Beautiful and unique decor makes this place a hidden gem tucked away in the corner of a shopping mall. The food was excellent, and the service was warm and attentive. The only downside was that I made a last-minute reservation and couldn’t get a table by the water. I’ll definitely be coming back - and hopefully next time I’ll get a table by the window.

In town for biz and was recommended to Tantalum. WOW! FABULOUS!! Lovely ladies greet you in this lovely tropical paradise with a warm welcoming smile. Danny was my impeccable server darning a great attitude and speedy service with a friendly smile. Food was delicious. Place is GORGEOUS 🤯 Staff was kind and welcoming. No pretentious attitudes, even egos seem to be checked at the door when you walk in to this amazing atmosphere. Outdoor seating on the marina. ⛵ Live (incredible) music. This place is a MUST. Congratulations Team Tantalum, job well done! 🎉🥂🎉

One of my favorite places in Long Beach. The is awesome and the drinks are stiff. I had the calamari and the short rib sliders, and the brussels sprouts were amazing. The view is amazing of the marina bay.Great place for date night.

The food here is good overall. I tried the salmon—it was decent, but not outstanding. In my opinion, a touch of sweetness in the sauce would have added more contrast and flavor. On the other hand, the steak with fries is definitely a must-try! Prices are reasonable, and although we arrived early and missed the live music, the atmosphere still felt nice and relaxing. I imagine it gets even better later at night. I’d definitely come back to try the drinks and enjoy the live music experience.

Wonderful experience. Scallops, raw oysters, and Pad Thai were great as was their Old Fashion. Service was 10++ provided by Kayli. Great view of the water with boats moving as well as canoes and paddle boarders. This place is a hidden gem.

I had such an amazing experience at Tantalum restaurant ! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt warm, cozy, and full of character. It’s the kind of place where you instantly feel relaxed and welcome. The decor, lighting, and overall vibe made it perfect for a chill night out. The food was absolutely delicious — every dish we ordered was packed with flavor, and the portions were huge! You definitely get your money’s worth here. It’s one of those places where you leave full and happy. But what truly made the evening unforgettable was the live jazz music. The band was so talented, and the music added this incredible energy to the whole place without being too loud or overwhelming. It created the perfect backdrop for enjoying dinner and good company. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for great food, a cozy vibe, and some amazing live music. I’m already planning my next visit!

An unforgettable evening at Tantalum Restaurant in Long Beach! We stopped in for wine and appetizers, and everything exceeded our expectations. The calamari was perfectly crispy and tender, and the tuna tartare was incredibly fresh and beautifully plated—both paired wonderfully with our wine. The atmosphere is what truly sets Tantalum apart. The waterfront view is stunning, and the live jazz music created an incredible vibe—elegant, relaxing, and soulful. It added the perfect touch to our night and made the entire experience feel special and elevated. Service was warm and attentive, and the staff made excellent wine pairing recommendations. Tantalum is located at the far right corner of a shopping center. Seems out of place if you ask me. Could've fit better in downtown Long Beach since it's so nice. There's plenty of free parking. It has a long, beautiful, tropical entrance. My friend and I were going to wait to sit outside to have the ocean view but there was a wait. We ended up sitting at the bar which had no wait and also the view of the ocean so we decided to stay there instead. We got to enjoy the view minus the crazy wind. My hair thanked me. I had a michelada (7/10) and a strawberry mojito (10/10). I ordered the calamari as an appetizer and it was definitely different since it came in a sauce not just fried. I enjoyed it and would get it again. My friend got a dish that came with fries, a sauce and shredded beef. (forgot the name) It was okay. I loved the atmosphere. It was spacious with low lighting. Gave off a very intimate feel. The music was lively. There was also an area in the middle with cute couches and small tables to hang out at it. Overall, I enjoyed my time at Tantalum and would definitely visit again.

The moment I was walking through the doors I thought of Cancun I was taken abroad! The decor was beautiful and once you entered you could see the water. Very romantic atmosphere with candle lit dinners. We got the cucumber crush cocktail and I got the Smokey Breeze. The Cucumber Crush cocktail on the rocks was very refreshing and the Smokey Breeze was a bit more on the sweeter side but the mint balanced it out. Very unique flavor in my opinion. As an appetizer we got the warm fried Brie which was delicious. For Dinner we had the Albacore which was seared and melted in your mouth. Eating a bite with the sauce, rice, and mango salad blended perfectly with the Albacore. The Mahi Mahi was refreshing, tender, and had a great hint of spicy. Having it with the mashed potatoes made it a very filling meal. Lastly, shout out to our amazing server Jaime, she was the sweetest! She recommended the Mahi Mahi and the Cucumber Crush and it was exactly what we wanted. She was honest in her extensive knowledge of the menu. She really helped us make a decision on what to get. She also was a sweet heart and packed up our leftovers for us. Definitely coming back on a warmer day to sit outside right by the water.

I had an incredible dining experience, all thanks to Jordan, our server! From the moment we sat down, Jordan was attentive, friendly, and made us feel so welcome. He took the time to explain the menu, offer recommendations, and was always one step ahead in anticipating our needs. The level of service was outstanding—he made sure our drinks were never empty and checked in just the right amount to ensure everything was perfect. Jordan also surprised me with a delicious chili cocktail and customized it with tequila to my liking. It was incredible !! Not only was Jordan professional, but he also brought a warm and positive energy that made the experience even more enjoyable. He genuinely cared about making sure we had a great meal, and it showed in every interaction. If you dine at tantalum, I highly recommend asking for Jordan—you won’t be disappointed! Thanks, Jordan, for making our night and my brother’s birthday special ! We’ll definitely be back.

Monday is all day Happy Hour. The food items and especially the super thin cut fries are delicious. The view is amazing. The lounge area with comfy sofas is perfect for date night. I just wish they had better cocktail deals during happy hour. Great interior design.

Great high-end restaurant on the water. Lots of cool Asian themed statues and decor. 2 bars and lots of seating including a lounge area with couches. We had the Beef n' Chips which are short rib, duck fat fries, which were delicious. The bar we sat at had a great view of the water, boats, an apartment building with docks. Good people watching. The waitstaff seemed a little stressed, but that didn't effect the service. We got our drinks and food in a timely manner. It is a little pricey, so we ended up going somewhere else after about an hour. I'd go back for sure for an anniversary or Valentine's.

Disappointing. Overpriced and no flavor. Food is bad. We had appetizers and entrées. None of them tasted good, even the dish of the day... And very overpriced. My wife cook better. Drinks were good, but the service is terrible. "The bar is overwhelmed" so the wine glass arrived 40 minutes after. We had time to order food, wait, eat the appetizer, receive the entrees, and then wine. Oh and my cocktail? Got there is a few minutes! How come wine takes longer than cocktail? Don't know, they probably grew the vines and harvest grapes in the process... Yet, the servers kept coming and asking "everything is okay?" Well no, as we told you 3 minutes ago, and the 3 minutes before that too. But what can you do? Go to the bar and poor the wine yourself? Nahhh that would be crazy... Anyway, I tried and I don't recommend.
