pleasant and funny. The spectrum menu is extraordinary and delicious. The place is very intimate and beautiful. I highly recommend

Great spot for a drinks. Very personalised service. We were celebrating our birthday, but never mentioned it. Antonio overheard our conversation and brought us mini deserts. It was a charming touch. Cocktails are on a premium segment both price and quality, and you get what you pay for. Great celebration and date place. I was recommended to try restaurant during next visit, so watch this space.

I had a lovely evening drink here. The two girls serving me Estelle and Melinda were very warm and friendly. Making this the best experience in a Val thorens bar so far. The bar is cosy and warm and I would recommend the Hugo spritz. Would come again

Beautiful hotel and Bar… it has a very luxurious feel. It was a Friday night so we booked but only that day. We were greeted with a delicious apéritif drink and then we ordered our cocktails Martinis are my thing so I really appreciate how much choice they had shaken or stirred, dry, wet, dirty, filthy, vodka or gin I can’t say it was the best martini I’ve ever had but it was a solid 8.9 so pretty high. We had a bit of a funny incident and our waiter was so lovely and ended up giving us free champagne which wasn’t necessary but showed really good service that even though I wasn’t unhappy they wanted to do something. They only draw back I would say was I’m not sure about the atmosphere I can’t quite place it because it was loud and almost kind of clubby music with a disco ball but that didn’t fit with the kind of luxurious feel of the hotel. However for a cocktail in a 5* hotel in London I would say the price was very good.

Had such an amazing time! We came on a Sunday so it was nice and quiet. The staff were incredibly attentive, welcoming, and accommodating. Can’t wait to come back!

Party of three went to Fitz’s for lunch and we really enjoyed it! The venue is beautiful, classically decorated, with exquisite decor, really cool photographs and good ambiance music. The staff are attentive and friendly, and were very helpful throughout the meal. The food was really good as well; we ordered the Green thai curry, one vegetarian and one with chicken, and a Shepherd’s pie. The Thai Curry was superb, an extremely generous portion that filled us, with fresh vegetables and copious amounts of chicken and a side of jasmine rice ! The Shepherd’s pie was good but not that overwhelming, and the mashed potato felt pre-made. They took a very long time to bring the food, however it was very enjoyable. The dessert was definitely the highlight, had a delicious portion of sticky toffee pudding. Would recommend!

Beautiful atmosphere & nice music. The only one thing I didn’t like is that almost all cocktails are prepared. So for a person like me love seating in the bar is not exciting at all watching people making drinks. I’ll highly recommend anyway.

The atmosphere at Fitz's bar is just outstanding! The cocktails were very good but certainly could have been a little larger in volume. While I found using the backlight to read the cocktail specialty menu a unique experience, it took so much time it was more of a distraction than entertainment. The small plates and the service was outstanding.

The ambience is lovely, lighting, volume etc are perfect for a relaxed but special. cosy and comfortable but glamorous place to enjoy a couple of well mixed cocktails. Diego (barman/mixologist) is particularly attentive and hospitable and made today’s visit great.

Visited this establishment with my friends and partner. We had a lovely time , the waiters were lovely and very accommodating. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing. I do recommend for a drink whether on your own or with your special someone. There are spaces here to take great photos for the gram. Also important to note the calibre of clientele here is different they are not lookingto get drunk but just to enjoy the atmosphere and their company and a good strong drink.

Delightful dinner at the bistro in the Kimpton Fitzroy. Started with mushroom soufflé that was delicious and not overly rich despite a cheese sauce, then I had expertly cooked Scottish salmon while my partner opted for a grain salad that was a star: quinoa and walnuts topped with sweet potato, broccoli and avocado all expertly prepared and not overdressed. Cocktails also very tasty. Atmosphere was bright and elegant and vibrant without being overly loud. A great option if you are staying at the hotel or nearby.

Rather OTT cocktail bar in the Fitzroy Hotel. Very dark which is good but the extensive cocktail menu tends towards the fruit and sugar end of the spectrum. Looks good and very Instagram-able but at the prices charged one would expect a little more.

Beautiful surroundings and well presented food but let down by staff- person at Brasserie reception hardly smiled and the waitress who served us was unfriendly and abrupt and made everything we asked her seem like a chore. Not what one would expect at such a place and quite different service from other Kit Kemp establishments eg Soho Hotel. Service is the most important aspect and so our experience was disappointing.

Overpriced w attitude. We were made to feel like an inconvenience from the start, with unnecessary drama about seating despite plenty of space available. When friends joined us, it became even more awkward and dismissive, even as people were leaving. I understand space management, but this was about tone and attitude rather than capacity. Service was slow and unwelcoming, which doesn’t match the premium prices. A “posh” bar without the service to back it up, and a sense they don’t really care about keeping customers.

Firstly, the prices are eye watering. While you might expect to pay more with the decor and it being a hotel, £20 for a medium glass of wine??? There was no price list for beers and we only later found a glass of draught beer- I think a half pint, although it wasn't indicated, cost £9! Most unusually 2 halves of beer gave me a headache. I think it the beer is not kept well. The service was abysmal, lots of patter from the friendly waiter, but he kept forgetting the order, we'd repeat it to him, and then came with the wrong thing. The drinks took so long to arrive- 15 mins- that we simply fell upon them and didn't complain. Some of our party had cocktails- and I couldn't comment upon those, but they are around £15-£17 from a quick glance. The food came incredibly late and sauces came half an hour after we'd finished the chips. We wanted a festive and cosy place to have drinks, but they put on pumpimg music which was penetrating rather than background, and it hindered conversation, so they ruined what might have been a nice atmosphere. For price, value, service and atmosphere ruined by penetrating music, this was a thumbs down I'm afraid and I wouldn't go there. A shame, we have been going there for years in mid December.
