Dining at The Boathouse on the Bay was a wonderful experience. The restaurant’s setting is stunning—waterfront views that make you want to linger long after the meal. It’s the kind of place that feels both elevated and relaxed, perfect for a special night out. The food held up beautifully to the atmosphere: • Lobster Mac and Cheese (9/10): rich, creamy, and indulgent with fresh lobster throughout. The flavors balanced well without being overly heavy. • Caramelized Brussels Sprouts (10/10): perfectly roasted with a slight crisp, sweet yet savory, easily one of the highlights of the meal. • Boathouse Wagyu Burger (8.5/10): the quality of the meat stood out—juicy, well-seasoned, and served hot. While the burger itself was excellent, the fries felt a bit underwhelming in comparison and didn’t add much to the dish. The atmosphere was enhanced by a live band playing timeless classics, which made the dining experience feel even more special and memorable. Paired with the waterfront views, it created a relaxed yet elevated vibe that’s hard to beat. Beyond the food and music, the service was attentive and welcoming, making the entire evening seamless. Watching the sunset over the water while enjoying good food and live music is something I’d highly recommend. This is a place you come for both the flavors and the atmosphere, and it delivers on both.

So many people eating here… and a nice place. Their free sour bread appetizers are good… we ordered fish and chips for tita rose and tito jeff, club sandwich for aron and i ordered their black taco. The ambiance is great and by the sea… but the noise was a bit loud and hard time hearing each other. They have clean rest rooms.

The restaurant offers a lovely setting for a simple or fancy dinner, with various areas to choose from such as the bar, patio, and dining room. The food selection was ample, and the staff was courteous and friendly. The view of the bay was great, but the only downside was how busy it was. It's recommended to call in or reserve via the website 24 hours in advance. Overall, my parents enjoyed their meal and were happy with their experience.

We had a reservation for 4 on Friday evening. We were sat right away on a booth closest to the water. Our server Jeff came right away and took our drink order. The $17 margaritas were just ok, nothing out of this world. The $24 calamari were almost burnt and the portion not worth it. It seems like the oil needs to be changed in the deep fryer. Our food was decent but a nice hot salsa would compliment the fish tacos a lot better than Tapatio or Pico de gallo. The cinnamon cheesecake was OK, a little too sweet and very expensive. The experience was OK overall but the price for what they are serving is just too much. We won't be rushing back any time soon. Maybe to check out happy hour with the deals. Where a margarita is $10 instead of $17. I do have to admit the location is nice but charge what you want but give the customer something worth your charge. Just my thoughts...

This is a relaxing by the shore restaurant. This restaurant has some of the most beautiful views of the water and amazing sunsets. Haley was our server. The food was delicious and served with a proper portion. The cocktails 🍹 were also mixed well and not over priced. They also have an awesome happy hour from 4pm to 6pm. Service was fast and Parking is free. This is a trendy crowd. This is a great date night restaurant or to come watch a game. TV’s are visible from the patio area. The patio has heaters as well at a fire pit area. There is a neat area with neon signs for a picture perfect photo.

Had anniversary dinner there. Good spot for a special event, good food, nice live music. You can catch a beautiful sunset as well. Treat yourself and your honey once in a while, it's worth it.

The view is always beautiful no matter where you sit. We went for breakfast this time. The service was ok. We didn’t get our coffees until our food was served. We ordered omelets which were good , but we got frozen potatoes. For the price we payed I expected fresh potatoes. Maybe some fruit added to the plate would also be nice.

Ordered their fish and chips, standard middle of the road fish and chips. Nothing bad and doesn’t stand out. Also got their lemon drop roll, that was pretty tasty. For a Wednesday evening their patio was packed and very noisy. Great view of the marina.

My boyfriend and I were here recently. I wanted to take him somewhere really nice for his birthday. Everything was great, except his Alaskan King Crab dinner. It came with one claw "cut in half" garlic mashed potatoes, with vegetables. The Crab was over steamed, and the cost was $95.00 for such a "small portion". It wasn't enough to even share his crab. He still wanted me to taste it. I ordered the fish and chips, and my portion size was sharable! That was really good, along with the clam chowder. His dinner was disappointing being overcooked, and I felt overcharged. There was a live band and a wonderful view.

I wanted to love this place, but the service and upkeep missed the mark. The vibe is very casual and it's not the cleanest place. Someone said the crowd is trendy and I disagree, but the views are nice. I had the seabass and it was delicious, but slow. Unfortunately, our waitress really did not care to help us at all and this was probably the biggest disappointment. I had to ask someone for silverware and later I went to the bar myself for water because our waitress vanished until we eventually were able to flag her down to pay and leave.

We were seated quickly and within a couple of minutes we were served bread which was nice and hot. We sat there for about 15 minutes before anyone came to take our order or see if we wanted anything to drink from the bar. Finally, Jeff stopped at our table (he was great) to see if anyone had came to our table yet. I told him no and he wasn't happy about that. He took our drink and appetizer order. We ordered the brussel sprouts appetizer which was supposed to have capers and walnuts in the dish. We got half way through the dish and noticed there were no capers and it had 3 pieces of walnuts in it. Jeff asked how the brussel sprouts dish was and we told him about what was missing. He did offer to have another one made for us, but we said no. My wife ordered a shrimp dish that came with a mango dipping sauce and they were very good. I ordered the bigger burger with fries and I really wasn't overly impressed with it. The bun was the best part of it for me. Overall, this meal was way over priced ($100 including 1 bar drink) for the quality of the food (except for the shrimp dish). I gave 5 stars for service because of Jeff.

I hate to leave bad reviews. For starters I want to thank the kind lady who sat us on the patio a few minutes before our reservation. From then on we took a while to get our meals. We went a cool 30 minutes without a waitress. And we had an amazing meal, no complaints. 10/10 hats off to the chef. As we asked for our check, I think they changed waitresses and we overheard her say “don’t you see me that other table yelled at me for their check. “ referring to our table. When we were anything but kind. We then asked to split the bill. And she immediately looked bothered. And again told her colleague so sorry, I was overwhelmed. Anytime we asked or requested anything, there was a sense of overwhelm in her face, almost like she didn’t want to serve us. I’m a regular here. Celebrated birthdays, milestones, and spontaneous dinners here and we’ve never been treated this way. Very dissatisfied with our service.

We went for Valentine’s Day & the ambience was great however we asked for a double whiskey 🥃 and the glass still had visible lipstick 💄 stains on it🤢 It was quickly corrected , then we ordered our 32oz steak 🥩 and waited around 35 min when the waitress comes around & asks us if we were ready to order dessert? I let her know we’d wait for the food to come out and she seemed so shock the food still was not brought out to us while other people that arrived at the same time were almost finished…. It's sad their making me give this bad review. I called twice this week, Tuesday and Thursday leaving a messages for the manager for a callback. Never a call back still to this day 12/08/25. We had the worst time and food for Thanksgiving Dinner. My mom is getting older and wanted the night to be perfect for us. It was worse and I wish we never he went there to have a special celebration. It started when we sat down. They squeezed so many tables in the dining room the walkways were very small. Our table was the second row from the window tables on the corner across from the wall separating the bar with the dining room. Our table was right at the end of the wall and it came down to a very small space to get in between the wall and the chair we were sitting in. Once I sat done and thought about I walked over to the hostess and asked for the window table and she said it wasn't available. Well the peoples started coming from the side of the restaurant through that small space accidentally bumping into both chairs. The way my mom was sitting to get passed the space they had to almost hover over her and carrying plates of food, Servers with a bunch of drinks, dirty or fresh glasses that had been cleaned to the bar. So we ordered drinks and then went to the Buffet line that conveniently started right next to my mom's chair. When we got our plates we went directly to the main entree meats. I got Prime Rib and my wife and my parents all got turkey. They first out of a turkey but when it came it was sadly very dry. When Boathouse ran out of plates everyone was waiting for them to bring the plates again hovering over us. Two or three days later my mom got sick with a bad cough. Thankfully none of the rest of us got sick. That was the only other place she was all week.. Just sad that the manager won't even come to the phone or call back. When i first called the girl on the line, No, The managers never talk to anyone that calls. I thought Ok I'll leave my name and number and wait for the call back... I'm still waiting almost a week later.....

The food is way too expensive! It is not worth the price at all. I ordered the shrimp scampi and my shrimp had sand in it! Also the food wasn’t very flavorful and needed more seasoning. You really are paying all that money for the view not the food.
