KANIZ RESTAURANT

We were staying at the Sheraton Heathrow Hotel for the night prior to our flight out of LHR and on the hunt for dinner options. As part of the quick search on Google Maps we stumbled across Kaniz and decided to give it a go. The restaurant is about a 5 minute walk from the hotel (exit the hotel and turn left). It was a Sunday early evening and we were immediately seated. The food and service were great. Appetizers were flavorful and plenty. Main courses were also well prepared, tasted fresh, and had good flavors. Overall, a good option when traveling through LHR airport.

Brilliant place to order delivery from on Uber Eats when at Heathrow hotels. I mentioned in my order notes that I was staying in a hotel and they included a plate and cutlery. The whole meal was very reasonably priced compared to anything in the airport or the hotel. It arrived hot and with a smile from Uber Eats!

This Indian cuisine here is simply fantastic. Each dish bursts with flavor, and you can tell that a lot of care goes into the preparation. The service was excellent. I loved how they served our meals on hot plates, which really enhanced the experience. Now, let’s talk about the food! The garlic naan was heavenly—perfectly fluffy and garlicky. The lamb karahi was packed with spices, tender, and absolutely delicious. And the butter chicken was creamy and rich!

Lovely atmosphere, decent food with generous portions. Very attentive and professional staff. The dips with the poppadoms was something esle, possibly best I've ever had. Will definately come here again.

I’m staying due to work at Holiday Inn, Bath Road. To get to the restaurant go out the front door turn right. It’s a 5 minute walk. Excellent service and delicious food. Well worth leaving the hotel for.

Probably the best Indian restaurant we've dine in so far. The food and service is really fantastic, the ambience is good. Would definitely come back when we visit London again. We'll highly recommend to our friends and relatives from US, just smile away from Heatrow airport!

Great Indian with amazing food, I would highly recommend. I come here everytime I have a layover at Heathrow. The guys from Zayani now run this restaurant and the food is still as superb as ever.

I loved the authentic Indian cuisine. The food was delicious. Service was good. Staff were friendly. I liked the chicken tikka the most and biryani.

Order my first meal from them through Uber eats. As a American who claims her favorite food is Indian, everywhere I go I like to experience the different version of Indian you encounter in different countries. The spices vary, the cultural influence and by far everytime i get Indian here in London it is second to the orgin compared to anywhere else! So when I arrived today I had it delivered and was amazed by the Paneer chili and chicken bryiani and the chutney sides with Padamum. I want to see this place outshine other places I have eaten at in London to date! Affordable and quick of service to top it off!

Food was delicious, and service was very attentive! We had an overnight layover in Heathrow and this was the perfect place for dinner for us and our little one.

Our dinner was absolutely delicious and our server was very helpful at explaining dishes that we were unfamiliar with. She was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant was a short walk from our hotel at Heathrow and we will definitely be back the next time we are in London.

I walked here from my hotel. When I walked in, I was pleasantly surprised by wonderful atmosphere. The restaurant was full of people, which is always a good sign. The staff seated me right away. My food came out fast and was AMAZING! The staff was friendly and welcoming. I’m stay in London for two weeks, so I will be sure to come back before I go home. Thank you so much.

Visited this place with family and I must say it was truly amazing experience. Everything was exquisite and the service was great. Nice ambience and we had sheikh kebab and tandoori chicken for starters, karahi chicken & lamb rogan josh for mains. All food dishes were made to perfection and super tasty. Must try their poppadum chutney tray - its very unique! Will be visiting this place again soon, 5 stars!

Lovely restaurant fast service and the staff are very welcoming. I really enjoyed my meal that I visited twice. Vegetarian food was delicious, served warm, and the portion size was perfect.

We dine in modern Kaniz restaurant pickles, papadom, momo dumpling was delicious, chicken was chhoila outstanding Naan was nither thick nor thin very medium Red lentil and rice very tasty. Fantastic service with family atmosphere, attractive decoration as well. Highly recommended.

3rd time we've been here this year whilst staying at LHR. Really like this place. Fantastic chutney tray! No starters this time as we're always too full. Had chicken shaslik and a hot butter chicken with a buttered garlic nan which was the best nan I have had. Staff are so loveky as well.

Delicious Food & Great Vibes! I highly recommend this Nepalese restaurant to everyone—especially for their steam momo and papadum! The momos were fresh, juicy, and full of flavor—probably some of the best I’ve had. The papadum was perfectly crispy and made a great starter. The service was friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere had a cozy, authentic feel. Whether you’re new to Nepalese cuisine or already love it, this place is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Amazing Indian spot right by the airport. The daal sambar was incredible. We loved all the vegetarian options we tried: daal makhani, shahi paneer, bindi… Definitely will come back

We stopped here on a transfer from LGW to LHR and were very pleasantly surprised. The server was extremely helpful and accommodating. Everything is made fresh so they were able to make everything to our taste. Food and service were both great, highly recommend!

Had a wonderful experience at Kaniz Indian Restaurant near Heathrow Terminals 2, 3, and 5. The food was absolutely delicious — especially the biryani and chicken curry. Everything was served beautifully, and the flavors were spot on. Service was friendly and attentive, making the whole visit even better. Highly recommended if you’re looking for tasty Indian food near the airport!

This restaurant was very accommodating to me. We arrived at the airport very late and rushed over. They close at 11pm but they still allowed us to sit and eat at 1030. We weren’t rushed at all, and the food quality was still amazing.

Mid week visit before flying out to a lovely Indian restaurant. Food was lovely and had seven different chutneys with our poppadoms. Vegetable biriani and buttered chicken were gorgeous with some very attentive staff. Will definitely visit again when I'm the area.

I work away from home at the airport and always struggle to find a decent meal. Whenever I’m staying at the T5 end I’ll pop into Kaniz for a takeaway( 2 this week). Ignore the greedy grubby Turkish and go for quality, you won’t regret it.

Super delicious food nearby Heathrow Airport, would love to come back. Also I can recommend waiter Anish who was super nice and provided excellent service.

Great food and drinks . Mango lassi freshly made , cocktail was delicious too. Momos , naan and curry everything was delicious. Friendly service , I will go again .

What a great place. Nice inside, warm, friendly staff, wonderful food. The perfect final ‘tick’ before heading back to the US. I will be back.

Although the toilet did not thank me for this food, my stomach sure did. Holy moly the food was so damn good. Came here at like 9:30 PM there were 0 people in the entire restaurant. The food came out in reasonable time, perhaps slightly slow. I'd like to start with the food. The naan was so bussin. I would def recommend getting the garlic naan. I got some lamb dish that was also bussin. The chicken biryani was my favorite- they must put crack in it with how good it is. The food was wonderful. One complaint that I have: the restroom. It was less than clean. There were stains on the toilet and it looked simply unkempt. It just begs the question: why is this restaurant in the most personality-less place in the entire world?

Had a lovely meal here this evening. Started with spicy poppadoms, a great dip selection. King prawn poori appetiser, a little salty for my liking. Lamb tikka jalfrezi main with jeera rice and a keema naan. The mains and accompaniments were excellent, one of the best keema naans I’ve ever had. Will definitely return next time I’m in the area.

Food was very good and proximity to the airport and the hotels was great. It was just a five minute walk from the thistle hotel. Staff were very friendly too. Came on a Monday night so it was a bit quiet. Am sure at more peak times it is very lively.

We ate dinner here on a stop over in London from the airport and was within walking distance from our hotel. The staff and service were amazing and did a phenomenal job explaining the menu and making recommendations. The food was good, not great. Staff were able to ensure my meal was gluten-free.

You wouldn't think you can get good Indian food right next to a busy airport. Looking around Heathrow, you wouldn't expect anything nice to be here honestly. But I have to admit, this place is pretty good. It's not a buffet, the food is proper Indian cuisine and it wasn't that expensive either. So if you have some time to spare between flights you can take the free bus and grab some good food. The only issue here is obviously the area it's located in... but if you are close by, worth a visit.

Stopped over as flying from Heathrow tommorow. Just wanted to say amazing fresh food, had poppadoms and dips, prawn puree, nan, rice and fish massala. All the food was excellent. Reasonably priced and only a 5 minute walk from Thistle Hotel. I can highly recommend Kaniz restaurant

Menu has a wide variety of choices but I wasn't too crazy about the food. It was a convenient place to go within walking distance from the nearby hotels and I will probably go back for a quick meal. I didn't like the samosa but the poppadoms had a very good selection of dips. The naan bread was great. Price is good, service was attentive.

The restaurant is located near the hotels which is attractive but in case you want to try Indian cuisine you better find another place. The food is tasty but is far from being Indian. It’s served with European taste. The service was fine but they gave the receipt without asking which felt unkindly like they wanted to throw us away.
