At Waki Sushi, we're proud to serve authentic flavors in a cozy atmosphere. Our breakfast burritos have gained a loyal following, with customers raving about their savory combinations and homemade touch. The Italian Sausage sandwich is a popular choice, though some note that the bread may lose its warmth too quickly. For those looking for something new, our menu offers a variety of options, from classic sandwiches to unique offerings like the half-pound Rueben. Customers appreciate the welcoming ambiance, with seating areas offering views of the surrounding plants and sidewalk. With reasonable prices and friendly service, Waki Sushi is a beloved spot for both locals and visitors to Seal Beach.
Waki Sushi, also known as Nick's, is loved for its breakfast burritos, especially the chorizo burrito. Customers praise the quick service and pleasant atmosphere. Some find the burritos bland or the tortillas untoasted, but overall, it's a highly-rated local spot.
Tip: If you like spicy food, order the breakfast burrito "9-1-1". Cash only.

Breakfast burritos with chorizo 10/10! Service was awesome and it was nice to sit on the high top chairs and look out at the flower shop next door! Can’t wait to go back and try more
Love this place! Good quality food and ingredients. Cash only so come prepared!
Great deli. Super friendly staff. Excellent usual deli options made to perfection. Always hesitate to order pastrami because if it’s not good, it’s usually horrible but based on other reviews of this place decided to give it a try. It was one of the best pastrami sandwiches I’ve ever had and when I requested extra pickles, I got extra pickles. Everyone loved their sandwiches and we all agreed this is a five star deli!
I love this little spot in Seal Beach on Main Street. They make the best breakfast burritos on the block. You go to the counter to place your order. They call your name, at which time you pick up and pay. The staff are very fast, hard working and friendly. It just feels great to support this small non-chain business. It's apparent they appreciate your business and deliver quality so you will want to return .
Ordering the Machaca burrito is my favorite breakfast burrito since I don't eat pork. The hot sauce is not lethal and is a great sauce but not required to enjoy the burrito. Their food consistently meets expectations. I recommend going down the beach to enjoy your meal if you have the time.
This place rocks. Breakfast burritos 😋yum. Two people can have a meal for 20 bucks cash, LOVE THAT
Classic delicatessen vibes, and the best breakfast burrito around. Been going here since 2008, just for the breakfast burrito with their salsa. Try it, thank me later 👍
Nick's Deli is one of the great places to go for breakfast. The service is great, friendly and some people seem to know someone. If you become a regular, everybody knows you by name and that makes a person feel good. What I recommend is the breakfast burrito with eggs, chorizo, bacon, potatoes and cheese along with the special sauce. If you decide to go, expect a line, but it moves quickly.
The breakfast burrito is absolutely incredible. Nice staff as well!
Had the best sandwich of my life here! Very abundant amounts of turkey, bacon, and avocado on wheat bread. Friendly and fast service, cash only! Wish I lived closer by so I could have it again (:
Best deli in all of Seal Beach. Best breakfast burrito you'll ever have. Specialize it to your needs. I'm an extra cheese, avocado, and toasted fan. Can't go wrong at Nick's. Great people to. Local institution.
Great breakfast burritos and awesome avocado bacon sandwich. They now take credit cards btw.
Cute place, absolutely wonderful and flavorful breakfast burrito. Love it!!!. Can't wait to come back another day
A true staple of main street seal beach. The guys who make sandwiches here have been doing it for decades, and for good reason. At this point I've had every item on the menu and never been disappointed. The bread is always fresh, the meats are always highest quality, and the service is top notch. Top picks for me include the breakfast burritos (ask for avocado in it) the Martin Special, the Western BBQ and the incredible California Club. It may be a casual deli but don't be fooled, these are some seriously good eats.
Vegetarian breakfast burritos with avocado, so yummy, and I am not a vegetarian! Make sure you ask for the avocado to be added. So good, I don't ever get anything else. They serve them all day. They are a little bit pricey ($6-$8) and they ONLY TAKE CASH! This is a favorite of locals.
Good Breakfast Burritos. Very popular and crowded place. Lot of people call in their orders pick the up and walk off to eat elsewhere.
Hands down best breakfast burritos anywhere. A must have but make certain to order it hot (spicy) with avocado and use the sauce with every bite. Delicious! Warning though, cash only.
Their version of the Vegan Burrito was great! Had the usual beans/rice but also potatoes and other vegetables. The prices was pretty good too - came out to around $8 after tax.
Nick's is the best place in Orange County to get an authentic breakfast burrito. Conveniently located on Main St. In Seal Beach, it makes a great first stop for your day. Grab a burrito and then walk around, head to the beach, walk the pier, just enjoy the scenery of beautiful Downtown Seal Beach!
The Italian Sausage sandwich is very good. The bread started out soft and warm but got tough quickly, which usually indicates they microwaved it before serving. The sausage tasted great, but the casing was thick and I had to take it off before eating. Atmosphere is great. It's perfect for rhe location and very much a part of the Seal Beach vibe.
I love little hole in the walls like this place. Great food, lots of selection for both breakfast and lunch. Some seating that faces the sidewalk if you want to people watch as you eat. There’s also three or four tables inside and two tables outside. It’s cash only but you will enjoy it.
LOVE Nick's!! Been coming here for years. My favorate breakfast burrito. Chorizo, eggs, potatoes, bacon, salsa, and I add avocado. It's actually a deli but everyone calls it "Nick's Burritos " because that's mostly ehat you see in everyone's hands and lovin life. My wife loves the tuna melt as well. Get service as well. It's always a treat to visit and grub!
The world famous breakfast burritos are delicious. I order the breakfast sandwich and customize it to my liking. Reminds me of the way my momma used to make it. I also love the chili verde burrito. They have off menu chilis which are spicy. When you are on Main Street in Seal Beach make sure you go in and say hello to Nicks boys. So delish!!
This is the best place for breakfast burritos. Got the registration breakfast burrito made spicy and grilled. Inside is eggs, cheese, chorizo, bacon and potatoes. The salsa is pretty tasty but not spicy. My hubby added avocado to his burrito. Yum!
This place is the perfect sandwich spot. First time here and already can't wait to come back to pick something else off the menu. The Breakfast Sandwich has to be the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had. Plenty of ham and crispy bacon, and also you have to go with the toasted croissant.
Nicks is my favorite breakfast burrito on planet earth. It’s more than a breakfast burrito to me. It’s my childhood, my memories of surfing seal beach, it tastes like summer, joy, and friendship. It pairs beautifully with chocolate milk, and makes me unreasonably happy.

A small sanctuary on main street. If you take a morning stroll, down Main, after breakfast and you will find arts for sale along side a beautiful nursury and a Mercantile store. The proprietor's are so nice too.
Went in kinda early everything else was not open yet and I'm glad for that. Was on my way to fish the pier. Sandwich why not . Seen the menu half pound rueben sandwich. Ok let's go with that. And yes. Wales to the end of the pier took a seat had my sandwich overlooking the ocean. And it was a thick and tasty filling sandwich...
Great local deli, fairly priced, good service. There's not a ton of dining space, but I enjoy the overall laid back atmosphere
Breakfast burrito is infamous. I have been going here for about 20 years now, still a great burrito that note my little kids love too
Nick's deli is AMAZING! I came here many times when visiting my wonderful aunt in seal beach in the 2012-18 period. We would make it a near religion to go visit and get food from Nick's which never disappointed! I am very proud to call myself a Nick's officionato and believe it deserves a strong high 4.7 star review!
A must to savour their breakfast burritos with hot sauce, every time, Seal Beach.
Great local deli. Grabbed a breakfast burrito on my morning walk back from the beach. Amazing burrito. If you like spicy food, order it "9-1-1". Lady after me ordered so I got the salsa on the side. It was delish.
Really great breakfast burritos #awesome I wish I would’ve taken a picture, but I just went straight in gobbled it up! Martinelli’s apple juice
Very nice little place on Main Street. You can sit and eat your sandwich with a pretty view of the plants next door. The prices are reasonable for the area, you order first then pay when you pick up your food. Super quick, great service, overall a good experience. Will be coming back.

I discover this place three years ago while walking down Main Street. Some may refer to this as a hole in the wall. Hidden between a garden & several others stores this place can be easily missed other than by locals & for people who have heard about this place word to mouth. A cash only place ran by the same people for years. Great, friendly & fast service. Good amount of seating in door & few outdoor, this place is a recommended try for anyone who is looking for breakfast burritos to lunch sandwiches. I, myself like the breakfast burrito made spicy. On of the top breakfast burrito place on my list. Parking on Main Street is free & can be hard to find so be prepared to drive hour to look for it specially during business hours. Try the breakfast burrito & let me know your thoughts.
Great breakfast burrito! Good sandwiches. Very reasonable prices. On weekends, call in you order prior to arriving as they are very busy. VERY POPULAR!! Machaca burrito is my favorite, however my wife and daughter prefer the veggie (no meat). Regular breakfast burrito is very good if you like bell peppers. Red sauce on the side is very tasty without being overly hot.
Came here after seeing some hype about it on the r/FoodLosAngeles subreddit. The breakfast burritos were pretty good, but not as great as the best in LA in my opinion: Lucky Boy. My main complaint with Nick's breakfast burrito was the lack of seasoning on the potatoes. Salsa has good flavor but lacks heat. Reasonably priced, pretty quick service although I think they should just take your payment when you order rather than ordering, then having to get back in line to pay as your order gets cold in the window.
Best ever 'famous' Nick's breakfast burrito sold here. Great group of guys who work here, nice place on Main Street Seal Beach to sit inside or outside. You order at the counter and then they call you... relatively fast though insanely busy on weekend mornings. Everyone else has the same idea. If you eat meat (booooo), you'll die for this burrito. It is one of a kind.
The little shop is cute and has a covered outdoor area that has a nice ambiance. We got 2 breakfast burritos and they were fairly priced but I wish the tortilla was grilled a bit, it was very pale and looked un-toasted and lacked a bit of flavor but for sure worth a try! Also the guy taking orders was super sweet :)
This cozy deli in Seal Beach feels like it has been here forever. I ordered the breakfast burrito, which was not the best one I have had but it was certainly delicious! For under 10$, it was not bad at all and of a pretty good size. When I ordered the burrito, the guy at the register asked if I wanted hot or mild sauce and I said hot. The salsa they gave was not hot at all haha. I thought this was funny though, I still put it on my burrito and mixed it with some tapatio to give it a kick. The service was really prompt too despite the high volume of people inside. They also had a small section for getting water and a complimentary bucket of peppers like the ones they have at In n Out. Overall, it felt good to support this thriving local business and I would like to come back here to try some of the sandwiches they have on the menu. It all looks really good.

Were happy to try something new (to us) on the strip, & my friend really enjoyed her burrito. I, however, was disappointed. I did love the choice of breads, the entire variety of their menu, & the friendliness of the staff. But my sandwich / meal left a bit to be desired. I got their Avocado Bacon sandwich & while the bacon was well-done per my request, the avocado amounted to a mere ice-cream scoop, all piled high on only 1/4th of the bread. It sure would be vastly improved if they'd spread a more generous portion of mushed avocado evenly across the bread! Also, the "side salad" came in the TINIEST little "cup" I've ever seen for a side ('would nicely nest a GOLF ball!), so HARDLY worth the $2.00 extra!
The breakfast burrito was mostly hype. Great tortilla but the potatoes and egg were mush. Little chunks of bacon. They put sauce in one burrito after a request for sauce on the side and then wouldn't remake it. Asked (and paid) for extra bacon, got even less than the regular one.
Maybe this is standard LA style burrito but coming from San Diego… these breakfast burritos were not good. The tortilla tasted raw. The “special sauce” is so bland, like tomato paste. And the inside of the burrito (I got hot instead of mild) was also bland. Just eggs and potatoes. There was a bit of flavoring, like burnt grill. I think there was chorizo and bacon but it was hard to identify. I told my friend coming to a deli for a burrito was blasphemous, but she insisted. Would recommend you go to a taco shop if you want a breakfast burrito.

A below mid breakfast burrito. Definetly caters to the plain Jane never had a breakfast burrito from a taco shop crowd. Tortilla was a half step up from a mission tortilla. Which isn't saying much. Flavor? wouldnt know. It had none. A very bland burrito. Add bacon to your burrito. On second thought triple it because the normal serving is maybe a single strip of bacon inside 👎. Overall a hard pass moving forward.

Customer service was not good at all. The guy at the front counter (with a thick accent) was not helpful with the menu or took the time to greet his customers. The chorizo burrito was good- but only with the mild hot sauce - very dry. The size of the burritos are a little disappointing too. Interesting how you order then pay when you pick up. The ambiance is very quick and short conversations. Defiantly a good place to eat at once if you are stopping by. Not a place I would drive an hour to eat at.
