What not to like? Have milk teas and snack entres, wifi, work station and dining. Mostly college students since it's across CSULB. Nice staff, some sample teas at the counter. My fav grab and go food is popcorn chicken.

best boba ever! the parking can be a little hard at times, but it’s totally worth it. food: get the steamed/crispy dumplings or the crispy chicken! drinks: try the matcha latte, mango green tea, or the black milk tea w brown sugar boba :)

1st time here and like their tea. They even had samples out for you to try some flavors. This is the first tea place that I've been to that offered that. It would be nice though if they filled up my glass all the way like the other 2 drinks we purchased. I kinda felt short changed. They also forgot to put boba in my son's drink, but didn't hesitate to fix it. We'll be back. 😁

Try the strawberry crush it's amazing. On cold days grab the almond black milk tea, on point! The food is amazing, the crispy chicken is great for any occasion!

Love the Jasmine milk tea, mango green tea, almond tea... also really like their chicken salad. If you like Boba, they make it fresh there so you shouldn't get the off-texture ones.

I can't believe this place doesn't have a higher rating! Such good food for so cheap! It's healthy, delicious, and easy on the stomach. I had the Japanese curry with Chai, and it didn't disappoint. My boyfriend had crispy tofu with brown sugar bubble tea, and it was the smoothest, creamiest bubble tea he had ever had. I tried it too, and I can vouch for it. I can't recommend this place enough.

I can't believe this place doesn't have a higher rating! Such good food for so cheap! It's healthy, delicious, and easy on the stomach. I had the Japanese curry with Chai, and it didn't disappoint. My boyfriend had crispy tofu with brown sugar bubble tea, and it was the smoothest, creamiest bubble tea he had ever had. I tried it too, and I can vouch for it. I can't recommend this place enough.

During my visit, Cha For Tea has one option for individuals seeking a Vegan food option. The meal is decent though I feel like I might as well go to a market during the middle of my meal. I appreciate the factoid about frying Tofu potentially contaminating a Vegan product with animal byproducts because the non-Vegan options go in the same fryer that anything that needs frying goes into. After leaving the nearby optometrist I decided to stop in today for lunch today. Service was ok, I didn't get the warm and fuzzy greeting or interaction that I look for in a business I patronize. I ordered the sweet potato fries (mild Cajun), steamed dumplings, and crispy chicken (mild) to go. The steamed dumplings were a little too watery but I was hungry and ate them nonetheless. The fries and chicken were tasty! I also ordered a Thai ice tea with no boba and it was ok, definitely not the best ice tea that I've had. What I saw others had liked good, so it's definitely worth a try.

Usually love going and the drinks and food are great. I ordered online just this once but they missed 2 order notes. One of my drinks had no sweetener and was missing the add on I paid for. :( I recommend going in person so you can double check your drink is correct.

I love that they have various milk options. I would however say that the default on the peach green tea milk tea was five pumps of sweetener, which was way too much for me personally. Points off for the straw being a paper straw and the lid being like a dixie cup sort of lid and not that satisfying bubble tea portable sealed plastic that you get to satisfyingly stab which I'm sure is a side effect of the weak paper straw. I ordered bubble tea. of course I want to stab something. I'm really disappointed that I don't get to. Also, I kind of wanted to wait out the traffic here. There were two open tables inside but they were both dirty covered in sauce and/or tea. I grabbed some napkins and tried to wipe one of them down but whatever it was was too sticky and half dried on the table and so I couldn't get it clean enough to want to sit there. The upholstery is kind of beat up too so it wasn't looking super inviting. All that said, if I'm headed out of Long Beach on another occasion I'll probably stop here and order with no sweetener, to go, and I actually typically have at least one random boba straw in the car...

There were 4 people behind the counter (no other orders), yet they were just talking and waiting around. My drink took roughly 15 minutes and the boba was overcooked. Bummer.

Packed in the weekend. The boba was a hit. Brien sugar tea boba. Perfection. Warm and cold, chunks of sugar, sweetened perfectly. The food was terrible. The chicken was overcooked and tough. The crispy chicken was almost not edible, like little chunks of leather. The dipping sauce wasn't too good either. I'd recommend skipping the food and having the delicious boba.

Convinced that the staff did not know how to make hot drinks. They were served to us very very late (multiple people behind us in line received their drinks well ahead of us and we still were waiting even when there was no line and no one in the shop). When we did receive our hot drinks they were not even hot anymore, and didn’t even taste that good. The staff offered to microwave our drinks for us but the experience was already ruined by then.
