Can't say enough about this unique place to eat. Try the potato salad-the best I've ever had. (Except for my Aunt Jane's!) The service was way above average. We had the sweetest server. She was so nice and recommended the cake that turned out to remind me of my mother's. It was the caramel yellow cake. Try it. You'll never regret it. This us the Longview Newk's. Best place ever!

I had to forgo my usual fav of pepperoni pizza due to dental surgery this week…but your Mac and cheese did NOT disappoint. Never had anything that wasn’t great.

Their pizza the spicy shrimp with no shrimp add chicken is my favorite ! I wanted to make sure though and post this review because they went out of their way today and didn’t have to at all .I had ordered for delivery through their website and Uber was the delivery service they said they were on there way even said they delivered and never did I called Newk’s she apologized immediately refunded the money and said she would handle Uber and I reordered thru door dash and they got it here super quick most places would have told me to call Uber and dealt with it myself but that’s not what Newk’s did and I appreciate it given I was on back to back meetings and calls

The food was very good, the salads were fresh and the soups were yummy. My husband had the baked potato and I had the gumbo. The service was very good. This is an orderr at the counter kind of place but our meals came out quickly and were delivered to us. We will be back.

Love their salads. Everything on their menu is delicious. Great place to grab a light lunch! Staff is always friendly and helpful — I tend to modify my salads to my tastebuds and they never seem to be put out by me doing so. Can’t wait for the “condiments bar” to be back — I love their roasted garlic and all of the pickle, pepper varieties. (I know I can ask for them but I prefer to browse and self-serve.) 🙃

No complaints! Read menu on the wall, selected what I wanted, ordered, sat down and waited on food. The food was brought to the table, and was very Good! To be a small place, their pizzas are freaking phenomenal! Really great selection of sandwiches, soups, salads, and pizzas! Hard to beat for any meal!

Great place to dine in and enjoy family and friends. The pizza is too greasy, but I'll manage. The cashier was polite and patience and there's not anything I can possibly critique. If I was keeping time, it was a long wait time, but the food came out straight from the oven itself because it was hot. I recommend this place.

If you're looking for a fantastic soup and sandwich shop, this is the place to go! They even have wraps and salads. The work staff is so kind and professional and really seem to enjoy their jobs. Love Newks! Great, clean environment. Food is great! When I come here, I really like to stick with the Chicken Caesar Salad. The chicken Caesar Salad is really good. In the pictures attached, is a salmon Caesar salad. The salmon was good. However, I wouldn’t get the salmon on my salad again, just because I prefer my salad cold(er) and the warm salmon made my salad warm. It was still delicious though.

We love the lobster and crab bisque at Newks! I always get a half of a Newks Q with the lobster and crab bisque. They have an area where you can help yourself to their bread sticks, roasted garbanzo beans, capers, croutons, jalapenos.... Their tea is awesome! We had stopped going to Newks for a few months due to a few times of feeling unwelcome by a couple of workers at the front taking the orders..not smiling, not looking at me, and seeming put out to take an order...but this time the girl at the front was very sweet and welcoming. I'm so glad we tried it again and the service was better.

Great place to get some work done on your laptop or lunch with colleagues to chat. Food is always fresh. Grab and go is always full. Curbside pick up is at normal speed after ordering. Busy days, you'll wait 10 mins over. One of my top favorite restaurants. Worked at one when I was in high school, so I'm very familiar with the taste and menu. You can't go wrong. 10/10

The staff here is always friendly and helpful with my mobile orders, and the quality of our food is always great!

The food is always good, staff goes above and beyond. The only dislike is the way they moved the booths in the back because now the overhead light is right at your head. It would be an issue for someone who is taller or if you simply don’t pay attention you could hit your head when standing up. Overall always a pleasant visit!

Out of the newks locations I've visited, this by far is the best one. Everything is tasty and fresh. They do not skimp out on the ingredients on pizzas (i have ordered pizzas from the bossier city LA location and got maybe 4 shrimp on a pizza before, with paid for extra shrimp). This location if you pay for extra ingredients, you will get what you pay for. It is always nice and clean, i think every time we've stopped here, an employee will be cleaning the restroom and wiping down with disinfectant (restrooms are also usually super clean). Also, very quick service and all of the employees are super friendly. If you are reading this in November 2023, the chicken and dumplings soup is so good. I really like that the dumplings remind me of like potato gnocchi. Newks as a whole company has revamped some things with their menu and app, so if you haven't tried them in a while, give them a try again now.

Hands down, one of my favorite places to eat! It's clean, very clean, all of the staff all friendly. Their bathroom are ALWAYS clean. Their high chairs are clean, they aren't sticky, and full of dried up food everywhere. I love the atmosphere ! It is hip, casual, fun, and affordable. I love to get The Debra, it is my all time favorite. It is a great place for any occasion and the entire family! Come prepared to eat, and don't forget to get something sweet!

We had a wonderful meal at Newk's. I could not give 5 stars for service because they made my sister's order wrong and it had to be corrected. If you want a good salad this is the place to go in Longview, Texas, although I had pizza that was really good.

The guy that runs the to go area is dope and really helpful. You can definitely tell he runs it, you don’t even have to ask. I give him 5 stars, I give the restaurant , because it’s always too busy and not enough seating. There was also very little sauce on my pizza, but still good.

The food is very good, however it was about noon and they had run out of pizzas. I usually order their sausage pizza and it is fantastic, but I don’t know how they could run out of pizza so early. Additionally, a member of our party ordered a salad without pecans and tomato, however when the food arrived her salad had not just pecans but also tomato. She sent the food back and quickly got a replacement dish, but I still wish it was right the first time. Overall the food is very good and the service is quick, with a few stumbles here and there.

I've always loved Newk's; their salads are actually meals, rather than limp dressing-holders. I've had most of the salads on the menu, and couldn't pick a favorite... I can't comment on the sandwiches, as I've never gotten that far! 2024 edit: the "toppings" bar has been removed, and while you can still get pickles, peppers, and parmesan upon request, you can no longer get the garlic. That was a major draw for my wife and I, so I'm going to have to dock a star for its removal.

I love their soups, choose carefully on the sandwiches, I don't like all of them. The pizzas are delicious, and my wife LOVES their chocolate cake and Mac n cheese. Only issue is it's a bit pricey.

They have several interesting versions of mac and cheese that go way beyond traditional, and great tasting soups. You order at the front counter from an impressive menu posted on the wall. Give yourself some time - it takes a while to make a selection, but it's all good! Order a large self-serve drink to get a nice take-home cup. A staff member delivers food to your table when it's ready. They also have some great on-the-go options ready packed for easy pickup. Prices are reasonable, there's plenty of seating, and the atmosphere is relaxed. This is a great place to grab a meal.

This place is a favorite. Love coming to eat here almost every Sunday. I normally get the pizza, but their salads are really good as well. My only issues with Newks is that their chicken is usual too dry. I love chicken and the sandwiches that they have, but it's a 50% chance it will not be dry. But their manager Anthony is amazing! And is very helpful. 😁

They have such good food, but DO NOT order curbside and expect to have your food delivered. It will get placed on a shelf and sit there until it is cold. I have had to go in every time to pick it up. I'm not being lazy, just trying to be expeditious since I am on my lunch hour.

NEWKS doesn’t disappoint! Usually a nice atmosphere, employees seem pleasant, and not a long wait time.

Food was good but came out luke warm due to it being so cold in the building. I bet it was 55 degrees in the customers seating area. It was freezing! It was 53 degrees outside. We had to get a box to go eat in the car.

Was there today. They seemed short handed. A lot of dirty tables, food slow coming out of kitchen and morale seemed low. There were 5 of us. 4 of us had salads, and 1 sandwich. Salads were good, but bread on sandwich was hard as a brick! The mini bar where they keep condiments was almost empty and needed restocking. Just an OKAY visit. Needed improvement. They weren't terribly busy either.

There is plenty of parking, the menu is somewhat hard to find what you are looking for and it's not in a great spot. Service times to receive food vary in length from one day to the next. Food quality is consistent and good but you definitely pay for it. I had a half sandwich and half soup and a soft drink for 12 dollars. You do get to keep a plastic cup. For Longview, this would be where the "who's who" would go for lunch.

I’ve eaten here several times and been very happy. Today I just wanted a small salad and came here specifically because I’ve loved their salads in the past. Today, not so much. Wilted lettuce, sour cucumber, and not enough of the items that make it a Greek salad. (Except there were several good artichoke pieces.) I’ll probably give them another chance but I was disappointed.

Great place to eat for a veriety of different foods. Does take a little bit for the food to come out, mainly because it's all made there. However, they need to do a better job at cleaning off unused tables.

I dined in on November 15th and ordered the steak sandwich which usually comes medium rare cooked. I don't know if it was the cook that day but the meat was almost gray and raw and very unappetizing. After two bites, I couldn't eat it anymore and requested a refund from the front counter which they attempted to processed but I never got my refund. All other staff was very nice in the atmosphere was good

The mediterranean pizza we had was fantastic. The only downside to our visit was it was a Monday afternoon and a lot of the tables in the dining area were not clean and were full of dishes. My guest and I were the only ones in the restaurant and none of the employees seem to care that the dining area was a mess

Restaurant was clean and efficient during lunch hours. Ordered a salad and pizza. Lucky I was not pressed for time, took 20 minutes to get food. I was not impressed with the flavor of my lunch. Looked great but tasted bland.

Turkey avocado sandwich had brown/black avocado on it and when I asked for it to be remade we waited 20 minutes for it and then had to ask a worker where the food was . The woman roughly sat it on the table with an attitude. The guy offered the woman next to us free dessert for the time wait on their food while we were still waiting on our food and had been there before them. And then had to ask for missing items that we ordered as well.

They were good in the past, but they are terrible now. Today we came in and ordered around 1:00, and 40 minutes later, they hadn't even started our order yet and supposedly there were 7 orders still in front of us and it would be another hour! This was in a half-capacity restaurant. Nothing was said when we placed our order about any long wait. Combine that with the no refill rule (which is unnecessary; just let people get a replacement cup if you're concerned about germs) and that they have decimated their menu (both my favorite sandwich and my favorite pizza are no longer available) and I have no reason to even try eating here anymore.

Ordered online, it said order would be ready in 15 minutes so I waited, showed up at the time for order to be ready. I made substitutions to my order online. When I arrived I waited another 30 minutes and my order was not correct. I told the cashier and she said “well that’s not they way we received order!” I showed her on my online order where I substituted the bread and added extra sauce. She refused to change it! They seemed to be understaffed and scrambling not only with my order but others as well. Didn’t even get apology for order being wrong the girl just shrugged her shoulders. Disappointed for sure.. good customer service is important.

Food was definitely not worth it. The most blandest sandwich I’ve ever had. My spouse ordered mac and cheese and there was more grease then cheese. Plus almost 10 dollars for a serving that is smaller then my hand is insane. My daughter ordered the grilled cheese… how do you mess that up!? It was bread. The cake was good but that’s all I can say for it. They must of paid for all the other reviews here. Because I’ve been to 2 star places with better food. Please go ANYWHERE else if you care about yourself or your family!

This is probably gonna offend some people but it's the truth the food was below average at this location the staff is incompetent and probably the worst restaurant staff I have ever seen. I had to make a phone call and my mom was left with my 7 year old and they throw her pizza and chocolate milk that I had bought and she had only eaten one slice of the kids pizza. I understand they want to keep tables clean but ask before they just take things away from a table people are still sitting at. Do better I know you can.

Maybe bc this is so far from Mississippi and ownership of the company they don’t take it as serious? I’m not sure, but my daughter and I coming in and it taking 25 minutes for us to get two sandwiches is pretty wild. Also, the restaurant is dirty.

I had a pickup order, I originally gave a five star review. The lady behind the counter was extremely nice, and helpful. However when I opened my wrap the lettuce was wilting and started to get mushy. I am not sure if it’s because I didn’t dine in that they weren’t that concerned about my lunch or if they were supper busy. Either way I won’t be back and I suggest that if you have a pick up order you check your food before you leave which I should have but didn’t.
