My jalapeno and pepperoni pizza with extra sauce was perfect and wasn't soggy due to the extra sauce. Crust was nice and crispy. Well worth the price for perfection. They have specials and sell by the slice too.

The pizza here was excellent! Good flavors. Ordered online for delivery at 8 PM and arrived at my door by 8:50 PM on a Friday night still warm, went through DoorDash this time vs GrubHub, no real difference. Can't imagine it taking too long since they're only a mile away from where I live. Tipped 15% percent. Online ordering was a little confusing with the whole "substitution" thing, not sure what I was replacing? Shopped a bunch of places, it's amazing how many closed early on a Friday night in Long Beach. This place was actually my second choice but the other closed before I could place my order. The specials here with 2 pizzas seem like the best deal, next time. I ordered the Meat Lovers 12" inch with thin crust. The pizza was crisp and cooked just right, fair amount of toppings although could have just a little more. Pricing is about average or a little less than other places and they have artichokes, lots of pizza joints don't. I also ordered a small house salad, basic iceberg lettuce with olives, onions and tomatoes, I think they made it extra big just to help get rid of some inventory for the night, it was fresh and a monster in size! Asked to add some mozzarella in there, and they did. Also ordered 10 of the wings with their BBQ sauce which is mostly sweet with a little hint of spice in the background, also very good, not swimming in a pool of sauce which was nice, still crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Will definitely order from again ... that pizza is sooo good! :-)

As someone from Jersey, good pizza is hard to find in LA. The pizza here (3 dollars a slice) is excellent. Nice and greasy, with thick garlicy crust.

This has to be the best pizza in Long Beach California. I got delivery for many years. However, the pizza is so much better when it fresh from the kitchen. You order at the front and they bring it to the table. Even when you order take out or delivery it's still the best damn pizza in the Long Beach area.

Pizza was done and delivered ahead of schedule, took about 40 minutes, still very warm. I have also ordered on a Friday night and it took no more than an hour to make it to my door. Not sure how people are ending up waiting two hours? Maybe I've just been lucky. I measured the pizza edge to edge and it was actually 14" not 12" inches, enough slices to make three meals for a single guy, I probably could have been just fine with the lower priced 10" inch. Doesn't really matter, the crust is thin style, which I like. Their specials to order two pizzas is a deal, I just can't eat that much. I stuck with the single custom and added toppings. Each extra topping is about a dollar. The pizza is really good, I have yet to be disappointed. Crispy outer crust, not burnt. Fair amount of toppings, their sausage is tasty and soft! (2) I also ordered their basic small salad. It's huge for a small, mostly iceberg lettuce, I suppose you could ask for 1/2 romaine or something and offer to tip extra. Comes with light onions, cheese (I request mozzarella), green pepper slices, tomatoes slices, and black olives. I get two sides of ranch, you'll need em for that monster. I also like to add things to the basic salad at home. (3) I've ordered the wings in the past, they were good, not overly drenched in some nasty tasting sauce, I went with the sweet BBQ. Good flavor. All in all, I have zero complaints with Canadian Pizza. Delivery has been fast, tastes is excellent and they have been very responsive to any special requests. I have been craving a good calzone and I haven't ordered from Canadian Pizza in too long. The only challenge with this location is the parking but they do have a small parking lot behind the restaurant.

A Long Beach Staple - Excellent Food and Incredible Service! Review: I have been coming to Canadian Pizza in Long Beach since I was a little kid, and I can’t say enough good things about this place. The food has always been amazing, and they have managed to maintain their excellent standards over the years. What sets Canadian Pizza apart is the way they treat their customers. They always greet me by my first name and make me feel like family every time I walk in. It’s heartwarming to see how they’ve created such a strong bond with their customers. The respect and care they show to me and my family are truly commendable. This pizzeria has been a staple in the East side of Long Beach for decades now, and it’s no wonder why they have stood the test of time. The quality of their food and the incredible service keep me coming back for more. If you’re in Long Beach and craving some delicious pizza, I highly recommend stopping by Canadian Pizza. Their pizza is good, their wings are very good. The delivery took a little over an hour. The prices are very high, even with the specials.

This place must be riding on reputation. A small pizza with the dollar chip was almost $15. Or more actually. The food is very low quality. Out of all the pizza in Long Beach it's the worst pizza I've had. The place is completely filthy and they haven't cleaned up around here at ages. There's trash all over the tables and nothing's been cleaned up at all. I don't know what keeps the people coming

Not worth it. Go to pizza x2. Better pizza and better service. Food used to be great & service and now it’s just trash. Picking up and delivery you’re going to be waiting forever. They never have enough staff and the quality isn’t the same. Good arrived cold. For it being over an hour late the pizza was already room temperature and they had also forgotten a sandwich. When I called they said they only had one driver but yet two arrived.

As others have mentioned, timing is an issue here. We went here to grab a quick pizza and were told 20 mins. 40 mins later we were still waiting and had to leave. Was given a pizza only to realize they only gave us half our order. Had to go back....clear chaos and lack of organization in the kitchen. Food wasn't bad bad all...but have to work and getting things in order and working as a team. It seems like everyone was doing their own thing in the kitchen with no order or structure.

Ordered a pizza and cancelled without telling us. Very rude over the phone, avoid like the plague

I ordered two slices of cheese pizza. It took over 30 minutes for my order to be ready. The employee had a tone when I checked in on my order after 30 minutes of waiting. Review of pizza: cheese and sauce were decent; the crust was not evenly cooked and fell apart when eating. It was so greasy that you could not pick it up without it falling apart.

The service at this place keeps getting worse. The dispatch staff are frequently rude, and they often close earlier than their stated hours. While the pizza is good, the poor service makes us less inclined to order frequently. When we do order, we prefer to pick up the pizza ourselves because the delivery is often incorrect and the food arrives cold.

Plastic in our sub?! I never feel like I need to leave reviews, but this really has been a downer. First time I ate there I enjoyed the pizza. Then I try more and more and end up disappointed. Today I got the pastrami sub and there’s plastic in the sub! $40 for a calzone, large sub and cheesy bread!? The calzone is overcooked on the outside and raw in places on the inside. The last time I ordered there they forgot my salad I ordered, then came out with a dry salad and didn’t even offer me dressing. I had to check and then flag them down again to get dressing. The cheesy bread is so chewy that I can’t even finish it. Super disappointed. Much rather walk across the street to dominos than to attempt this again

Paid for extra cheese, didn’t get it. Asked for pepperoni, got that but tasted like tuna fish. Couldn’t even finish one slice, absolute garbage!

Wanted to try a different place to try it and it was so disappointing. We picked up our order and then had to go back as they forgot to give us a pizza when they had said it was “ready”. it’s been 24 hours since we had it and still having awful nausea and headaches with vomiting. The lasagna didn’t taste right but as it was a new place still gave it a shot. Well now we have food poisoning. Never again not worth the $60. Dominos and speak cheesy is much more better

Ordered online for delivery. Called to find out where pizza was 1 hour after placing order. They told me it was out for delivery. 30 minutes later called again to find out where pizza was. Said it was leaving the store soon. Will update of I actually get the pizza.

I ordered food from there online website tonight and this is exactly what happened to me. I called to See what was going on with my order and a young lady answered the phone and told me It was OK. They just didn’t get to the order in enough time to receive it since I place an online and that she would just place the order with me on the phone. And the payment because it was already taken, I wouldn’t have to pay again. Well, this wasn’t the case at all. I waited a whole hour and never got any food and when I called back to see what was going on, I was told the girl never actually put in my order. Young man on the phone said that she never did it and he could take it again. But I said what about my payment You’re going to try to take payment again for me when you already took payment for me the first time? I could hear the girl in the background saying she’s gonna have to wait a couple. But they wanted to take payment from me the second time. Now it’s almost 10 o’clock at night me and my kids don’t have any food and now I have to try to dis My $60 with the bank on Monday since it’s Friday evening. Food is good here, but the way they treat customer and the way that they handle the business isn’t good at all. Buy at your own risk.

Today however takes the cake I call at 5:28 and they tell me 20 mins for a large pizza and breadsticks my wife gets there to pick up at 6:20 and is told by the staff doing nothing that it’s not been started because they have a new computer system and don’t know how to use it so it’s gonna be another 20 mins, so almost an hour after the order it’s not started and will take 20 more minutes. No sorry, no offer for a discount or even a real gesture that they care and want to do better. Gonna find a new spot, this place won’t be here long I hope the next place is better than this, it’d be hard not do better than no food in over an hour. 1 star is a gift as 0 isn’t an option

Place order 1st at the register (whether dining in or for take out). The dining room stays open til 30 minutes before close time (it’s the doors to the RIGHT of the area where you placed order and paid. Prices are okay. Ask for menu (great coupons on the back to use…saves you $10-$20). Dining Room is a mess. Ladders, statues, boxes, fans, flour bags, service carts, all over the place. It’d be nice if they took a little more pride in the place and kept it clutter free (safety first). Food….well…..it was subpar. I’d rather buy frozen pizza. Spaghetti was ridiculously disgusting. Disappointed in the wings. Literally, felt like it was a joke being played on me and at any moment the real food would be brought out. Pizza was strange. Toppings were rubbery. Sauce was good. Crust was blah. I’d rate the meat lovers specialty a 3 out of 10. Mango habanero wings were okay, maybe. Well, they weren’t terrible. I’d rate 4/10 Spaghetti was lacking meatballs. Too much sauce. Pasta was undercooked. I’d rate 2/10 Service 3/10 (no plates, napkins, forks, or straws given) Location, parking sucks 1/10 (their parking is in the back. You enter immediately to the left of the location). Only one way in and out. Prices are okay BUT not worth the quality 1/10 Overall 2/10 (so, 1 out of 5)

Ordered for delivery. Prices were reasonable if you bundled, though, the menu wasn't entirely straightforward and their website is unusable. The pizza was a hot mess of undercooked dough with an excessive use of cornmeal. I know the majority of those quick service pizzerias in Canada use cornmeal, but this is ridiculous. On top of that, they got my order wrong. After paying a premium price for chicken they completely neglected to put it on my pizza. Didn't finish it. Didn't save it. Tossed it in the trash. Never again.

I ordered two pizzas they were supposed to be delivered at 4:09 p.m. I called at 4:30 to check on the status I was put on hold for about 5 minutes they came back and said the driver is stuck because the roads are blocked. I was just out on the street there were no street closures except for shoreline drive. I then called back at 5:00 and put on hold for another 10 minutes, I asked to speak to a manager, they didn't know when the manager would be back in. I asked for a refund and to cancel my order because at that point he wants an hour late cold pizza. They were incredibly rude and unhelpful definitely too young to be unsupervised. Shame on you Canadian Pizza I've been a very good customer for over 20 years.

I ordered two pizzas they were supposed to be delivered at 4:09 p.m. I called at 4:30 to check on the status I was put on hold for about 5 minutes they came back and said the driver is stuck because the roads are blocked. I was just out on the street there were no street closures except for shoreline drive. I then called back at 5:00 and put on hold for another 10 minutes, I asked to speak to a manager, they didn't know when the manager would be back in. I asked for a refund and to cancel my order because at that point he wants an hour late cold pizza. They were incredibly rude and unhelpful definitely too young to be unsupervised. Shame on you Canadian Pizza I've been a very good customer for over 20 years.

Ordered online for delivery. Called to find out where pizza was 1 hour after placing order. They told me it was out for delivery. 30 minutes later called again to find out where pizza was. Said it was leaving the store soon. Will update of I actually get the pizza.

The service at this place keeps getting worse. The dispatch staff are frequently rude, and they often close earlier than their stated hours. While the pizza is good, the poor service makes us less inclined to order frequently. When we do order, we prefer to pick up the pizza ourselves because the delivery is often incorrect and the food arrives cold.
