Good, a little pricey but everything is, ribs were great, turkey as great, brisket was standard expectation, they were sold out of chicken by 5:30 so it must have been great and the sauce was good not too sweet not a heavy vinegar base would recommend.

First I need to say that if I ever gave 5 stars for fantastic then they would get it! However I believe that 5 stars means they cannot possibly get any better. The staff is very polite and in good spirits. I like the great welcome when I walk in the door. There will usually be 1 person anywhere you go that's having a bad day. I ordered takeout that was ready when I got there....5 min or so. I got a 2 meat plate with 2 sides. I was expecting some chicken and probably 1 rib. Well WOW they put 3 huge ribs in there and 2 layers of chicken. It must weigh 1 1/2 lbs. Plus my sides. Bbq sauce and 2 slices of bread. That was 18 plus tax. Very impressive!!! I also was able to park right at the door, but they also have a drive thru. This food would feed 4 people lunch. I may have to go ahead and give them 5 stars.

The other day I paid $15 for a spud with no cheese, a pinch of meat, & still had to assemble it myself. What did I pay for then? Bought a link sandwich with no bread. When I addressed it, cashier lied & said she didn’t charge it even tho I paid the $8 Went again for the rib sandwich plate. Great flavor with a lot of meat but still no bread. The beans were wonderful with shredded meat throughout but the potato salad was over powered by sage, maybe black pepper I think but def won’t take another bite to find out

Great brisket - cut nice and thick. Potato salad looked unique, but tasted great. Loved the sauce and the hospitality.

We have eaten there for years. Bbq in general is expensive, always has been. It’s not an inflation issue. It is good food. Have had better, but we continue to go back. I wish they had fried okra or Texas twinkies. It is not over top with options like Hard 8 or Hutchins. I am not a particular fan of the baked beans and potato salad - maybe too much black pepper or spice for those sides.

This was always the best overall store I thought for years. NO MORE. Ribs not flavored and tough. No fall off the bones tender. Brisket was tough and bland. Beans and potatoes old. Last chance for me Bodacious on loop 281.

To start off, the restaurant is very neat. The prices of the food is extremely high! A slab of ribs is $70+ (FOR A SLAB)! U can see what I got from the receipt. Even with a lb of chopped beef, u have to pay for bread separately (which buns should come with it). EVERYTHING is sold seperatley and they have no bundle packs. The ribs were tough on the ends, they tasted like they were left overs from the day before. The mac and cheese could've been sucked up with a straw. Didn't eat the potato salad or beans. Bodacious on Mobberly has the BEST BBQ in town and they also have bread that comes with their meats and bundle packs (not to mention their slabs are about $30). The taste is also much better. As for this location, the food quality does not match up to the extremely high prices! Spend ur money how u like🤷‍♀️

When you order a BBQ potato, wouldn't you expect for the meat, butter, cheese and sour cream to actually come on or at least WITH the order? Then when I call to advise, I am told I was suppose to ask for it when the menu explicitly says these things come on the potato. I wasn't offered any way to make this right, they could have at least brought me butter, cheese and sour cream. No offer to bring me anything or a refund and this BS cost me almost $25 with delivery and fee's because I am in town working from a HOTEL. And why is the turkey shaved like deli meat? Geesh, Not impressed.
