Upon walking in, I got impression that it will be a great experience, and it was. My kid said that he felt chill vibe and easy going. We sat along the window seating with the view of the street and the boat side with Spanish music in the background. Excellent and attentive service from our waiter. We got the couple tapas and we ordered Wagyu empanadas, cauliflower, and churros. It was good size and tasty. Churros are abit too sweet for us since it's chocolate with caramel for dipping. Great presentation! Parking can be tough since both street and parking structure plus the across street are mostly full by 2pm. Will come back to try other dishes plus other drinks for sure. This place is great to hangout after work or with your friends over great drinks and tapas.
Recently visited Teleferic Barcelona. Met up with friends old and new, and we dove in! Alvaro was our server, and he was perfect. Great recommendations about everything. The sangria options were delicious…like Goldilocks, we could decide between too sweet, too spicy, or jjjuuuuussstt right. The patatas bravas and jamon croquetas reminded me of my recent adventures abroad. We got the heirloom tomato salad, with basil vinaigrette pour over, and indulged in the trio dessert selection. I particularly enjoyed the orange mochi - very refreshing! The location is outstanding. Located at 2nd and PCH, it is right off the marina, and walkable once you finish.
Came for the first time for a birthday lunch. we all loved the Paella Iberica (great flavored rice with pork cutlets l, ham and pork belly). we also had the tapas: tomato bread with chorizo butter and the ham croquettes. we ended the birthday affair with Torrija for dessert. we will have to return to try more items and to attend their flamenco show. Loved the Spanish hospitality! we also enjoyed the marina views.
My family and I had an amazing time at this location. It was our first time visiting and we absolutely loved the atmosphere, service and most importantly the food! 10/10 Shout out to the hostesses Andrea she was incredibly sweet and welcoming. Best way to end my birthday
I’m very impressed by their food! I lived in Spain for a year and last year went back to Barcelona for a week. I remember having a paella at this popular place in Barcelona and I can tell you that it wasn’t as good as the food here. We ordered 4 tapas and a squid ink seafood paella and a sangria. I enjoyed everything. It was a really cute date place. Parking wasn’t hard. We made reservations and got in immediately. Our server was very nice and attentive. I plan on going back for sure and def recommend this to anyone.
Had a wonderful dinner. We sat on the patio with the sun going down and the breeze fro the open window it was perfect. Daniel our server helped guide us through the tapas menu. Started with a couple Teleféric sangrias and jumped into the Paella bombs, Pan con Tomate, and Pulpo Telefèric. Such a relaxing vibe with great food. Definitely will be coming back with friends to enjoy again.
The first thing we noticed as qe entered the establishment was its gorgeous interior. It was so modern and airy, and took full advantage of its location near the water. We came for what we thought was a late lunch, but happily found out that we arrived during happy hour, where certain food and drinks were significantly discounted. The food itself was wonderfully made and beautifully presented. Our favorites were the tuna tacos and the paella mixta. Special kudos to our gracious server Alvaro who kindly walked us through the menu. He was both professional and friendly, and happy to listen to us talk about how we enjoyed our last visit to Barcelona. The restaurant is part of the 2nd & PCH complex, so parking in the attached garage is free for 90 minutes. I highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to my next visit.
Amazing service, amazing food, amazing decor! You truly feel like you are in Spain for the day. The drinks were impeccable, the cocktails were amazing, and the flavors of the paella and the meats were exactly on point, as if you were in Spain. I truly recommend everyone to try this place and you will be transported into Spain just like I felt
I'm glad this new location opened closer to home, as I've been to other places and enjoyed the experience. However, it might be dangerously close. Teleferic faces the street along E. Marina Dr. in the 2nd and PCH Mall. It might be a good sunset dining spot. As pricey as it is, Teleferic Barcelona is a perfect place to treat yourself or celebrate a special occasion. FOOD As I've been to other locations, I knew what to expect. We ordered a few favorites and some items we had yet to try. Overall, we enjoyed the tapas and entrées we ordered. The dinner highlights were the Lobster Paella with crispy rice bottom, Empanadas, Crab Croquetas with tuna sashimi, Pulpo, Patatas Bravas, and Prime Wellington. The Paella Negra is also a delicious option I've enjoyed in the past. For dessert, we shared the Trío Selection and La Cookie. The Trio was a great option for trying a few popular items. Our server also recommended La Cookie. The cookie with nuts and vanilla ice cream was delicious, and the half-baked cookie dough and chocolate filling were decadent and rich. The drink menu showcases crafted cocktails and sangrias, and a full bar will satisfy all your libation needs. Our table enjoyed the Teleferic Sangias and the Virgin Gothic Mojito. ATMOSPHERE We made reservations for a 7 p.m. dinner and were seated within a few minutes after checking in. The atmosphere is modern, with proper lighting in the main dining area and more moody near the windows. The noise level was moderately loud, so our conversations and hearing the server were challenging initially, but we managed. OVERALL We had a fantastic dining experience. Our excellent server (Edy?) and staff were kind and attentive throughout our meal. We were satisfied with all the food we ordered and didn't feel overly stuffed or needed a nap after.
I had dinner there on a Wednesday night last week. The location in Long Beach is right across from the marina .The interior did remind me of Barcelona and I was promptly welcomed when I walked in the door. I actually sat at the bar to have a cocktail before dinner. They have a great assortment of wines, not only from Spain, but from other regions. They have an assortment of tapas’s that are quite filling in addition to the shrimp and garlic tapas as well as a vegetarian tapas We did order the duck paella and it was absolutely awesome. I would definitely recommend having dinner at this location.
We had the pleasure of dining at Teleferic last night to celebrate my fiancé’s birthday, and it was an unforgettable experience! Their selection of tapas is fantastic, and everything we tried was absolutely delicious. The gambas al ajillo were a standout! So flavorful that we had to order extra bread just to soak up every last bit of that garlicky, rich broth. The crab croquettes were equally delightful, crispy on the outside and wonderfully creamy inside. But the true star of the night was the lobster paella 🤤 a beautifully executed dish bursting with flavor. To elevate the experience even further, we paired it with the Albariño “La Caña Navia,” a crisp and refreshing white wine that complemented the seafood perfectly. I was floored by how well the wine’s bright, citrusy notes enhanced the flavors of the 🥘 paella. Beyond the incredible food, the service was exceptional. Our server, Biel, was warm, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome. The restaurant’s ambiance is lively and festive. It is perfect for a celebratory night out. I can’t wait to return and explore more of their menu, but for anyone visiting, last night’s choices were absolutely worth recommending. A truly wonderful dining experience
Andrea A is absolutely A++ magnificent. I thought she was the owner as she described everything to me and advised me on the perfect combinations. I was actually looking for their neighbor food establishment but couldn’t find and just asked Andrea. She was so delightful and eloquent in her advices that I just had to try and was so happy I did. She already planned out my next 2 meal visits for me in advance. I highly recommend the beautiful establishment.! Ramon
Environment and service spot on!! Sangrias, delicious. Taco ahi tuna and croquetes were very good, empanada with steak tartar good, meatballs nothing special. Paella was bad. Shrimp were tasteless, a few pieces of meat just to decorate the plate. I would never order that again.
Visited here for lunch. Teleferic Barcelona has three locations across LA and OC. They offer an elevated dining experience with uniquely flavored dishes from Spain. Parking: There's a parking structure with free 90 minute parking. There's free street parking, but it's difficult to find. There's also a free parking lot across the street. Finding a spot in the lot can be a hit or miss. Ambiance/Environment: This location is located alongside PCH with a coastal view. They have a large space with plenty of indoor seating. Perfect for groups of any size. I love the decor. It showcases a "Mediterranean elegance and modern flair." Service: My friend and I were warmly greeted when we arrived and escorted to a table. Service was friendly and efficient. There were multiple servers that assisted us. We were checked on multiple times. Our main server was Alvero. It felt a bit rushed when they were explaining the menu because they were talking really fast. Food & drinks: I really enjoyed the food and drinks! Majority of their dishes have serving sizes for one person, other than the platos and paellas. 1) Spicy Sangria - this contains white wine, serrano Vodka, triple sec, and lime. It was definitely strong, not too spicy but had a nice kick. 2) Patatas Bravas - these were so delicious! The Brava sauce and aioli really made the dish. 3) Ham Croquetas - the croquettes were fried well. Just wish there were more ham and aioli sauce. 4) Ibérico Paella - It was my first time trying a Paella dish, and it was my absolute favorite thing out of everything! This contained smoked pork chop, pork belly, and Iberian ham slices. The rice was seasoned and cooked well! The smoky flavor and aroma were amazing! 5) Bruselas - these are brussel sprouts, aged cheese, basil oil, and lemon-honey dressing. Everything paired delicious together. The Brussels were also cooked well. 6) Spanish Albondigas - meatballs with manchego and ham carbonara. Make sure to drench the meatballs in the sauce. I thought these were okay. Pricing: Prices are definitely expensive. Considering where it's located, I'm not surprised. I really enjoyed the food and drinks!
Randomly pulled up here and tried this place out. It did surprise me a little bit with the good food, which I didn’t expect to be here. Will come back to try the paella dishes and more of the main courses. The small plates were good and cocktails were strong.
My boyfriend booked us a reservation here for DineLA, and I’m so glad he did! I had this spot bookmarked for a while and was excited to finally check it out. The atmosphere was lively and energetic perfect for a night out. We sat at the bar and had Javi as our bartender. He was awesome, super friendly, energetic, and full of great recommendations. They offer a $35 per person dinner deal for DineLA, but the Paella Mixta included chicken and pork, which we don’t eat. Javi kindly offered to have it made with just seafood, and I really appreciated that! Heads-up: If you choose the DineLA menu, your entire party has to order from it no mixing and matching. Here’s what we had: Crab Croquetas – I liked this a lot. Just the right amount and nicely done. Patatas Bravas – Great flavors, but a bit too carby for me. I’ll probably skip this next time. Tuna Tacos – So good! Definitely recommend. Just a note: these are raw, in case that matters to you. Seafood Paella – Also very good! I’m glad we shared it because the portion is big for one person. Churros Con Chocolate - it was just okay. I love churros but this one didn’t hit. Not part of the DineLA menu but totally worth it: Mojitos Oyster – I was drawn in by the smoky, dramatic presentation and had to try it. It tasted just as good as it looked. Highly recommend if you love oysters! We had such a fun time, mostly thanks to Javi’s great energy and service. I already have another reservation to come back later this week — this time with friends!
Very fun atmosphere, loud & warm ambiance! Servers are friendly and they also walk around and give free juice shots for fun occasionally. Appetizers were amazing and the paella was perfectly done. Would recommend for a fun night out with family or friends!
The food was good. Our server was also pretty good. It's the manager who needs to get a handle on things. I hadn't realized that they close at 10:15 pm, yet they had reservations available for 10 pm. We were there a little after 9:30 pm hoping they would seat us sooner and they didn't. They called us in at 9:59 pm. It was obvious most of the staff didn't want to be there and that there was some type of conflict going on with the staff and management. The manager was curt and rather rude when she came over to tell us it was last call for alcohol and that we needed to decide right away if we wanted to place an order for another drink. It hadn't been 10 min since our first and only drinks had just been delivered. My husband ordered another Paloma and it was never brought out. The table next to us ordered drinks and an appetizer and they were not brought out. There was 3 other tables with the same experience. A total of 5 tables, including ours weren't served the additional drinks or food ordered. Lack of management skills or poor planning? Maybe a combination of both... Maybe they were understaffed and didn't count on being as busy as they were. Valentines Day is not a day to take lightly and give the poor service they gave by not fulfilling orders. We both opted for special V-day menu, "Love Bites" The food and drinks were good. It was the being rushed and feeling the tension between staff and management that made it an unpleasant experience.
We ordered mojito oysters, crab croquetas, ham croquetas, paella negra, lobster paella, and tomahawk. Tapas were good except mojito oysters were a little too bland, paella negra was reallly good, lobster paella was ok it just had little lobster pieces, tomahawk came out rare when were asked for medium rare and it was very chewy and had too much fat. I couldn’t even cut the steak or chew on it and had to ask to cook it little more. I would never order that tomahawk steak again. It was waste of money. Service was decent. It was nice atmosphere but it was little too loud since it was weekkend. I would go back again probably on a weekday and just order crab croquetas and paella negra.
Food was passable, but I wouldn’t come back. The service was good, though the restaurant was empty, so that was somewhat expected. Also, note that an 18% service charge is automatically added to the bill just a heads up.
